My husband and I have been here two weeks and the move in process was smooth as Michael was great at helping us with all the details and he went above and beyond. Great customer service through out our experience as well. We love the spacious apartment we live in and all of the great amenities: gym, laundry facilities, and the pool. I love that it is a pet friendly community as well. When we moved in we went through the apartment and filled out the provided checklist to let the office know about any issues as well as condition of the space. We also made a bullet point check list of work orders for the issues we found, which were few but important. We have not had any of the issues fixed which does include two mail keys that do not work. With all that being said, we feel the customer service here has been great. The office has always answered our questions and makes us feel welcome. We’re unsure if the maintenance department has too much on their plate or what the issue might be, but it seems there needs to be a bit more of a sense of urgency to fix issues within the apartment.

I have lived here for 3 years and have had no issue with my apartment, tenants, maintenance or management. The management crew are super friendly and some of my favorite people to talk too! I’m going on two years living here. I’ve read the comments, so many negative and even read people not moving here due to the comments. As I’ve said, going on 2 years and I love my apartment. I love the peaceful common areas and I love Elsa. This apartment is very old so many things are not what I’m used to. However, they are small compared to the benefits of living here.-Safe and Peaceful-Pest services-Shopping walking distance-Amazing low rent price-Fast friendly maintenance-Wonderful office staff-Mail and Packages delivered in safe coded mail boxes-Pets are welcomed more than I’ve ever experienced anywhereAnd much more...Living in an apartment complex comes with many bumps and annoyances, but that’s life.Things might not get fixed as fast as you like, there is a chain of command as with any place, but that’s life. Every single day I watch the staff from my balcony cleaning, weeding, fixing and organizing to keep this community running as smoothly as possible. So do not let a few negative reviews stop you from living here.Make your apartment a home.

I have been here going on three months now and I dont have any complaints. I have had two separate issues. One being the garbage disposal and the other the freezer. I made a call and these were taken care of within a couple hours from the call. Both repairs were called for replacement items to be installed. The young men who did the repairs were respectful and very knowledgeable of the repairs they performed. As for the office staff they are awesome. Professional yet very friendly and accommodating.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had SO MANY PROBLEMS.1. our apartment was infested with roaches. They lived in the walls & the outlets. They got in our pantry, our fridge, our cabinets, everything. We basically had to throw out all of our furniture after we moved2. The maintenance was AWFUL. We lived there over a year & had our ceiling flood more than once (it was never fixed), our dishwasher flooded our apartment & stopped working (also never fixed), our bathtub had mold growing in the corners & never fully drained, & nothing in the building was properly caulked so roaches could crawl in EVERYWHERE3. Management never helped with these issues & when COVID hit took away most of our amenities but never reduced rent. We had no hot water multiple times throughout our year there & had neighbors that smoked so badly I couldn’t go out on our front porch.A truly awful place to live. Please, please never move there(A reply to their claims that I never lived there: I have proof of living there. I lived at the Peaks of Reddington from December 2020 to April 2021. I lived in apartment 530. Not only do I have the paperwork to prove this but I have videos & photos of the leaking ceiling, the roaches, the notice on the pool that said it would be closed until May 2021, etc. )

Place is absolutely disgusting. Walls and ceiling are moldy and encrusted with so much water damage. Ceiling in bedroom and living room have huge pockets of water damage. Bedroom leaks every time it rains. Calls and work orders were placed, said “maintenance stopped by and it was dry and nothing was done..” two days later. The walls are INFESTED with roaches. They have had pest control come to building 3 times already and have not helped one bit. They don’t care and don’t care to do anything about it. This is ridiculous, and poses a health risk. We’ve tried EVERYTHING. Elsa is so rude, and has no common courtesy. Not helpful at all!! Can not wait until lease is over.

The management office is horrible. I have only been here since July and have gotten the run around so many times. They take days if not a week to respond to emails or voicemails, even if it is something that needs taken care of promptly. Most recently, as in a few days ago, there were these extra charges on my account and my rent went up when I was told it would not with moving. I have sent 5 emails, left voicemails and still have not heard back. And so now there is a late fee on my account. In times like this I do not have the extra money that keeps pilling up, and I cannot even get a response

Denise is the worst!!! I absolutely hate how Denise handles things. Elsa is great and is very helpful. But Denise is a whole different story!!! I hope I never have to deal with her or see her again in my lifetime. I just moved out and had money on my laundry card, she did not want to give me a refund! Also, don’t forget to give the 60 day notice at exactly 60 days before you turn your keys out. Or else you will be charged ridiculous fees!!The biggest problem I had was when monsoon season came around. I woke up one morning and my apartment was flooded. Master bedroom, kids bedroom, and living room. Carpets absolutely soaked. They had to call out a carpet resoration company that put in FOUR industrial sized blowers under my carpet running 24hrs a day for FOUR DAYS STRAIGHT! I must say that it did not sound good nor smell good at all and it was a horrible experience. I went to management to discuss my electrical bill because it was pretty high that month! Denise proceeded to tell me that the industrial blowers use the same wattage as a CEILING FAN!!!! She literally offered to credit me $4.25!!!!!FOUR DOLLARS AND TWENTY FIVE CENTS!!!What a joke. Denise is a joke. She needs to be dealt with. I’m obviously not the only one having issues with management. The only positive thing about this whole experience is that I get to move out and never have to deal with her again.

