Quick and easy service. The mechanic was helpful and explained well all the information about the repair. I like that he was educational about it especially. Made me feel more comfortable instead of taken advantage of.

I have always admired the cleanliness of a place and it’s one of the reasons I continue to visit tirechoice. The location on Laskin is no different. In addition to the cleanliness, the customer service is on point. I was greeted by Taylor a little after the place has opened. I explained my concern and he immediately assured me it would be taken care of. I appreciated him walking me through everything from all that was wrong with my car to explaining the process and even going so far to explain terminology in ways that were easy to understand. He helped me every step of the way and gave me confidence that my car was in great hands!

I have used this location for many years because I felt I could trust them. That all changed last week, new ownership might be responsible. My pregnant wife dropped off the car for a state inspection to Mark. Mark called back after they performed their review. As they explained what was necessary to pass state inspection, Mark started by explaining both required services and recommended services without differentiating between them. The total service cost was well over $1,000.When I asked them to be clear about what was recommended and required, Mark backtracked and then quoted a significantly reduced $504 for three services. I told him I was going to shop around the work and call him back.I shopped the work. One location quoted $457, and another was under $300.While calling for quotes, Mark called me to share that he found some special coupons to reduce the cost by $50. I called back and told him I found another shop that would do all the work for about half of the price they quoted—this was a reputable chain and not a mom & pop mechanic that quoted me the lower rate.When I told him about the lower quote, he asked who quoted the much cheaper service. I told him they were across the street from him, and Mark responded with an arrogant, “Good luck.”After Tire Choice failed my car in its state inspection, I got in my car to take the vehicle to the other shop; Mark called me back and said that he doesn’t like losing business. His mechanic wasn’t doing anything, so he would be willing to meet the competition’s rate, even though he didn’t like doing that.I told him no, thank you.I took the car to the other chain auto shop, and they pleasantly ended up giving me a rate lower than they quoted over the phone.I took the car back to Tire Choice on Laskin at mid-day after correcting Tire Choice’s failed inspection items, and they stated that they weren’t able to get to the car until the next day. I looked into the auto shop and over half the bays were empty. We moved our child’s car seat over to the other vehicle, believing that we would be without our vehicle for the day.My pregnant wife went back into the shop and asked them if state law required prioritizing our car since it was for a state inspection. Mark said yes, that was true, but they were too busy to get to it today.The same day, 50 minutes later, they called us back and said it’s done and ready for pickup.Overall, I felt Mark was not forthright with information through our entire interaction, if not dishonest.I used this shop for years and loved it; I recommended it to many people, including family members. It may have just been Mark, who is the core of the problem.In any event, after we chose another company to perform the work with more satisfying results--I don’t believe I will be using their services again. I will now encourage everyone to tread-lightly when choosing Tire Choice on Laskin.

I scheduled an oil change on Dodge minivan for a specific time. When I got there I was told I was 3rd in line and needed to leave it for about 3-1/2 hours. About 2 hours later they called saying the oil change was done and they recommended replacing my air filter so I agreed. No quote was offered and I figured it would be an extra $20.I picked up my van and was shocked the air filter cost $65! Air filters for this van are available for less than $15. I was also disappointed by the dirty boot print left inside my vehicle. It looks like the mechanic stepped in oil then entered the van.

Waited on a oil change and tire rotation after they immediately got my car in the bay at my designated appointment time. Wait time was not too long and I couldnt help over hear Taylor effectively and professionally juggling multiple customer service issues at the same time. Pretty impressive.

I had a great overall experience with Tire Choice Auto. When I had come in for an oil change, I was welcomed by Taylor. Unfortunately, one of the employees suffered an injury and I was unable to get my oil change that day. Taylor was very apologetic and said that I could come back in 2 days to get the BEST type of oil change for FREE. Would recommend to anyone.

