Tony did my nails and did amazing but the man (hair parted in the middle) who did my feet did a HORRIBLE job and I had an upgraded pedicure. I even had to ask for sugar scrub and rub my own feet. I will continue to have Tony do my nails though. The place is extremely clean and offer refreshments. Despite my pedicure experience I will continue to go to Venus Nails. Also the ambience is great.

My regular nail salon was booked for several days and I was in need of a new dip set on my natural nails. I called Venus and they said no problem and were able to fit me right in. When I got there an hour later I was immediately greeted and shown the dip colors to choose from. My nail technician, Kate, came over and helped me pick colors that matched. She was very friendly, quick with my nails but also did an amazing job. A week and a half later my nails still look amazing. This is definitely going to be my new nail salon! Thanks so much Kate!

This place is amazing all around. Beautiful ambiance, and great customer service. My first experience was coming in with a set of fresh nails from a different shop that I absolutely hated. I called 30 minutes to their closing time and they were able to do my nails. I explained to them what I wanted and the nail tech (Jen) made sure I was more than satisfied as a customer. She took her time, although they were getting ready to close..very much appreciated. I will be scheduling my next appointment with them for sure. Thank you!!

Amazing place. Serious luxurious spa, did a serious French pedicure with hot stone, legs waxed, eye brows done all at the same time by Anna, shes amazing. She stood super late to get it all done right....this is my new spot and worth every penny. I cant wait to come back again!....Thank you Anna and the crew for staying so late and accommodating to my needs.....

I did appreciate the fast response time considering we were a walk in. My two daughters enjoyed their manis and pedis. My pedi was fine until I got in the car and realized my scrub was ineffective. From the pictures I took five minutes after walking out, you can see that my feet still look dry and crusty. I had Hugo.

Holly was the worst nail tech I’ve ever encountered. She was clearly an amateur or beginner. She filed my nails in a uneven and odd shape. Some nails being longer than others. She then made me pay for my nails before finishing most likely because I’m black. She also attempted to polish my nails with a light color but it was patchy. She told me she can’t polish light colored nails unless I get Gel polish. And proceeded to have an attitude when I decided to change my color to a darker color because I they looked horrible because of her poor polishing skills. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this salon because of my poor experience and the nails tech poor skills and bad attitude.

They did a great job both hands and feet. Hanah by far one of my best foot massages. This place is also following COVID protocol. My next visit taking my whole family

I was on time for my appointment, and they did not start my service until over 30 minutes later. I asked for a Deluxe Manicure and a Deluxe Pedicure. The pedicure was mediocre, and very rushed. I have never had someone apply the lotion to my legs when they were wet, and there was no massage at all. So much for Deluxe. I actually was not given the Deluxe version of the Manicure, and it was also rushed. When I asked, the tech was not concerned that I was not given the service I asked for. I have never had both a manicure and a pedicure in under an hour, especially when getting the Deluxe version. I will not return to this salon.

Quickest pedicure I’ve ever received. I paid extra for a “deluxe pedicure”, I was there for a total of 22 minutes. There was nothing deluxe about having my nails trimmed, some lotion slapped on my legs and painting my toes. The gentleman could not have rushed me out of there any faster. Waste of $37. Would not recommend or return.

AMAZING! I’ve been so anxious about trying a new salon since I moved to Tampa, and Venus met all of my expectations! I highly recommend Chloe - she was by far the best nail technician I have ever had. She asked my feedback on each step of mani & pedi, and even mixed colors for me to get my perfect desired color. Mulan was unprofessioal and rude in all my experiences with her. I watched her say that God was punishing a customer when the customer had to step outside to cough. In over a year I have never witnessed her smile or be nice. She will rush through the job and gets angry if you ask to fix anything. Most techs there are very kind and patient and will politely fix any problems you have.

I had called 45 min ahead to get a spot yet when I got there I waited almost an hour for just a simple manicure. When someone finally took me, the technician left my broken nails in acetone gloves for another 30 min… my nails were BURNING! I had a girl named Mulan. She completely rushed and had horrible customer service. Will not be going back. Save your time and nails.

