Loved the space and relaxing music but the staff really needs to learn to do nails better and humble themselves .I had a Caucasian lady next to me repeatedly saying how she wants her nails filed straight and painted with nail polish meanwhile the nail tech was so graceful towards her expectations ... meanwhile I spent over $50 (gel manicure and pedicure)for someone who doesnt know how to do any nail designs and complains the whole time in Chinese dialect ?P.S the Pedicure was absolutely below average : Warm water, cheap liquid soap,and lotion, *no epsom salt for pedicure soak*With all that being said I tipped the ungrateful lady $6 and she has the nerve to gossip to the owner and look back at me ?!Nobody said thank you or see you or have a good day. This place is DISRESPECTFUL and ARROGANT.If you don’t believe my review, look at all the reviews that talk about the nail techs.Save you Money and RUN to a Real Salon

This was my first and last time going to this place. They charged me $51 for a gel refill. She told me it was $34 but because of gel it’s $51. How do you charge that much extra for gel? The whole time the nail tech was looking around not paying attention to me and not doing half of the services nail techs usually do. Everything was fast and rushed. I told her coffin shape and she gave me a narrow square shape and didn’t ask me if I liked the length shape or color. At the end she stood up with her hand out for my card and asked if I wanted a tip on the card. I told her $6 but she charged me $8. I’ve never paid so much for a fill in my life and never hated my nails as bad as I do. I got them done yesterday and they are already chipping. I will not be going back

Yo-yo needs an attitude adjustment and is the sole reason i will not be returning. Recently moved to the area looking for a new salon tried this place out. Yo yo was not friendly & when she cut one nail but filed the rest which left me uneven and asked her to cut them all, the manicure went down hill from there. Very abrasive & rude, had to fix the way one nail dried under the UV & after cuticle oiling/toweling/lotioning my one hand & realizing she had to fix the way one of the nails on my other hand dried she was too annoyed (for no apparent reason i was quiet the entire time) to lotion, towel or cuticle oil the other hand after fixing it. Half fast job ran by her own attitude, she should be re-trained on professionalism or let go because i was a potential new ongoing client who you lost immediately.

I mostly come here for the convenience. Its large, very clean and easy to do walk ins. Problem is, it feels so automated. Feel very rushed and because of that I am always having my cuticles cut and bleeding. I ask them to be gentle with two of my fingers because of arthritis and yet they always twist and squeeze to the point of pain. Usually leave noticing inside or edge of nail was not done well. Some are friendly, caring and do a good job. For the money we pay, it should be relaxing and enjoyable. Not a factory line.

Chapuseros. Theyre happy to take your money, but employees rush through EVERYTHING. Second visit and I am completely disappointed. Just left and because they were closing, instead of allowing me to dry for 5 stinking minutes, he applied dry drops (that I did not ask for), and refused to do a design on 2 nails (which I was going to pay extra for). Sloppy job all around- uneven French lines, streaky/textured polish- and I will NOT return. I guess since I wasnt getting UV gel + gel set/pedi and paying $200 like my first visit, I dont matter. I am a paying customer and I tip well, why do I deserve mediocre service? Also, to their employees, if youre not up to the task- DONT show up to work! Quit and do what you love.

Ive been coming here for the past 5 years. I always make an apt instead of just walking in. I only let Tina or Lilly do my nails. Both Tina and Lilly are great. They truly take there time and make sure you leave happy. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because the past couple of times Ive been there Ive noticed some of the other nail techs being disrespectful to there customers.

Rushed and overpriced, pedicure was about 10 min, barely even put lotion on my feet. Less than 12 hours later already chipped. Will never return

I like this salon its very clean and organized. Very Spacious so your not on top of the person next to you. They do a very nice job on my nails and pedi and the women are very friendly. Prices are decent and have many options or treatments to choose from.

Ive had good luck here with pedicures. Never with manicures. I dont do anything fancy. I have short nails and sometimes just want to treat myself to a professional polish. I have always feel like they want to just rush me because Im not getting an expensive gel, powder, lacquer, whatever. Yesterday was the worst. The nail technician Irene gouged my cuticles so bad, I made her stop. She barely apologized. Instead of relaxing treat, it felt like torture. I did not complain to management because I did not want to make a scene, but Im still suffering still today with a sore, bleeding finger.

