This place isnt what u think it would be you get treated wrong and people stole and leave door dent on your car like mine did we had people use a key on my brother car made a line across it and we told the office people about it but they didnt care there rude people say they are nice thats not true and when u vist or stay night for 2 days when it supose to be 3 and it hasnt been 3 days its been two they will tell u to get out when there rules are set for 3 days thats bull. So behonst i wouldnt live at this place

The friendliest staff and coziest apartments! Landscaping is always freshly manicured & the location is perfect! Close to everything you could possibly need, while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The Brooke has been my home for going on 3 years, and I don’t plan on going anywhere else :)

The Brooke is honestly so different than a lot of apartments! Unique back splashes in the kitchen, really close to just about anything which is so convenient. The lady’s in the office are so nice and very understanding and helpful. Definitely the best around

DO NOT MOVE HERE EVER!!!!Ive never had a problem with the Brookes before Ive stayed here before in 2016 and I came back and ever since Ive been back everything has been horrible my apartment wasnt ready when I moved in it was dirty nothing was cleaned the carpets had pet hair in it. there was stuff from the previous person left in the storage the bathtub had pet hair as well and I had to unclog the drain myself when I moved it my heater hasnt worked since I lived here and I went to the office multiple times and they failed to send anyone here to fix it its been 56°F and its like they do not care about my well being and I also have pictures of everything.

Since new management came aboard, this complex has definitely gotten better. Customer service has improved as well. Lots of food and shopping options nearby. Thumbs up!

Been here for two years and its been good. The girls in the office are real nice and have been helpful. The maintenance guys address my issues when needed. I recommend if youre looking for something adorable and in town.

The ladies in the office are amazing. Went through a difficult year, and they were so kind and understanding. They never made me feel unwelcome or a nuisance. They are so flexible with their options, and so willing to compromise in the effort of being a blessing. So grateful to them!!

Been staying at this complex for a few years now and its pretty nice! Never had any issues with the people that stay here, the maintenance crew resolves any of the major issues as soon as they can and the office staff is friendly and understandable. The location is good along with the layout of the complex. Highly recommended!

Excellent staff. Made leasing easy and my transition from Korea to the United States seamless. Always available when I need them even coming in after hours. I appreciate all the effort by maintenance and leasing to the management staff. Keep up the hard work.

I been a resident for a 5 years and like it. My kids loved the pool and the playground. The office girls were always friendly and the maintenance guys took care of issues when I had any. Nice and affordable.

Im still living here as of currently, and the problems Ive seen are, as below,-pet hair from previous tenant in varpet-the screens in the back fall off constantly-there is a wasp problem-When you apply for something to be repaired, it takes forever.-My neighbors have obviously not been background checked.-Ive considered calling the cops a few times due to neighbors pulling in at 2-3 am with their music blaring. I do not need that. I have a job to get to, and I dont need to know that they listen to Taylor Swift at 80 volume at 3am.-lots of cracking in the wall.If you move here, check your apartment fullyfirst and make sure you see no holes/mold.

Sherielle was absolutely amazing at giving me a tour and helping with the application process. Amanda has been very prompt at answering any and all questions and returning phone calls. The property Manager Missy was great at helping me get a move in date that fit my needs. Thank you ladies so much for making this transition as smooth and easy as you all have! I lived there for 2 years and I loved it. The management is amazing. They are good hearted people. My fiance got really sick and was hospitalized for 3 months and they were very understanding. The inside of the apartments are really nice. The pool is always clean. Convenient laundry area right next to the pool. Also has a playground with a swing set for your kids. I would highly recommend this apartment complex especially if youre looking for a nice, quiet, and safe place for your kids.

Ive been living there for over 4 years and the only problem I had was the washers and dryers sucked. They recently renovated the laundry room and have all new equipment! The ladies in the office have always been helpful and understanding, and maintenance have always fixed my issues well and in a timely manner. They have a beautiful complex tucked away in a quite neighborhood. I dont see myself moving anytime soon!

