Seriously terrible. I stayed with my brother for 4 months. During the time I lived with him, the AC stopped working multiple times and took days to repair, mail went missing for months at a time, and one of their cars got broken into.Staff was rude half of the time and sweet the other half of the time. The apartment required that anyone over 18 be on the lease as an occupant. I moved out 6 months prior to their lease being up. They lived there for almost 4 years. Due to issues between my brother and sister-in-law and the apartment complex regarding stolen goods from the apartment prior to move out... they withheld rent the last month. Now, 4 months later, the debt has shown up on MY credit report and is NOT on the two actual tenants credit reports. Completely ridiculous.DONT RENT HERE.
Always a positive experience, manager truly cares about the property. Life is good here!!!
I’ve lived at Apple Creek for a little over 10 years. The community is very quiet and respectful. Management has always been respectful to me, the same with applies to maintenance. I never had any problems with the apartments I lived in, staff, or residents.
Lived here for 2 years and it was alright. The maintenance people are nice and get stuff done as soon as possible. They have little events for holidays and for birth months. We have little to no contact with the main office though.. which Im okay with. The lady in the front office is kind of scary and shows no emotion what so ever.. so we try to avoid going up there.I havent seen any rats in my apartment but I saw a dead roach under the sink when we first moved it. The roaches come out every once in a while even though I keep the house pretty clean and dont leave food out.Its a quiet place to live though..
I somewhat enjoyed my time living at these apartments, but management is very rude! They a very unprofessional! Interacting with them was very uncomfortable. The best way to live there is to set up everything through the resident portal and avoid management at all cost for the most comfortable living experience.
I have lived at Apple Creek Apartments for six & 1/2 years. I have found the manager Patricia, to be exemplary & her assistant to always care about the needs of the tenants. Patricia is always accessible & willing to listen to you, if the situation calls for maintenance they are wonderful, polite & caring & will take care of the request promptly. There work is comparable to some one you would hire professionally. The grounds & landscaping are beautiful. Where I live is like living in a park. I find these apts & buildings to be well lit & feel safe walking from the parking to my apt. There are tenants here that are helpful & kind. One day bringing in groceries & a heavy bag of ice which I dropped, the young man upstairs heard it & came down to help me pick it up & he even helped carry it all in.I have never had a problem with bugs or mice as these apts are treated on a regular basis. The rent is affordable to me. It is a comfortable, clean place to live it is very important to the mngt that is kept that way.
TERRIBLE. RATS!!!!We were only living here for about a year, and Im surprised we lasted that long. We had two loafs of bread, two boxes of cereal, rice, oatmeal, clothes, etc EATEN by a rat. There was urine and feces in the utility closet, bathrooms and kitchen. Management not only refused to waive the transfer fee but refused to shampoo the carpets to get rid of the smell. Jason, the WONDERFUL maintenance man did his very best at setting traps, covering holes and coming to check on us everyday for about two weeks. We waited to pay rent to see if we could get at least $50 off but that wasnt the case, Patricia, the HORRIBLE manager charged us with late fees and slapped us with if you dont like it, move. So, we did and I couldnt be happier. 10/10 would NOT recommend.MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF YOUR LOVED ONES.So, if you are interested in living in an unsanitary, unprofessional community, youve come to the right place.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Mainly because the manager Patricia is extremely unprofessional and rude. My boyfriend and his roommate lived there. Once we were at the pool and she came out and asked what apartment he was in when he gave her his name and his roommate’s name. She was like “BUT YOU DO NOT LIVE THERE WITH HIM.” And my boyfriend was like yes my name is on the lease. So she said “MHM, We will see about that!” And she went back inside and never came back out. How rude. In multiple occasions she has been snippy and rude. She has no respect for her tenants. The boys also damaged the patio with a minor cigarette burn, and she charged them 600 dollars for some guys to come slap some paint on it. They didn’t even fix it. She is just ridiculous.
