NTB at Towson does amazing work. I work up the street, and they always allow me to drop my car off. AND they get it done the same day for me! Highly recommend them! Great workers as well. Very friendly to me.

Will was great to work with! We were traveling home from NC and got a flat. This store was the closest to us so we took a chance. We expected a wait time since we had no appointment but Will put our car immediately in the shop. Simple plug/patch and we were on our way. Couldn’t thank him enough! This location gave me stellar customer service, this past week. I took my car in to have my new tires installed but my car was not ready by the time I was advised to pick it up. Initially, I was dissatisfied because I was told they hadnt gotten to it yet. The manager came and spoke with me to see if there was anything he could do to compensate me for my time. After assessing the situation, he was able to make things right and I ended up being pleased with the service I received. Thank you NTB of Towson!!!

Not from around here on a road trip to see the family and of course car problems came up. We got the car over here and a man named Will hooked us up and got us back on the road in no time at all. Definitely recommend the shop and ask for Will he definitely had answers to all my questions.

I came here for a wait-in appointment. Apparently everyone needs to get their car worked on right now, and I could tell the staff was overwhelmed. The manager, William, met with me and was very upbeat and transparent about the situation. I could tell they were working very hard with low-staff, but they still took extra care with my cars alignment (it needed several look-overs). I will definitely come back! Just be ready for a long wait, because they are pretty detailed in their work and this location gets a lot of customer traffic.

On the bright side, they saved me as I was towed there (Towson, MD) and they had no openings... Otherwise I would have had to get towed again to another location. So they were very gracious in working me in as I live in Hanover and didnt relish leaving my car until Monday. The problem is that I keep getting low pressure warnings (not just one). I pumped air to balance the pressure. But the warnings persist. I called the location in Columbia MD which is open l on Sundays.....i was on hold for nearly 50 minutes. The earliest appt is not until Tuesday at that location. My worry is that the tires might not be on correctly with respect to the pressure sensors. Or do any of these 4 new tires nave a leak? Meanwhile, Ill keep calibrating and pumping as necessary.

I’ve had such mixed experiences here. Typically they are very easy to work with and can fit you in if you have an emergency. Last week I dropped my car off at the shop at 10am for a basic inspection. Six hours passed and I hadn’t heard from anyone. I called the shop and was just told it hadn’t been looked at yet and they couldn’t tell me when it would be. Two more hours go by and still nothing. I call back and get the same answer. I picked up my car and left. It’s ridiculous to leave your car there literally all day, untouched, especially when I just needed a basic inspection. I’m not sure I’ll go back to NTB after this experience.

The manager Will was fantastic. Very personable and honest about what my vehicle needed done in the future. If you want an honest service of what your vehicle needs. Come to NTB of Towson!

I blew a tire on York Rd with my 3 year old in the vehicle. Luckily I was within a few blocks of NTB. They happily changed the donut for me for no charge so I could make it home safely!! One of the worst experiences. They don’t have enough staff and are always overwhelmed. I was told that it will take 2 hours to fix the tire which is in itself a long time but ended up taking 6 hours. They had no excuses just kept on saying we are overwhelmed.

I will never try to bring my car here again, I was told by a very nice lady the day before my appointment to bring my car in at 2:30 have my tires inspected and balanced and realigned, I show up the day of my appointment and the man working at the desk told me that me making appointment wont change anything and that I should leave my car overnight and theyd try to get to it the next day, so I drove to there and back just for them to tell me that cant do it till maybe the next day .

Love the service Ive been getting over the years...... I did... Until 10/04/17. Got all the fluids flushed on a car I just bought and its very clear they charged me for a brake flush and didnt perform it. Thats not new fluid. Guess its back to flushing my own brakes. You just lost a customer.

This place is exceptional they really do more then just throw on tires, they actually care about there customers. My engine was moving up and down around the same time my tire blew out and they showed me that my engine mount bolt had came out a few inches. I knew I just replace that mount so which is very weird but hey I guess mistakes happen. Thanks guys for taking care of Lexi for me.💯👌🏽🤘🏽🚗💨

Cant say enough about the management at the NTB in Towson. Make no mistake, the difference in after-market auto work lies with the quality of the people who run the operation. Charlie Gill is the legend in the Baltimore area for that quality of character. Brett took over the Towson store a few years back, and now it is Adeola and Sean assisting. Just like the people who preceded them, these two men run the business with a tremendous amount of integrity. I highly recommend this store!

