My best friend took me here. He has a Corvette like me. I just wanted to check my tire balance, and possibly an alignment for my 2005 C6 Vette. I was willing to go for the alignment, but Brian said to check out the how the car rides first, then decide. Needless to say. The car ran perfectly, and he was right, I didnt need the alignment. Had a vibration issue at 70+ on my brand new tirerack package (18 with Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4) that was supposedly road force balanced... Just took it to RCT Performance to get it redone, and was super surprised to learn that all 4 wheels needed to be adjusted and weights added. The balancing was way off. My vibrations completely disappeared and now I literally cant tell if Im going 60 or 90 MPH... You dont realize how significantly off something like this is until you feel perfection. Highly recommend anyone in NYC that needs a to have their Tesla aligned or balanced etc. to visit RCT Performance in Westbury Li. Guys were very professional, and knew exactly how to work on teslas. They treated my car like gold. They used Jack pads for the lift, adjusted proper tire pressure, used a torque wrench on my lugs

Professionals. I dropped my M3 off at 9am and they had it back to me by 11. They installed rear toe arms and perfected my alignment. I’ve been a car/track enthusiast my whole life. I’ve searched for years to find a COMPETENT alignment shop and I have finally found one. I always get excuses or my car back driving crooked or a technician that knows everything and doesn’t want to hear my input before an alignment.I brought my M3 to a different shop a week prior to install front tie rods and rear toe arms. After having it two days they only installed the tie rods and ruined my alignment. They “didn’t know where the rear toe rods went” they thought they were endlinks and never installed them.If you have a lowered car, this is you one stop shop. I will be back with all my vehicles.

I came here to get new wheels & tires put on my VW GTI as well as an alignment. As soon as I pulled up, they put my car up on the rack. They had my car done in less than an hour. They did a spot on alignment and now my car rides very smooth and super straight. Im extremely pleased with my overall experience here. Have been using RCT since 2015 and Ryans shop has always been prompt, courteous, reliable, professional, and very up-front. Every time they installed new tires and did road-force balancing, the outcome has always been positive. Recently, I had Doug do the four-wheel alignment and it straighten things out. Im extremely satisfied and yes, you do get what you pay for.

Brought in a fairly modified car for a pre purchase inspection. Shop was clean and organized, Employees were courteous and knowledable and even brought us underneath the car to point out several issues, and also several things that were right. Shop also provided a ballpark estimate on the cost to have small issues rectified. Overall a great shop who really know their stuff. If i lived in the area, I would definitely frequently use this shop.

I changed all the suspension components on my BMW E46 M3 and my alignment was wayyyy off. I called RCT Performance at about 8AM and got an appointment for 10:30AM the same day. As soon as i arrived they were ready to start working on my car. They got my alignment in spec and 11:15AM I was on my way home. They were professional and the price was fair. Id recommend. Give them a try.

Recommended I replace some worn parts (no pushy sales, just professional recommendations). I had a shop install a set of coilovers for my car, since then my suspension has been making clicking noises in the rear, the shop told me it was normal but I wanted a second opinion. A friend of mine highly recommended RCT to me. I came here because I was experiencing noise from my rear suspension, initially I had the mindset that I would come to RCT to get the noise diagnosed and it would cost me $$$$ to fix the issue. When I arrived I was greeted by Ryan who listened to my issues and then explained to me the steps he would take to see what the issues were. Ryan test drove my car, and then had me do a test drive with him to point out to him the noises. Ryan and his crew put the car up on the lift to access the situation. They revisited some bolts to ensure everything was bolted down properly found nothing out of the normal. Ryan took me aside showed me, and explained to me, my suspension setup and why I would occasionally hear these noises he was very informative about it and what he explained to me made a ton of sense. On a side note my dust boots and bump stops were banged I asked Ryan if I should replace them. Ryan was straight and honest told me no it wouldnt be worth the labor to it would just happen again up due to my car being low. Honest staff, clean shop, knowledgeable.

