Horrible service! I called them and reserved a taxi to the airport at 6 am. 6 am and the taxi did not show up. I called the company and they said that all the taxis are booked and than there is no one available.Fortunately the concierge in my hotel ordered a cab and I was able to make it to the airport.Never again!

Horrible wait times with poor communication. There’s no way to differentiate when calling Transport DC (para-transit)which is frustrating and confusing for the elderly and disabled. Let’s not mention the rude, condescending staff that book reservations.

I was on my way to the airport and I forgot my passport. the operators understood my situation and was able to get the cabdriver to bring it to me in under an hour. I will be recommending this company to my friends and family

Shocked at the other reviews. I called on a Saturday morning(around 9:30) spoke with a very professional operator. She took down my information and before I could put my shoes on they called me to say taxi was on the way. Cabdriver was very helpful and polite, my whole ordeal was over before 10am. I will be calling again.

I am not even giving them a rating because they deserve a negative star...dont know what they were doing in the Baltimore, Owings Mills area being this is a DC Metro area cab company which could be the explanation of the Indian guy driving like a bat out of hell...failing to drive the speed limit and obeying traffic laws by Yielding or Stopping, almost hitting me!I dont want to even call because I am so pissed, and may cuss someone out....and I am Christian!

Okay, so I made a reservation for 4:25 am to be picked up. I even called the night before to confirm and they said they could pick me up at that time and at that location. We were heading to an airport, so we were very time restricted. At around 4:30 am, I call to see if anyone was on theit way. They tell me They are working on it.. When I asked to see if anyone left, the operator avoided the question. Thank you for ruining my morning travel plans, will never use again.

I just watched the driver of cab # A464 do a really nice job of helping an older fellow with a walker and mobility issues very gently and respectfully into his cab. It was wonderful to see.

Save yourself time, money and headache. Avoid these people. If I could give them no stars, I would.Pre-booked online day before the trip. Got confirmation email with name, number, airport and airline. No date. No time. Called dispatch. She repeated the correct info back to me and promised she’d “Tell our IT guys that our website is messed up.”4am the next morning, I’m standing outside in the rain. No cab. I call 20min later, tapping again on the number in the confirmation email. Dispatch first demands an account number, then insists I’ve called the wrong cab company. I call again. This time she tells me she found my reservation but that it’s not for another hour and it’s all my fault the cab is late because I didn’t provide a destination address and phone number. At this point I’m yelling at her. She agrees to send a cab “as soon as possible”.Fifteen minutes later a cab shows—a block away. I walk to him. I have to load my own bags.Avoid these shysters. They deserve to go out of business.

I took a ride with this company and the taxi was at the right time and their service was really nice and the driver was nice too.

Company swindles passengers. what cab company doesnt take debit cards? we took 2 cabs, one from union station and one from our hotel to capitol. on both occassions, after the ride we were informed cash only. then, conveniently, the second driver, didnt have enough change to give, so he got a 6 tip! plus, i think he drove us the long way so the fare would be higher. where are the yellow taxis?

Call the cab up a hour before I have to go right around the corner to take my kids to daycare at 8 because I have to have them there before 9am or the daycare will not accept them in after 9am and the cab never showed! no call no show at all! and this is after a dispatcher hung the phone up on me before I even placed a order....this is the worst service I ever received from a cab service ... and now that I think about it Washington DC has the worst service with everything not just cabs but for most services period .... I think I am going to end my lease and move out of DC all together ...I have had the worst experience with everything here smh so long DC

I pre-ordered a taxi for a specific time. When the cab didnt show, I called the company. The operator told me that they were searching for a cab because orders are processed based on availability. If that is the case I should have been told this at the time of the booking.30 minutes after my desired pick up time, I received a call from the company. They said a cab was available and wanted to know if I still required it. I had already called another taxi company, so I said that I didnt. However, before I finished my reply, the operator slammed the phone down in my ear.AVOID THIS COMPANY!! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Dispatch needs some serious training. Dont ever wait for them to call you like they say. Call them back if you havent gotten a call within 20 minutes because I waited 45 before calling back to find out that my pickup was removed. I never got a call in that time either. After I called back I got picked up within 15 minutes. Total wait time was over an hour. Standing outside in the cold n rain. Find a building to sit and wait if you call for a pickup from them. I actually started walking to find a building when I finally got the call. Lesson learned. If I had walked I wouldve got to where I was going faster. Terrible service. Not the cabbies fault. I still tipped well.

Any company that less than 4 stars is consider as bad, so take Uber or Lyft. not only they are cheaper, they are respectful toward their costumers

If I could rate zero stars I would. I agree with the other posts. DO NOT use this taxi company because the lady that answers the phone is rude and classless AND hung up on me (on purpose ) when I was trying to give hee the address that SHE asked me for. If this company values their company and their money, they would get rid of that rude immature worker immediately!!!!

Women on the phone were very rude and transferred me to someone else because I guess they were in a hurry. She said they would call in 15 minutes and Im sitting here 30 mins later no call no show. Worst service ever.

If it were possible to put 0 stars I would. I called the cab, they called back 10 mimutes later saying it was pulling up. 20 minutes after that it still hadnt shown up. 100% nope. Never again.

Worst service ever: ordered a cab the day before for a 6am pick in downtown DC. Can never came, none called to let me know that no can was available. When I called the operator was impolite and careless. Never again!

BEWARE: This service doesnt exist anymore. I submitted my online reservation and no taxi appeared. I called the telephone number giver and got another taxi company that had no awareness of Royal Taxi. We were stuck waiting for 2 hours. Should be zero stars.

Zero stars. Ordered a noon cab for a flight out of dulles. they called at 12:18 saying cab was 7 min away. I kept calling for an update, to hear them say cab is 3 min away. I had to scramble and find another ride to airport so I didnt miss flight. Cab called me at 12:40 saying they were in front of my house, 40 min late!!????? who can operate a business like this? they didnt care, and just said sorry mam, our service is subject to cab availability dont support this company!!

The service is horrible, my dad is in a wheelchair and we have been waiting since 2:00 pm for a ride its 3:40 basically 4:00 . If theyre gonna be this slow they should just stop altogether.
