This gym is a flipping joke. When you want to cancel, it becomes the problem. I called and was told the process of cancelling. When I got there, the story changed. The guy at the front desk was just as rude as the manager I previously spoke with. Seems like you would want to keep a good reputation seeing as how there are ample amounts of gyms available. I paid for almost a year and only worked out for 1 month and you think you’re going to charge me an additional month to cancel…I’ll never, ever return or recommend this gym!!

Monterro gave us a tour of the facilities and was very helpful answering any questions we had for him. Your faculties have everything we had hoped it would. Right now we have a membership at the YMCA, but will consider coming at some point. My husband has silver sneakers, but I wont until February. We are still thinking about changing over. Signed up and have only been a few times so far. Everyone is very friendly and it is very clean inside. Cheap membership for the value received. Nice locker rooms with showers. Plenty of equipment. The lady who works the front desk that helped me sign up was very accommodating.

Been a member for years and always enjoyed working out there; however, recently their musical selections have become awful. Instead of the classic rock and roll (AC/DC, Van Halen, Joan Jett, etc) they used to play, now its nothing but a continuous stream of thug music, with vile and misogynistic lyrics. Basically the sort of playlist youd expect in the exercise yard of a prison, rather than a family-friendly fitness center. So, if you decide to visit this You Fit, get a good pair of ear buds and bring your own music.

This gym does not allow Active and Fit members even though they say they do. There is a silver sneakers and active and fit sticker on the door but they would not allow me to join.

Its very clean, nicely organized, not crowded and the staff is great!

Called and cancelled membership during COVID as they kept charging me.. Rewceived a harassing phone call demanding money.. ended up payng half to get out.. poor business practices..

Great affordable gym clean and good equipment!

I canceled this gym since June/2020, the staff told me they will refund money into my account in threes week. After two months I still not received any refunds from youfit. I try to call for asking a reason, they just said ( they will refund but really don’t when) maybe 2 or 3 years later.The refund is not a large amount, but the problem of handling the work is not professional at all.

Clean facility. Great equipment. Helpful staff. The Director of Fitness, Matt Pike, is especially knowledgeable. His friendless and great attitude are very motivating! It is obvious that he is passionate about his job and the conditioning of his clients. Recommend you pay a visit to Matt if youre looking to get in shape.

The gym is always clean and smells nice. It is easy to maneuver within the gym, not usually too crowded. The staff is always willing to assist with advice or help spotting with a difficult exercise when I am struggling. Music is varied enough that I never become bored and there is no vulgar or distasteful music being played. Feels like a safe environment for me to work out in without being bothered.

The staff is very nice and professional. Very clean. Love it here. And for the price. Who can beat that?

Ive only been working out here for a month. I like that its not super crowded in the afternoon when I get off work. Its got all the equipment I need, not to mention an affordable monthly membership. Unfortunately, the water fountain tastes odd, so bring your own water

For a globogym style gym this place is pretty good. They have most of the equipment I want (though I wish they had a legitimate power rack with a 1,000lb rated bar) and its only really crowded during what I call the lemming times. Price is excellent. Wish they would give people a pamphlet or short video on gym etiquette as they sign up though. Lots of folks blocking the dumbbells when doing their sets and taking up equipment for too long. Cant fault the place for that though.

Great gym and friendly staff. Its a general purpose gym/facility. They have something there for everyone. I wish they were open longer on the weekends or even have swipe cards and 24/7 access. The price is right too.

I love this gym. Inexpensive, clean, and the employees are very professional. The employees are constantly cleaning and tidying as you are working out, yet theyre not in your way. You dont get bothered by personal trainers trying to sell you their services like at Golds Gym, yet they offer this service if you are interested. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good place to workout.

Lots of equipment. Affordable. Hours of operation are pretty inconvenient and keep getting shorter and shorter, especially on the weekends.

I was a member there for about 2 years. It is a great facility. They keep the place really clean. Everyone is nice and its not crowded. I didnt want a monthly draft so I opted to pay up front for a year. Their system will not allow you to purchase a year at the promo rate. I still managed to get a discount just not as great. When my membership ended I recieved quite a few phone calls, most while I was at work. Id like to come back but I dont have the money up front and Im not interested in any bank draft drama.

If you love being locked into a gym contract by a billing company, go for it! Then they wont let you cancel any other way than going in or by letter but you can only do that if you account is caught up. Well Ive emailed my cancellation several times and they just keep adding months. This is what happens with gyms that use billing companies.If someone wants to cancel, let them cancel. I asked to cancel 8 months ago and they wouldnt let me and they keep adding the monthly charge on every month now because Im not paying all of it because I havent been in 8 months. Im not doing it. And I cant cancel until its current. Sorry YouScam. Im not paying for something I didnt use and have told you that multiple, many, many times. Good luck. Not a good way of doing business but good luck to you.

Gets the job done, but definitely a new years revolution style gym. If you are looking for specialized training I would probably look elsewhere, but the price is nearly unbeatable. Just be aware that they also charge an annual fee on top of a monthly fee.