Was not blindsided by any additional service offerings and felt comfortable and secure under their care. They even replaced some of my fluids that were running low at no additional cost. I’d like to preface this review by saying, I am not one to write negative reviews, but this has to be said.A few weeks ago I got 4 new coopers tires from here. Fair pricing, I was satisfied. However, I noticed after my tires were changed, 3 of my tires would lose air pressure quickly. I would have to fill those 3 tires a couple times a week. after a couple weeks of this continuous nuisance, I went back to the tire shop for a diagnosis. It turns out that there was residue on the bead of the tire. The manager told me it would cost $175 to ‘clean the rims’. I was so perplexed as to how this was not done beforehand when I got 4 new tires a couple weeks prior. He was stumbling over his words and said “we didn’t know it was a problem then”. I had a long day at work, and was not in the mood to argue.I advise anyone to go elsewhere for your tires. It’s evident that the people who change tires at this shop, don’t do their best work. It’s also clear that management is more interesting in making money off of their employees mishaps, instead of doing what right for their customers.

Got a really good price on 4 tires and alignment, while i waited i had my daughter with me and i had to get on a zoom call conference and the girl at the counter gave my daughter crayons and paper to keep her quiet while i was on the conference which was a huge help! I wish i could say nice things about this place, but after revealing the price i paid for new brakes/rotors to a family member I realized that I was grossly overcharged. GROSSLY. I had my first VA State Inspection due since moving here and I heard mightmares of how wrong this could go depending upon the integrity of the inspector. Two friends recommended this location and they didnt let me down. Took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for inspection, already well aware that she was good to go. I was on vacation when my brakes started to grind. I was able to come in the next morning and was back on the road in a few hours. Rob explained everything they were going to do and suggested a few tuneups for when I got home. He was friendly to everyone who walked in and even helped entertain my kids while we waited!

This is the best shop in town, hands down!!! The staff is fun and most of all straight forward and honest. I have been to other Treat Quarters and have walked away feeling ripped off BUT not at this location. I have sent family and friends to them and everyone has been satisfied with their work. I’m not from the area and I had a tire emergency. I called this location and they got me right in. They called and said that my tire couldn’t be fixed and needed a new tire! Robert helped me and I got 4 tires for a very reasonable price and all within 2 hours! I highly recommend this location. They are amazing and super helpful! Robert is absolutely amazing!! His customer service was top notch!!!

This is another review of this location, but it has to be said they are a great place to take your car. I feel confident in the work that they do and that I am being treated fairly. Often I have been to other auto repair shops and feel that they make take advantage of me to make a buck (or a few hundred), but not Tread Quarters on Laskin. They offer recommended next steps and I appreciate that. They are honest, friendly, and hard-working. I appreciate all that they do for me and my car.

I went toTire Choice to get my tire patched because I ran over a nail. They were very busy and there was a bit of a mix up that made me have to wait much longer than expected but the customer service was great, staff was very nice and the manager made the situation right.

Rear right tire was slowing leaking. Im in Virginia for a family road trip and glad I found Tread Quarters online. I was able to call and make an appointment for same day. Staff is super friendly when I arrived. They were able to patch up the tire. Plenty of magazines and free WiFi to kill the time. I was in and out in less than an hour. So grateful to have found this place and I can drive back up to NYC with a peace of mind. I wish we had one in New York. Highly recommended.

Rob is an awesome guy. I really feel safe taking my car there and that I won’t be told I need something I really don’t need. I send all my coworkers and friends and family there. I had a flat tire I got air in my tire trying to make it to my favorite store to get it fix I realized I won’t not be able to make it there I pulled Into another tread quarters on Virginia Beach Blvd and ask them the help the guy ask if I was leaving it there I said it only a flat he said he had no one to get to it till closing the he ask if I was ever there before I told him I go to the Laskin Rd one he said we are not link and could not find me. Then I ask him if he have someone help to change my tire he said yes at closing. I had to call AAA to help me since they would not help me change my tire. Once I got my tire change I drove to my favorite Tread quarter we these guys were willing to help me with anything I needed. I can tell how much I appreciate those guys they are the best unlike that other tread quarters