I am from out-of-state and apparently we have higher sterilization and quality expectations in Illinois. The tools were obviously used and not sterilized, they had leftover gunk coated on them coming right out of the blister packs they put them in. They didnt soak my hands or remove the natural oils before doing my no chip gel manicure. I got this done last Friday 6/28 and by 7/4 I only had 4 nails left. The rest had peeled completely off and mostly all in one piece. I work in an office, not a job that would mess with my nails.The price was $28 for a no-chip, which is $10 less than my regular nail salon. However, it is still too high for the job they did.One star, do not recommend. Wish I could get my money back.

I don’t remember who did my services but this has to be hands down the WORST nail salon I have ever gone to. I got a manicure, pedicure, eyebrow and lip wax. My manicure was horrendous, I had to tell the girl to clean under my nails because she did not and she rolled her eyes and did it. Then for my pedicure she didn’t take my previous polish off all the way so I said something to her and she was hugging and puffing. Which one I wouldn’t care if the color I was choosing would just cover it but I was going from a true red to a pale pink. She then was working on my feet aggressively and would PUSH my foot back in the water. And grab my ankles so get my foot back. It just was uncomfortable and weird. So then we go to the back to do my waxing. She missed a bunch of hairs and I just didn’t want to be there anymore so I didn’t say anything. I did give her a good tip only because I’m in the beauty industry and I know how it feels but when I handed her her tip she did not even look at me OR say thank you she just took it. I will NEVER go here again.

This is the second interaction I’ve had that was negative. As a result, I will no longer go to this salon. Lisa is extremely rude. After giving her a standard tip for horrible service, she said “You’re very cheap” to me and my friend. We told her what a rude comment that was but I don’t think she cared much. Honestly, the setting is nice but some of the technicians are disrespectful.

I like it alot! I went here years ago with my cousin! And today I went and I got a pedicure. AND it was clean and nice inside!

They look really clean BUT they fake sterilize their instruments! They put the instruments in a sterilizing envelope but do not use an autoclave (the actual device to sterilize ) shame on you for your fake your cleanliness.

This is the only place I can consistently trust to do a forever French acrylic set that will last.. not to mention their Spa pedicures are out of this world.

Its really clean and tranquil here. They do an amazing job on my nails every time - No matter who I go to. Their specialty is UV gel and they do it really well. Definitely worth the price.

I am so fueled by disappointment that I have to write this post and share my awful experience. I usually go to G nails in Babylon but it was busy there so I decided to go to Aegean. Id been there once before and it was okay. They took me in right away and I asked for a gel powder manicure. I had Jenny. Jenny rushed through the manicure (which was $40. $5 more than I usually pay), was careless and did a sub-par job. She was so busy talking to other staff that she missed my nail with the nail grinder and was using it on my skin! 4 of my fingers were bloody and all she could say was sorry. No discount, no change in attitude, nail polish and blood all over the paper towels (oh and she didnt clean off the nail grinder after all of that!!). If I am able to post a picture I will. This was a half-assed job and sub par service for an overly expensive manicure.

I used to be a really big fan of this place and I recommended it to everyone at my job. Recently they have gotten very busy which is great, however Im now being rushed in & out of this place and the work shows. I cannot keep a full set that I had done here WITH GEL POLISH (which is supposed to make it last longer) for more than 6 daysIt is my 6th day with this set & one just fell off without me even noticing. Not only that but the set was poor at best, my index and thumb are lopsided and one thumbnail is HUGE compared to the other. I was just going to wait until I needed a fill to get them fixed somewhere else but they didnt even last that longIm done here, I have money remaining on a gift certificate and its not even worth using

Always wanted to try this place but was skeptical because of the Yelp reviews. I Loved it- clean place with professional, sweet staff. I was only going for a pedi and decided to get a mani too. Very relaxing/spa music. I recommend the special pedicure package which includes callus remover, a 10 min foot massage, and paraffin treatment for $30 or $35...I cant remember but it was worth it!