The equipment was always clean, reliable and in working order. The staff was always friendly and didnt inconvenience me in any way. I always liked the atmosphere inside the gym and the fellow members of the gym are respectful. I have had two stents of holding a membership with youfit. If I ever live near-by again, I will most likely return to this gym.

Upon my sign up I was told I had to have an assessment. I thought great. I arrived and which Trainer Cole tells me to warm up on the treadmill. I have no clue where it is or how to operate it, but OK figured it out. He then gives me weights I couldnt pick up. I realize I was in the gym for a reason and not to be laughed at by him. He tells me I need additional training. I explained I had no idea the assessment was to consider extra $ for a trainer. I told him I could not spend any extra which his reply was thanks for coming in. I have never been laughed at by a trainer and felt so embarrassed. Not sure I can go back.

They are a nice place but when I signed up I signed up thinking they had classes because of the ad I saw of the gym, but this location doesnt have classes, so I was disappointed. Nice clean gym over all.

Staff is polite, machines are easy to use, understand how to use and they have tons so you are not waiting. The gym is clean and staff members are approachable and able to assist members. Plans are reasonable and parking is great. They are located next door to police station. I would recommend youfit.

After being at Youfit for over a year I can honestly say they genuinely care about their members. The gym is always wicked clean and organized. Which is so nice, I hate a dirty gym. They have constant promotions for memberships and training through out the year which is how I could afford my training. This is a facility that is not just about the money, they are about helping people!!

Be aware of this ripoff place!! When you cancel your membership they keep charging your credit card and dont tell you. Then they send it to a collection agency for them to harass you and of course your credit

Great facuilty and price.The exercise area and the changing rooms are clean.Lots of machines, free weights, kettlebells bacically everything you need to get results.

I was not told about the cancalation fees properly. All I was informed is I could cancel when I wanted. I would not recommend using this gym as its employees do not inform you of the fees and are also made to harass customer by phone.

I have been to three Youfits in the last year, and this one is by far the best one. All the employees were very friendly, and greeted everyone that walked in. All of the equipment was up to date, and the gym itself is always CLEAN. I havent had any hidden fees or catches; the employees explain everyth charge that came out, and I havent had any surprises. This gym is a very good gym, and I dont see myself going anywhere else. Thank you!

I started my membership back in December 2014. I got an assessment with a personal trainer, and fell in love with being at the gym. 50 pounds later, by Summer of 2015 I felt i was done needing the gym. Cancelled my membership. Shortly after i found myself missing the atmosphere and the staff. Rejoined, even though i was disappointed that the rates had gone up. Have been a member since. And have no intention of cancelling again.Pros: Friendly staff, for the most part. Up to date equipment. Fair costs.Cons: Only one location, South Huntsville. Limited package plans.

Substandard, money grubbers. They get you in the door with the low monthly rate, then you see a trainer who tries to sell you on a weekly fitness plan which is over $200 and $80 dollars a month on top of that then $19 dollars a month for club membership and dont forget the $39 annual fee. And if you want to cancel you have to give them 30 days notice and pay a $10 processing fee, I would be very careful of this racket.

Its a good place to get a quick workout in. I have had no trouble getting a machine. Its also very affordable.

No one is in your space or your business. You feel at home.

Horrible what they did! They took out 3 transactions in one month without even telling me about the extra fees. I was told that the normal 20.00 a month would be taken out this June PLUS an additional 40.00 in June to cover an annual fee or whatever. So I made sure that the money in my account was in there for that. However, nothing was ever said to me about them taking an additional $50.00 out of my account just recently this month, leaving me in the overdraft! And NOW.... I have to wait for a manager who is out of town to come in and fix this! I really hope this isnt being done to anyone else, but just beware. Definitely reporting to my bank that this charge was unauthorized... because I was not even made aware of this 50.00 fee by any of the gym members at all and I am seriously considering canceling my membership with them right now, even if they refund the money.

If you have any inkling you might discontinue membership, beware of the fees. The language is there in the contract, but that font is very small and they definitely dont bring your attention to the raping that takes place should you leave. What got my goat was being charged for a whole last month when only two days had gone by in said month. Just because a business can include policies like this in a contract doesnt mean that they should. The policies Im talking about are insulting to patrons. The gym business model itself is one wherein profit margins are slim, I get it. But being subversive is insulting. The staff is trained to fight to hang on to customers to the point of annoyance. Hey YouFit, its tacky to ask for referrals from customers who are discontinuing business with you. Your policies make you look like the douchebags I think of when I think of gyms. Way to be tools.

Beware, Same complaint as everyone else. I signed up no contract, or so told. I called and told them I moved. They said I would have to go to the gym and cancel. Told them Im not in Alabama any more and there is no uripoff close to me. They dont care. Ok my credit care finally expires over 6 months later. I havent been once since December. They start calling me 4 times a day. U owe us money!! I tell them Im out of state, and my credit card is expired I havent been there in over 6 months. They dont care. I have to go in there and cancel or I will be held responsible. What a joke. Dont date and break up with ufit, she never leaves! Get a grip, Im not there! my credit card has expired.. Now click that membership cancelled button and move on..
