Katelyn cut my hair and did a really amazing job! She was super friendly and answered all of my questions so I could make sure I was doing what was right for my hair. I really love what she did with my hair and will definitely be going back to her from now on! If you are looking for a new stylist I would totally recommend booking with her.

Absolutely a great place! Clean, great atmosphere, and people were following guidelines for masks. Kaitlyn was my stylist and she was GREAT! Pricing was on point. I would definitely recommend Refinery Hair to anyone.

Katelyn has been doing my hair for many many years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. As someone who has worked in the salon industry for years I know that I am not an easy client. From blonde to green to red and back again, I am that person that wants to do it all and Katelyn has always handled my requests with grace, excitement, and extreme dedication to her profession. Her work goes above and beyond my expectations time after time. Not only is the hair she gives me impeccable, but Katelyn is the type of stylist you actually want to be stuck with for a long appointment. She’s a delight to be with and it is truly an honor to have her hands in your hair.

I see Michelle T at Refinery is she is AMAZING. She is so nice, and is excellent with shape and texture. I took a while finding the right stylist when I first moved here, and Im so glad I chose Michelle. The shampoo with head massage is one of my favorite things ever! The salon itself is very nice and comfortable as well, and I look forward to my visits. It has a minimalist chic vibe that is refined and sophisticated. I highly recommend this salon.

Refinery hair has a great atmosphere and treats clients very well. The hair washing station chairs have a foot rest and you almost fall asleep you will be so relaxed! The location is great as well. Des is the best! She really listens to what you are looking for and makes suggestions. She really gets to know you and your hair I think that is important. She also cares a lot about her business and her clients. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else!

I love the feeling of going to Refinery and having them take care of my hair. Years back, I was disappointed with my old stylist since she was not consistent in color and I anxiously tried to find a new stylist in the time being. Through mutual friends, I stumbled across Kalies hair page on Facebook and made an appointment and it was one of the best decisions I made in my life. Kalie is fabulous and she has always given me the color I wanted. I simply show her a picture and she does just that. I also appreciated when I left with a beautiful color one time, but later decided I wanted to add a few more pops of blonde to frame my face. I told Kalie this and she got back with me immediately and adjusted her schedule so I could come in again to have her add a few more foils. Refinery has great customer service and value their clients. They also use Kevin Murphy for their hair care and it has literally been life changing. My hair is finally healthy because KM products keep your hair healthy and their dye even isnt as harsh as regular dyes. Bottom line, this a great salon. It is a bit more expensive, but totally worth it when you see the results of your color, cut, hair health, etc. I cant wait to have Kalie do my hair for my wedding!

I just got my hair done by Des at Refinery Hair in West Des Moines! I am absolutely in love with my new hair! I had an idea of what I wanted, showed Des some pictures, and she walked me though how we were going to decide on color and how the process is done! It was awesome that she was explaining everything she was doing and why! I would highly recommend Refinery Hair!
