Busy place around 12AM surprisingly. Place was pretty clean compared to other laundry mats Ive been to. It could use more big washers. Other then that it staying open 24 hrs. is awesome!

This laundry mat is amazingly clean. The owner AJ is so respectful and man he works hard, he continues to clean the place and I almost feel bad because he’s always picking up everyone’s mess, he greets people and is very professional. We live in apartments but our washers and dryers don’t work as well as the ones here. So we travel a minute down the road weekly to do laundry. We will def recommend this laundry mat to others! My dad started coming here as well. All I would like to say is please clean up your mess, it’s so unfortunate seeing the owner having to come in and out and clean everyone’s mess.. we picked up what we could and threw it away even when it wasn’t our mess to give this owner a little break. Amazing place!!!!!

This place is clean! The machines may look maybe a lil dated but dont be fooled, they work well. Fast and clean! The wife and I can hammer out about 10-12 loads in right about an hour! 3-4 load capacity washers & dryers! Get er DONE!

Don’t ever go there. Months ago someone stole my mom’s clothes out the dryer.

Its always super clean. They have really big washers to do comforters and big items or if you just want to try to get all your laundry done at once. You can grab something in the plaza while youre waiting.

Doing laundry when you work nights can be stressful especially if the Laundromat is sketchy or run down. But First Avenue Laundromat is a safe, clean, well maintained, and affordable all on top of being open 24 hours. Spoke with Mike the owners brother and he was a friendly and respectable guy. I’ve been looking awhile for a nice laundromat that’s open late do laundry with my wife and this place is excellent. This is a coin exchange laundromat. The regular washers are $2 I believe while the industrial washer I used was $3.75. The dryers are 25 cents for 7 minutes. The folding tables are clean and convenient. This is an excellent business👍

I dont get it. We go to a laundromat to clean clothes and the establishment is dirty.I refused to wash my clothes here. These establishments make enough money per day to make good upgrades.

Good place to get your laundry done especially for them night owls.

I went on a Wednesday to get the $1.25 top load wash, but I ended up spending the extra 25 cents to add 10 mins to my wash time. Dryers are 25 cents for 6 mins. The price ended up being the same if not just a tiny bit more than doing the loads at my apartment complex, but at least I didnt have to hope and pray that the machine wouldnt eat my money or instantly lock(for whatever dumb reason, my apartment complex has locking washers- such BS!!) I will definitely come here again to wash my blankets. The only reason I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 was the lack of a restroom.

I love that its open 24/7 my only issue is the type of ppl that hang around there. Very shady. When drying your clothes you gotta keep an eye on it cuz the homeless will open your dryer & take your clothes.

I’ve always had good experiences here, it’s never too busy, very clean, and feels safe— I have been able to leave my clothes washing or drying in the machine while I ran home or across the street to the grocery store without incident. I do recommend springing for the front load washers over the top loaders, the difference in how clean my clothes end up is definitely worth the extra couple bucks, in my opinion. This is my #1 go to for my laundry .ALWAYS open 24hoursGood washers (they work) .Good dryers (they work too)..Clean almost always unless someone who is there that is just carelessWhich I there 2or3 times a month every one pretty much cool and when busy every one seems to work with each other . check it out for yourself .I give 5 stars thanks

They have simple enforced,rules and everything works excellent.allsizes,machines,for any size clothing, etc,prices are decent, One power washer & totally dry,Ive done,as low as 7bucks,out the door and less than 1hour going back to the spot !! I met the people that work both shifts (24hr), and they gladly give direct attention to issues&help where due.,best Ive been seen in Tucson