Had a really good experience at this shop. I have an 16 M4 and it’s not a car I trust just anyone working on. I brought it over to this shop to have them take a look and the owner Ryan was knowledgeable and honest. He gave me a ballpark figure and told me he’d call me with exact pricing.Once we spoke, I asked him if I could try and find slightly better pricing online instead of paying BMW retail pricing from a local dealer and He was totally cool with in fact he encouraged it. I really liked that he was honest about that. It went along way in my book!We had correspondence over the next couple of weeks, me asking questions and Ryan doing the best he could to answer them etc. He told me to call him once he got the parts.Finally got my parts, called him and he got me in right away. Whether you need a simple alignment/tire change or suspension work done to your vehicle, Ryan and his crew won’t steer you wrong. Him and his staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. I brought my 15 Altima to have coil overs installed along with new tires. Alignment, new tires, coil overs, and rear fender roll took about a little over 3 hours to install. Very amazed. I thought I’d be there for a good 5 hours. Although Ryan mentioned that I did not need to roll my fenders as I am no where near scrapping, I had it done anyways just for peace of mind. Car handles so much better. More stable at highway speeds, less body roll, and tighter on turns. Again big thanks to Ryan and his crew for making it happen!!!

This is perhaps the worst body shop Ive ever been too. They scratched my bumper and tried to gouge me for more money after doing a far less than quality job on my diffuser. If your looking for attention to detail and quality work you surly will not find it here. The car had been ready for over an hour and i never got a call then had the audacity to claim that he left me a message. One star and thats being generous.

I was browsing for a new tire shop to install my new tires on my suv. I found RCT via google and realized the owner Ryan was someone who I had dealt with many years ago when he was at a local performance shop. He was always fair and upfront with pricing and one of the best import enthusiasts I knew; fast forward to today and he hasn’t changed.Ryan and his crew at RCT worked flawlessly in installing my new 22” tires. Wheels torqued, tires set at my desired psi and the new tires was a huge improvement.His crew also took their time in putting back the previous tires inside my suv making sure they didn’t scuff the cream leather interior and panels.It was great catching up with Ryan and will be bringing my other vehicles for future wheel, tire, etc. services at RCT.

Solid work and great communication! I brought in a coilover kit for installation and James and the team were great.Turns out that some parts on my Accord (with 170k on it, so its to be expected) were warped/busted, but they were able to source replacement parts same day! Alignment is excellent, and even though my car is lowered, it drives even better than it did on factory shocks/springs (which, to be fair, were in bad shape).

Have never been given the hard sell on anything there, but one year when I was having winter tires mounted, they explained the benefit of getting a wheel alignment done. Im glad I did so. Nowhere else ever in my 25 years of driving and working on cars has a owner or tech wanted to know about the symptoms and problem to help diagnose the issue.They also helped a great deal with getting my tire issue resolved with the dealer and manufacturer .As for the the negative reviews. .. why would you have your tires shipped to a place and not install them there? Theyve always been courteous and when they slot a time for me, Im in and quickly.Pricing wise has been fair also. Several friends bring their cars here for tire and alignment service now because of my recommendation.

RCT was recommended to me by a friend after I hadnt had the best luck with a couple of other performance suspension shops sorting out my 04 Lexus Sportcross. The first them I had my car there I was thrilled with not only the price of the work, but the quality. Since then I have had my car at RCT more than a few times for various things including installation of coilovers, steering rack replacement and alignments. Ryan and his entire team are always very accommodating and I fully trust them. RCT FTW

I took my 2016 BMW 435 Gran Coupe to have my new HRE wheels and tires banlance and installed. after a week, I decided to wash my car ( beacsue the weather got nice) I notice that each wheel had some sort of scratches on the iner lip. These wheels have a custom finish that only HRE can power coat. I came to them as a recommendion from a good freind. I drove over an 1 1/2 hour, just to have my wheels scratch. I call them up and spoke to the owner Ryan he ask me for my number and said he would call me back, I never got a return call and any money back for my damage wheels. Now I have $3,0000 wheels that have scartches on them and will cost me $500 to re-powder coated them from HRE, that does not include the shipping cost. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! OH AND THEY ARE RUDE AS HELL!!!!!

