The place was very pretty they let me come in early for my appointment. But some of the staff wasn’t very friendly The lady that was doing my nails didn’t talk so it was kinda awkward and then she was trying to call her friend on the phone and after a while she looked at me funny and said “do you want me to wax your eyebrows”In a rude tone. But other then that I had a pretty good experience.

My friends and I found this nail salon online when looking for a place to celebrate a birthday. Because of the experience with the signature pedicures, I booked them for my wedding nails. I had something pretty specific in mind and my tech, CC, executed to perfection! The members of my wedding party who got mani/pedis were just as happy with their experience! We will definitely be back!!

We made an appointment months ago for a wedding party of 5 people. Showed up at our scheduled appointment time, they told us to sit down and then ignored us for 45 minutes. We saw walk-in customers come in after us asking if they could get nails done and they were helped right away. We tried to ask how long it would be, again ignored. I called Fancy Nails on 50th in West Des Moines, they offered to stay late just for us to help. We walked out of Oscar Nails, staff was extremely rude. I have never in my life been treated like trash, but apparently that is how they treat their customers. I would NEVER recommend and will tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY.

I had Tom and he is the sweetest man and does such a good job and is very personable and funny! Best nail tech i’ve ever been too!

Very clean and nice facility with wonderful staff. I made an online appointment the night before and they were on time the next day when I arrived. I felt safe with all staff and clients appropriately masked. Great selection of colors and services with fair pricing. I will definitely be coming back!

Manicure and pedicure looked nice, lasted how long I would expect, and the place is clean. This was my second time here because I was very happy the first time. However, I was not so happy with my second visit. The nail techs were extremely late in starting (30 minutes after the appointment time) my friend and I’s nails and two of the nail techs were arguing with each other as they did our pedicures. Most frustrating of all is that I now have an ingrown toenail because of how my nail tech cut my toenail. I wouldn’t go back.

I went in to get my nails done for graduation and got the white tip. They came out okay but saw that the thumb nails didn’t even look like the others as far as quality.The next few days they started to chip. I called to come in for a repair. It was hard to get in just for the repair when I shouldn’t have to if they were done right the first time. I have enjoyed this place in the past but the quality they are putting out is horrible. They have started to rush with my nails the last few times. It’s unfortunate especially for big moments such as graduation. A place that doesn’t even get your name right when you spell it out is disrespectful.

I needed my nails reshaped from a prior service at another salon after I did not like the way they were and I called to make an appointment. I arrived early and the check in process was smooth. Tom was able to listen to what I wanted and shaped them perfectly. He was checking in after each nail to make sure that the length and shape were perfect. I am beyond happy with the way they turned out! I will for sure be back for future services! The salon was very clean and it was a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend Oscar Nail Bar!

Had a good experience here previously but when I went recently, Lee was very very rude. when she finished my nails, she said ugh finally... do not recommend. also think she purposely overcharged because she saw my boyfriend was paying ($100 for a mani and pedi)

Le is an awesome nail tech! She was very detail oriented and very kind. She gave me exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy every step of the way! I will be back!

I had a dipping powder manicure and the guy that did it did it so fast that he made my fingers bleed and hurt them so much. I know they are busy but if they charge so much they should give you a really good service the nail color was really good but when he was done instead of asking me to go wash my hands he just finished my nails like that and now there is something black in one of my nails one is cricked and the other ones at least 2 that i notice had nail dust trapped under the last layer. I should have never payed but he notice and still charged me 60 plus tip.! Never going back.

Super upset to have to write this, however, the last few times that I have come here, they rush through my nails so quickly and they end up chipping literally the next day. Also, what’s the point of making an appointment if when I show up for my 5:15pm appointment, I’m not even see until 6:00pm? I sat waiting longer than it took them to rush through my gel manicure just to have to return one day later when they chipped from doing literally nothing.

I was a walk in but due to my fiance getting hurt at work I had to leave and did not get my nails done today. I do plan to go back and get them done tomorrow. The place was clean, staff was very nice, and everything looked very professional.