Very fast and efficient service

Long time customer. They do the work properly and don’t try to sell you anything. They will tell you what work can wait and what work should be done immediately. I’ve had my oil changes and other work done there for two years now. Today I tried to get my state inspection. I was told the inspector was working on a vehicle and mine was next in line. 50 minutes later my car was still where I parked it. The man at the front desk gave excuses instead of information. Excuse 1: I only have one state inspector. Excuse 2: It takes 45 minutes to an hour to do it. Excuse 3: He is finishing up, this is the paperwork right here. I’m sure it will be soon that he will pull your car in.I got my keys back a left the business without getting the inspection done. I could not wait another hour.I was lied to. An inspection takes 20 to 30 minutes.My opinion has changed of this business from this morning’s interaction. Don’t lie to your customers. Don’t give excuses as to why the work isn’t being done.

Its the people working that make the business good or bad. The Laskin Road Treadquarters location is excellent. Two people that were particularly helpful and service oriented were Robert and Cameron. Ive used this location a few times now and they do the best to get you back on the road ASAP. Most places want you to drop of your vehicle, and then…Well call you when its done. This location made every effort to get me on the road faster than other auto services in the area. Thanks guys!

Ive been coming to this store for the last 15 years when it used to be Kramer tire. The employees are the same as they were many years ago. Sure, theyve got wonderful tires, but if you want EXCELLENT customer service (where they really know you) then you need to come to Tread Quarters on Laskin Road. I would N-E-V-E-R take my car anywhere else. Not only do I trust them, but I always feel like theyre working in my best interest. This is one of the few places that actually still believe excellent customer service. Thanks so much, guys!!

Visiting Virginia Beach for Spring Break. Got a flat tire (unfortunately) on the way down. Very scary. Called them in the morning and they got my car fixed which included a diagnosis of problems in 2 other tires that I had no idea about. They helped me, and let me decide the course of action, telling me what I needed while giving me the option to proceed as I wanted to (opposed to other places that are overly forceful about car repairs, esp. when I know little about cars). Great place and all of this done by the end of the afternoon.

Rob was very helpful explaining all the details of the work I needed to have done on my car. He helped me determine which service needed to be done first and was very nice helping me schedule the next services.

Rob was great to work with, as always! He listens to what one describes as the car problem without judgement. Then later on, gives good feedback as to what the Tech (CAM, in this latest case) found. Rob doesnt try to push extra services or repairs. And in this latest tire patch fail adventure, gave good advice and took care of the situation, thus taking good care of me, his customer!Only negative: my car inside has a cigarette/smoke smell that is a bit persistent. Taken care of by some essential oil spray.

Got a flat tire and took it in to Treadquarters first thing. Rob was excellent in walking me through the issue and my options. They were very up front with me about prices. I have been taking my vehicles to the Laskin Road Tread Quarters for years. I have ALWAYS received no less than excellent customer service and work.This particular visit was for my 2002 Suburban. The headlights had stop coming on. Bulbs were good.I dropped it off and Craig worked on until he figured it out and fixed them. I had previously ask GM Chevrolet if they had any idea as to why my headlights stopped working. They could not give me an answer. Craig did!!

Went here last minute when my tire practically exploded down the road. They were quick to help, get my car in the shop, and get me back on the road to enjoy my brother’s vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and built rapport on our short visit.

Ordered tires online and had them delivered to a different tread quarters location. That location was booked all day and wouldn’t have been able to get me in until the next day, so I grabbed my tires and called every treadquarters in the area. This one off Laskin Road, despite being very busy, was able to get me in the bay and got my tires mounted, balanced, and ready to roll within an hour or so. They were even able to match the online quote saving me at least 70$! Would definitely recommend this location.

Rob is really great. Everytime I bring my car here any repairs or changes are done in a jiffy. The staff is very courteous as well which is always a plus.