One of my biggest pet peeves of NYC roads are those metal plates they put on the road when they patch up whatever road theyve dug into. I happen to hit one that was way higher than it seemed and was enough to throw off my alignment (which I had just gotten repaired a few weeks back). Came to RCT the following morning to get a full alignment done as I was due for a track day in two days. Alignment has been perfect ever since and feels even better than before I hit that plate. Even suggested new camber/toe settings and it was spot on. Car felt better balanced on the track. Price is very reasonable, highly recommended. They also opened a new location in Westbury if anyone is out on the island.

Be careful, getting charged by the brand of the car and not for actual work, they over priced in everything, ( they are 35% more expensive then everyone else - for no explained reasons), try asking them why so expensive hahah - they will give you attitude and you still will not get answer ahhah, and if they can’t get something right on the car it is a cars problem (lol ) never there’s, couple of my friends and cousins had same exact experience .

Had tired shipped to their from partner company Tire-Easy they forced me to install the tires there no where did it say i had to install my tires at that location. One of their drivers that took my car was burning the clutch in front of me. When i had a defective tire they recharged me again to remount a tire... took them 5 minutes and no balancing still had the same problem with howling noise suggested i rotate my tires myself.... or they could charge me to take 4 wheels off and move them around after they already charged me for mounting and balancing 5 tires and refused to help me in the slightest.... Then i had problems with the Tire-Easy company with the bad/howling tires RCT refused to write an invoice that i had howling tires or to help at all hung up on me. RCT Horrible Customer Service, Overpriced, Charge you for everything, Untrained staff burning my clutch, Once they get their money they refuse to help you unless you throw more money at them.

IMO I dont recommend you bring your project car or anything with custom/after market suspension parts here. If you do be very weary. I went there for a wheel allignment. They claim to be famillar with after market suspention parts etc. but they are not. And when you try to explain how you want the work done or what procedure you want them to follow you eather get ignored or an attitude as if you dont know what youre talking about. The customer is allways right and they should repect peoples cars/builds. Just because its not a Ferrari dosent mean that ir shouldnt be treated as such. In the end they finally did what I wanted but not after hounding them, putting up with their ignorance and suffering a bit of damage to the items they touched. The job was rushed and was way overpriced for the small amount of work they did.***UPDATE**after response: After discovering that they did not follow instructions on the toe links I decided to check the tie rods and low and behold one of these so called knowledgeable people left the lock nut on the tie rod LOOSE! I knew there we something a miss when I see the dude put a torch on a BRAND NEW part! Those rod ends are injection molded. Glad I was watching. I hope I explain this enough to MAKE SENSE: These guys dont know s***.Good luck if you go there. Apology accepted but that does not change facts. Done.

STAY AWAY!!!! This place is HORRIBLE!!! I came in to have my wheels road force balanced and my tires and wheels inspected. $65 and 10 minutes later, I am on the side of the road changing to my spare tire. When I return, Ryan tells me that the nut on the TPMS valve was loosened on that wheel and one of my other wheels. Thank God both did not go flat, I only have one spare. He took no responsibility for this whatsoever, he blamed it on whoever installed the TPMS valves, which I had installed one year ago and never had a flat tire until now. I dont even know if he ever road forced balanced the tires or not.I since had my tires and wheels inspected and I now have a wobble in the hub of the wheel that went flat and the 3 month old tire is feathering.Dont believe all the positive reviews, that is what brought me here, these guys are greedy, money-hungry liars!In response to Andre Lavoies review, the homepage of RCT Performance website says, Pick Up Your Tires, it says nothing about having to have them installed there. As I said, they are greedy, money-hungry (prejusdice) liars!
