Masks required staff helpful and facility clean by Covid 19 measures good workout not too busy will be there 3 to 4 times a week while here and Hydro massage chair was a great way to sooth after workout for Black card members Highly recommended way to stay in shape during these times

The staff members were thorough and informed. They explained the machines, rotation, and covid practices.

Although publicly planet fitness is known to be a slightly strange gym so to say. My experience at this one has been good, the workers do not enforce the ridiculous lunk alarm and its a friendly fun place to workout!

This message is for the franchise owner: there is no governors order to close the showers. Ive been to locations all over New Mexico. Im currently in the Anytime Fitness 5 minutes away with showers open.Youve got dozens of maskless people breathing heavy in a confined space, but a shower is dangerous? Its been almost a year since learning covid is not passed via surfaces. Why dont you put politics aside and follow the science.

There is no upper management above the GM. Young employees are left unsupervised and not properly trained to run the store. With the pandemic I put my account on freeze in December. They were closing the gym again. Ive had surgery previous and Im expecting to have surgery again. I called at the beginning of February letting them know that I would need the account to remain froze. When I called in March to find out how much I owed, so that I can unfreeze my account. I was told $15. I said okay great. Im waiting to have another surgery and they want me in good health. So they needed a new card whenever I get up there. I had forgot that I change cards. Frustrating but no big deal. I go twice. The third day Im thinking of taking a break. I checked my bank account to make sure that everything was clear. They charged another $25 to my account. So I had a $15 transaction and a $25 transaction. I didnt receive a courtesy call any type of conversation about this when Ive gone to the gym. I wasnt sure the amount to get it started back up. The GM takes no responsibility for the lack of training of his employees. At no time did I get any more explanation or remorse. They could have dings my credit or overdrawn my account. This was a gift from my son. I called the customer service line. They tell me that the billing issue needs to be taken care of at store level with the GM. Now whether or not I owed the money if that was the charge that wasnt what I questioned. It was the ethic behind it. Theres no way I would leave my card information so that they could charge anytime they wanted. Since its an independent owner there is no one aver the GM to contact. Very poor business. Its like a scam business. Its hard for me to believe that a business as well known at Planet Fitness has absolutely no recourse for unsatisfied customers. I canceled my membership theres no way I could trust the company again. So its not so much the money the Integrity is at steak. And of course with the pandemic they werent supposed to be allowed to charge you those fees because of that. So they werent following that protocol anyways. Thats why i asked before i went with my card. Whatever the agreement was I was lied to I would have had the money right there instead no one told me they were taking additional amount out equal of being at theif! Shady business to say the least.

Extraordinarily crooked business. Claimed to have closed accounts and then later on would call demanding money for the “cancelled” membership. Essentially stealing well over $1,000. Avoid them. Go to any of the other gyms within Alamogordo.

Friendly Staff, good concept for covid 19 pandemic. Cant understand why the facility had to close for 2 weeks. I dont think that sick people go to the gym working out. Everyone in the gym has to were a mask at all times. Staff puts extra efforts in keeping exercise machines clean.

Horrible experience and their judgment free moto is a joke they are completely hypocrical with their rules and harassment over a mask slightly below my nose I couldnt breath and needed to catch my breath. They harass you and made no accommodations for my disability even though I showed the manager my concerns. Violation of Americans with Disabilities Act

Very disappoint that the showers were closed. Having nationwide access to a locker room and a shower was the only reason I chose the membership.

A Judgement Free Zone! Doesnt cater to body lifting or power lifting, but focuses on general fitness, as most members are first time users. Planet Fitness has created a comfortable, non- intimidating environment where members are able to work and employees are willing to help!

I have enjoyed working out at Planet Fitness. The facility is clean and staff are always kind. I have not used any person training or classes but all machines have been working and if one is out of order its been fixed in good time. I would recommend this gym.... it would be amazing if a sauna was installed ;)

Ill start by saying I am a fan of Planet Fitness, Ive been a member since 2017 and typically love the atmosphere and even though this PF doesnt have the equipment others Ive been to have it is a nice gym. That being said Ive been going to PF on 10th street since it opened as I was tired of driving back and forth to base to work out or waking up super early before work to work out on base. Jump roping is one of my primary forms of cardio and since Ive been coming to PF Ive always brought a jump rope with me to jump between sets. Today I was informed that jump roping isnt allowed because its not covered under the insurance which makes zero sense to me. Im there everyday and watch people swing kettle bells, do muscle ups, and stand on half bosu balls to do weighted squats. To me all of these exercises present more of a danger and risk of injury than jumping rope does so its confusing as well as a little odd that its not allowed, I thought this was a gym?