This was my first apartment and it has been a great experience. Everyone has been super helpful and friendly.

Upon moving in, the unit was infected with pests; including roaches, spiders, and centipedes. Several calls has been made to the office to schedule pest control to come out, but no attempt to resolve the issue has been made. On January 22, 2018, which was our child’s birthday, both of our vehicles was towed due to registration; which resulted in us having to pay $700 to get both of our vehicles out. Our vehicles were operable and wasn’t on bricks, it’s sad that the people who pay rent there are targeted over b/s like registration. Having to pay that much money resulted in us not being able to celebrate our child’s birthday as planned. My car was broken into and all of my debit cards was stolen, along with my laptop and PlayStation. The staff in the office don’t care about any of the tenants, they just want money! We are very disappointed with this apartment complex and this by far has been the worse experience with a complex that we’ve ever had. Please save yourself & don’t move here. We can’t wait til the lease is up, there’s no way I can stay here any longer without going off on the staff. So I’m doing myself a favor and moving! WORSE COMPLEX EVER!!!!!

I have be living at The Broke Apartments for just over two years. I have had nothing but great a experience here. The staff is amazing and always willing to help the residents. The manager (Missy) is simple amazing and the two young ladies working in the front (Amanda and Tasha) are very professional and accommodating. I recommend this to be your next home.

I lived at these apartments for about a year and really loved it. Its cozy in a nice wooded area and the grounds are always kept up nicely. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance men always fixed things right away. This is a great place to rent from! They have the best prices in the area for great apartments. I have no complaints!

An absolutely wonderful place to live and the neighbors are quite friendly. The property is properly maintained and is pretty quiet which is a plus. The front office staff is beyond amazing and I really couldn’t ask for a better group of people. They are extremely helpful and go above and beyond for their tenants. Amanda has been a complete blessing with everything and always makes sure the residents are top priority and taken care of. She always goes the extra mile for the people that live here and is always so kind and cheerful. If there is a problem, the staff takes care of it and maintenance is quick and top notch with repairs, which is another plus! Overall, The Brooke is home and I plan on staying here for as long as I can!

The Brooke Apartment, staff and especially the Management Team of Tashia, Amanda and Missy are absolutely incredible. After living there for a couple years, I regretfully had to move out of town but while living there, any issues were handled promptly and correctly, the Management Team had a heart for understanding even while I became ill, hospitalized and in recovery. Great and aesthetically pleasing, well maintained property. My kiddo loved their pool and playground area. I couldnt say enough of this place, just an over all great experience and one I would recommend to anybody or any family living in or moving to the Temple area. Thank you Brooke Apartment Team, yall will be missed.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! we’ve had nothing but problems since we moved in in November from mold to leaks to electrical problems to our toilet barely ever works (always clogged) To our back screen to the back window always falls off. The list goes on. Fireplace and wall leaks. The Temple Health Department is about to get a call this time!!!!

This place seem to have scheme going with Rapid Recovery Towing, a company they have contracted to tow resident vehicles. Ive lived here for 3 month and have had my car towed twice. The first time the leasing office forgot to give me a parking permit. I missed a half day of work due to this oversight. When they issue me the parking pass (post tow and impound), I informed them that it would not fit on my rear view mirror console. The manager instructed me to just place it on the dash board of my car where it can be seen. Ive utilized that method every time I parked my car. Well...my car was towed again. The tow company claim they did not see it. I was also informed by the leasing office this morning that they informed everyone they upgraded to stickers (as parking permits)....citing they had too my occurrences of this nature (residence vehicles erroneously towed). The towing company is requiring me to pay $298, and the leasing has informed me that they will not assist. I asked for the corporate number and was given the number to a voicemail recording. I called the least back and was informed that they (corporate) typically replies to their voicemails within a day or two. Im going to pick up my car and immediately make arrangements to move out by the end of the month. Not to add there has been at least 4 instances of domestic violence or disturbance conveniently between 2 and 5 in the morning which woke me from my sleep.

