Hair cut was okay, employees had no mask while working on customers that is ridiculous.

Stylist took time to listen to my needs and delivered the cut I asked for with precision.

Online checking wasnt working, there were only two people in the waiting room and they went from stylists in every chair down to one cutting and one massaging herself with the wand. An hour wait that was due to poor management and work ethic.This is an update to the review. I initially rated a 2 due to the above. I changed my rating to a 4. The regional manager called me to discuss the concerns and was extremely professional regarding how the situation was handled.

I always have a good experience at Sport Clips Edwardsville! I really like being able to sign in online, I can plan my arrival just in time. I like being able to select my stylist (Great job as always Nikki!) also, its a great system. They have have a good selection of products and the staff is always helpful. I also like that they send deal very often and also provide ways to help those in the service on occasion! Always good to help out others! Give Nikki and crew a call, youll be glad you did!Chris V.

My 7 yr old asks for gift cards for his presents to come here. He thinks he is the coolest person and really enjoys getting what he calls the special! They have always helped him get the lighting bolt streak or a kick butt Mohawk! To add they let me drop him at the front door and politely called to double check about the cut he was wanting.

The wait was garbage! First time going didnt know about the kiosk sign in. Upon learning about it the wait was rather over. First time going and had gotten my hair touched up twice in the last two weeks. I usually go to City Buzz in Granite City. They have messed up my hair on multiple occasions with numerous stylists. Casey did an amazing job! She is very skilled and talented. If you are looking for somewhere to get your hair done, you need look no further!

Having been using the services of Sport Clips of Edwardsville ever since they opened. I have the MVP treatment. I find that Nikki R gives me an excellent cut and style.

Not service related, the avg wait time @945am was already 2.5 hrs. This location desperately needs more staff.

Jen is awesome, has done my hair twice now and it came out great both times, wife says it looks really good, she also did an amazing job on my 16 year olds hair (think his turned out better than mine), Paige did a great job on my 6 year olds hair but wasnt afraid to ask Jen for advice and to touch it up. Only issue I have is the really long wait...but its expected sorta when they do great work

Reserved time on line with person who had the shortest wait time and then went to shop and sat for 45 minutes waiting for my turn. I finally was on deck with person I checked into ( not knowing I should have selected first available because 3 other people went ahead of me ) but she changed my time for another 30 minutes and ran to the back room with no explanation! Should have trusted my instincts and never gone. If I could give a 0 I would.

People are friendly.. Love their massage therapy and treating to customers. They have very good shampoo and conditioner which i like the most.

As a female who’s trying to grow out a buzz cut (thanks, COVID!), I needed an alternative to trim my hair after one too many times of trying (not so well) to do it myself. Though a little intimidated by the idea of going to [what I would consider] a predominantly male-served atmosphere, I felt completely comfortable having my hair shaped at Sports Clips in Edwardsville, IL. Casey was my stylist and listened to what I had to say re: what style I was going for and where I eventually want it to be. I will definitely come back to this location for future hairstyle needs as I’m attempting to grow out my hair.

I took my son to get a haircut. He had been to Sports Clips before. I paid $26 for the haircut and when we got to the car, I noticed that his hair was uneven and she had not tapered the back as we asked. I had to go home and clean up the cut. Have not been back since.

The online check-in is a mess. It assigns a time to show up but the times are off by 30-50 minutes. You will receive a text alert giving you 15 minutes to show up. Second time this has happened to me, I received the text alert almost 45 minutes before my assigned time. I still made it there in 17 minutes after leaving work in a rush but I missed my “window” and was put on the list with a 27 minute wait. I was told they would get me in and I know it’s not the workers fault and that’s the only reason this isn’t a 2 star review. Technology is supposed to make things easier, your app is the opposite of that.

I loved my haircut they told me that they usually dont do girls haircuts because its called Sports Clips but they did mine and they did an excellent job and I wish I could remember the ladies name but her hair was blond and that was long and she put long layers in my hair and my hair was really really long and she cut it down to my shoulders and I want to give her an A+

I am a very busy individual and schedule a block of time to get my hair cut every 2 weeks. I tip $22 every single time I visit, as I appreciate the service. I sign in online so I can have the most efficient experience. So this evening it was taking longer than usual, which I can understand, however when the stylist I requested is then told to take a gentleman that just arrived, with no check in, a neck trim before Me is unacceptable. I WILL NEVER give this location my business again. I work with the public and would never do something like this.

This was my first visit to the Glen Carbon location, my stylist Brittany was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She listened to my requests and the end result was spot on. She was engaging and professional. Highly recommend!

First experience and the best one so far. Lillian k. knows her stuff and is really good at it. The best part is for the first timers they give you a free upgrade which includes shampooing and massage which is so relaxing. The prices are reasonable and The staff is really friendly. Great place for haircut good people. I got the wash too. Hit towel, vibrating back massager, the first time you go there you get a discount. My bill was 20$ for haircut and wash but the discount made my bill out to be 5$. Super cheap. Always tip. I had some what long hair too and they cut my hair really nicely. Nice n short. Feels much better.

