I went initially to get a pedi with gel polish which I was told 52$, in the middle of my walk in I asked to get a gel full set, which they told me was 50 $ ultimately to spend 107$. 4 of my “gel” nails broke within 1 hour of leaving the shop. I went back the next day for them to get fixed. Yep they fixed them by adding acrylic over my gel nails, told me it was my fault that they broke because my natural nails were too short, and went through 2 techs to get a job I paid for completed. They rushed BOTH times, even though I was told that they wouldn’t. And the pictures are attached for the “done over/re-do” job.They joked cause I came in the very next day after the initial appointment. 😂😂 “you not coming back tomorrow”Nah. I’m not. I won’t be back ever.Over priced priced, kinda professional, and yep! Nope…But you got my money… won’t happen anymore.Anyone know of black owned businesses?

Sue was absolutely incredible today. Definitely a good saleswoman too but in the best way possible. Her services were excellent and def worth the up sell. Came for a quick gel pedicure and left with a New Skin gel pedicure that she took her time with! Left a hefty tip as well because she went above and beyond to guarantee my satisfaction with her services!

I had an appointment somewhere else and they flaked. I called A-Q Nails, and they were able toTake me right away’. Very friendly, clean, and asked me every detail of how I wanted my full set and pedicure. The atmosphere was so lovely. The lady who did my pedicure was so gentle, neat and quick! The young man who did my full set made my nails exactly how I wanted! I showed him pictures, he exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be a returning customer!

My daughter and I stopped in last minute for two pedicures. Our toes, like many, are prone to ingrown and mine were given great attention while my daughters were not. It seemed like they were in a race to see who could finish first. There was zero massaging of our feet and very rough rubbing on our shin bone (very painful). My toes look amazing upon completion but the first thing you notice when looking at my daughters feet are that her two big toes have different length toe nails, noticeably different like maybe she forgot to cut one?!?! The salon was not busy, it was 4:30 on a Thursday so the rushing seemed unnecessary. The salon is very clean. They make you use hand sanitizer when you walk in the door, face masks required and then they require you to wash your hands before picking a polish (seems excessive but whatever). The nail technician wore her mask under her nose which defeats the purpose of the mandatory mask. While it was a completed pedicure process, it definitely was not a salon I would be going back to.

I rarely get my nails done so I relied on a friends recommendation to go see Mary at A-Q Nails. I got a dip manicure - first one ever. I like the result very much and feel like it was a nice pampering thing to do. I don’t think I’ll go often just because it’s not really my thing, but I do recommend them. It was easy to make an appointment, all staff were friendly and it seemed clean to me.It was certainly busy, but I did go at 2pm on a Saturday so I’m sure it’s peak time. Masks required.

I want to start off by saying that Angela is the only reason I’ve been giving this business my money. She is super nice and has done a wonderful job for the last 6 plus years that I’ve been seeing her. I went in today due to the polish on some of my nails weren’t dry before I left a few days previous and they peeled off. Kevin repainted them for me and he was the most rude and unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered at this establishment. He huffed and puffed the whole time he was repainting my nails like it was an inconvenience to him to be doing it. Then, before they were even dry, he swatted his hand and said “you can go”. If it wasn’t for Angela, I would never be going back here. He is bad for your business.

This place was exceptional… they were quick friendly and did a wonderful job. Thank you!! I don’t get pedicures or manicures often but I will definitely come back and visit again once I get another one.

I was visiting and wanted a new manicure set for vacation. Kevin was the one who did my new set of acrylics. He did not take his time and he rushed. It took 20 minuted. The design isn’t what I wanted. My nails are uneven and the opposite of what i wanted. I asked for a certain green and he just did the green he wanted. He pretty much just did what he wanted. When I asked him to cut my nails a little shorter (i don’t like them too long) he told me “no you don’t want them short.” I am super disappointed and going to get them fixed somewhere else. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Everyone was nice though.

I have just discovered this nail salon and am very pleased!! My gel manicure has not chipped or lifted (unlike the other salon I was going to) Very pleased!!

I paid $64 to get skin cut off during a manicure. She continuously kept touching the area even after telling her it hurt. Tools were not cleaned and the paper towel used to stop the bleeding was used throughout the manicure. Prices were raised without notification so ask before your services.I noticed that some technicians took disinfecing areas and tools more seriously than others. Do yourself a favor and go to the other side of the shopping center and get your nails done at WYNN NAIL BAR. Unfortunately, they were closed today and I could not go.

I come to them every two weeks for fill with Kevin and pedicure with gel polish. My mother also comes regularly for pedicures. I drive almost an hour to get there. So obviously they do a wonderful job! But I called on Sunday to get an appointment to get ONE nail repaired on Monday. They told me I didn’t need an appointment and to come it. I did that. And when I came in I was told I had to come back the next day. I had to work. I had tried to make an appointment to avoid this. They told me on the phone that I did NOT need an appointment. I left there with my nail not fixed and extremely disappointed. I cannot believe not only that a regular customer was treated like this but especially when I had tried the day before to make an appointment and was told I didn’t need one.