I lived here for a year 2013-2014 and loved it. I lived in the newly renovated apt so it was really nice. Never had any bug problems. The staff was always so friendly and on top of things and maintenance was always very quick, despite me having to call about the same leaky sink problem several times, they didnt just come put a band-aid on it they tried everything possible to fix it. I never had any problems with neighbors or anything, it was always pretty quiet. I would have stayed longer but I moved cities for work. I would definitely recommend it.

Do NOT rent here if you ever need maintenance to do even the simplest task within a month. If you do, always schedule an appointment to make sure they do the job. I have had several issues. First of all, I was told the apartment would be ready at a certain date....they even wanted me to move up the move in date. When I moved in, you could tell it was renovated in a hurry. It wasnt even finished. It took a 3 months for them to order some cabinet doors and install them---after several e-mails and calls to the office. Ever since, it takes them more than a month to do anything when I put in a work order. I also have to be there because sometimes they will come and claim that nothing is wrong....and I have to put in another work order and wait another month or call the office several times for them to come any sooner. Please avoid the trouble and stay away from here!

The staff is very helpful and answer any questions in a timely manner. Ask for Amanda she is awesome!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Instance 1. Roaches EVERYWHERE despite the cleanliness and the supposedly “every Wednesday pest control.” It’s so bad I want to burn all my furniture and start over (if I could afford to). Instance 2. I’m fairly certain they do not screen renters, there have been multiple instances of cops being in this complex. Instance 3. My car was broken into and when brought to the staffs attention their response was “oh yeah a couple other people have said something too.” Instance 4. Forget about staying cool in the summer especially if you live on the top floor. Instance 5. There was a busted pipe not even in my building but I was affected and maintenance took their sweet time, my water was brown for two days!

In the summer, the A.C. does not work at all. Theres also SO MANY bugs that get in because they will not replace the screens on any window or door... I hate this place. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE.

This place is awful the staff is so rude especially Natalia. I mean the apartments are nice but the maintenance is terrible. I once had my A/C unit shut down on me and I sent in a request to fix it, and when he got to my apartment, he just said yeah its messed up I cant do anything about because its not 30 degrees or lower so its not an emergency. Well that night it got in the 20s and they didnt fix it till two days later. Also please READ the contract, because hidden in it says you basically have to pay for every little thing in the apartment when you move out. For example a single light bulb will cost you $4. Also they want you to clean the carpet when you move out or you can hire someone to clean it for you and alot other hidden fees. Also people smoke weed in the buildings and you could smell it. I got a knock on my door from Temple Police Department saying a maintenance man smelled weed from my apartment when I dont even smoke that crap and Im pretty sure a drug dealer lived in the building cross from me. Id always see cars come and go, park for about 1 minute then leave and I mean alot of cars especially at night. Awful place I wouldnt recommend it take your money else where

Its a good place to live if u dont mind ur apartment having issue after issue i have had to call them several times over something breaking and they just walk into ur apartment with no respect it also takes forever for them to come out no security here and over priced we will be leaving once our lease is up. Paying way to much for all these problems