Probably not going to renew. Many times Ive been in, all employees are at the desk talking while the paper towels are out, the spray is out, and people are sitting on machines (texting, talking) instead of rotating through the machines for long periods of time. As a customer, I should have to track down an employee who acknowledges the issue and then continues their personal conversation...not great. I get that there is a lot of down time working here and I wouldnt have an issue if things like this were taken care of first. The saving grace is there are a 2 employees I see on a regular basis that are working (cleaning, checking equipment, towels, etc) and are really impressive; friendly, motivated, work ethic

Me and my husband Jeff are so grateful to have Planet Fitness in Alamogordo! The gym is immaculate, and we always see the staff cleaning, so no wonder! ☺️. We always feel welcome every time we walk in the door. They have great cardio machines, free weights, and a 30 minute circuit training room which is an added bonus. In addition to the awesome gym equipment, if you have a black card membership, you can use the massage chairs, aqua massage beds, tanning, or body enhancement. Its a great way to unwind after a hard workout. I cant say enough about this gym! Were very pleased. 😃👍👏

They did a great job with this gym. All new equipment. The 30 min circuit workout is great if you dont have a lot of time. Great deal for only $10 a month. Lockers, private showers, and changing areas. They also have massage chairs and tables and tanning beds.

The gym is nice and seems well maintained. The people who I met were very nice as well as helpful. However, what is up with these hours? I travel a good deal and generally work out before or after work which would be nearly impossible at this location. Apparently, I got lucky showing up when I had an afternoon available to work out. Maybe since Im from the East Coast, where just about all of the locations are open 24 hours, I just dont get it. It was very disappointing to pull up in the early evening ready to work out just to see the place closed up tight. I was so surprised I sat in the parking lot looking up the hours. My bank has longer operating hours than this location. Scratching my head a bit.

They said month by month but then when u cancel they charge u over 60 dlls trying to say is a year contract worst place ever just taking ur money. And the manager (thats what she said she was) had an attitude thats what make me rated them

As good as a gym can be during Covid times. They just need to get another bar and several more 45s for the leg press machine.

Newer gym with new equipment. The gym is a good size with well maintained work out equipment and kept very clean. The locker rooms are clean and spaces with lockers and showers. The staff is nice and the trainer seems like she has a passion for what she do. If you looking for a gym in the area I suggest checking it out.

PF should have come here a long time ago! I have more dealings with the evening staff because of when I come in but they all ROCK!! The place is always clean. My daughter and I are there so often its like the staff know us 😀

I love this gym with one exception... the air conditioning system sucks and there are not enough fans! It doesn’t matter what time of day you go it’s always hot AF. The “core” room/ area is the worst of all!! It is hotter than a black car left in the sun during summer!!!! 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵The staff is really nice but the new staff that have recently started, desperately need MORE training!!!! Other than that it’s a great gym!

I had canceled my membership back in November 2019 them today I check my account and they chat me again became with this place they like to take you money makes. I sense

The men’s restroom has had one sink and one toilet because the manager is too cheap and lazy to get it fixed for over 6 months. Then the gym wasn’t open this morning and when I asked why the employee hung up. Typical Alamogordo management, doesn’t care as long as their bank account is padded

Their employees are always welcoming, the equipment is clean and maintained and it is comfortable to work out at whatever pace you may set for yourself.

Iv been going to this gym for a few months and the staff have always harassed me about my gallon water jug. They say its in the contract I signed so I ask to see the contract and its not. So she points the definition on the wall of a lunk. And says its listed there that I cant have my gallon water jug. Bye bye $150 a month in pre-workout and protein products id purchase from the snack bar🤦‍♂️

Planet fitness has continued to attempt to charge me for a monthly subscription that I never received... Never got a verification email they cant even find me in their computer system when I try to cancel my membership but yet Im being charged multiple times every month...

Love this gym! Plenty of equipment so you literally never get bored. The hours are very convenient and I like that it is always staffed. And you cant beat the price...highly recommend!

Good has all the basics of a planet fitness. Its a smaller version of all the planet fitness Ive been to. Seems to be kept clean.

I enjoy working out here, I go to workout not to a fashion show, some comments are soo funny, but I guess people will complain for even a little butterfly passing by them. Its small compare to the ones back home at el paso, but still its good, its not like if its extremely packed. I always get to use the machines I need to use without waiting. Staff are top notch, always friendly and smiling 😀 love it!

