Came to this sports clips for the first time, checked in online and there was a bit of a wait, but oh well. The girl cut my hair a little shorter than what I wanted but it still turned out nice, just in time for the hot weather. I liked the fact that the girls were still wearing their masks. 👍🏼

I moved here from Lincoln in August, and had a great stylist there. Here at the Ashworth location, I have found Bre to be a joy to work with. Very friendly, and knowledgable, and remembers how you styled it the last time.

Very slow. Signed in, stated 25 minutes. 30 minutes later still stated 25 minutes. The staff would rather gab with each other, surf on their cell phone than to help the 4 people waiting for a haircut. This is the second time that I have walked out on them. Not going back, pathetic. Great concept, but they need staff that is willing to help customers.Update: Found a really good barber shop in Dexter Iowa, Simpsons Shear Shop. It is on the main drag through town. Costs me $18 for a haircut and beard trim. Family business that listens to what you want done, not just cut it their way like Sport Clips does. I think it is worth the drive.

The lady that did my haircut did a terrible job and did not do anything at all of what u told her and what the picture said. I will not go back. They can only do simple haircuts and most of the time they can’t even get that right.

Not impressed with this location. Showed them a photo of what I wanted. Simple medium fade. I’ve had more hair left on my head from haircuts in basic training. Wowza. Hope my hair grows back.

I will not go back. I have been going there for years. There are clear instructions on how to cut my hair. Even while further explaining it, the stylist did her own thing. It took over a week for people to stop asking me what happened. Too bad, really.

Costs a lot for a simple haircut. They should have a cost for a cut vs a style. My chair time is minutes. Others have to have all the special styles and are in the chair a lot longer.. so why do I pay the same?

I have been going to this Sports Clips ever since I moved to town, the price is reasonable. The place has TVs with sports playing on it. I like all the beautiful woman that work there too, they are friendly, and they do there job very well.

If I could give it 6 stars I would! Excellent service, professional staff, and a great atmosphere is just a few ways to describe this place. You are immediately greeted once you walk in, after signing in for a hair cut (online check in available) you can view the wait times on their next up board. Super friendly staff and I highly recommend the relaxing hair wash and scalp massage with hot towel!

The barber here put a patch in my hair. Said she worked on old men and women in her previous job as a barber so didnt know how to blend. Thats literally your job as a barber! You cant work on mens hair and not know how to fade! Fortunately the other barber there was able to fix my hair so it came out well. God bless her. Shes the reason they got a two star instead of one star review.

First visit to Sports Clips. Am impressed. Bre took very great care of me and my hair. Enjoyed the shampoo/massage, and the hot towel wrap. Bre was very personable and I had fun kidding with her. Think Ive found my place for haircuts from now on.