Great place for late night clothes washing

Ive been to many laundromats within Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, and Catalina. So I feel like I can say with confidence that the First Avenue Laundromat is number one in my opinion, and for several reasons...one, machines all work well, my clothes actually come clean compared to other places where they dont...two, the dryers are hot....50¢ and clothes are done. Three, its always nice and clean and four...it is by far the most inexpensive very affordable laundromat compared to every where else I have been, and on Wednesday they have $1.25 washers which makes it even better. And last but not least there is an awesome owner who is very friendly and extremely patient as he walks around for a couple hours repeatedly cleaning up after your every load you transfer because you own seven dogs and you leave a horrible trail of dog hair behind you, and he remained very understanding about it, which was awesome and says a lot....overall I highly recommend this place for a good laundry experience...☺️

My favorite laundromat! This is the cleanest 24-hour laundromat Ive found. They have several large-capacity washers along with the standard top-loaders. They offer $1 washes on Wednesdays for top-loaders. The owner, AJ, is one of the nicest people youll ever meet.

Disappointed to say the least one of the worst customer service lady was very rude last load was at 11 we were there at 10:30 and she was complaining about how we needed to leave in hurry up with that laundry they close at 12 a.m. I will never take my laundry there ever again 20% of the machines do not work the coin machine does not give you coins theres no life to says its out of service it just takes your money for being open they should be shut down they have a bunch of homeless people running in and out of there and around the corner doing drugs and smoking drugs unsafe for families doing laundry I recommend you go somewhere else

I dont dislike it. However, often the people who are occuping the same enclosed small space, will not wear masks, or will smoke. Our washing machine broke down, so I am forced to undergo this process but I would not recommend it, and I never let my mother go. I may well add that the people who do go have invariably been kind. Still wish they would adhere to the rules and wear a freaking mask.

Bug Washers and Dryers a great place to do laundry anytime especially on Wednesday!

Good place to do a quick load or 2 cuz the biggest washers are triple-load but big dryers. They run on quuarters but there are 3 bill changers that take upto $20 bills and are allways working good.

Worst laundromat ever. Dryers are barely warm, much less hot. Prepare to s poi end a LOT of money and a long time.

I thought it was a good place to go because not a lot of cars there come to find out one lady had every machine in use and threw a fit when I took 2 machines to do my darks and my whites. I should not feel uncomfortable trying to do my laundry I wont be going back there. One positive thing is the place is very clean.

Great place to do laundry on Wednesday. $1.00 wash and dryers are .25 everyday. Go really early though cause its no secret anymore. Fills up fast. 4 am to 11 pm it is $1 wash. Wednesday only. It is open 24 hours a day though. The gentleman that manages it, goes in every single morning to clean it up. Its a super clean place, lots of lighting in case you go early in the AM or late in the Pm.

I am always able to wash and dry my clothes pretty quickly without having to wait for machines to be available to use... It Stays cleaner then most that I have seen and the a/c feels really good when its hot outside.

Washers went up a quarter on Wednesdays thats not bad but not all the washers were 125 some were 175 and I had to keep putting quarters in is that right ? Ill do a review next week to let u all know

All a good place to do Landry

This is the laundromat that I always go to. every time I have went its been clean theres been washers and dryers available its as a deal on Tuesdays or Wednesdays thats a pretty good perk. but overall its a pretty nice & convenient laundromat.

I do my laundry here once a month and its clean but a little boring.

Convenient if you have to do laundry after other laundromats are closed. Some of the dryers are hit-or-miss with how well they dry stuff but usually work pretty well. Not the cleanest but on the upside there is a sink so you can wash your hands after touching dirty laundry and detergent and coins....

I always go to this laundromat, the dryers dry your clothes without spending alot. Also its very clean Everytime Ive been there.

I like the Wednesday special. And the machines do a good job. I have never had a problem with any machine. Theres plenty of seating. I just wish people were not slobs and leaving dryer sheets and lint all over the floor. But thats not the business fault.

Would have been 5 stars but the sink was out of order and the dryer stole 1 dollar and 50 cents from me. Otherwise its a really great place.