This is by far the worst place to live. I have lived here for 3 years, ranging from 2013-2016. The place is not well maintained, the stairways at every appartment is extremely dirty. The ladies at the front office is not friendly, it seems they are more concerned about collecting your money than anything else. Definitely not a recommended place to live. The maintenance are short staff, but fairly decent people. The complex needs to maintain the look of the appartments, for example the grass is damage and needs to be fixed for years and all they do is maintain the one that is in front of the showcase apartment. Please dont be fooled by these people, they are arrogant selfish and not to mention they barely answer the office phone. Stay away!!! Not to mention the girl in the finance department she is horrible, she gets frustrated when asked to explain charges, which makes it very difficult to talk to her, I believe her name is Natalia. She has a nasty attitude. Please take your business else where.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy. I was always sure to keep lines of communication open with the staff. However, upon arriving at my previoisly discussed move-in time, my keys nor my apartment were ready. I had to wait an additional 2 hours just for my keys and was told to just hang out for a bit until they got my keys and apartment ready. It was like they had no recollection of our previous conversations. The apartment was okay, but over $800 (rent, a fluctuating water bill, and a montly water, trash, and other bill) for a 2 bed 2 bath was definitely not worth it considering everything in the apartment was cheap and broke easily. On top of that, maintenance was extremely slow and rude. My air conditioner broke 3 times during the dead of winter where it got below 30 degrees and I still had to wait days for heat. I was also constantly getting accused of turning in my rent late, and that they had video footage of me doing so, when I turned my rent in on time every month. Office staff was completely rude and useless. Neighbors were loud and both dealing and doing drugs all around me. Would not rent here again, and thankfully only had to suffer here for a year. 0/5

Do not move here!!! My son has had breathing problems on multiple occasions that required medical attention. The apartment is covered in black mold and several attempts to get it taken care of have gone unanswered. The disregard for health and safety is inexcusable.

Horrible horrible horrible. Everything about this apartment complex is a joke. Both cars were broken into multiple times and staff could careless. Neighbors smoked weed all the time and played music all though the night loud enough to shake windows. When telling office about it they brushed it off and basically bc they didn’t see it it didn’t happen. Apartments are not kept in neat conditions and you will be blamed for everything. Even if you fill the contract out letting them know something was wrong before you moved in. Maintenance just hang out at their shed all day or in office so nothing you request to get fixed will get fixed. Just beware the entrance is pretty but that’s about it.

The office staff hasnt responded to maintenance that I reported when I first moved in 3 months ago. They say theyll call you back but never do and usually try to pull some nonsense or fine you/inconvenience you further.They say their maintenance crew has months of work to do and I believe it from the way my apartment fell apart mere days after I moved in. Mold started growing in the ceilings of my bathroom, the oven doesnt work, theres ants that come out of the walls, the washer dryer unit had a hole in the ceiling and water leaks I managed to stop. (It took a letter to the city to get their maintence to come out within 30 minutes of them receiving it because they knew the city would make them act accordingly to renter law)Additionally if you have months of work logged up for them maybe you should get more repairmen? Or get some that do the job right the first time so they dont have to make repeat visits? Or hire some that finish the job at all? (Still waiting on the repeat visit for the hole in my ceiling)Theres a ton of dog feces everywhere at any area where theres grass, theres stray cats that live off the dumpsters, the insulation in the apartments is terrible and my air conditioner was leaking into my carpet the day after we started living there because the lazy worker they sent didnt actually check everything in the house like he should.They also try to nickel and dime you with small fees by sneaking in a new fee or bill every once in a whileAnd their review page is full of bots they paid for in order to balance out their reviews from 2 stars. Just check any 5 star review and it’s alwaus that account’s first and only review and it’s written in flower advertisement language. Gg ezAvoid living here at all costs and if you can without penalty sever your lease agreement.

This place is terrible and they made a clerical error in the lease and now are charging over 1,000 for it and won’t let me talk to a corporate manager. Do NOT rent from these scammers

Business Communication Skills = zero, I have been a resident here since 2009 on and off due to deployments. My experiences with Missy, Rob and Gary have been outstanding. Theyre attentive and pleasant. Now, as far as the accounts (so called) manager Richmark Properties would fare well to enroll Ms. Franklin in a college level business communications class along with a writing course as well. She is the epitome of the word crotchety and truly believes that shes in command. My dear, you are a liability not an asset to both the Brooke Apts and its higher echelon Richmark Properties. Yes, she freely administers nonsensical bills, of which she is completely unable to intelligently explain. She seems to be the local nightmare amongst all of the residents Ive encountered. My advice to future residents is to wait until she is relieved of her fake power before moving here.
