Love coming here! The owner is so sweet. I finally found my nail lady! Her attention to detail is top notch and my nails last a loonngggg time. I get acrylic fill in with gel polish and their pricing is average for Tampa.

The customer service is outstanding each time I visit. Ive gone to other nail salons however they have not shown me the spectacular treatment ChannelSide Nail Salon does. I do pamper days one or two times out of the month and each time is so wonderful. Try them out you wont regret it what so ever.

Lovely place to go and get your nails, toes, waxing, & eyelash extensions! I gave them a 3⭐ because the man that was doing my nails didnt seem to understand what I wanted, pink & white! Of course I asked how much they were before I had them done, the lady said 45, nope its 65! Of course it was my fault that the price was so high, per the business! Excuses, you got tips.....well I asked for pink and white! Oh and I got a separation line between the pink and white! Im sorry please explain whats all extra. Thats just to name a few! Just be blunt as to what you want and the price! Then you shouldnt have any problems.My eyelashes look beautiful and so does my eyebrows! If she couldve done my nails too then Im sure that I would be happier!

I just moved to Florida from Chicago and I’ve never had such a beautiful set of nails done as I received at Channelside! The entire staff was super friendly, the clientele was eclectic, and the price was perfectly appropriate. I live in St. Pete but will be driving up to Tampa every two weeks from now on because I loved this nail salon so much!

It is in a very nice part of town . My friend and I are African American and very large, we were scared they would be rude . But they were super nice and very accommodating . I got a full set pink and white on my feet and nails . Diamond was perfect and fast, and Jamie was very good as well . I would recommend this place, and I will be back !

I went to this place for the first time to get French nails. I did my proper research about the pricing and services before I booked my appointment. However there were multiple issues during my experience in the salon. As I walked in my receptionist insists that I get gel nails which I repeatedly told her I don’t want gel nails. None of the tools they use were sterilized or seal ( meaning they have been used on the other customers and not properly cleaned) which is a big no no for me. The whole time I was there employees were conversing loudly to each other across the salon which were very disruptive. Even my manicurist was on her phone talking using her headphones. Finally when I was about to pay my check turned out to be 5 dollars extra for using more than one color for my for French tips. I asked the receptionist that there was no where and no one mentioned that it will be extra charge for more than one color for French tips but she was unable to explain and kept saying ‘extra charge’. Being located in the Channelside I did not expect such a service from a salon.

I absolutely LOVE coming here. The service and the staff is always so so sweet and engaging. It makes me feel at home compared to other salons. The service is quick and well-done and not too pricey like others in Tampa. I have definitely gone around to try to find my favorite nail salon near downtown Tampa and this one is at the top of my list! I enjoy going here and the quality experiences I always have!!

Wednesday night was my second time visiting this salon. I made an appointment for a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. Victoria did an outstanding job on my pedicure. I am also very happy with my dip set, however, have realized that some nail lengths on each hand are not the same. For instance, my thumb nails are different lengths.My biggest suggestion would be to make an appointment for this salon! They were extremely busy and had to turn away multiple walk-in customers during my appointment.

Always the best service! They find a way to fit you in no matter how busy. The nail techs are all so nice and the receptionist is very helpful. I love going here once a month. My gel manicure always lasts 3-4 weeks.

I have been here three times now and I am pretty unimpressed. My regular polish pedicures when I paint them at home or get them done elsewhere normally last just like gel on me, but they were chipped within a week or two. I opted for gel this time to make them last longer and it was $18 more, seems like way too much. I also got the basic pedicure which should have included more than a 20 second foot/calf massage that I got. My dip nails 2/3 times now have not resembled the sample color that I chose even remotely. I would NEVER choose as pink of a color that my nails turned out. When I compared to the sample I chose afterwards, I was told by the owner “that’s why we show you it painted on an acrylic nail first, because over time the colors on the sample fade.” I didn’t pay attention because I assumed the color would represent the color I chose, as it should, or it should be removed as a sample. They were not willing to charge me less and I did not have the time to have them redone. I also have one nail that is much shorter than the rest that was NOT that short before lol, and hanging cuticles everywhere. Overall, the majority of the staff lacks communication and meticulous nail care. Save your money and frustration and avoid this place that seems way too nice for the services they provide. :)