Great salon with a wonderful open setting and the staff keep it clean and comfortable. There is a lot of turnover between technicians but most of the staff is very well trained and professional. They are very friendly and welcoming. Recommended for a quick mani pedi.

Horrible money hungry place.. beautiful atmosphere clean but came in with a gift certificate and asked how much for the pedicure they said the full amount...When walking out picked up the menu and found out it was only 18.00!!! The service was horrible...didnt clean under the nails or the cuticles!!! They said for 2 dollars more i could get a 10 minute message!!! No back rub after...while the leg message sounded great, the worker did NOT use both hands!!! I can get a better pedicure for 16 dollars with the message and they remove calluses!!! They wanted an extra 10.00 for the calluse remover!!! Horrible, horrible people!!! I am in the beauty industry and would never let an employee get away with this!!! You treat everyone with courtesy and respect and do not rip people off!!! Disgraceful,disrespectful and unprofessional!!!

I called to see if they take walk- ins they said yes and I said I would be there in ten minutes. The place is nice. Large and appears clean. They rushed me through everything the woman kept huffing and puffing throughout my pedicure. They should have told me no and I would have saved my $40

Terrible. I gave this place another try and now I remember why I stopped going! Three of my acrylic nails chipped in my first week of having them on. Was not doing anything to even cause them to chip. Do not recommend at all!

The experience was so bad I had to write a review. I usually go to G nails but they were booked so I decided to come here. The girl who did my nails, Lisa, was so rude and aggressive. She kept sighing and making remarks when removing my powder gel. Then she rushed through everything, left my nails uneven, and cut me and left me bleeding on one of my fingers. They also charge $5 more for powder gel than my usual place and the manicure didn’t even compare.

Where do I begin? I’m truly not one to leave reviews. But I’m extremely disappointed with the service I’ve gotten the last 2 times I’ve gotten my nails and toes done here. When i got A pedicure, the man rushed all of it. I work On my feet all day..... so when i get A pedicure i would like it done right. But i let it go. Today I went for a simple fill in on my acrylic set. (Also not one to mention names, but I feel it’s needed because not all the staff is bad) lisa did my fill in today. I greeted her with a friendly “hello, how are you “. From the start RUDE! Tried to push me for an ENTIRE new set and then a gel polish. Trying to raise the bill. Look i get it. I’m a hair stylist. But there are ways to be nice and when a client says no you back off. Anyway. She proceeds to do my nails, keep in mind my nails are fairly long. Not long where i cant Make a fist but long. I left With nubs. The nail polish isnt smooth. 6 out of 10 of my nails are NOT strait. She kept throwing my hands around. Didn’t ask me how i wanted Them shapped. I went In with medium length coffin nails. I left With uneven, bad paint job, sloppy “square “ nails. I gave This nail salon 2 stars bc the salon it’s self is beautiful. I do Like the atmosphere. And when i came In i was greeted. But this woman ruined it all for me. I hope This helps someone avoid future disappointment

They did an awful job on my nails and were chipped within a few days when they shouldnt have been chipping and over charged me by $20. They’ll do anything in their power to scam you into paying more than you should. My pedicure was also very sloppy. Would not recommend this place!

I usually go here every 4 weeks for a pedi and in the summer every 2. I only get a special pedi which runs 35. I’m usually a good tiper however today I didn’t feel like the women did a good job at all. I left a 2 dollar tip and payed with my birthday certificate. PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOUR EMPLOYEE WENT PFFF 2 DOLLARS. Walked away and said only 2 dollars to I guess another employee. I didn’t have to tip at all. When I spoke to the “owner” all I got was a “sorry sorry”. After this experience I don’t know if I wanna return. I’ve been going here 2 1/2 years and all it takes is one bad experience. I’m not giving anything lower then 3 stars due to the fact most of the time the pedicures were okay.

Very open and clean, staff speaks better English than other salons.1- the tech did not use a primer or basecoat for my uv gel mani (this is gel polish 101) idk how they forgot that.2-the uv lamps sit on the table which i do not like due to its damaging effects on the eyes.Final thought, this place uses fancy decor to cover up the mediocre work its workers put out, and they have little regard for the safety of their clients.This spot is good for lacquer polish and other basic services.