These apartments are the worst place to live. Time after time my packages were lost or stolen by apartment management. FedEx, UPS,and USPS all claim my packages were handled by the management and they dont seem to know where they have placed several of my items or that they are not responsible for them. They are rude and disrespectful time and time again. I have placed several work orders for a broken door, disgusting cracked bathtub, and mold none of which have been handled. They simply say that no orders were placed for maintenance. We paid that agency for carpet cleaning which was cleaned before we left and since then they have changed management. So, now this new management agency is sending us to collection on something that was already paid years ago. Still again waiting for them to call back. Because they said this is happening to alot of the tenant. Obviously, hiring incompetent people that are shady. This is going to almost 3 years we moved out. Sad that may

Ive lived here for 7 years now, the first 6 years I was in a single bedroom and now I live in a two bedroom. I didnt have much to complain about other than the AC never working right, but my upstairs neighbor was quiet and really nice and my next door neighbors, while loud, were at least friendly. In February, my girlfriend and I moved into the two bedroom apartment and we loved it and were really happy. Then at the beginning of April our new upstairs neighbors moved in and they began listening to loud rap and Mexican circus music immediately. They were still listening to their music late into the night, so we had to go up there and ask them to turn the music down, which they did. Then the next day they were listening to music again, and the next day, and the day after that and so on. We finally started calling security on them and probably called security fifteen times or so. One time I banged on the wall and the guy upstairs stomped his foot on the floor. Another time we called security and the music shut off and then he stomped his foot on the floor about 5 times. We had had enough so we decided to go to the office and complain. They said they would call our neighbors and ask them to be courteous. That solved nothing apparently. Over the past three months I have gone to the office countless times to complain and they tell me what I want to hear and then they do nothing, and the upstairs neighbors know that management wont do anything. I called security last night and about thirty minutes later the music got louder. It seems to me that complaining does nothing, so I just wont even bother anymore. I would love to break my lease though. I certainly would not recommend this apartment complex to anybody, unless you enjoy listening to obnoxious circus music while you lay in bed in the dark, sleeplessly staring at the ceiling, muscles tense, nerves on edge, mouth dry, perspiration soaking your bedsheets; in that case then, this is the apartment complex for you!Oh yeah! By the way, one time when I went to the office, the woman I spoke to said I could: 1. Call the cops. 2. Fight fire with fire, by turning my music up. and 3. Go upstairs and be aggressive and threatening to him... nice place.

The most telling thing in these reviews is in the response to the girl complaining about the paving schedule. The person responding is clearly Denise- her hallmark argumentative attitude shines through even in a company based account. Let’s dissect the response.“Our manager attempted to inform you, several times, that there was still a section of the lot available to use”Yikes. I can hear the condescending tone through the screen. “Attempted to inform you”? Not “as we explained...” or even throw in the word ‘try’ would be too difficult for Denise’s fragile ego. No, she goes straight for “attempted to inform”, as if to treat this girl with even more disrespect, cowering away from behind a screen.Moving on.“Attempted to inform you, several times,”= The girl complaining said one of the older office ladies argued and continued to talk over her. This was most likely Denise raising her voice because she cannot keep her cool in any given situation, indicative of poor emotional response and low emotional intelligence, and it shows even in this response. She couldn’t just let it go to save face on google reviews. Again, yikes.I imagine her reading this, sweat dripping down her sun damaged face from rage, and it gives me a hearty chuckle. Also, don’t move here.

I lived here for over 2 years. definitely get what you pay for.my upstairs neighbor was RIDICULOUSLY loud. I talked to him, then called the office. they claimed they called him to tell him to quiet down, but nothing changed. kept having to call the office until I eventually gave up.I never saw anyone smoking weed but the smell is strong around a lot of the apartments. the younger people in the apartments do get loud & rowdy at night. the office staff does nothing about it when you call to make complaints. the staff is nice, just kind of useless when it comes to those situations.the appliances are super out dated, so is the laundry room & fitness room. I had a broken eye on the stove since I moved in & they never fixed it.it didnt look like they even cleaned the place before I got there. there were weird & gross stains everywhere. I had to clean the walls, doors, & everything else with bleach.& there are stray cats EVERYWHERE. theyll crawl into your back porches & poop & theyll cry all night long. they sound like a baby crying. some of them are strays, some belong to owners. they do crawl up the trees & onto the roofs. so if youre on the second floor, Im sure youll hear them fighting & crying all night. again, the office does nothing. doesnt call the owners or animal control or anything.I did the refer a friend, & when she first moved in she loved it. but when they started repainting a couple months ago, they took down her 200$ patio shades she had outside & just took them. she called the office & they claimed they took it, said they would look for them, then supposedly couldnt find it. nothing like that ever happened to me, but I think anyone reading this should know her story.its really just a very old apartment complex that looks the part & charges super low rent with inconsiderate people & useless staff.