Alamogordo Planet Fitness is way too strict. Yes theyre rules but other clubs are lenient which makes it more shirt is comfortable

Im so excited!!. Just joined. Love the trainor and 30 min classes they offer. Aqua bed is the best. Super clean and tons of equipment choices. Just trying to learn how to use them correctly.

Nice new location purchased a 7,800 sf property tore down more than half of it and remodeled to this location very small quaint has all basic amenities for such a basic space you feel like sardines there is more room around the front desk than the machines you use more than plenty of parking clean and kept up with good place to bring a work out partner you can be in close proximity with them all the time on the farm you send out the cattle on the conveyer belts for exercise thats the feeling you get in and out till the next time. Could of plained it out a lot better than what they did more eminitys and breathing room they have no lack of waisted space I tell you it is nice to get out though I would recommend but tell people to check it out first.

Gym is clean, workers are nice and helpful, members are respectful. Sayings on walls are cliche and corny, but funny. Lots of cardio, not a lot of everything else. Small, but quaint.

Staff is friendly and helpful, equipment is very nice. Great place to go work out and not have to worry about someone coming up to you and bug you.

I like planet fitness very clean, well maintained and organized. The planet fitness staff are very nice,helpful and well trained. The gym is great lots of great equipment for strength training and cardio. Ive had a very good experience at planet fitness I would definitely recommend this gym. One more thing I really like the planet fitness app for Android and iOS I like how planet fitness is up to date with technolog.

New equipment and nice ventilation...no horrible gym smells and nice big fans! Staff friendly. Treadmills and cardio equipment do not have individual viewing screens or workout interactives. TV screens at far end of gym...three or more on news channels. Several workouts ruined by people chatting loudly...heard while wearing noise cancelling headphones. May suggest a quiet workout area be added; no phone calls or loud conversations? No open area for ground work, such as firm rolling, stretching.

The Local Management here in Las Cruces is Absolutely Horrible. I joined through Facebook and Never even worked out once there before I realized they didn’t really have the kind of equipment I needed. They charged me $60 less than a week later to cancel. Crunch Fitness has great equipment and an Amazing Staff that there is willing to actually help you, instead of just take your money like the thieves across the street

You may be enthusiastic, buy gym clothes, bags and gadgets and record you activities in a notebook. You may be very courteous and polite during your visits to the gym. You may tell others about it and encourage them to join. You may have big plans to get in shape and stay in shape. You may encourage people on the Planet Fitness Facebook Members Page. You may encourage people at the gym in your heart as you do your best to get into great shape while trying to eat better and better. You may want to use the gym as a springboard to getting back on your feet to get at least a part time job and improve your life in other ways. You may appreciate the gym as much as others who appreciate it as if its treasure.It won’t matter at all to the manager and some members of his staff. Because they are “Dream Killers”.Here is how they do it.They will treat you a bit rudely to demoralize you a little every time you enter the gym.If that doesn’t work they manipulate you in a occult spiritual way that will turn your upbeat mood into an evil mood that doesn’t belong to you but has been cast upon you.It will leave you irritable and reactive without you noticing it… because you are minding your own business and focussing on working out. Not realizing that you are being subtly manipulated spiritually.But you will act more like they intend you to act to create a crack in your self image and reputation with the staff as witnesses and interactions with other gym members will not be as easy going as they should be.You catch yourself and wonder why but you remember you know whats going on in the spiritual.You are being demonically oppressed by the staff of a gym that promotes itself with the opportunity to have an incredibly positive gym experience and to be treated well by a friendly staff.As time passes they set you up more and more and give you oportunity to react to their abuse in an understandable way so they can cancel your gym membership for “policy violation” all the while apearing innocent.This gym manager is an occultist and at least certain of his employees are as well. If you don’t hit it off with occultists in general you will not be permitted to remain at this gym because they will harass you till you quit or create a situation you react to under manipulation and cancel your membership themselves.They do not like Christian type people and will Kill Your Dreams at this Gym.I’m assuming they will run this business into the ground by creating a very unpleasant environment and finally should go out of business. The PLANET FITNESS CODE OF ETHICS is just hype.It makes no sense at all.UpdateThere are no misunderstandings as the Owners response implied. If the owner cared at all they would contact me directly and not be so hands off. You dont care and key members of your staff dont care either.