As far as aesthetic goes, Venus Nails is a beautiful salon. The large space is filled with arches and private rooms to ensure customers have a relaxing, “away from home” experience. If it wasn’t for my lackluster experience I would have given the salon a 5 star rating. Not only was my experience underwhelming from the rushed- manhandled service I received, leaving my cuticles looking worse for wear; I felt unwelcome.As someone who travels for work, I’m use to googling the best salons in the area, picking one, and going there to get my simple gel mani. My nails get done and I go on about my day. The difference is always in the experience, from the time I walk through the door until I leave, my experience as customer is everything. Imagine walking into a salon that you’re about to patron and not feeling welcomed. I didn’t add any additional services, I didn’t want anything to drink, I just wanted my nails to survive this experience so I could leave.Note to self (and others) don’t get your nails done at the last minute, it makes your options very limited. I’m coming to this place since 2017 and today was the last time .I have never had such a bad experience as a client anywhere in my life.The guy that did my nails (Sonny), Was absolutely brutal . He pull my hand, cut me, and it never even crossed his mind to apologize.Afterwards, he accidentally put the wrong color gel on me, did the most horrible job someone ever done to my nails (just look at the picture) and he had the audacity to try and charge me for it!My last visit I had bad work being done as wel but I decided to give the place a second chance because I’m going there for years !What a terrible second chance....A waste of 2 hours of my life for nothing

I have visited this salon a few times and I wanted to love it, I really did but I couldn’t. The environment is very relaxing and most of the staff has been very nice, however the quality is just not worth what you pay. My nails never last than more than a week before they begin to chip. The last visit was my breaking point. I asked for French and was given one coat of white which I could see through. I didn’t notice until he had already applied top coat. I asked him to fix them and he applied more coats on top. The white on my nails turned gray the next day and were super thick. I went back and the manager was nice enough to have them redone for free, but 8 days later, they started peeling. I just can’t reason paying $40 for a fill when I can’t even go two weeks!

Worst. Nail. Place. Ever. I saw serval roaches roaming around freely and I witnessed one of the employees knock it off the desk. And on top of that they tried to charge me 80$ for a FRENCH FILL!!! R U SERIOUS!? I am not spending my hard earned money on a roach infested fantasy.

I went yesterday for the first time. They fit me in for a mani/pedi wo an appointment and did a really great job. Prices are reasonable. It was clean and felt safe with staff wearing masks and the plexi at the nail stations. Massage pedi chairs were amazing! deff recommend.

It’s not my first time here, but I think it will be the last time. I always get the dip powder and my nails always look good and stay in a good shape for 2 weeks I never had any of them break or crack. But this time they started breaking from the 3rd day!!! the lady who did my nails her name is Mulan, just wanted to finish so fast and they weren’t even busy, the store had 3-4 customers including me. 3 stars for the times I was happy but not this time because it’s a waste of money specially after increasing the prices.

I definitely can recommend this place and will frequent. I was greeted immediately. My nail tech offered a drink and was friendly throughout our encounter. I requested a much needed pedicure—nothing too special but everything seemed clean and well-kept.Update 1-25-18I recently went a couple weeks ago and got a fill. I had to remove 2 stars. I went in and tried to get designs and ombré but the tech said she doesn’t do that. So I had to settle for something simple. I guess the techs present weren’t up to par with the current nail trends, which was very disappointing. I also got gel/acrylic which never chips. I haven’t done any hard labor or changed my regimen so I’m unsure as to why my nails are chipping. I really wish I didn’t go here for my manicure. Pedicures are great—it’s a no for manicures!

Oh my God! Where to begin?? I’m a regular client here, surprised I haven’t written a review already, and I’ve NEVER felt dissatisfied coming out of here. Customer service is amazing, prices are always reasonable, the ambiance is really relaxing, the pedicure space is very serene, finally and most importantly, the nail techs are some of the most kind, talented, and hardworking people in the game. They have SO MANY colors in all different formulas, so if you have a specific color in mind, not a worry bby! My acrylics have always been in amazing shape, pun intended, and last forever. There are endless possibilities here! The lash experiences I’ve had are immaculate, they will work with you if you have any concerns or allergies, & I found it really relaxing. They also have other services that’re worth looking into. They decorate for the holidays and it’s so cool to see them go ham through the year, especially Halloween, which makes me really happy. The bathrooms are really clean if you need to use the facilities, and if you can’t tell already, it’s my favorite place to get my nails done. They need to pat themselves on the back, really.

Lisa did a wonderful job on my nails. Very sweet and gentle tech. The place is beautiful and huge. This is my nail home away from home. So many colors to choose from.