Serious Maintenance IssuesAfter 2 years here, with consistent, unresolved issues, Im fed up and looking to move. A couple of my neighbors have cited similar issues to mine. Its a real bummer because I love the size of these apartments and the location is convenient to my work, but I can no longer tolerate the broken appliances and dishonest, disrespectful maintenance manager. At least one of the maintenance workers has been relatively helpful and professional, but I no longer feel comfortable calling maintenance because of some incidents with the manager. In one instance, we called maintenance because our AC was frozen over (for the umpteenth time) and because our fridge was dripping water and our freezer wasnt staying cold. I got home from work the next day to a sweltering apartment (my wall thermometer said 96 degrees) and sat down to get some work done. When I went into the kitchen 20 minutes later, I saw that my fridge and freezer were wide open and all of my frozen foods were sitting out on the counter, halfway melted/thawed. Shocked and livid I called my husband and had him call the maintenance line because theyd been rude to me in the past, and I didnt want to get into an argument. 20 minutes later, the harried looking maintenance manager shows up and begins apologizing, but then begins lying stating that he had only been gone for 10 minutes, to get up on the roof to work on the AC, so my food should be fine. B.S. - I had been home for 40 minutes by the time he got there (I checked the clock) and when Id arrived home, he wasnt just leaving my apartment. He was already up on the roof. Also, given how defrosted my food was, it seemed like it had been out for an hour already when I saw it. Had I believed his lie (only having taken my food out 10 minutes ago) and fed that food to my family, we could have gotten sick. He also kept saying he needed to defrost the freezer to fix it, but that my food wouldnt defrost, just the freezer. Apparently he expects me to believe that food left on the counter in a 90 degree apartment will not defrost as quickly as a freezer in the same conditions: ridiculous. I salvaged what I could, but I had to throw away at least $80 worth of food. To add insult to injury, when we called the office later to discuss the issue, hed lied and told the office that hed only stepped out of the apartment for a few minutes, max, and the office workers refused to take the issue seriously or believe us when we said there was no way that was true! Ever since then, when I see the maintenance manager around the complex, he looks at me with a weird, unpleasant expression, as though it was I that went into his home, destroyed $80+ worth of his property, and then lied about it to his face. My fridge is still leaky, my freezer still doesnt consistently keep things frozen and my AC still regularly freezes over, but theres no way Im giving that man permission to enter my home again.Another time prior, he left a shattered light fixture that he broke on our closet floor and a snarky work order note on our counter. Wed asked that maintenance come replace a light fixture that had been falling off the ceiling since before we moved in and to take a look at our AC which was turning itself on and off for 3 second intervals. The AC unit is very loud, so we could hear it going on and then off again a few seconds later, which we explained on the maintenance hotline. Not only did the maintenance manager put in the new light fixture wrong, breaking it and leaving the shattered remains on the floor, but he left a note saying Light fixture: fixed. AC making noise: AC is supposed to make noise. I called to have the issue resolved, and left the apartment. When I came back, one of the other workers was using my fabric-covered dining chair as his step stool in the closet, with his dirty work shoes still on. Gross.I could go on but I think the lack of regard shown to residents is pretty clear.

Its definitely a terrible place to live. Loud gangster music all the time, the smell of marijuana everywhere, loud cars outside in the middle of the night, unfriendly neighbors, dogs constantly barking, I could go on and on about that. The people who run this place are money-grubbing misers. All they care about is screwing their tenants out of money. You can pay your bills on time for years and be the perfect tenant, but when it comes time to move out, they dont send you a final bill for 6 months, which has gone to collections, and out of nowhere you owe them thousands of dollars. They dont care about their tenants. Nothing gets fixed for months. The pool is always closed. The exercise room is always hot, the AC is always broken, the equipment is always broken. There are cockroaches all the time everywhere that just wont go away! The outside maintenance guys are doing yardwork that wakes you up early in the morning, and the incredibly thin floors make it so you can hear people stomping around upstairs (and sometimes when they stomp too much, the lights go out). Just dont live here.

