Dominic and his team were very professional. I knew I needed a radiator but asked him to diagnose a rough idle. He communicated to me everything they found along with his recommendations and itemized prices for each part of the repair. Once we agreed on a path forward, the repairs were completed on the timeline promised and for the prices agreed to. Great experience! Very kind, friendly employees. Matt replaced the fuel sending unit on our Dodge Ram however we noticed the gas cap icon lit on the dashboard panel. We have taken our cars to this place for almost 10 years to get state inspection done and finally decided to do so no more. They will do anything and everything to fail you. Once they took advantage of my 17 yo daughter, telling her she needed new wipers on her 2 yo car. When I went back there they corrected the recommendation claiming an error in judgement. After many years avoiding this place we decided to take my 3 yo car being pressed for time (they are the closest to us). My wife and I joked that something will come up again, and sure enough, I need new wipers! Mind you I replaced them 5 months ago. Took the car to another place and passed the inspection immediately. Stay away from this place if you can, they take advantage of people.

In the past few months, we have had 3 of our vehicles serviced here. We can’t say enough about the quality of the work and the customer service. Definitely a trustworthy, dependable establishment. The owner, the mechanics and the receptionist are all friendly and helpful. The cleanliness inside is unbelievable. I’ve never been in such a clean gas station. We also love that we were able to pick up our car after hours from the gas station cashier, who was also very pleasant. Shipps Corner is on the other side of the city from us, but is definitely worth the trip!

This place is the only place I will take my vehicles to in Virginia Beach. They are honest, hard working, locally owned, and customer focused. I’ve never been to a shop that takes care of their customers the way they do. The work has always been completed on time or early. If you’re looking for an honest place to repair or help maintain your vehicle, this is it.

Shipps corner was a repair shop that I was referred to. Initially some things went wrong...but with time Dominic (the owner) was able to make it right. The staff was extremely friendly (Ashley) from beginning to end. I would refer this shop because they will make sure you are satisfied and that gives me a peace of mind.

I have been a customer before the name change. They still provide great service and work. I took my car in for an inspection, they offer first come first serve. They got it done 2 hours after I called.

A few weeks back my battery died. My older Buick houses the battery under the back seat. Due to COVID, I couldnt get anyone to test it for me, because it was inside my car. I called Shipps Corner 76 and Dom took care of me.I decided I needed to keep using them so I took my car there for inspection and oil change. Matt was super helpful and honest. I contacted Shipps Corner Service Center late Monday afternoon regarding the Air Conditioning in my daughter’s Ford Escape. They were able to fit me in Tuesday and by end of day Tuesday had the compressor replaced and the vehicle ready for pickup (thanks to the owner working an extended day in extreme heat). We picked up the car in time for my daughter to head back up to the Richmond area in the comfort of a cool vehicle on a very hot day!!All this for a very reasonable price, great attitude and frequent communication updates. I would certainly recommend Shipps Corner Service Center to anyone who asked !!

I went in for a vehicle inspection on a 2008 Dodge Caravan. The inspection was very thorough and although everything else passed, they did find that I had 2 broken engine mounts. They did a great job and would recommend them to anyone.

I have received nothing less than exceptional service for both of my cars. This is the highest quality professional service at an unbelievably fair price, that I have ever witnessed in my 60 years. Friendly, courteous, clean, experienced and quality service every time!

I was very impressed with my recent service! I dropped in to see if I could get a state inspection done in a timely fashion, because I had to work later in the day. I was told they could have it done in 3-4 hours. I left my car there and I was called within the time frame they said and I was able to get the oil changed as well(at their suggestion). The icing on the cake for me was when I got in my car the inspection certificate was on the seat with a handful of my favorite mints!😍 That put a huge smile on my face! Its the simple things in life that I appreciate most these days. Keep up the good work and I look forward to doing more business with you in the future!

I was number 50 of 76 on the day that this shop opened. I was able to get gas for $0.76 a gallon. While I was there I took advantage of a coupon to get an oil change for less than $20. The mechanic was fantastic and pulled me in to show me I had some brake issues. Unfortunately, due to my schedule that day I could not stay to have the brakes taken care of but I have you trust and if I lived in that area I would have taken care of it

They did a good job on my inspection, no surprises . I thought that I would need wiper blades, and thats what they found. They changed both blades at a good price. I am happy, good shop.

Ships Corner service center is the most reliable and trustworthy place that Ive ever been to. I would never take my car anywhere else. Ive been going to them for years and the whole team is absolutely amazing!

You can go elsewhere, but but why take the chance of being upcharged at these chain stores and dealerships. Take your car to the locals! You wont regret it.

Quick service compared to other by-appointment places. Prices are very good. That said, they need to pay attention to detail. Every car is not the same...the washer on my transmission fluid cap was not reusable. They didnt notice and i had transmission fluid leaking on my driveway until i took the car back in the next day. They fixed it quickly and for free and were friendly about it.

The first time I took my truck there was for a head gasket,I dont know if I got a good deal or not. The second time was for the catholic cavorted, I thought it was a little high. After it was repaired,I had a loud noise and when I called someone said it would go away, it didnt stop. I took it back to be fixed and it was not fixed, I went back and to see when it could be fixed,the owner was to busy to talk to me, asked to have him call me never happened. The next thing I heard from engine was a big problem, fueled was pouring out. Called the shop and they had it tolled there, and said it was the humgit bolt and I would need a engine,I could not get it. Talked to Toyota and was told that the bolt would not break unless it was to tied. So I took it to Toyota and they got the bolt out. The owner of shipsconer,called me for the 85 dollars for the toll,it took me a month or to get him all his money. When I was there I asked to see him, he was to busy and I asked to have him call me about the noise I have had from the last time I took my truck there. I have not been called, I would not tell anyone to go there.

I took my vehicle in to be inspected and the guys were very professional and knowledgeable of things that were wrong with my vehicle they repaired the problem on the spot and inspected the vehicle and passed the inspection. This is the first time that I have taken my car here for an inspection. They were very honest with me and had my car done in no time! I didn’t NEED new tires just yet, but decided to get them anyways so I wouldn’t have to worry about them later on down the road (just two tires). My entire car was ready within two hours of them calling me and giving me a little run down on my car. The lady at the counter was also very kind. I would highly recommend them!

Got my oil filter, quart refill on oil, and tire rotation for a good price altogether. I also had a used car inspection done on a car I just bought and they gave me a diagnosis for a check engine light that went on and an estimate on a repair. Suggested I take it back to the dealer and didnt charge me for the inspection which I am GREATLY thankful for. You have my business. This team is awesome and it shows they care for their customers.

Shipps corner service center did an excellent job on installing a new engine in my 1989 Ford Ranger truck. Dominick backs his work up and is very patient with his customers.