So I’ll blame this on myself for not speaking up when I had the chance but I would never recommend this place for someone who’s looking for more nail art type of manicures. I went in hoping to get something like on the first picture. If they KNEW the look wasn’t achievable then why did they neglect to tell me?? When I got there, they didn’t have the color I wanted. Fine. Then said they couldn’t do a gradient.. but idk if I fully believe that cause I have a friend who always goes here and she’s definitely had gradients before... maybe it’s just gel polish they can’t do. Idk... but shouldn’t they have given me options if it wasn’t achievable with their gels? 🙄🙄 and finally, the nail tech that I had kept COUGHING on my hands. So gross. But again, I should’ve spoken up, and didn’t cause I didn’t wanna be rude. Gonna have to go somewhere else to fix them instead...

I have been frequenting this salon since I moved to Tampa 4 months ago. Finding a good nail tech for a woman is like finding a great barber for a man. I love this place. It’s always clean and my appointments are always on time. The quality of service is beyond 5 stars. Jen is my fav. She always does such an amazing job. Pedicure was okay, though I asked for deluxe and got the highest-priced one, which I had to pay for. Lady who it was awkward; it felt unwelcoming as others have mentioned. Guy at front desk was nice though, helpful. I asked for certain nail design (ombre with jewels and glitter), showed photo for reference. Ended up with ombre only, no design. Didnt confront the tech or anything, just settled, as I realized too late (nails were drying) that she was forgetting the designs. What bothers me most is my nails were left looking rough around the edges and like they need to be filled in more. Had I noticed while still in the salon I would have never left. I was charged $92, gave $100. Would not go back here, even though their designs on FB are really nice :(

Worst salon I have ever been too . I wanted just a regular pedicure . The nail technician sunny had no gloves on while doing my pedicure the whole time which is unprofessional. Once I told him just a regular pedicure he was upset that I didn’t pick a high price pedicure . Slammed the nail clipper on the salon chair . So I give the nail salon another chance went to get my nails done . My nail tech nanny she was using the nail tool too hard on my nails. The nail tool was getting too hot On my nails . I told her no more tool please. After I payed she rolled her eyes at me . go to another nail salon please .

Worst service! Went with a friend who recommended them. The people who did our nails were aggressive and oddly silent making faces and did not ask for opinions on coat colors. The woman who did my friends nails went into her purse and forced her to pay though her nails were still wet, she also awkwardly asked her for a tip and wrote everything. Mind you if the interaction had been positive the whole experience would have been different but the woman was just very aggressive and cold. She filed her nails without gauging a preference of shape. Forgot spacers on her toes and got nail color everywhere. When asking if her nails were dry she yelled yes and quickly walked off. And it gets worse my nail technician definitely knicked my cuticles saw me bleed said nothing and rubbed lotion ALL OVER MY ENGAGEMENT RING!!!! I tried to pull away but he was very aggressive and confused. He also somehow managed to get bright pink nail polish on my fingers! We are definitely never going back. Thank you for the worst job and experience ever Venus!

Best Salon experience I have ever had. I came in cramping, tired, full body aches, moody, completely off balance. By the time I left I felt brand new. The venue is beautiful, I loved the setup and arrangements of where each service took place. Gorgeous decor. Pedicure chairs were top notch with features that massaged your forearms neck and back. Vince was my nail tech; absolutely perfect. He was precise, efficient, fast, catered to my needs, with a very warm and calm energy. The management of the facility was well run. If something was out, not available or any situation with other customers came about, the manager handled it with a great attitude and solution. I live in a different but come to Tampa frequently, I will most definitely be making this salon my new go to.

I work around the corner from this nail salon and was recommended by my boss who said she has had such a great experience here every time she comes. I gave it a shot and so glad I did. All of the nail techs are so amazing, especially Tiffany and Christy.I drive over from St. Pete to come here on my days off because all the others I’ve been to are not as good as this place (my point of view). Highly recommend this nail salon to anyone.

When I first moved to Tampa, I was referred to another nail salon by people who lived in this area. I gave that salon a few tries, but my nails were never the way I wanted them. Then one day I found Venus nails and the rest was history. I would not go back to any other salon in the South Tampa area again.

Nice salon, great location, but my gel only lasted 9 days. Walked out the salon happy but had to come back in to have one redone only (the manager was kind and it was free and I added eyebrows as gesture) to have 3 more chip a few days later. Thats really rare for me as I can usually stretch them to 3 weeks without them chipping The way it was applied was unusual too. The pedicure was amazing and theyre pretty nice thats why Im going w 3 stars but gel application could be better. This may be one of the salons where it depends who you get. Got an eyebrow wax too. It was so, so. Again, probably depends on who you get. I cant come back with these results. Parking isnt good either.