The Peaks at Redington is not a pet friendly community even though they advertise it on the front of the property on a sign and on there website. Every Wednesday there landscapers spray Kleenup Pro Herbicide all over the property which says on the bottle “hazards to humans and domestic animals” and “if on skin or clothing rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 mins” and I know what they use because I had the supervisor of the landscape company show me the bottle of the weed killer they are using. I have talked to the office twice and sent a email and they have done nothing about it. I have been a resident of The Peaks at Redington community for two years now. I’ve lived in both the two bedroom and one bedroom apartments. Both floorplans are decently sized and convenient for the monthly rent cost you are charged. The landscaping is well kept with nice green grass for your pets. The new management has done a great job of making improvements around the community. They have renovated the clubhouse and gym, built a dog park, putt putt golf area, updated the pool, and bought all new patio furniture. The office staff and maintenance crew are great. If you pay your rent on time you will never have an issue. I have only had one A/C issue during the two years of living here. When I called the office they had someone on it right away. Elsa is my favorite staff member! She is super nice, professional, and handles your questions/issues as if they were her own. Prior to living here I was shown the apartments they had available as well as told of changes they were making. New roofs, new water lines, new fences installed, pool, gym, laundry rooms and Ive seen nothing but fast improvements. If I ask for a repair Ive always seen them come within an hour or so even when Im the process of these changes to come and help my family out. I havent had any problems with bugs or anything in that nature. My apartment is one of the new ones and I can say they have done a fantastic job. A huge thing for me was how fast can I move in and how fast can you work with me within 24 hours I was approved, brang a deposit which they work with you on, and not only that but they got me into my apartment within a week and with all the work done just like their display apartment. This place has both good and bad. People usually only make reviews for the extremes of either side. When I was upset, I gave a 1-star review, but I dont think thats fair (and definitely biased). Overall, I do like it here; this is my home. Its really affordable, at the center of everything, near my work, bigger than my last apartment, etc. I personally find the laundry room needing a bit of a tune up, but other than that everythings fine. The maintenance crew is really nice and awesome. They ARE understaffed, but they do the best they can, and thankfully Im a patient person. The management is nice until everyone has a mass-repair situation; they get stressed and sound a little snappy, but I can relate when it comes to angry customers calling in constantly (Customer Service is NOT just getting what you want, whenever you want). All in all, Id say 3-4 in rating. I like it, my roommate would definitely give a 1-star rating, but it DOES depend person to person, so maybe check it out yourself to form your own opinion as well :-)UPDATE: 11/09 -- Yesterday, I got a notice dated 09/20 stating that I am required to give a 60-day notice with intent to move, by 10/20.... But i only just got it yesterday, 11/08... and I would think to dispute it, but the actual date on the notice is from September, so they could claim ignorance on the matter... If this is their ploy to keep tenets, it makes me very upset. To top it off, the notice we received yesterday states that if we dont renew by Oct 31st (8 days before we received this notice), then the renewal rate is higher than it wouldve been had we actually gotten the option to renew beforehand.

DO NOT RENT HERE.I am counting the days until I can leave this place.Ive been having problems with my apartment since I moved in.The problems started first being that the dishwasher would not drain, the bathroom door wouldnt shut and a burner on the stove was broken. it took almost 3 months for them to be repaired. I always gave permission to enter, but the maintenance said that nobody was home and wouldnt fix anything. Then the bathtub stopped draining. I was more than ankle deep in old shower water. I called the office and the woman said that it wasnt an emergency, so they wouldnt fix it until Monday (its a health code violation. FYI) Then she told me just to pour drain-o in it because she said thats what the guys are going to do anyway. Then the water was turned off when I came home one day. I called to see when it was going to be turned back on and the woman told me she didnt know. I asked her if she could call the residents and tell them it is going to be shut off, (they have done so in the past) and she said Okay. let me get my crystal ball out so that I can tell you next time and hung up on me.Also, my storage door is not locked by the same key as my apartment. I told the office on February 14, and when I asked the office why they havent fixed it, the woman in the office said that maintenance closed out the ticket, without going inside my apartment. Now, my dishwasher backed up (into the sink and wont drain from inside the dishwasher). I told the office on March 2, and it still has not been fixed. There is now mold growing on the debris inside the dishwasher, and my apartment is filled with a foul stench that is causing me to become sick within 5 minutes of walking through the door. I havent been able to stay at my own home. This is a health and safety violation.

It also took months of complaining to get my disposal and dishwasher fixed and they only listened when I had to raise my voice and argue to be heard. My apartment smelled of rotted food so strongly I only ate out for 2 weeks and was almost never home. Argued I needed a NEW disposal and they argued back it only needed to be repeatedly unclogged... every week and that I shouldn’t let food go down the drain???? Even though that’s what disposals are for and I was never intentionally letting food go down. The problem stopped when they decided to listen to me and give me a new disposal after months of many angry calls and vacuuming my sink. Upon removing the old one they discovered it hardly had any blades on it from wear and tear. Unnecessary how long it took to fix and the conditions I had to live in all because they were being cheap and proud. Finally, after pressing charges on a neighbor that harassed me to the terrified point of vomiting and triggered my PTSD, and having to be escorted from my home and stay elsewhere, they would not release me from my lease, leaving me to continue to be harassed by this person and feel unsafe. They do not care about your safety in any sense. Please look elsewhere to live. Poor communicators and are often grouchy office administrators.