I use to go in to get my nails done but i moved and switched nail techs! They’re still great though and do some really brilliant designs! Went and got my lip waxed today without and appointment and they were super speedyas far as wait time goes.

I didn’t really get what I wanted. I showed my nail tech a picture of the shape I wanted and he said “no you want a coffin shape” “it’s sexy for your age. What you want is for old people” Then I said okay but can I do a short coffin and he said no. Then I said I wanted white for the color and he was like “why do you want white” . Seemed to be a bit mean and I ended up not getting what I came in for at all and the color is super messy

They cant seem to get it right. I always find issues with my nails, afterwards.

Loved this nail salon! Quick and easy to get in and get seated. The are perfectionist at what they do. I had Sarah and she was nothing short of amazing. I would definitely recommend. Its also very clean and sanitary.

I love A&Q. They are so nice and friendly when you enter their business. I always get a fill in with gel. It lasts me almost a month, because Im not a typically 2 week kind of woman. Thats just how GOOD they are! I always leave with my nails back to normal. With COVID, they are over the top clean and safely friendly. They check your temperature, sanitize, and make you wash your hands. I love that! Thank you A&Q for keeping everyone safe and happy.

A beautiful salon with excellent customer service and absolutely beautiful work! The decor inside was elegant and very calming! The hospitality they gave us was so warm and welcoming. We were just passing through on our way to Florida from NY and we are so glad we decided to stop here to help start our vacation off with some glam nails! I was extremely impressed and I’m very picky!Kim did an awesome job on my nails! I had a free beverage, the manicure was well worth it and they also give a shoulder massage. A-Q is very clean and classy. Also, very reasonable price for all you receive many salons charge much more and provide much less! Looking forward to going back. 5 stars!

My nail tech was absolutely wonderful. She was patient while I chose my colors and made sure I was satisfied with the finished product. Fixed something she wasnt happy with herself and then fixed one little thing I noticed without a single problem. And I was so shocked when I received a back rub while my hands were soaking. 10 out of 10 would reccomend. Will definitely be back.

I have been going to this location since I moved to Raleigh/Wake Forest. However the service and attitudes have been getting worse. On top of this the prices are increasing. Knoc is going to Oasis Nail and Spa. I am just going to switch because my services are not appreciated.

My original salon could not take me so I came here today. Hellen did my nails and they came out great! I got a dip powder. She was gentle and fast. She fixed my nail that had gotten messed up in the drying process and I am satisfied. I think I may be changing over after this experience!

New to the area & checked this place out in an attempt to find a new nail home. First experience wasn’t terrible, but there were communication issues with the staff & my sister received the wrong manicure service which she ended up paying more for. My nails were done decently enough, but not all my polish was removed so you could see the old color on some of my cuticles. And once my nail girl finished, she proceeded to kick her shoes off & CUT her toenails on the chair next to her. Umm...unprofessional and kinda gross!Second time was terrible!!! 4 of my nails picked completely off TWO days after I got them done. I get acrylic with gel polish on top and the polish literally came off while I was washing my hair in the shower. So I had to go get the 4 nails redone which the staff seemed super unhappy about (not sure why...I didn’t have an off the wall complaint and I was nice about it...even tipped the woman who fixed them). But now, my nails have chipped a week later. I understand wear & tear happens but I never had this issue at my salon previous to this. My nails lasted for like 3 weeks there (besides growth). I wouldn’t recommend this spot!! Search elsewhere.

I did a walk in on Tuesday before my vacation and I told the nail technician that my nails were for my birthday! She sung happy birthday!:) she also made sure that my nails were on point!! She kind of pressured me about getting gel polish but it was no problem! I got what I wanted! Also, the atmosphere was fun and relaxing ! Will visit again! It took two hours for acrylics but i think that she took her time so she wouldnt have anyone else, it was two hours before they closed! Overall good experience !

I have been going to the Nail Spa for almost 2.5 years. I have always had a great experience and its always better to make an appointment if you have a particular person that does your nails and feet just like you like them. I am greeted every time I walk in and they make you feel comfortable and relaxed and treat you like family. I will recommend A-Q Nail Spa to anybody. It won’t allow zero starts, the worst experience I’ve ever had. I took my mom and my daughter yesterday. In the time it took the technician to do my pedicure my mom got her manicure and pedicure finished along with my daughters manicure. I didn’t have any time to wait to receive my manicure. Bad decision I made was coming back today to try again. My go to salon Naomi’s nails was closed which is the only reason I didn’t go to them. Next time I will just wait until they’re open! I got burned and cut several times. I wanted tips but he told me no that I should do my real nail. I honestly didn’t have enough time to argue so I said okay after being pressured. I love getting dip powder but they had such a small selection and not the color I wanted, just overall disappointed. Over priced for the service you receive. I learned my lesson don’t cheat on your nail salon, it’s not worth it!

I have been going to this nail salon for about 5 years. Whether Im getting a fill, pedicure or wax, they are always very attentive and positive. They make you feel valued and do a great job consistently. Due to theyre extra level of protection, Ive never had to worry about cleanliness or getting some sort of fungus.