They cut my sons neck up and did a very bad job not happy at all

Price kept getting higher than original quote. Grown men who go here probably dont get it as they just want their hair cut, etc. Also I was extremely upset when gal took my underage son back to a low lit room without letting me know. Looked up son was gone. Even though it is an open doorway I couldnt see him. Felt the situation was unprofessional. I will never go back. Haircut was so, so. Not the worst but definitely not the best and it cost more in the end than the other place we ususally go even though original quote was lower.

My husband doesnt get a haircut often because hes not big on the salon situation but he always has a good experience here. Its a great atmosphere and everyone is very professional! His haircut always turns out how he wants and the online check in allows for him to not have to wait long!

This is the only place my son wants to go to get his hair cut. The girls are always amazing and do a great job with him. Just this past Monday we had to go in because he had got something stuck in his hair and he decided to cut it out instead of asking for help. Tuesday was picture day and I needed to see what could be done to help. I showed Brittany who has cut his hair before and we absolutely love her and she took him back. We didn’t change his hairstyle or anything and you couldn’t even tell what he had done when she was done. She is amazing and so sweet. Desiree did a great job! She helped me to understand all of the products and made sure that I got the exact haircut I was looking for. She even let me know about a free neck trim between appointments. 10/10 would recommend the Glen Carbon sports clips. Make sure to ask for the Manager Dez, she’s my favorite.

The girls here are all great stylists and are very nice and make sure youre comfortable and looking your best.

The staff here is always nice and willing to do whatever you like with your hair. The prices are very reasonable. I usually get the MVP upgrade which gets you a shampoo, scalp massage, hot towel, and shoulder massage with their massaging device. They give you your moneys worth with this package and it is very relaxing.

I have had mixed experiences here but theyve always done it right why I dropped a star is that sometimes it seems like someone has just gotten out of training and is struggling sometimes to understand my haircut needs whereas other people there and at other haircut businesses that understand my needs and start cutting and match my need. This is an expensive place but they do offer premium options over other chain based locations. One item is their own multiple televisions present so you may watch any number of football or any other sports events while getting your haircut which I would imagine is a major appeal to those who are following games but it still want a haircut. I also have a stadium style seating which is unique to this type of chain and can offer estimates. Unfortunately I have not seen any ability to do an online reservation so you are not having to wait when you show up.

I received a free mvp ($27) cut as a new customer from a local mailer. It was really neat! My stylist was great and the scalp massage could have lasted all day! I will say the chairs are pretty close together at the location I visited so talking with your stylist you are basically talking to everyone. If you are interested in the full service type of cut this would be something to check out.

Sydney is the absolute best. This is what she went to school for, and its what she wants to do as her career. It shows in her work. Fees are more than reasonable and they make you feel like a family member. Ill continue going to Sports Clips to see Sydney until I can afford to put her on my personal staff. ;)

Shelby was pretty cool. Left with a great cut and had a good conversation. Had to make a little fun of her for being a bit clumsy with the scissors but it was fun. Good atmosphere, had a bit of a wait time but I went in at a busy time so it wasnt a big deal.

This place is great, great atmosphere, great people, but most importantly the greatest hair stylist ever, Desiree. She does an absolutely amazing job with hair, shes like a hair artist. If this place lost her it would be like a canvas losing Picasso, or the renaissance losing Da Vinci, or the Avengers losing Iron man! Wait... Anyway, the point is Desiree brought to life for me that heroes arent born, theyre made. I thought there was no hope for my hair, that it would stay flat and straight and be the absolute boring mess it was born to be, but destiny had other plans. And lets just say destiny was Desiree and my hair was the hero. Thanks Des, you killed it.

This location is great, they always do a really good job. Yes, they are really busy a lot of the time and if they are when you get there, it is worth the wait. You will be very please with the haircut when they are done. The employees are always very friendly and just great at what they do!

Kim is AWESOME! Kim is the only stylist that my son will go to and she does a FANTASTIC job. He has thick hair with cowlicks but Kim knows exactly how to handle his hair. Id give Kim 10 stars if this was a possible rating. Also, Kim is VERY nice and always a pleasure!!

Online Check in is flawed....if you need to request a stylist, i recommend checking in online at 9am, and then come in whenever you want, it doesnt matter, you get to pass all the people in line that requested your stylist the traditional way 1st come first serve. I came in it said 10 min wait...then my stylist became available, but I got pushed back to 30 min wait because an online person who didnt request a stylist took my spot. What a joke. My son and I have been here several times. All the stylist have been friendly and have done a good job. We keep coming back. My son especially likes the MVP cut (when I get a coupon for it).

I really needed a haircut in the worst way. I had occasion to be in Edwardsville and decided that after I finished my business there l might as well give this place a try. I had to wait a while but not too long. The little girl who cut my hair did such a good job that I asked her for her business card. When l go back again I will know who to ask for.

I have been here multiple times, but my favorite stylist left. I have tried having different stylists cut my hair trying to find a new one and it is progressively getting worst. The last experience was the last straw. The hair cut was terrible. When I left I thought it might be because it needed to be styled with some product but that didnt fix it. I had to go to another stylist to have the cut fixed. To actually fix it she had to cut the a large portion of my hair off to make it look presentable.

Everyone working here are so nice! Always great to get a haircut here.
