Katie is a therapist at this facility and she’s extremely professional and has helped me a great deal in a very short time. I had other therapists prior to her that, though they were great, they weren’t Katie great. If you are willing to do the work she will give you the tools. When I first went to Centerstone. I was not impressed with some of the ladies at the front desk until I met Jessica West. She’s a gem. The other ladies are nice, and they don’t treat you poorly or anything, but Jessica has a way of making you feel like a person and not a chart.

The therapists and other staff here have changed my life. I’ve had a couple therapists and a couple psychiatrists since I started, so be aware there can be turnover here, but everyone is so kind and caring that I didn’t mind much. Don’t be put off by the receptionists when you first start, they’re just a little blunt sometimes. I am so happy I found treatment. Thank you Springfield Centerstone!!

I have been going to the place on and off my entire life not because I choose to... a few mindful tips to be aware of areYou will more than likely see several different therapistThe staff majority of the time are rudeThe answering service are ridiculous and most of the time you wont get an appt unless its months out.as far as medicine goes they will shove whatever they can down your throat and get you out of there ..Good luck !

My son was going here ran out of his meds and found out his ins was cancelled so now they wont even agree to see him pro bono so he can get his meds. And his ins literally cancelled the day before he went back. Theyre willing to do his therapy pro bono but not his dr and meds. Legal drug dealers. His mood and ability to cope has dropped drastically. These people dont care for anything cor money.if michael murrey gets any worse im going to sue them. His ins does this just to try and avoid paying on time. And we already pay out of pocket for meds. He just had surgery and is disabled. But they cut him no slack. Money money money..

There are no words that could possible do this horrific establishment and providers justice. They do not listen to family or caregivers. I have a special needs uncle who is non verbal and who has been on the same meds and stable doses for some time. They still see him 4x/year. For what? To bill Medicare for a refill of something that is used only for chemical restraint? It is odd that my uncle was never on antipsychotics in the 30 years he lived with his mom until he was placed in a home for the special needs?Nevermind the black box warning for cardiovascular events, his ataxia, and parkinson like sx, lets just let an NP keep him on these antipsychotics based on her 15 min visit with him.

I have been going to Centerstone for 10 years now and the only reason is to get meds because I had no insurance. I have been up and down all they do is change my meds and say see you in 6 weeks or 2 months.Call if you need anything.I fight my battles inside my head on my own or try.I tried their counseling it was a joke and did not help me at all. What I need is meds that help and a really good counselor that actually cares.I now have insurance but am afraid of change.I know I need to cut ties with this place.I need to get some real help.I was put in the hospital through them.It was the most horrible experience of my life.It was like a prison.I could write a book on it.I have a mental Illness I wasnot surpose to be treated like a prisoner serving a sentence.

Worst place to go for true help. Andrea, NP will not wean off old meds, but likes to change everything up at the same time. I had to beg for weekly therapy. Marie didnt want to do that. Allowed my ex-husband to be seen by the same therapist and provider...conflict of interest. It took weeks of complaining to get a new appt. with a new therapist, which I ended up canceling. It caused too much mental anguish to continue care here. Every time I left this place I cried in my car in the parking lot.

One word - RUDE. Receptionist at the desk is short and unfriendly. She doesnt try to help accommodate in any way. I will be taking my uncle somewhere else. This place is not worth walking into.
