Before I moved out of the area, I toured the Woodley with Kelsey and was thoroughly impressed. Though the units are expensive, they are well-built with high quality finishes; likewise, the amenities are impressive and extensive. Its also obvious that a lot of care and effort is invested into building a positive community experience for residents. If youre looking for a new home in NW DC, definitely add the Woodley to your list!

The Woodley is without a doubt the most stunning building in DC. Unfortunately I did not end up renting here due to job relocation, but it was the top contender. From the warm & knowledgable leasing staff to the pristine cleanliness of the community, the building shines in all categories. Very impressive.

The staff at the Woodley took extraordinary care of my father while he was living there. He moved to the Woodley in the middle of the pandemic from the house where he had lived for more than 30 years. The move was incredibly hard on him, but the staff at the Woodley made him feel welcome and cared for. He valued his interactions with them immensely. They went above and beyond, and they made the transition so much less painful for him. I cant commend them enough. (It is also of course a beautiful property with extraordinary amenities!)

It was a joy to work with The Woodley team. I recently hosted an event with The Woodley where they treated their residents to fresh flowers. The team was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. It is obvious they care for their residents. The Woodley is absolutely stunning, the first thing I noticed was the impeccable landscaping. It is an oasis in the city. Beautiful apartment building in a beautiful part of the city. Not to mention it is walkable to a lot of great restaurants!

I moved to The Woodley in January when Windsor took over the property and have loved everything about my experience. The location is amazing, tucked in Woodley RD youre minutes from downtown DC and can also enjoy the peacefulness of Woodley park. Its also conveniently located steps away from rock creek park. I personally enjoy all the community spaces especially now during Covid! Some of my favorite places on the property are the private dog park, rooftop terrace with breath taking views, and the meditation garden. The Woodley offers everything you would want in a home!

I was recently at The Woodley, and Mr. Koppelman gave me a tour around the building, he was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the place as well as the many places to visit in DC (he is local) friendly, welcoming and smiling (noticeable even through the face masks) staff all around the building. The place itself is very beautiful and very luxurious! It even offers a huge garden with reflection pool and fountains, it’s like a small private paradise. Looking forward to be part of the resident event. Do yourself a favor and visit the place, you will be amazed.

It’s always a pleasure to work with the team at the Woodley. I’ve catered events for them and they are always so professional and timely. I recently catered a charity event for them and it was nothing short of amazing. The rooftop was the perfect place to set up a detailed charcuterie board and pass around appetizers, the views on the rooftop and landscaping were breathtaking and complemented the evening beautifully.

The Woodley is an extremely noisy building. Sound travels throughout. There are several residents who play music extremely loudly in the middle of the night, late at night and on weekends. There is little management does to stop the music. It is very bad. If one needs sleep to work or quiet for a family this is not the place for you. Also, the tenant above me ran the washing machine at 1:00 am during the week keeping me awake until 2:00 am on a work night. I could give many examples of egregious tenant behavior.I have met with management multiple times, called and emailed. The most they have done is to send a letter to the tenants asking them to refrain from playing such loud music. This is not going to stop the loud music if the tenants don’t cooperate and they don’t. I cannot recommend living here.

All I can say is this place deserves 5 stars in every aspect. It’s a rather large building but I’ve never once been disturbed by my neighbors. The ground are impeccable. It’s really incredible how much the owners must spend on landscaping each year. The Woodley is tucked away on Woodley Rd but also just a block away from the circulator bus and metro redline. The staff and leasing office are all just wonderful. They are so helpful and polite. Armelle, the concierge, for example always greets you with a smile and so helpful! Highly suggest this building. Best price value around. You won’t find a nicer building in DC (trust me I looked) :)

This past Saturday, my refrigerator was not cooling—the temperature was up to 57 degrees at 8 in the morning. After a few hours of thinking that the temp would go down, I called emergency services. And within 10 minutes of my call, Pierre called me and asked what was going on. He then came over to the apartment within about 30 minutes and fixed a drawer that was off-kilter. As always, he was prompt and friendly. After several hours of cooling, the temp wasn’t going down as much as I thought it should. So I called again to emergency services and Pierre called me back within a few minutes. He was reassuring about the time it was going to take for the refrigerator to cool down. And it did within another few hours. All is well. We are grateful for his skill and service.

The building is beautiful and residents so kind and friendly, but I cant recommend due to management. There was a flood summer of 2019. The correct procedures to remedy the flood were not used. They kept the same carpet in halls and decided to use drying machines. Of course, those dont cover every square inch they need to. Carpets were wet/damp for about a month! When residents tried to alert management, they denied they were damp. A new company took over management January 2020. Many residents were still having allergies who had been dealing with the previous management and they basically said too bad. Long term allergies cant deal with trial and errors over and over again due to the health concerns. Not accommodating overall. If you have allergies or care about mold, stay away!