Have had great experiences here. I always schedule with Ora if I can. Such a fun and relaxing environment to get pampered with friends. They offer complimentary drinks, have plenty of TVs and an open concept room. The pedicure chairs are deluxe and have easy to use remotes for massage and customization. They can get busy close to the weekend and through the weekend so I would get an appointment for those times just to make sure. Once I came in on a Saturday with a broken dip nail from 5ish days earlier and Ora got me in real fast and quick for free even though it was an hour and a half wait at least. They have great options for color but come in with an idea of what you want and ask for suggestions or come in with plenty of time before your appointment to look at color options. On a busy day it can be overwhelming and a rush if you do not.

I’ve gone here twice in the past week, pedicures & dip acrylic nails the first time, absolutely turned out great! I did the milk & honey pedicure & it was amazing—my feet feel so soft!Beautiful salon, love the atmosphere. Both times I’ve gone, it’s been very busy but they handled it very well—got people taken care of in a timely manner. Set up appointments both times, which I recommend considering how busy they seem to be. The check in process is quick & easy, & they have you taken care of within a few minutes.SOO many options for colors which is awesome!! The second time I came back because I just couldn’t handle my long acrylic nails for my work. My mistake, although I loved how they turned out & the coffin shaped nails were beautiful. I ended up doing gel the second time around & the manicure was quick & easy & my nails look great.I think one of the owners took care of me the second time & she was running around taking care of phone calls & check ins & still made me feel taken care of in a timely manner. So happy with this place I will definitely recommend it to everyone & will always come here for my mani & pedis!!!

Rush rush even though a appointment was set. Seems they they are upset about something, working?. Im assuming it was the owner due to no name tag, she was not friendly at all. With so many places to choose from we will not be returning. There is better customer service elsewhere.

Check-in was super easy. We were able to get right in and get chairs next to each other. We just got the regular pedicures and they did a wonderful job, it was so relaxing and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely book here again.

First timer here. Walked through the doors and it’s beautiful inside. I put my birthday in the ipad where you check in with your phone number and the ipad let everyone basically know it was my birthday since it started to play the song! Huge plus, I get 10% off for my birthday! They have nice big tvs so you aren’t just staring at a wall! I was also confused on what color to choose and a man put the color on his nails to show me! I cancelled my appointment for another nail salon to come here and I’m so glad I did. Can I just say my nails aren’t even done as I’m typing. I give the welcoming 5 star!

Truly a five star experience! My technician was Sophia, and she was wonderful! She was friendly, kind, and we had a very pleasant conversation that never felt forced; it was the perfect balance between talking and quietly relaxing. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, and their online appointment system is so convenient. Honestly the best time I have ever had getting my nails done.

Excellent service! Loved it i gave my nail tech Tom a pretty complicated art design and he did mess up on one mail and the design is a little crooked but that’s if I’m being super critical overall loved it!

Very clean and safe salon. Everyone wearing masks and I watched them doing an extensive job of cleaning after each customer and they had people separated apart. They also have plexiglass shields up at each nail station. I had the milk and honey pedicure - best pedicure ever! Dan did an amazing job. I also appreciated the very easy checkout. I will definitely return to have my nails done soon.

Cons: Pricey in comparison to other salons with the same quality; the tech made three of my nails bleed visibly which wasnt ideal because they were done for an event; he also pushed a different nail shape on me than what I requested; and he ground my cuticles down so much that it looked like I already needed a fill as I was paying for my manicure.Pros: The place is clean and nice with lots of options. The techs that did the nails of the other three people in my group did a better job and their nails looked great.

We had four ladies in our group who all had manicure dips, three pedicure dips, and one shellac. We had a great day, laughing, masking up, and enjoying the beauty of this salon. Very relaxing!

My daughter and I have been to Oscar Nail Bar 4 times now and have had an amazing experience each time! Staff is friendly, efficient and our pedicures have been perfect every time. My daughter loves to find pictures of different nail designs online and they are happy to accommodate. Great nail salon, definitely give them your business!

I have gone here three times. The nail quality is good, but every time I go I end up with the wrong color nails. It is really frustrating when I pick out a color and the nail looks nothing like the color I picked.

I went here several times for dip manicures. My nails always looked great, but the customer service was not. Every time I was there the technician was booked for the next thing before my service was done and was overly concerned about getting to them instead of paying attention to the paying customer in front of her. I felt that was very rude, as I was paying for my service and deserved her full attention. If it happened just once, fine, but it happened every time I went.