I would like to acknowledge my wonderful experience with Adeola Okubanjo.What a wonderful employee!!!I had a flat tire and needed to be at the storeby 4pm at closing to pick it up. The cab did not come for me after 30 min. I called him and he said he would wait for me. The cab never came so he drove to my car to my house to deliver my car.I tried to tip him but he would not accept any money. Adeola is a true asset to your company!!!

Very easy to set up an appointment and get your work done. I usually drop my car off in the morning and pick up after work. I have never had any issues with the work done and the prices seemed reasonable.

Had an appointment for an 8am oil change and headlight bulb replacement. I called the day before to make sure they had the bulb and they said they did. I come in at 750 get checked in and my car is not done until 10am. They didnt have the bulb so it cost me 182 dollars for an oil change and a light bulb that took 2 hours. I was given a free oil change as compensation so that was nice. I am displeased at the performance of this establishment.

Bill has platinum quality customer service. Above and beyond the norm. The service is quick and reasonably priced for tires and such. Clean atmosphere and comfortable while you wait... the short time that you are here that is lol I highly recommend this place for all of your automotive needs. Ask for Bill Haas, hes your guy!!

4 tires in less than an hour, didnt pressure into buying extra service, did a Safety inspection informed of things that needed attention but were part of a safety recall.

The guys at this shop are the best. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the repairs you need, not just the repairs that will make them more money. I have come to them for things as easy as oil/tire changes to more complex issues and am always treated well by these guys. They are not the shop to trick you out of your money.

The place is impossible to get ahold of they never called me when my car was ready. They dont answer the phone.

I went in to have my tire checked bc the pressure kept dropping every couple of days and thought I would need a new tire. I only needed a patch and I appreciate in these tough economic times that NTB -Towson did not try sell me 1 or more new tires and kept my service economical. When I do need new tires, I will certainly purchase them NTB-Towson.

As usual I had a good overall experience. Quick and efficient service. However, I got a surprise offer regarding lifetime tire balance for tire I did not purchase at NTB. I wonder how long this benefit has been existent since I have been purchasing tire balances over 2 years.

I have gone to this shop on a number of occasions, and each time, they have been fantastic. I feel as though this shop cares about their customers safety first and foremost. They have always notified me of potential problems, but havent tried to pressure me into getting those repairs before they became necessary.The staff is also wonderful. Brent and Ally (sorry if I got your names wrong) were not only fantastic in dealing with me, but were also patient in talking with my dads twenty questions. My dad is a former mechanic and, at the end of the day, he said he felt they did the best by me and my car without taking advantage. That is, to me, exceptionally high praise.As long as I live in the area and their quality of work stays the same, I will be a loyal customer.

Friendly staff. Great work done quickly. They dont oversell. The technician comes out and gives you a full rundown on what was wrong and how he fixed it. They ordered 2 parts the day of and fixed my car in 2.5hrs.

This location has been really great in the past when Bill Haas was working here. He was fantastic with customer service, scheduling, and knowledge about cars. I dont know if hes still here or if something has changed, but I scheduled an oil change and somehow it wasnt in their system. This has never happened. The man at the counter rescheduled and apologized. If my appointment is missing again in the future I will not be back.Update 1: it took 15 minutes for someone to speak to me upon arrival.Update 2: Sergio Powell is now at the Lutherville location. Bill Haas is at Pikesville. And today I met Adelo Okubanjo, and he was stellar. NTB, you have some good people working with your company. Keep your employees by treating them well and Ill keep coming back, and Ill keep recommending business your way.

The team at NTB (formerly, Merchants Tire) is fantastic, and consistently so. This location has become my go-to place for anything car related. I know I can rely on Allie, Brent, and their colleagues to do a thorough assessment and complete job at a reasonable price ... cannot ask for more!

Dont know what happened to this place: it used to be reliable but I do not recommend it. Left my car, they said it would be done in 2 hours and they would call me. They didnt. I called and there was much more to be done. Alison promised to call me back but didnt, then when I picked the car up she lied and rudely said she had never spoken to me. When I finally got the car back there was a rattle at the back: they had not tightened the nuts! Nobody had bothered to check-- a safety hazard.

I had an almost flat tire in York road and made it to merchants because of distance. I was prepared to hear bad news about expensive new tires. However, the mechanic found the leak and fixed it up and sent me on my way. The staff were all so helpful and patient with me as I was quite anxious about it all. Absolutely will use them again. Fast and honest service is hard to find in auto service.

Highly recommend this shop. Jun and his expert techs fixed a leak on my 20 inch tires with no problem. They were extra careful with my rims and went the extra mile to remove old wheel weight adhesive. Super friendly staff too.