Ive been using this laundromat since 1988. The owner is caring of his location. Ive never lost money in the machines. Only one homeless guy that haunts this place. He is in a walker with a red beard. He will ask you for money every time he sees you like hes never seen you before. Dont give him money, hes been doing this since 2007. Otherwise hes harmless. Only issue here is that the lint trap on the stacked dryers need to be cleaned more often to work more efficiently. Otherwise this is the cheapest in the amphi neighborhood. And its almost always clean which is crazy because Ive only seen the owner and employees a handful of times, yet MOST (not all) patrons here treat the facility as if it were their own and respect the machines and cleanliness.

The small washers are only a 1.00 on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m. larger washers are 4.50 to 4.75 and the smaller next to the larger washers are 3.75 to 4:00 its very popular but also scary.

The owner is the nicest guy yet! I have been going here for 18 years and he keeps this place clean. He knows I have been there when he gets there and half his job is done. He deserves a break every now and then so I try and help out when Im doing my laundry there. It also passes up time while Im waiting for my laundry to be done.

First off I like this place because it is open 24 hours and most laundry mats in Tucson are not open always. Second off they have a change machine inside which makes it easier if you dont have quarters you can put your cash is and get coins. Just like any other laundry mat people leave fabric sheets on the floor and other detergent like stuff. Ive never had a problem with any of the machines. (If you over stuff the washer duh it wont work). The washers and dryers look well maintained and Ive never seen any of them dirty when I put my clothes in, which believe me I check!

I like how they have $1.00 wash on Wednesdays. The place is usually very tidy, the only problem i think they have is there parking is very limited and if u have a big truck its hard to park close to the entrance due to the parking lot being so small and so close to the bus stop

Heading there now actually. Machines work, dryers are hot and prices are fare. Parking is a terrible but next door is vacant so for now thats doable. I have been to other laundramat where you have to buy some kind of member card and thats how you pay for services. Not convenient at all. SO DEFINITELY OVERALL THIS IS A1. It gets the job done.

When all else has failed to get ur laundry done and u only have time to do it at 2am well then this is ur place. The only issue I had was the dryers only charge 25cents to run for around 10min which means u have to go back inforth to put in another 25cents until ur clothes dries.

This has been the most convenient laundry Matt for me for years mostly because of its location and hours..that has recently changed with my last and final visit there about 3 days ago. My purse was stolen out of my truck while it was parked directly in front of the establishment in plain site from within the store, granite I should have locked my door although along with the fact that everyone makes mistakes I also believed it would be OK since I would not be leaving plain site of my truck. Therefore I feel that this place is completely UNSAFE!! Furthermore I also tried to contact the owner following the incident (to make a desperate plea for him to allow me to see the camera footage so that I might have a chance at getting ANY of my belongings back) and was simply told that hed already reviewed the cameras and would not elaborate at all and simply told me that it was as a liability issue and that id have to get a lawyer, (which I cant afford)despite me explaining to him that my entire life was in that purse,including my drivers license,my passport, my childs birth certificate,the spare keys to my vehicle(which Ive had to park at a friends residence since the incident because the thief now knows my address BC of my id)...along with all of my bank cards,over $150 in cash,not to mention jewelry that is completely unreplaceable along with many other items..I apologize for ranting Im still very upset about the whole thing..the only chance that I might have had to retrieve my purse was crushed by the owner of this establishment.... but the point of this review is just to let everyone know that this is NOT a SAFE environment for anyone by any means and that the owner DOES NOT have any CONCERN for the well-being of his customers or ANY of there BELONGINGS!

Was not impressed one bit

Cant think of anything outside of goodthings about the place. Extremly well kept, clean, owner is respectable, hard working, everything works, prices are fair, even the volume of the music is spot on. It is the best attended laundromat i have ever used and its 24 hours. I do wish there was a restroom and i have data however free wifi could be useful to some. Still have to give it 5 stars because the guy cleans every morning with a smile keeping machines working great....