Ok so I’ve been coming here for over a year now and I normally have a great experience with both manicures and pedicures. But today I went for just a pedicure (Ann was my technician which my friend had before last time I went) and she tried to up-sell like she’s supposed to (mentioned $5 something or other and kindly declined) and I decided on a BASIC pedicure plus gel. $28 pedicure plus it’s supposed to be like $8-$10 or something close for gel EVERY TIME I’ve gone. This turned into a $48 pedicure. I don’t even spend that for the DELUXE pedicure which is $35. I’m extremely upset about this experience. Like don’t take advantage of people because we don’t want to buy the most expensive pedicure. I always tip well regardless of what I spend. My toes look nice though. Only thing I’m happy about.

I really found a great place to get my nails pampered. I can say this amazing nail salon offers many amenities that I enjoy. Staff is so professional and the manager Rickie always a great listener. I came in with my girlfriend to both get a full set black with accessories on top, white gold crosses I had custom made. Your nail artists weren’t communicative the one working with my girl Nicole is actually the worst nail technician I’ve seen in my life. Left my girls hands covered in nail polish and just boof service BOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFF!!!!

I had an excellent experience. The decor is glamorous. The ambience is zen. The nail techs are friendly and talented.I’m not giving it 5 stars because 1. the chairs were too low, and 2. it seems the tech rushed my gel manicure a bit. The result was two slightly rough-edged nails.I would definitely return, though.

I love this place . When I lived here I always would come every two weeks to get my toes and nails done . It’s just so calm here and I usually end up falling asleep in the massage chair ! Everybody is always helpful and they always make sure you have a comfortable experience. Unfortunately I moved to Indiana but when I come visit I always make sure I come here to get my toes and nails done !!! ♥️

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! 1st time there.... The place is amazing so beautiful and clean....but once i proceeded to have my fill the tech told me how bad my other salon was and honestly I HAVE NEVER had an issue the only reason i went to venus was convenience. I am so unhappy with my nails the are all shaped wrong and unevenly filed. The painting is sub par. Was told they couldnt do designs and a fill cost me $55 which is crazy for something i feel i could have done at home. My daughter was with me and her nails were even worse. I will never return to this salon and will make the 45 minute drive to my regular salon.

I work two jobs and managed to get off work early just to come. I made it about 15 minutes before closing, and they said they wouldn’t take me because they are closed. Might as well make the closing time 4:30 if you are gonna stop taking people after then. Very irritating because I had a lot of money to spend and would’ve tipped very well as I usually do.

I’m visiting from Minneapolis and stopped in to get a dip manicure. I loved my experience. Super clean and professional. Great assortment of dip colors. Would totally go back!

My boss recommended this place and I have been going here for about 6 months now. No matter who does my nails they always are friendly and my nails turn out fantastic. A few of the girls have even suggested that I try some of the new trends and styles that I never would have thought of on my own, and I have never gotten more compliments from strangers on my manicure - plus they make you feel so pampered when you are there. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Quantity over quality is never a good thing..The customer service is good and the place is clean BUT the pedicures needs some work. My pedicure from start to finish was about 15min long. Then another 7-10min to paint them.Its totally not worth the money, a longer massage would be better. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Faye did an excellent job, took her time and is great at what she does. The salon is very large offering 28 super modern massage chairs for pedicures. Very clean and bright. Decent nail salon. They’ve always done a good job with my nails, but I have to say I do believe they are overpriced for the quality and the location. They are significantly more expensive than other nail salons nearby and their staff could most definitely be friendlier/more social.

Before I moved to Tampa 2 years ago, I was with my prior nail technician for 20 years. You can say they were my family! I tried 4 different nail salons before I found Venus Nails. I was immediately greeted by Ricky who listened to my needs and had me sit with a Jen. Ricky is so friendly and always has a smile. Jen’s work is meticulous and I constantly receive compliments on my nails. Bella does my pedicure and treats my feet with the same care Jen does with my nails. They are friendly, accommodating and make me feel welcome with each visit. I have a standing appointment every three weeks and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

I have been at least 4 times and 2 of those have been horrible experiences. My nails need to be redone and its been one week. I wish I could post a picture of how bad my nails are. I will not be returning.

I had my wedding party come here for mani pedis. We were allowed to bring food and they actually set up a table with cookies and snacks for us! It was a wonderful experience and we had about 12 people there. Thank you!

Stopped by while waiting for my husband’s flight to arrive. My nails were in terrible condition it was really embarrassing. Joy gave me the best mani-pedi ever and was very attentive to every detail!! I’ll be returning 😊😊
