Picked up my car after a state inspection renewal. Technician left dirty fingerprints on leather panels. And the seat and middle console is now stained/discolored from whatever dirty or wet dark shirt they were wearing. Wont be bringing back my vehicle here. On the other hand, inspection was quick and evening hours are convenient. But Ill think twice before I come back.

Best service Ive ever received, Ken the Manager was helpful & knowledgeable (& should have a comedy act, hysterical). Fixed my tire rotated my tires and applied an online coupon so my rotation was free!! Ken and his staff were awesome. Will only go to them for all my car tire needs!!!!!

I had previously had a bad experience with this location but today made up for it. I got a flat on my car yesterday and after I refilled it, it was still pretty flat. I called Mavis because it was closest and my intention was to get the spare on and take it elsewhere. I called the shop and Ken reassured me they could take me in today. When I dropped it off, I checked in at the counter. Ken came out to the car and helped me look over the tires in question. We went inside and he spent time explaining everything about my tires and the options I had and didnt pressure me into anything. Everything went exactly as he said and the car drives great. It was because of Ken I bought 2 tires.

So I showed up today and was greeted by Ken at the door. There was a customer ahead of me. But he was very attentive. Ken explained to me the best deals and prices. as i am a person who is used to go to their family mechanic for everything. so i wasn’t too sure on pricing or labor charges. All in all I had a good experience here at mavis. The mechanics were also very attentive. One informed me that my brake pads n rotors were looking low and if i wanted to have them changed. They treat you like family here! I’ll definitely be back in th future if i need any brake work or suspension or tires! Thanks fellas!

I would highly recommend this place. I came here in a hurry and desperate need of service on my car. The staff Q and Ken were professional and super cool. They took care of my needs in a timely fashion and most importantly it was done correctly. Q took his time to explain everything that was wrong with my car and answered all questions I had. After a flat tire, I went first thing in the morning to this Mavis to get it fixed. Ive waited for a long time before, but this time, it went briskly. The fix works great, and they advised me to replace said tire before it starts to snow. They do great work!

I highly recommend going here for any issues with your car. I’ve gone to these guys many times over the past decade and I can assure you that these workers are very efficient, friendly and hard working. They also don’t waste time!

I enjoyed going to this Mavis location and this was my third visit. However this time after finishing up my oil change and changing out my air filter the mechanic decided he didn’t want to put on the skid plate properly. I drove off with the car about a mile before I hear a large thump and my skid plate is dragging on the ground. I bring the vehicle back and mechanic removes the skid plate and rather than fixing or providing a new one has the audacity to tell me I don’t need one. I’m sure he wouldn’t have this kind of attitude if it was his vehicle. I will not be coming back to this location again. 100% do not recommend this place

Ken was amazing and super helpful! I was on my way to work and got a flat and luckily they were just up the block. He got me in right away told me everything in great detail of what was happening and was able to get me back to work in no time. He was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable!

The service level has gone into the gutters. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. The front desk guy was rude with his responses, and then they had my car in the shop for 3 hours to change a tire! After 3 hours, they tell me that they don’t have the tools to remove the wheel.This place used to be decent, not anymore. I will be taking my business elsewhere.The customer solutions department said I would get a call from the regional manager, but that never happened. Not sure why they even asked me to call them.

Was able to get my car inspected the next day after making an appointment online. Took less than an hour to get in and out great service and the gentleman who helped me “Ken” was of great help. Will continue to use Mavis when I need it.

Q & his team are all very knowledgeable and I can’t tell you how much it means to me that they actually take the time to explain things to me thoroughly. It’s hard to find honest mechanics now a days, but Quentell is jus that. Him and his team work quickly and efficiently while still providing excellent customer service, I couldn’t ask for any more.

Went there Westbury Mavis for Flat tire . I was told I need new tires.Same thing happened in New Hyde Park store on Jericho Turnpike NY only needed brake pads n was told need all brakes n rotors. Went same day to another repairs n only brake pads were changed. Mavis sucks They tend to capitalize on your problem. Zero star is better for them.

