Ive been to a couple Supercuts and they are all pretty decent. This location was my best experience thus far. Destiny did a great job. I got exactly what I asked for and she did not struggle with my thick, curly hair type. She also did a bangs trim for my girlfriend, making them more even and stylable. 10/10 would recommend.

Tanner is incredible!!! I came in with a horribly botched diy dye job (I looked like a gnarly tiger) and he somehow worked miracles and made me look like a sane person with natural sun-kissed amber hair!! I literally owe him so much 😂 All staff are hilarious and will make you feel right at home. Best quick walk-in hair salon Ive ever been to. Ill literally never go anywhere else. (My nasty before and lovely after included)

So I normally dont get my haircut at this location because we moved to the East Side. Since I was in the neighborhood and needed a haircut, I scheduled an appointment with the first available stylist. The person that did my hair was Tanner Joe. Ive gotten many haircuts in my life and could not tell you the name(s) of the numerous stylists. But I will remember and come back for Tanner. His attention to detail made my day. He was seeing things that I did not and really made it feel like I was with my personal stylist. Thanks Tanner!

Showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did not do anything like the picture. I guess that’s what I can expect from a $20 hair cut. Never going here again.

I have been having my hair cut there for more than 5 years I could pay more and maybe do better but I can make an appointment on short notice, everyone is professional and courteous. I recommended to a friend. He likes it too.

I went in for a copper balayage and could not be happier. Robert Reyna did an amazing job, he listened to the idea I had in mind and fully realized it without damaging my dark hair. I went to this location for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great and the place was very clean, organized and professional. Vanessa was my stylist/barber and she did a wonderful job and gave me a proper fade. I am picky about my hair and I would say this is one of the best cuts Ive gotten in awhile. I will go back and be a repeat customer! The prices are reasonable too.

Scheduled a 1 o’clock appt with a barber I had had before (she did a great job). Was going back for a cleanup before my wedding. I walk-in at just before 1 for my cut and was told it was an hour wait. I didn’t have a problem with that because I had some errands to run. I gave them my # so they could call me when the 3 people in front of were done. I didn’t get a call after 45 minutes, so I went back in to check in. The 3 people in front of me were long gone and she had already formed another 4-person wait in front of me. She told me it would be another 45 minute wait. Unfortunately, I won’t be back. The previous haircuts were great, but the service was disappointing.

Robert is awesome! I’m in love with my new hair color, and the cut is super cute. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on the color- it’s sooooo pretty. Plus he’s super friendly. Will definitely be going back to see him.

I love the service at the Fox Prairie location. Every time I’ve visited, I’ve left feeling beautiful. They take time to understand your needs and focus on you, making you feel like you’re the only person in the room. They are also super helpful and friendly and always have me laughing.Robert’s shampoos, cuts, and styles are out of this world and Tanner is a color expert and can magically turn my fine, limp hair into something wonderful.Can’t go wrong here!

Skip it, for sure. I told her I wanted a fade and a little more on top, I didnt even get that. I wanted a nice formal haircut, and now I look more like Im going to a small town barn dance. She asked me like 2 questions then just butchered it. Definitely not going back.

I’ve been going to the Fox Prairie Supercuts for over a year. My preferred stylist is Robert because of his attention to detail and outgoing and funny personality. He’s a great conversationalist and I always look forward to catching up with him. I’ve had my hair cut by the other stylists, as well, and they are all excellent, especially Lacey! I also take advantage of the Tuesday Kids Haircuts for $10. I have three children and this is a great deal, especially when I can book haircuts for my sons using the Supercuts app and avoid waiting. Robert, Lacey and Tanner have all cut my children’s hair. They offer affordable pricing, and they often run specials on products. If you’re near that part of West Des Moines you owe it to yourself to check out this location. I think you really get big chain store efficiency with privately owned salon attention!

I recently had the pleasure of having Tanner be my stylist at this location. I was blown away by the attention to detail that he gave my hair. I casually mentioned to him that a portion of my hair always annoyed me and that no other stylist had ever been able to get it to look right. He took this as a challenge and spent a considerable amount of time working at it to the point where he was cutting individual hairs! I was really pleased with the result, and I recommend both him and this location in general to anyone

I came in for a haircut and loved the experience I received. Tanner was my stylist and there wasnt a dull moment in the entirety of my visit. Also Robert and Lacey were working and made the time I spent here wonderful. Truly terrific staff that made a chore seem like a treat.