I do not recommend living here. Thing were okay for a bit, but when it really comes down to something that does no work in their favor, it is the worst experience. When I first moved in, I noticed yellow seeping from my walls like nicotine. Id constantly wipe it off but it would come back. Coming from a family of smokers, I understand how stubborn it is. They just painted over the stains though! Instant mold. Didnt want to fight with maintenance after having fought with them about my AC leaking for nearly a month. It ruined the carpet. Oh, then to follow, my tub was apparently leaking into the apartment under me. It took about 5 unannounced times to get that fixed, with the problem being solved by ripping up my entire bathroom floor and just throwing some of my stuff out of the way!! Vacuuming a couple times caused the carpet to start splitting in one area. Dishwasher was super leaky, ruining the floor. Denise is cranky, and seems to not care that she comes off rude and insensitive. We get it, you hate your job and everyone else. Im lucky I had a sweet neighbor who helping me try break my lease due to domestic violence, threats, and property damage. Apparently A police report of someone slashing your tires and somebody trying to get into your apartment overnight are not proof of harassment. Be prepared to be charged up the wahoo when you leave!

Anyone wanting to move into these apartments, dont. I thought to give them a chance despite the bad reviews a year ago and if anything everything is alot worst now! Everyone (except the young lady with very long hair) in the office is really rude and unfair! They dont care how long youve been a resident and doesnt work with you for nothing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to put your money towards another apartment complex that have professional workers and are willing to work with their residents! The AC is constantly going out TOO! Im just fed up with the management and will definitely be moving out as soon as the lease is up! THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! A worker at a motel 6 would treat you better than these people!

I lived at the apartments for 3 years while my husband was a student at the University of Arizona because the apartments were affordable but it was a ROUGH 3 years living here! When we first moved in our living room and dining room carpets had stains on them and our second bedroom had a spot that smelled like urine on it. It also looked like the apartment hadnt been cleaned before we moved in. We complained about our carpets but the office was only willing to clean the second bedroom to get rid of the urine smell (which didnt do anything.) The laundry rooms are a joke, washers and dryers are always broken and clothing gets stolen if youre not prompt with keeping an eye on it. The pool was heated, which was nice, but it was often closed due to maintenance issues. Speaking of maintenance issues, I always had several maintenance requests every month. Our A/C broke one summer and leaked water in our hallway and ruined the carpet. They said the leaking was normal condensation build up...We had BUCKETS catching the water and would have to empty them several times a day or theyd overflow. After complaining for over a month they finally repaired the leak. The A/C was always super loud and would rattle when it was on. Our freezer had little dead bugs in it when we moved in and it was a fight to get it replaced. It was disgusting. Denise was always rude. It was useless to take an issue to her because you could never get anything resolved. Elsa was always nice. My neighbors smoked weed on their patio and another couple who lived next door were always fighting. The fighting got so bad that I had to call the police and they were arrested in front of my door! Overall I would not recommend this place. Yes, the price is decent but the experience is not worth it! Once my husband graduated we were out of there! You couldnt pay me to live there again!

Where to start? lets see.. the neighbors above me can be heard walking around at all time due to horrible thin floors. they have been nothing but obnoxiously loud day after day... so what do I do? tell the office personnel ofcourse. they told me to call them whenever the noise is excessive but apparently to them that Word means being able to hear the noise from the office because they havent helped at all with the loud banging, stomping, and loud music and movies. so the complex is clearly just collecting money and picking up the phone... not renting out apartments and providing a descent living environment. I cannot stand living here. trash all over my patio from who knows where. there is trash all throughout the complex as Well. I dont know the security guy here but I do know that him and all of the maintenance personnel love to play cop when they knock on your door, or should I say bang on it like they have a problem with me. I can vouch for the mold complaints on other reviews. when I signed up for an apartment a month in advance I was told I would have an apartment close to the office.. instead I was put into an apt in the back of the complex. another thing is they showed me the open covered parking spots... I chose the one closest to the sidewalk leading to my door and instead they assigned me one furthest from any sidewalk to get to my door. if the lease break fee wasnt over 2 Gs Id be long gone. cheap rent but not worth a single cent saved. do yourself a favor and dont even consider moving here. tell everyone you know who rents... especially families. another thing, the only good review here is obviously someone at the office staff.. hilarious