Booked an appointment for inspection online. Went to store, was refused to do the work. Staff saying there’s no appointment under my name. After showing the appointment # ****38 and confirmation email, staff pretended to type and search for the number and then said it was cancelled. These guys just work on their high profit tire business and dont care any other customers.

I needed to get inspection on my car came here after looking up the nearest shop. Shak was very helpful as he explained the things that I needed to get done in order to get inspection. Reasonable prices fast service will come again.

Disappointed. Made an appointment Monday to get new tires and an alignment. They said the tires I wanted would be in the next day so I opted to get those instead of ones in stock. When I called the next day they had no status update. On Thursday, I called back again and was told they couldnt find the tires. No one even called to notify me so I could make other arrangements. Undependendable and horrible customer service!

What a mess! I needed my car inspected and 4 new tires. I left my car there. Later, I got a phone call... they didnt have my tires in stock.Now they want me to pick others over the phone... I dont know enough to do that and I was at work... now my car had to stay there over night...They counted wrong on my bill and didnt offer me the discounts they had. I found out through Google...I will never go there again.Have to add, the last guy helping me was very nice and helped me correct my bill

Needs better organization when busy. Has to wait almost three hours for an inspection when they were busy. Customers had been poorly communicated time frames and were annoyed.

I know that I caused confusion on which tires to have balanced but the manager and assistant manger were able to guide me through my visit. Que also assisted on which ones to balance and rotate. Casnel was pleasantly patient with my Toyota and double checked the tire pressure before releasing the vehicle to me. This was the worst experience ever! 20 years ago I used to love the service and prices at this location, I even remember the manager Back then was Chris and he was professional and courteous but times have changed dramatically at this location.The place is unprofessional, run down and I’m surprised corporate hasn’t cleaned house.Let me begin by saying that all I was doing is mounting new tires onto new rims with TMPS(my car was not there, I just brought them the items for them to mount & balance). I specifically asked them if they can be careful when mounting them, and they assured me to not worry(keep reading and you will see why I ask). I should have known better. I asked this of them because last year I did the same thing at this location, minus the TPMS on another set of aftermarket wheels. At that time I had dropped the new wheels/tires off. When I came back to pick them up they literally attached old school wheel weights to the outside lip of the wheel. They never called me To advise that they would be doing this and when I arrived and saw this they said the stick on weights wouldn’t work because there was no place that they would attach well to the rim. Mind you the rims have plenty of surface area for mounting the stick in weighs. The clamp on weights are literally crimped the the outer lip of the rims. They did not apologize nor were they sympathetic to my concern. I left and just dealt with it.So for this install I decided I would stick around for the mounting and balancing of this new set of wheels. I took my son and that ended up being the worst thing I could have done. I literally had to walk outside with him a number of times because the profanity from the manager and employees was unbelievable. They had a DJ speaker that blasted profane music. I couldn’t believe that the neighboring homes and businesses tolerated this.Employees were smoking the good stuff in the parking lot, which again I had to move my son to another area because all he did was look at me like what’s going on here dad.The install took hours, and while I was waiting I even seen them have issues with other customers, like installing two different tires on a vehicle, and when the customer noticed it they had to undo everything.To add to all this chaos the installer would drop and handle my rims like it didn’t matter. By the time I left it was pitch black outside and I was just dying to get out of there for the sake of my son. I got home and I inspected the wheels only to find multiple scratches on all wheels including a 1 inch gauge on one of the rims. I took pictures of the rims before mounting them to the vehicle to record the issues, and intended to call corporate, but chose not to waste anymore of my time with this company.I hope this detailed review makes other people think twice before bringing your wheels to this place or a child.If you like disrespectful, unprofessional, loud music, damage to your property and the lush smell of illegal scents in the air then go here. If any of the above bother you, stay away!!!