Fabulous new salon! I was a walk in and they were able to get me in quickly. The salon is absolutely beautiful and very clean. Beautiful decor, a lot of nail stations and pedicure chairs so they can serve a lot of clients at a time. The menu of services has a lot of variety so you can pick something that fits your budget. My nail technician was very thorough, used all new and clean equipment. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable with the water temperature and what she was doing. The staff and owner were all very nice and welcoming and checking to see if I was happy with my pedicure. I will definitely be going back again! I highly recommend this salon if you want a relaxing and enjoyable experience having your nails pampered!

Wow! This place blew me away! I went to Trish back when she worked at a different salon, and I now followed her to her own salon. I am so impressed with the quality and cleanliness of this place. Trish is so kind and I love catching up with her. She gives me the perfect nails and design I want. I would highly recommend this place. The decor is classy & beautiful,not that cheesy decor you see in all the other nail salons . It is very clean, which is more importantthan decor. The lady that did my pedicure was professional and very friendly. I could go on and on about this nail salon, but the words to describeare: beautiful, classy, up scale, very clean. The employees: professional, friendly, took great care in what they were doing, never talked in their native language to other employees while they are with a customer. This is very important to me and others because it is disrespectful to the client plus you never know if they are talking negative about you.Oscar Nail Bar does deserve the 5 stars ⭐️ ratingin every area of this nail salon! I went into Oscar Nail Bar today and my mom and I got manicures because she’s visiting from out of town. I had Sandy do my nails and she was amazing!!! She got just the shape I wanted and perfect length and did a great job all around. She was wonderful and so sweet the whole time. I will definitely be going back to her!

I’m new to the area and have tried a few different nail salons. This was by far the best pedicure I’ve ever had. The nail bar is beautiful, the owner is walking around engaged and the nail tech I had was nothing short of phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the experience. Nice atmosphere but services were rushed and not done fully

I got a dip powder manicure and within a week and a half, FIVE of my nails had broken. I have never had this issue before and will never go back! I suggest that no one goes here, ever. It’s a complete waste of money.

My friend and I were Walk ins for dips. They got us in right away, have a good selection of beverages both alcoholic and non, and even let us sit by each other. HUGE selection of colors to pick from. Im pretty picky about my nails and they turned out awesome! Smooth, same size and length, and good technique! Will definitely go back!

I hate writing bad reviews but I hope to save you $50! Ill post photos below of what my nails looked like when I left. When I called and emailed I confirmed this would be a complimentary service they then tried to charge me even though there was no verbiage of this before I sat down. ( Ill gladly pay a great tip for their time but not when this was an issue on their part and not something I had any control over) A woman working there told me that was normal that each one of my nails were lifting after a week...But I go 3-4 weeks between fills when they are done correctly. I went to Knockout nails after this and my nails look AMAZING!Go see Edmund at Knockout nails!!

Went here twice for acrylic nails. The first time was great but when I went in for a fill the second time, the woman was extremely rude. She made constant remarks about how I chose to get regular polish instead of gel polish. She said she doesn’t like doing regular polish and that it wouldn’t look good. Very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.

I am new to WDM and this was near my apartment and had good reviews, but unfortunately my experience was not great. My nail tech barely spoke to me (not even a simple “sorry” after filing the side of my finger and making me bleed). Instead of asking me to move my hand placement she put the lid of the acrylic powder on top of my hand (there was plenty of counter space). I just felt like she didn’t want to be there or assisting me. All in all pretty disappointed, my nails look fine except for the one that bled, but the customer service just wasn’t there. Especially when charging $10-$15 more than I normally spend.

Oh. My. Gosh! I came to this place in a whim because it was the closest to my shopping and had the highest reviews. AND FOR GOOD REASON! The atmosphere is gorgeous and comforting, it’s seriously BOUGIE AF. I had a nail technician named Sandy and she got my dip nails off without making my nails feel paper thin. My manicure afterwards is gorgeous and pristine. This place has outstanding service, gorgeous atmosphere and is super budget friendly. 10/10 would recommend. This is my new nail salon. Seriously. Big fan👌🏻

It is pretty expensive but it is understandable why since they give you complementary drinks and the place is so pretty.HOWEVERThe customer service is so terrible...I went in and they were friendly but the girl who did my nails was just pulling on my hands and not making friendly short conversations...my fingernails did not look good at all either, they honestly look like a joke and I paid almost $50.It so disappointing when you have hope for a place and they do terribly.