I have lived in about eight complexes over the last 2 decades, and I have never had such a bad experience. Ive lived here almost 4 years and am counting the days until I can move out. I had a major life crisis that I tried to break my lease over, and the lease stated, in addition to the $1500 breaking fee, it would charge me additionally for EVERY year I have lived year -- for a total of over $3500! When I asked for a written break-down of the fees and how the concession charges were determined, I was scribbled a number on a Post-It with no explanation of the huge figure. I have been promised upgrades for renewing my lease without receiving them, received conflicting information from different staff members (i.e., I was given a free carpet-cleaning coupon that would only be good for a month that I was unable to use during that time, and discarded it; later I was told by the manager it would have been good for a year), and maintenance is awful. There is a huge mold problem in the bathroom that workers only put more grout over. The water is always being shut off, the laundry machines are always breaking down, and no one came to fix my only toilet that broke after I requested it first thing one morning -- I had to call them, and then was rudely told that because I could flush it (by manually reaching into the tank), it was not an emergency (it hasnt even been 24 hours). My blinds have fallen off my windows and my dishwasher doesnt clean properly, but I have never been taken seriously for that, so I wash my dishes by hand. The mailboxes leak when it rains, and the pool/spa hours are not kept as posted. Although the Internet advertises $440 for my 1-bedroom, I am now paying over $560 after having the rent jacked up every year. I would advise everyone to stay away from this complex.

Been here a couple years, never an issue with the office. The general manager is friendly, and so is her staff. (besides them being late on some sundays.) Maintenance staff are super friendly but seem under staffed for a large complex. I had one A/C issue which they were out to fix within an hour (even though i had to call the emergency line on the weekend) The staffer was unable to repair the job and called a contractor to replace the faulty equipment within two more hours. They offered me use of a demo apartment to keep cool till the repairs were finished but it was done so quickly and efficiently, it was unneeded. Yes, an occasional loud neighbor but thats to be expected when you live in such close proximity to people. I have never felt uneasy about walking my dog in the middle of the night. Security can be seen roaming and the recent face lift to the buildings freshened up the place. Everyone has their bad experience, I just cant say Ive had many here, at least nothing that isnt expected to happen every now and then.

Honestly im upset I even have to give this place 1 star. I lived here for less than a year. I referred someone to the property who ended up moving in and they didnt want to give me my credit for my rent that say they will give. And then a lady in the office called me and accused me of having pets that I dont have and claimed multiple people saw me coming in and out of my apartment with a dog and told me I had to pay. I continued to tell her that it wasnt me and i hadnt been living there for two months as I was out of the STATE and she proceeded to say we know it was you, and we will find out and we will find you 10 minutes later she called back and said they found out it wasnt my apartment and that they were sorry... Maybe you should look into situations like that before you proceed to harass me. I guess she saw another black women and assumed it was me, Not all black people look the same. I am so happy that I no longer live in these apartments. The staff is rude and condescending. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING HERE.

Dont rent from this place. I had nothing but problems. I wish I could rate them zero stars, thats what they deserve. Right when I moved in there was mold growing under the sinks. The plumbing was in a horrible state. In fact, the tenant below me had a huge hole leaking water every time I showered. They had refused to fix it according to him, and he was tired, and on disability. He finally had enough and moved out. While I was there (13 months) there were three different tenants... Seemed like there had been extensive water damage, the floors, and underneath the sink were bowed. Here are some of my own problems other than the mold, plumbing, and leaking... There was a bee infestation in my oven vent (yes you read that right.) Also my AC broke during the summer FIVE SEPERATE TIMES. Twice they didnt get back to me after calling their emergency maintenance line. I had to evacuate my apartment with my pet, since it was above 90°. Only when I persisted did they show up. They hadnt even called me back. Not to mention the front office ladies all have terrible attitudes and dont know the first thing about customer service... Current situation: I lived here a total of 5 years a year ago everything did start to go super wrong but the last 2 months things have been more horrible than usual. There was some domestic violence going on - called the cops several times and no one showed up - I know I’m not the only one calling - ALSO one particular family or friend or idk what they are moved in and they are constantly at the pool drinking, getting high and w tons of kids up to 5 in the morning . Kids are yelling and adults are cussing, yelling, being super annoying you can’t even sleep because they are so loud - also they are SUPER GHETTO. The amount of ugly, ghetto, criminal, weed selling people that have moved here recently is effecting this place even more now than just the office manager . I known Denise for 5 years and she is still not my cup of tea, she is very cold and talks over you making u feel little, the only great thing about the office is Elsa for sure! Still wouldn’t recommend moving here - rent went up 200$ since I moved here and it’s not worth it - there are better places on the east side, these apartments make me feel like I live in south Tucson ! . They advertise night patrol and that’s a joke they haven’t had anyone around in years, pools stays open all day and that’s why these people keep on throwing parties and leaving their kids unattended up to 5:00 AM . If you are trying to buy weed anyone in this apartment complex sells it, u can smell it from the parking lot !!!! Also there’s no parking - if u get here at 9 pm u better be ready to be driving for a while to try and find parking it’s annoying.A year ago :I have lived in this apartment complex for over 4 years - my experiences had been okay until today . I called the office 11 times all without an answer - I needed to know if I could pick up the key for the club house which I rented for the day when the lady finally answered she asked me if I could hold - I proceeded with letting her know I just had a question to which she responded “ I’m signing the lease with someone “ . Never never never have I ever had someone tell me they can’t answer one question and never have I gotten this much attitude from someone . I said I just need to know if I can come in for the key and let her know that I didn’t appreciate her being so rude she then said “ I have 2 people here so you are going to have to wait “ . I went to frys and got my check by the time I went in there were a few people 1 complaining about something wrong in their apartment ( which left pretty quick )and someone who wanted to sign a lease - when the 1st people left the guy in there let me go first as he UNDERSTOOD that his need required more time and paperwork. The girl then ( I believe ) made an attempted to apologize which begin with her saying “ I wasn’t picking up because I had someone in front of me “. I quickly said understand that but you don’t have to be so rude when u answer the phone and I know you understand that signing a lease takes time, you can pickup a call after 11 calls and answer ONE question “. She got up and begin yelling that she wasn’t going to get in this conversation and walked away from me - i said good “ but I know you understand that signing leases takes longer and if you are this busy on Saturday maybe you need more staff here with you “. She continue by saying “ I will pick up the phone when I’m available “and proceeded to give me the keys with and attitude and making faces . I asked her for a pen and signed my check then left - I called to get her name and she WONT PICK UP MY CALLS . I’m outrage with the rudeness and attitude of this lady - never had anyone treated me with such disrespect and actually tell me that they were going to do something when they wanted to. 11 calls for one question is seriously ridiculous, this place has gone down so much this year - they continue to get people in the office who DONT HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER !!!! . Really sad to see where this place is going and extremely unhappy about how this staff treats people.

