My last hair cut was at the beginning of Pandemic (March 2020). It had grown longer than I ever had it, over shoulder length. I could no longer stand it. I was immediately impressed with this business. The facility was well kept and even had separate rooms for haircuts. One cutting room even had a window to provide a view out to the waiting room. I had called ahead to verify their hours, they said someone would be there, even though they were closing in an hour. I tried my best to arrive there with a half hour to spare, but was delayed. I finally arrived with just ten minutes to closing. I was delighted to be warmly greeted by Miss Flora, whom was wearing a mask. She said she had forty years experience, and I believe it. She took the time to listened to my request and provided me with an excellent haircut, at a reasonable price. It’s rare to find such good service these days. I couldn’t of been more satisfied. If you’re looking to support small businesses, you can’t go wrong going here. Thank you Miss Flora, I will be back on a regular basis and will recommend you to everyone I can.

Excellent hair cut each and every time.Fantastic line work extremely professional and works really well with kids. My son is 8. Flor does an outstanding job making him feel comfortable and talking with him about his day. It’s the little things that she does simple things that makes it more than a standard place to get a hair cut. She cares about her clients and provides outstanding service. Flor is an awesome stylist! I came back in town to Des Moines for a day and was pretty shaggy looking and wanted some place local to go. I found International Haircuts and read awesome reviews and they weren’t wrong! I had a great experience and Flor was very nice and precise, you can tell she has years of experience! 10/10 would recommend giving he shop a try! I’ll definitely go back again!

Awesome! I went because it was close to home and still open when i got off if my long bus ride from work but Id never been, just needed my hair cut. The woman was a latina that spoke great English. I didnt even know that i was going to a Latina for a hair cut, i usually prefer latino salons because the work is immaculate and precise but the cost is the average. Im this situation however, i was blessed with a very good haircut. Quite the hidden treasure for a guy that lives in the neighborhood but ends up having to gamble with the stylist at the big chain salons. Definitely check it out, you will certainly be impressed.

My husband got his hair cut here today after only getting a haircut from the same person for 10 years. He loved it so much and looks so good and professional.The hairdresser is a complete sweetheart super helpful and you can tell she loves what she does going back for my haircut next.

I live close by and wanted to go here for a while but then the pandemic hit. After months of pandemic hair Im so glad I went today!!! I honestly got the best haircut Ive EVER had. She did an incredible job and Ive already been recommending her to my friends and family. I will always entrust her with my hair in the future. Also, they are very honest too. She thought the tip I gave her was too much so she came outside to make sure I didnt make a mistake. I absolutely, 100% recommend this place. We are so lucky to have her business in our neighborhood and I am grateful!!

I have never been here before and wanted to try something different - which can be a risk for haircuts. I have long hair and I just wanted a trim and it was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Flor was very professional, and a lovely lady. She listened well to what I wanted and did a very good job.I will be back, I definately recommend this place!
