Byron and Sam (Community Manager & Leasing Manager) were both great to work with. Sam responded to my inquiry immediately when I asked about their sister property, the Mission and although nothing was available in the mission, he sent along a floor plan in the Elysium that was available. We set up a virtual tour through facetime within the next hour and I had applied online the day after that. Byron and Sam were incredibly prompt and communicative throughout the entire process, called me multiple times and answered every question I had to make sure we were on the same page. I have not moved in yet, but am incredibly pleased with the service Ive received so far.

Elysium has been home for the past two years and it has been a wonderful home to me. Management, especially Byron, is quick to address any of my needs or questions. They have done exceptionally well with staying up to date with COVID-19 pre-cautions. Additionally, the staff is incredible. Especially, Anthony, the gentleman who has started working the night shift at the front desk in recent months. He is one of the most consistently cheerful persons I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even when I come home from a rough day of work and think I dont want to interact with anyone, his warm greeting makes me feel a little bit better. He makes me feel safe, welcomed and at home. I look forward to coming home to see him and catch up with him each day. I just wanted to pass along my gratitude on such a great addition to the Elysium community and my thanks for making my time here wonderful.

This was a great find. The building is incredibly well run. Byron - the Community Manager - does a great job at making sure everything runs smoothly. The positive vibe and efforts to address whatever issues or concerns you raise are obvious and refreshing Super dog friendly. The apartments are also really light, clean and airy, and the small terrace was a nice addition to come home to.

Elysium team members are remarkably helpful, kind, and thoughtful. The building is gorgeous and clean. Additionally, the team respects COVID protocols and make sure to remain distanced and masked while showing apartments. Team will work with you to find your dream home within budget. And be as flexible as possible to accommodate need.And most importantly: communication is friendly and quick. If you have a question, a team member will return your call or email within minutes, which is so impressive.

Sam helped us out today and was so knowledgeable, friendly, and enjoyable to work with. We had the best experience and cannot recommend this building/ management enough! Sam was there to answer all of our questions and our tour here really stood above the rest. Would give him 6 stars if I could!

Went on an apartment tour here a few weeks ago. The staff (I think Sam took me on my tour) was super friendly and welcoming. It ended up not being right for me, but if you want a nice apartment in a bustling part of DC this is for you.

We moved here from Portland, OR site unseen and we couldnt be happier. After virtually touring other apartments, Elysium was just the best in regards of location, floor plan, pet friendliness, amenities, etc. The community here is so welcoming, especially since I was new to the city, it was wonderful being able to meet our neighbors and even set up dog playdates. Sam and Anthony, and Byron are the backbone of this community. They are always friendly and go out of their way to help the residents. I remember one late night, Anthony helped my friend flag down her lyft and even escorted her to the car to make sure she got to her car safely. I highly recommend this place and if youre new to the city with a pet, this place is the best!

Great experience all around! Sam was quick to get back to me regarding my rental inquiry and touring with him was great! The building in beautifully maintained and charming. I highly recommend taking a tour!

I was looking for an apartment on 14th Street and Elysium is by far the winner. Throughout the entire process Byron and Sam were very helpful and quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. I had overlapping leases and they made it so effortless and easy. Not only were they helpful, but they are super friendly! I highly recommend the building to anyone looking for a new apartment in the area!

From touring the building to finalizing my move-in date, the team, especially Sam, has been extremely attentive and responsive. Can’t wait to call Elysium home!

I relocated to DC from upstate NY during the pandemic, and was really nervous about the move, but the team at Elysium Fourteen has been amazing and I am so happy to call this place home! The building is beautiful and spotless, apartments are bright and modern, and Byron and the rest of the staff are so warm and welcoming. And you seriously cant beat the location. Very happy to call this place home!

The leasing agent, Sam, is so wonderful! This was my favorite apartment to tour on 14th St. I havent lived in this property, but it is beautiful and at a great location.

Since moving, weve had a great experience at Elysium Fourteen! Our apartment is beautiful and was in excellent condition when we moved in. The maintenance manager has been super responsive to our minor maintenance requests, and the property manager Byron Tonic was very kind and helpful when sorting out our administrative needs. All of the front desk staff are extremely welcoming. You also cant beat the location of the building - being right across the street from Trader Joes and down the block from the Metro makes everydayr life much easier.