I moved into this apartment about a year ago and we had mold right off the bat when we moved in. The apartment was move in ready but the was no ac or running water for the first week, due to some maintenance work. When we finally settled in everything leaked, the dishwasher, bathroom sink, toilet and the roof. The first mold incident was in the dishwasher, the water wasnt draining and it would just sit in the bottom and it started to collect mold and the office staff told me to just poor bleach on it and it would be fine instead of them coming in and fixing the dishwasher. The second mold was in the bathroom behind the toilet and it was a lot of mold but because it was black instead of green they kept saying it wasnt mold. It took them days to come look at it and then the tore a hole in the bathroom and left it like that for a few weeks. the third mold situation was in my patio. My patio was always flooded and they never wanted to help us with that, they claimed that came with the apartment due to its location. I suggested the maintenance clear a path for the water to go out to the sidewalk or the grass and they said they were not going to do that. So me and some neighbors did the work our selves. A couple of weeks later the maintenance came and covered up the small water canal we built and redirected the water back into my patio. After a couple of days a we had mold on the patio walls, when i informed the office they told me to pour bleach on it. My dog was sick from the mold and the patio and they told me they are not responsible for that. The fourth mold was on the roof of the bathroom, there was a bubble on the roof that was holding water from the unit above that was collecting on our roof. It was real soggy and it started to get mold on it. When we call the office they asked what time where we available to let maintenance in because according to policy if you have a pet sticker on the window, maintenance can not enter unless you let them in or give em permission. Well they came to fix it when we were at work so could not see what they did. We could see the scrape marks and we could smell the paint. So they scraped it and then painted over the mold. After having so much trouble with them the made us pay for two extra months and now that its a been almost a year since we moved out they want us to pay a over 1,000 $ in damage fees mostly things caused by the mold. Unbelievable, we will be filing against them in court soon. save your money because Denise and her complex will suck you dry

Not to mention there was a woman ATTACKED outside of my apartment one night, and I was up till three listening to the police. And for not even a nice of a place, you are getting ripped off with their partial utilities and their way of doing security deposist! On top of my AC constantly breaking down on my during summer, the office expects one days worth of rent AFTER I had moved out (since some leases go till the 1- and mine DID NOT), and expect me to pay over 150 in PARTIAL UTILITIES. This is water and trash ALONE. For my whole year and a half of living there I was paying continually 80 and up for utilities, and I let the monthly increase slide.