Overall the complex is quiet (with the exception of some dogs). The tenants turn over frequently so you don’t know your neighbors long. It’s close to a lot of conveniences. But all of those positive points are negated when the management lack respect for the tenants.1. The ceiling fans were covered in cigarette residue that I cleaned myself. They refused to clean the air ducts; every time I used the heat the apartment smelled as though someone was smoking.2. UPS cannot leave packages at the office for tenants who aren’t home because the management refuses to accept packages from just that company. The UPS driver’s note on door tags was the only notification tenants received of this policy change.3. Complaints about loud pets are not taken seriously. A neighbor and I submitted written complaints about a barking dog on multiple occasions and provided video evidence. In response, the manager asked, “What do you want me to do?” I asked her for the move-out paperwork.4. They charge $45 for watermarks in the shower when you move out. They also use some fuzzy math to determine the final water bill and deduct it from your deposit even though they have you sign paperwork requiring you to send a money order for the final bill.
I have been living here almost a month and I love it! I have no complaints. The week I moved in I reported a problem with the A/C unit and the washer. Maintenance arrived very promptly and resolved the problems. I have not lived in an apartment for years and was a little worried about apartment life such as noise from close neighbors but I have no complaints. It is very quiet and peaceful here. I would recommend Apple Creek apartments to anyone and everyone!
Honestly the management is TRASH, they don’t care to work with you or show any emotion what so ever. I was never late or missed on a payment, and when we moved out I was told that I broke my lease contract by not providing a 60 day notice to vacate, which I had no clue because no one told me nor can I find that on my lease anywhere. They want me to pay for an extra month of rent when I wasn’t living there because my lease expired. I had perfect rental history until I rented with them!!!! Biggest regret ever !!!
Worst place I have ever lived, and I lived there for 13 years. The manager is awful and that only adds to all of the other despicable things about the place. And its true that there were and maybe still are rats or mice invading apartments. Its a hostile environment that makes living there stressful and unpleasant in the extreme. Get rid of the property manager. Things were better before 1st Choice took over and brought Patricia in.
My fiancee and I just recently moved out of this apt. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to consider this apt. Especially anyone one with children. The 1st apt we lived in had a HUGE rat problem that my fiancee and I had to take care of ourselves, because there wasnt anything the maintenance could do and the pest control man only gave us sticky traps. We caught & disposed 5 rats total in a 2 week period. We then had to move into a slightly bigger apt, which was really no better than the 1st apt. Rats made holes in the ceilings in both apts that we resided in. Their appliances are also not up to date. We experienced problems with our water heater and maintenance came to minor repair it, but not replace it as we requested. The water heater eventually had leaked through our carpet and into the downstairs tenants kitchen ceiling and only then the office decided to replace the water heater because it was old and no longer working .. this was about 6-8 months of living at the 2nd apt. When questioning the manager of the move out charges, she quickly got offended and yelled at me and quickly disconnected the line. Again, I would not recommend this apt to anyone at all, the charges are too high for their little 2 bedroom apts and the environment is not children friendly at all.
Damages/mess were exaggerated. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly by several people when we moved out yet we still got charged money for leaving a mess.
Terrible Terrible Terrible, Patricia is a Terrible Manager, over priced, we had a rat living in our apartment for a week eating our food. We had to throw away two loafs of bread, two boxes of cereal, all of our rice, and some clothes that were chewed up. Instead of getting help from management we got help from their hard working maintenance man Jason. Management didnt want to wave the transfer fee, didnt want to get our carpet shampooed, which smelled like rat feces and urine. Management also didnt want to have our apartment cleaned out from all the rat feces inside the hot water heater closet. So we waited to see if we could at least get $50 bucks off rent, but instead we were charged late fees and told that if we paid rent and all the late fees our carpet would then be cleaned. When I told her no, and I think something should be done, she told me if i didnt like it then to just move out. Had a rat living in our apartment creating a very unsanitary and unsafe environment for a little over two weeks and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE BY MANAGEMENT!!!!! Dont move here unless you dont care about how youre treated, p.s. she didnt even care that I have a small child.
Worse place i ever rented, Rude management and my kid always complained of being bullied by neighbor kids. Very High water bill . They waster water on sprinklers (even in rain they run it) and u end up paying for it.
Asked when my lease was up and got the answer of you signed for a year. I was told I signed for 6 months. Very over priced for what you are getting. Dont recommend
Spoke with the manager for a meet minute, she was rather unhelpful.
When you move out they will charge you cleaning fee....late return fee....key fee....Mail fee......EVERY FEE YOU CAN THINK OF........OLD OUT DATED.....GHETTO!!!!!!
