I always have the best experiences while getting all of my hair services at Ferro Salon! My hair color has never looked better. The stylist that I had took the time to listen to what I wanted to achieve and delivered. I love that I can find all the products that keep my blonde hair looking so bright and fresh looking too. And I appreciate all their attention to detail that makes the salon so wonderful.

If you have long blonde thick hair and looking for a balayage, highlights, gloss, cut, this is the salon for you. They are named #1 in DC 2021 for a reason. Marco, the salon owner, is amazing with blonde hair. I have only ever gone to this salon in DC and always will. If you think the prices are high, that is what quality over quantity is worth. Impeccable work, truly. Just stop and go here. Plus they also give you a lovely experience, are kind, truly try to help you, squeeze you in if they can, etc. Just all around wonderful.

I had the worst experience with Wesley. I went in for a consult few weeks ago and he was all nice. I asked them to give me the proce of root color, hair cut and style and he said style was part of the service. I booked the appointment and went in today. He was busy with a different customer the whole time. Didn’t talk to me about the haircolor. Started 30 mins late although he knew I was in rush. Gave me a really bad blow dry and finally they added haircut to the bill although he didn’t do any haircut when I told them, he took off the haircut and added the blow dry which supposed to be part of the service. Stay away from Wesley and this salon.

The hair styling gods shown down upon me when they let me get an appointment here same day. I absolutely needed some hair help and boy did I get it. Jeremey was PHENOMENAL and the women that were front of house were also so incredibly nice and efficient and welcoming. The entire experience from booking through sitting through hair treatment through checking out and booking a future appointment (which I did on the spot and usually NEVER do) was pleasurable. I’m so glad I found this place and will definitely continue coming here for as long as I live in DC!!

Always a great experience at Ferro! Marco works magic with my hair, and Erin and her team make me feel so welcome. It’s hard to get blonde really right (not brassy or ashy) *and* maintain the health of my hair, but Marco always delivers on great color that doesn’t leave my hair looking frizzy or damaged. His cuts grow out really nicely, so my hair still looks great a month later. I also appreciate that he’ll take the time to show me how he curls/irons it so that I can practice at home. The salon itself has a friendly and professional vibe.

I must say it was not until I was serviced by Wesley Dews that I thought I had experienced great hair care - Not At All. The service provided by Wesley was a total experience, a top notch service Period. Not only was he attentive but really took the time to explain the process of my hair color correction service and recommended products truely suit my thin curly hair. Poor experience after keratin treatment. I had asked opinion from Alex about hair strengthening and he recommended keratin. He initially said hair cut is included but then he charged me 110$ for just hair trim. Final bill was 490$. After my first wash, my hair was really dry and frizzy. I went to show him my hair after first wash. He refused to recognize me. Wasted my money. So disappointed.

Fantastic experience. Great service, great quality of color, cut and blow-dry. Wonderful hair washing station with Dora who is fantastic - you get a head and neck massage with every wash. Jeremey did a phenomenal job at consulting with me as well - he informed me the best way for me to achieve a lighter color without damaging my hair. Erin who co-owns Ferro is warm, welcoming and helpful with selecting products as well. The space is beautiful, clean and modern. Five Stars!!

Stefan is the BEST. He completely understands how ones hair should fall and is such an artist, but he also listens to what I want, and never takes too much off.

I requested to book with Marco. I was told he only takes select clients. I was informed he recommended I book with Adem. I asked the front desk staff why he had been recommended, as I did not see any reviews recommending him in Google or Yelp reviews (hes been at the salon for 2 years). I was told Marco recommend Adem, Because he can give you your inspo look.CUT: I showed Adem two photos of the same cut. What I got was completely different than what Id asked for. He had to redo it again, and again (a third time). It was closer to what I wanted by the third time, but much shorter than what Id asked for. When I got home, I noticed pieces of hair that were longer than the rest on each side. Both sides are uneven.COLOR: I love the color, but when I got home I still see the same grays I had before getting it colored. We specifically talked about the importance of covering my grays. This is not the quality of work I expected from a high-end salon or stylist. Goodbye, $263.00.UPDATE:When I communicated the above to Adem his response was: Sorry for the inconvenience but its because of the miscommunication. Hope to see you soon:):):).I responded:Adem, you tried to correct the cut twice. The correction shouldve looked great since you still had length to work with. Theres just no excuse for such a poor outcome, with strands that are longer and poke out from the cut. It is so uneven. In addition, my grays did not get covered despite the great choice of color. I will not be returning. Even at the worst salon in San Francisco, I never experienced any of this over 2 decades.I will not be returning.