I lived here for 2 years, the AC doesnt ever work right for starters. Once we called maintenance because of mold in the bathroom and a guy came in and spray painted the whole bath tub white and left. The water is like acid water we had to buy a water filter just so our skin wasnt itching. Also the garbage disposals, dont let them fool you, you are not supposed to use them by their definition, I called a maintenance man to come see what was wrong w mine and they simply said, no putting food down them and dont use them only pour bleach down them to keep the awful smell created by the dishwasher at bay. And for some reason the residents here feel the need to dispose of all their old furniture outside next to the dumpster i.e. couches, beds, mattresses and it is always full. The light over the oven and in the hallway has a shortage you will always have to keep replacing these at your own convenience. And dont plan on plugging in anything that need an outlet, the cord will always fall out so you have to keep readjusting just to make sure it will possibly work.Dont trust your laundry in the laundry rooms, it will be stolen, there are always signs up in the laundry room pleading for people to please bring their clothing back, and the management doesnt care about that either. The windows are paper thin and any movement in your apt will make them shake and rattle, be it walking or someones loud bass from their 1997 Honda which is most likely just another drug dealer. There are only drug dealers who live here, mixed with people who are getting screwed by breaking their lease early to get out of here. I kept to myself until they asked if Id like to renew my lease, I said I would not be renewing due to drug use and drug dealers, Denise the manager got very upset at me and told me she had never heard of this before.... Then that night around 8pm to 10pm there were creepy white men hiding their faces knocking on my door... also know as meth heads. I ended up having a police report made and having them come that night to document the harassment. I called Denise while one of the men was outside my door yelling at me and threatening me and she said Well thanks for calling the cops, I realized then I should go above her head since she too was in on the fact that her secretarys were friends w the drug dealers and had given out my personal information including where I lived. I have children and my oldest kept asking mom who is knocking at our door? These men didnt stop, even after the police had come to my apartment the druggies came back knocking at my door the next morning. I finally ended up getting a call back from upper management 4 days after I had called them. This place is not safe, I would only recommend this place to someone who sells, or uses drugs and never wants to be found out by the management. There are pit bulls that are off their leash, amongst other dogs barking day and night. There is something seriously corrupt about the management and I have retained a lawyer due to all of the harassment that I have received conveniently right after advising the management that there was drug dealing and suspicious activity and drug sales going on. After reading the other reviews it is obvious to me that the manager herself should probably take a look at the ratings here at The Peaks At Redington before dismissing me and then handing out my personal information to get drug dealers to scare me into being quiet.

This place is severely outdated and while they continue to make changes to the amenities, they neglect to upgrade the actual units. The units are disgusting and have lacked proper maintenance for so long that you can physically see the mistakes. The floors are warped from water damage, some units carpets haven’t been changed in so long you can still smell the previous pet’s urine left behind. The active water leaks on the property have been there for over a year, in which they state are getting fixed yet the only change that has happened has been the water pricing increased to $55.00.The manager is a complete grouch and acts as if she can’t fathom anything being wrong with the property, yet she doesn’t live on-site. She is never in a good mood and refused to acknowledge when they make clerical errors. My friend moved in and had to come stay with me the first three weeks of his lease because they had to spray for roaches on three different occasions and he didn’t want his dog to be sick.We were even offered drugs while sitting on his back patio one night and when this was brought to the staffs attention, all they said was, “did you call the cops?”Please, if you have children or value your safety, don’t rent here.

My girlfriend and I live at this place for 2 years. After the start of our second year we noticed our utility bill was constantly going up. As with some other complexes, water is divided by the amount of residents and square footage to calculate each apartments water usage. Our water usage stayed the same the entire time and no notice was given for raise in rates. Office personnel does not like to be questioned about anything. They become rude and defensive. Also, the water seems to be shut off periodically to fix a leak.Reasons to not live at the complex:1. Utilities. Claim that the average two person utilities (water, sewer, gas, and trash) costs $70 -$80. That is what it was in the beginning and then gradually got more expensive, over $100 dollars a month. Our water portion of the bill seemed to be high for the month that there was a leak on property and the water was shut off for most of the day.2. The office personnel was great for the first year and then turnover happened. The girls in the office become rude whenever you question anything. Told that I would receive what would be left a $651 deposit within 2 weeks, today marks 2 1/2 weeks since that conversation took place. Just found out it was mailed yesterday.3. Claim 24 hour maintenance. Yeah, leave a voice mail and then play the waiting game, after office opens at 9 am. Exact quote Youre moving next month, maintenance will get there when they get there. This was in regards to A/C being out on a 100 degree day. 14 hours after first contact with maintenance(voice mail) and 5 hours after office opened, maintenance finally arrived. After A/C was fixed, it would click on and off and not work for awhile. Maintenance claimed nothing was wrong and we were using too much energy... What?4. After spending an entire day cleaning the apartment from top to bottom, minus shampooing carpet, was charged about $140 for cleaning the entire apartment because of the state we left it. Also, didnt walk through apartment with someone from office, they were too busy.5. Contacting corporate is useless. Had to leave a message for someone at corporate for a complaint, in regards to A/C being out. Call was finally returned 2 weeks later. I was told my complaint was not valid, reason office staff claims no message was left and office staff wasnt notified by me until around 11 am or so. Really? No love for this place nor will I recommend this complex to anyone, unless they want to get screwed over some way.