I recently moved into The Woodley and I absolutely love the building so far. It is a luxury building and is well maintained as such - it is pristine and the units are gorgeous with high ceilings, lots of natural light, high-end appliances, and wood flooring. The amenities are clean and well kept. You have all the equipment you need in the gym, including Peloton bikes, and the large pool is a great place to cool off in the summer. The neighborhood is lovely as well. The building is tucked away in a residential area with gorgeous DC single homes so it is quiet, but just a two minute walk to the main road gives you access to tons of restaurants, cafes, and the metro stop. The management staff has been very helpful and timely as well. They ensured that my move-in went smoothly and had all the proper precautions set for COVID-19. If I needed anything, I called the office and they made sure to take care of me as soon as they could. There is an on-site maintenance team so issues that come up are taken care of quickly.I am thoroughly enjoying The Woodley and would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury building in DC.

The Woodely is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in. Aside from the outstanding management, if you are looking for a home that reminds you of times gone, that strives to provide you with a clean, healthy, beautiful, and warm atmosphere, with an exceptionally sophisticated staff, look no further! In particular, I wish to extol the virtues of Armelle at the Woodley who, in addition to her colleagues, has revived the excellence of the concierge post akin to the Four Seasons hotel brand. The Woodley was a pristine apartment building when it was managed by Bozzuto. In January of 2020 the building was sold and bought by Windsor Communities. After this sale, there was a significant decline of the Woodley community (even prior to COVID-19).(1) Jessica, manager, is not responsive to emails. She will flat out tell you she deleted your emails. You have to detail everything in writing because her communication skills are poor.(2) The entire Bozzuto cleaning/maintenance team was let go/fired. There is a distinct difference in the quality of work.(3) Emily, leasing office staff, posted personal videos while drinking in a bar that was live on the Woodleys instagram account. It was removed after a resident brought up concerns.(4) The social/community gatherings have significantly declined even prior to COVID-19.(5) Water, Coffee, Newspapers, and Magazines have been significantly reduced (even prior to COVID-19). Water limits have been placed in the gym.(6) Most of the Buzzuto residents moved out.(7) Landscaping/common areas maintenance have declined. COVID-19 cleanings are not consistently occurring as stated by management.(8)Nightly and weekend concierges - limited training, do not wear masks for COVID-19, and often park their vehicles in the circle (blocking emergency vehicles). They do not greet residents and are often missing when you attempt to go to the front desk. Keisha is the only remaining Buzzuto concierge left. She is kind, helpful, and greets residents.(9) Windsor Communities recently updated their lease policy. This includes not allowing residents to leave feedback/concerns on social media. Current residents were asked to remove all comments.(10) COVID-19 pool restrictions - not checking ID for resident swimming only. Guests are sneaking in.(11) Moving In/Out - check your reservation for the loading dock/elevator even on the day of your move.(12) Prior to the sale of the building, a tenant association was formed. This association continues to be maintained. Windsors communication has been to please these folks instead of taking a proactive approach to addressing concerns.(13) Check your fees upon movement out. Windsor makes several mistakes and does not have facts to why they occur.(14) Heather, upper management, and Jessica, manager, gave permission for a resident (who identifies as a blogger) to disclose a video of the security access (residents doorways) to social media. When confronted about resident safety, they refused to respond to written emails. For future residents, your money is better off at another luxury apartment building.

We had a great experience at the Woodley. We live in Adams Morgan and moved my 86-year-old mother to the Woodley for five months. She lives independently in Chicago but when close family on whom she relies moved away for an extended period of time, I brought her to DC for the winter. The Woodley was perfect! She sat in the beautiful library and living room areas every day to read the newspaper and books, through a cold, dark winter, used the gym with her weekly trainer, and enjoyed a cappuccino on most days! The apartment was comfortable and lovely. All of that was great, but honestly, none of it would matter if the staff wasn’t so extra-special thoughtful. The staff at the Concierge desk, maintenance staff, and Harry Murphine were so helpful to her and to me with every single thing she needed. I couldn’t be with her every day, but the staff of the Woodley made me confident that she had people to talk to and ask for help when she needed it! I’m only sorry that my mom, who still LOVES to swim, missed pool season!Laura F.

Well run and nice building with good amenities. Concierge folks are particularly nice and helpful. Two things we wished we knew before moving in were:a) LOTS of dogs in the building I like dogs so it was ok. But the place is pet-crazy. Only issue with them was a bad odor in the north side hall on the ground floor from elevator to front door. Somehow had a smelly dog smell there. They really worked hard to eliminate the smell but never got 100% of it outb) Neighborhood restaurants along Connecticut are not very good. (But Dukes burgers are great).