I am so happy I found this salon in dc, after having my hair ruined by multiple salons this place was a LIFESAVER. Ever step of the process was efficient and enjoyable, and Sammie really listened to me when it came to my hair color and made me feel heard and taken care of, which is so important when you have had bad experiences at other salons. The women working at the front desk are also so kind and welcoming and the process was so seamless, from the consultation to my first booking, to the appointment and taking home products. I came in with orange, stripey, overprocessed chunky highlights and left with seamless blended ashy balayage that I will be able to transition to my goal blonde in the future. Cant wait to return - Thank you Ferro Salon :)

My blonde hair was over-processed when I came to him and he explained how he would fix it over time by using LESS color while still keeping the color bright. Wonderful salon! Very clean and thorough COVID precautions. I came here for the first time to get a haircut with Stephan and he did an amazing job. He was very experienced and helped me figure out what would work best for the natural patterns of my hair. I have very long hair and he was careful to make sure he cut just the right amount of length. He also did a great job styling it. The shampoo service was terrific as well, and the lady (didn’t catch her name) was so gentle and washed my hair while giving a scalp massage. Highly recommend this salon!

Marco has been cutting my hair for about 8 years now and every time he outdoes himself with his care, attention, and creativity. I have dark, curly hair and I always have random people (in pre-Covid times) stop me on the street to compliment my haircuts through the years. I’m so excited that he has his own space now with an amazing business partner who is always a pleasure to interact with when I’m at the salon. The staff is always welcoming and the place has been great about adhering to a covid guidelines and safety. Could not recommend the place enough.

My boyfriend and his mom come here very frequently to get their hair done. This place is the best place for hair by far. Everybody is skilled and knowledgeable and has their own techniques to do exactly what you want. But for nails? Definitely disappointing. On October 18th, I came to this salon with my boyfriend and his mom and decided to get my nails done. How they were being done was something I’ve never seen before. I don’t know if it’s the salons technique or the nail technicians technique, but it was odd. My nails turned out well, maybe 8.5 out of 10. I really liked them, but they weren’t anything that blew me out of the water. About 5 days later, my nails began to bend and had spaces between the actual nail and acrylic. This shouldn’t happen. The next day, A NAIL FELL OFF. I cannot believe the poor quality of these nails, especially for the price I paid - ALMOST $200. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be back for my nails.

Another fabulous experience at Ferro Salon. Marcos eye for style and color is unmatched! My hair color stays for a long time and the cut seems to last forever. The Ferro team made me feel safe too, all wearing masks, taking temperature, etc. I was a little wary before I entered but was put at ease right from the start.

Marco, as always, does an amazing job with hair color highlights. I get so many great compliments for how my hair looks after every time I visit him at the salon. Fantastic salon! From the moment I walk in I feel welcomed and taken care of. The massages during hair washing are amazing! Marco knows exactly what my hair needs and how to make me look naturally beautiful & works well with my curly hair. My style lasts for months too, which is perfect for someone that wants a beautiful, but low maintainable look.

Ferro Salon is my favorite salon in DC, and specifically Ruth Harper is the best! I’ve been going to her for cut/balayage/highlights for several years and I always leave absolutely loving my hair. She’s an expert and so good at knowing exactly the vibe you’re going for. I’d highly recommend you check her out!

It was my first time getting a massage and it was excellent. I had a lot of tension in my neck and I feel so much better. Very nice and clean salon. Extremely satisfied and would recommend everyone to try out a massage here if you never had one or if you were unsure of where to go. Top quality.