I got my haircut for the first time tonight at this store. My hair stylist Tanner was an amazing conversationalist and hairstylist. It was very busy and they told me I had to wait a half hour and Im glad I did. It was worth the wait. I would recommend checking this Supercuts out for yourself.

This location is always a great place to visit. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I cant speak personally for womens cuts, but Robert rocks it with my hair and beard! My son always walks out looking like a million bucks too. My go to place!

I had a haircut in mind a few days ago for my first pictures with my child, and I took the picture of what I wanted it to look like to a competitor salon. The woman that cut my hair was not on the same wavelength as me and cut my hair with only scissors when this was a cut meant to be done with a razor. In short, it was completely not what I wanted and I was pretty unhappy with it. Luckily, she left enough hair for me to have it fixed by the amazing people at the Fox Prairie Supercuts location, specifically the stylist Robert Reyna! He took great care of me and when I showed him the photos of the cut I desired, he immediately said he would be using a razor to blend out what the previous stylist had done, which was basically a bowl cut on the back of my head. The entire experience was a delight from beginning to end and I would highly recommend going to this salon for any kind of cut, color or hair service you need. They take care of the customer here! She really takes care of your grooming needs, never seems to rush and always cares about the way you look. I live on the southside of Des Moines and always head west to Supercuts for all of my hair care. I have always had great experience at the store, and today was no exception. My stylist today was Tanner and he is a very professional and kind person. Tanner actually thanked me for being in his chair. He was a lot of fun and did a great job with my hair, and eyebrow wax. Tanner was very thorough with my cut, and style. When it comes to my hair, I put my trust in the stylist and Tanner had no fear with free reign. He even suggested another cut to try on my next visit. While he was quieter than other stylists, he was in the zone and it was a comfortable time in the chair. For a person like me with less than stellar self esteem, I felt very valued and appreciated by both his skill and demeanor. Thank you Tanner.

Tanner does a great job! I came in with really overprocessed hair and wanted to preserve as much length as I could. He worked gently with my fragile ends, only took what he needed to and left me with fresh feeling hair. Highly recommend and will be back!

I received a hair cut from a Supercuts staff member at the S 50th location. When I got home I realized that the cut was uneven and did not appear symmetrical. I went back to Supercuts and Robert happened to be working. I told him about the issue and he immediately apologized on behalf of the other employee, and he brought me over to his chair. Robert carefully fixed the issue and I was charged nothing for the service. He has cut my hair numerous times, and I am always extremely happy with the result. I could not be more satisfied with the service I received at Supercuts from all staff, but Robert went the extra mile and I really appreciate that.

She is super nice, very professional, and has given me great styling suggestions. Shes the only one Ill let cut the hair of my 6 year old son and my 8 year old daughter. I visited Supercuts on 50th yesterday and had my haircut by Tanner Lathrop. I am very particular about my haircuts and I have to say that he went beyond exceeding my expectations. The fade was spot on, I wanted it cut shorter than finger length and he was able to achieve the perfect length, and he styled it at the end it and looked better than I could have asked for. I will without a doubt be returning because of Tanner Lathrop.

I had one of the stylist give me a haircut and it did not go well (poor interaction/results). I had come back for a correction. The staff was helpful in accommodating me, and the second stylist (Jesi) was wonderful and fixed my haircut! Will come back for Jesi!

The worst place ever. The manage is rude, unprofessional and is crazy. Shows up late all the time. Talks on the phone doing my hair cuts and smells. I cant believe super cuts would employe someone like her and make her a manager. I will never go back to this place and recommend no one does either. If you by change get Agnis, RUN.I was just contacted by another business that I left a good review about this specific review. I was asked to remove this as a favor to the owner. I asked why and was told their manager, the same one I have complained about ( AGNIS) is now harassing that business I left a good review for. I am sorry that my review has effected the owner of this salon but my view is, if supercuts knows their employee is harassing other businesses, why keep that employee there? Perhaps you have an employee that is causing your problems. Although asked, I will not be removing this review and the facts are that if your hair stylist is harassing other businesses that should be a wake up call to what kind of staff you want representing your company and speak loud and clear that how I was treated was also less than appropriate. Sorry.

If you need your eye brows waxed to perfection visit Erin Meis! I HATE getting my eye brows waxed and tweezed and she makes it a much less stressful for me. She waxes them without unnecessary strips. Erin also has colored my hair several times and always gives me the color I want. She is also very helpful when you are not sure what you want but you want a change. She works very well with children also. My son has lots of energy and does not like sitting still. She cut his hair at the age of one for the first time and he shed a few tears and she talked with him and he became happy and sat still for her. Very thankful for Erin Meis!