By far the worst experience I have had in dealing with an apartment community. I don’t even know where to begin. I had applied for an apartment after calling the leasing agent, did a virtual tour, and decided to submit an application. The unit was available at the end of July. After finding out I got approved for the apartment AND SIGNED THE LEASE, I get a phone call from Elysium less than 3 weeks from my scheduled move in stating that the current residents decided not to move out and therefore voiding my lease telling me I am unable to move into this unit. This is after telling my current residence that I will be moving out and giving them my notice to vacate. Apparently giving notice here to vacate doesn’t mean anything to these people as they will twist their story in any way, thus screwing you over. They then offered another similar unit but at a different price. However, they were not willing to offer the same price after putting me through this nightmare. I strongly considered doing this as I was going to be homeless just a couple of weeks. After inquiring about that unit, they tell me the current resident wants to extend their rent for another month and could not guarantee this wouldn’t keep happening. Long story short, DO NOT MOVE HERE. They are shady people and will never tell you the truth until it is too late.

We want to thank the Elysium Fourteen team for all the support and goodwill this year. The cleaning team, the frontdesk team, the maintenance team and the manager have always been very friendly and have been willing to fix any problems and make us feel at home. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Cannot emphasize enough, PLEASE DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS APARTMENT. I was 2 weeks away from moving into my apartment ( we had signed our lease a month and a half earlier). I then get a call from a leasing agent, Rachel, saying “just a heads up, the current residents aren’t moving out so you can’t move in, sorry!”. First of all, a thoroughly unprofessional way to handle this information. They offered no solution to the problem until I then proposed that I could move into an EMPTY unit that was similar to the one I had signed a lease for. They said they would look into it but it would cost $1100 extra, and they were annoyed that I felt they should honor our previously agreed upon rent amount. Management seemed throughly unconcerned with this price difference. When I pressed them to honor our previously agreed on legal contract for this new unit, they left me waiting for two days and were incredibly hard to reach at this time. I literally had to call multiple times a day, all day, to get anyone to answer. Another leasing agent, Kiara refused to give us upper managements contact information and just kept saying she didn’t know what to do. At last I was told I could move into the similar unit for more money, however the unit was not actually empty as they had previously said, and instead I would have to move in over a month later.....may I remind you I was less than two weeks away from my move in date. The management acted as if this was a common occurrence and they should not be held remotely responsible. I had to repeatedly hound them to get any answers to this predicament and they acted bored and annoyed when I would call back when I failed to hear from them as promised. Overall, I am glad I don’t have to deal with this management long term and seriously caution anyone to try and deal with this incredibly incompetent, inattentive, and lazy staff. Clearly a legal agreement and signed lease means nothing to them. Save yourself the stress and move elsewhere.

Relocating from Florida and Elysium Fourteen is the winner! Killer location, large beautiful apartment and an AWESOME community manager, Byron. He is a pleasure to work with and made the entire experience positive.

Byron is the man! I was initially looking at several other buildings, when I randomly decided to pop into Elysium (it was on my way). I had not intended on living here, but after viewing the units and my experience with Byron, I was sold. I look forward to calling Elysium home. I am very grateful to have had Byron walk me through the process.

Our experience at Elysium Fourteen was an incredible one. We rented at a lot of locations but Elysium Fourteen was the best rental experience compared to all the other rental places we rented from. The Community Manager Mr. Byron Tonic was what also made our experience so incredible. When we needed something fixed he would respond immediately by fixing it that day or the next day. When we had minor issues, which was once in a while, Byron would respond to our emails and address the issues quickly. You dont get that kind of experience with other rental properties. He made us feel like he was only providing a service to us. That personal attention is priceless when living in a rental property. The fixtures are like no other rental property, the apartments are like new and the name brand Bosh appliances are high quality compared all the other places we rented. The windows are close to sound proof, considering that it is right on 14th and U Street. We never had a noise issue. We still have friends in the building and they recently told us that they now added smart lights and plan to do future upgrades to the apartments. We loved that we felt very safe, which is what we were looking for in a rental property. We had no rodent or water bug issues at all. The building is super clean. We loved the gatherings that we had at Elysium. The events helped bring the Elysium community together. The building is amazing and the location is perfect, so it was a smart investment for Bell Partners Inc. The building doesn’t have a lot of amenities but they worked out deals with local gyms and fitness studios to include Barre3 on 14th Street, which is an absolutely amazing studio, so thank you for allowing them to be a part of the Elysium 14th Street family. Thank you for leaving the flyer up in the elevator. Once you have experienced Byron Tonic’s community management services and the building you will instantly feel that you made the right choice to become a tenant and to be a part of the Elysium family and Bell Partners. We felt really lucky to have experienced the best building Community Manager Mr. Byron Tonic and to have found the Elysium building.Now that we are home owners in DC, we will never forget our experience there and we will continue to recommend the building to our friends.