This was my first visit to Ferro and I will not go anywhere else now. Everybody was very friendly and really cared that I was happy with my hair. When I walked in I had grown out shapeless hair with faded color and I left with a beautiful cut and color. I showed Stephan a few photos of cuts I liked and he took it from there and gave me an amazing cut. During the process he asked me questions and made sure that I was happy with it. Adem colored my hair and blended my roots into my grown out color seamlessly. I’m trying to grow my natural color out and he gave me a gorgeous natural color that will look good as I continue to grow out my natural color. Both Stephan and Adem were so confident (and they should be!) that I didn’t once feel nervous about if I would like the results. I also wanted to mention Dora who shampooed and rinsed my hair at least 4 times between the cut and color process and she was so pleasant. Thank you all for such a great experience and giving new life to my hair! I’ll definitely be back 🙂

I always have a fantastic experience here. The whole team is courteous and keeps everything neat and clean. It’s obvious that special care and attention went into their reopening. Hand sanitizer and extra masks are available and there are large dividers up between all stations. I’m impressed with their sanitation procedures and customer service during this tough time. Personal text messages and instructions leave no room for doubt about what is expected of everyone once you’re on-site. I’ve been a client of Jeremey Paul for 8 years and I have never had a cut that left me feeling anything less than stellar about myself. I highly recommend getting a cut or color from him.

I’ve been seeing Jeremey for around 8 years. He’s recently joined the team at Ferro. As always he did a great job. He always listens to what I want and provides constructive ideas. He’s an outstanding stylist. I also thought the other staff were professional and friendly. The salon itself is a nice facility and conveniently located near the two Farragut stations.

I came in as a hair model to see Andrea and she gave me a gorgeous balayage I’ve been gushing over. Marco’s team is amazing and Andrea took her time to make sure every detail was perfect and took the time to get to know my hair (I swim in a pool a lot) and treat my hair so delicately! I left with my hair feeling healthy and looking beautiful, without that fried, over-processed feel. The colors had great dimension and tone. I had very dark hair and was nervous about adding blonde, but she faded the color and shadow so flawlessly! So in love!

None of the petty drama you see at other salons. Danny is an excellent, very experienced hair stylist. He knew how to adapt the look I wanted to my particular hair texture. I will definitely be back! WOW! I took a visit to Ferro salon last week for a foilayage with Marco! I was recommended to him as it was my first time there. The staff on the phone was extremely friendly and attentive on what I needed done. They recommended Marco because of his expertise in highlighting and foilayage. I was nervous but extremely excited to come in and boy was I not let down! The service from beginning to end was outstanding and Marco is one of the most amazing stylists I’ve come across! It’s hard to find a good stylist who knows how to confidentially do exactly what you want and what makes you look your best, but Marco nailed it! I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life. I am beyond pleased with everything and will absolutely come back for my future appointments.

I had been having my hair cut by the same stylist for 10* years (he returned to France). So this was my first cut post-Benjamin. Fujan is amazing! I went to her for a partial balayage and trim on Saturday and absolutely love what shes done. Because of my curl pattern I cannot trust just anyone to style or cut my hair but she is consistent and takes her time in making sure her work is pristine. Ill be back again soon!

Received the worst haircut. I had hair that was one length just past my shoulders. The haircut was simple. Just bring is up an inch and add in soft layers. I thought theres no way anyone could mess this up...... To my astonishment he did. I ended up with a Carol Brady hairstyle. Short blocky layers up top and a long bottom layer. Now I have to painfully grow it out. Hopefully my hair will be long enough for my friends wedding.The hairstylist (if thats what you could even call him) reeked of cigarettes and was late. Unfortunately I dont remember his name. Ill never be back.

Fujan rescued me! Two days after my wedding I made the rash decision of dying my hair brown at another studio. I hated it, and Fujan brought me back to blonde. It was my third time getting my hair dyed in a month, and she took *utmost* care to avoid unnecessary damage. I have never seen that level of attention to detail in a salon. It was my first time at Christophe Salon and with Fujan, and I will definitely be back. She saved me before my honeymoon!!