When I say it’s literally been YEARS since I have had someone care about getting the shape right on my nails (coffin), it’s literally been YEARS. Jenny did my nails yesterday and took the time and care every technician should take to make sure that all of my nails were an even length and an excellent shape. Couldn’t be happier with my service. I am new to the area and she will be my regular nail technician. I know, I know, it’s just nails. But seriously... finding someone who truly cares about their work is hard to find without spending an arm and a leg. I’ve been to probably 6 different salons in the St Pete/Tampa area and I have been displeased with my service every single time either because the price was so astronomical along with a “meh” service or the service was just down right awful with a wonky shape to my nails. I remember specifically going to 2 salons in downtown St Pete- one was Le Nail where I spent 150 on two pedicures that were NOT worth the price and the other was Paint Nail Bar where my entire full set fell off in less than a week (maybe it’s because they only do “natural” nails and don’t use electric files, idk. But she told me they’d last 3 weeks. What a joke). Thank you Jenny again for doing an excellent job on my nails. I’m so incredibly pleased if I haven’t mentioned it a bunch of times in this review already. Be back in 2 weeks!

I absolutely love Sonda and Julie! They do a great job with my dip powder nails. Sonda is the owner and is so accommodating. Her shop has more colors than any nail salon I’ve ever seen before - including glitters, glow in the dark, and seasonal options... and she keeps buying more!! It’s incredible how many colors there are. It might take you a few minutes to pick one LOL. But the selection is absolutely amazing. I’ve seen other people get complex nail designs like marble, characters and themes. All of them came out impeccable. The salon is super clean and well maintained.

Came here on a whim with a friend, they were able to get us both in with short notice. A few other folks were there when we arrived but we were helped and seated right away. The whole place was clean and everyone was really nice. I went for the $45 pedi option that came with the stone massage and it was SO NICE! My feet and calves felt so nice and relaxed and the polish was applied perfectly. Very satisfied and will happily return

Which is ridiculous but even when I told the woman I did not like the color, she just continued to upsell her product. I doubt I will go back.

Worst nail salon in Tampa. They have no regard for anyone’s time- I make appointments, leave work to get there on time and then get told I need to wait up to 30 minutes- after they leave me sitting for 15.Other times I’ve gone my bails break off. Don’t go here!

Terrible place to go The owner is Extremely rudeI had an ombre dip done the next day the powder came off I called the salon to inform them of what had happened she instructed me to come in I did go in upon me going in I was told that I cannot be seen Ill have to come back tomorrow I run a busy schedule I do not have time for Nonsense Nonsense and the owner didnt have the decency to talk to me she me she sent someone else to talk to me now mind you When I was there the very 1st time having this treatment done I noticed a lot of people were coming in because they had their nails done and they need Ed her to fix it again it had messed up But yet still I decided to sit there and have continued with my process not knowing that I would have had this horrible experiencemanicure with them Which the nails came out as a hole the next day Which the nails came out as a whole the next day

Service was excellent. Pedicures turned out amazing. Corduroy the dog was the icing on the cake and did a few tricks for us with a water bottle.

Came in a half hour before closing and they fit in myself and two others with me. Two first timers and made us feel very comfortable. Very reasonably priced. Excellent experience. If I lived in town, I’d become a regular.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I started coming here because it was convenient and within walking distance. I continued coming here because they do a PHENOMENAL job. I have to keep up with my manicures because I keep my nails long and they require regular attention; that said, I am very very picky with how they are cared for. Genuinely 100% I have never received a better, more attentive and detailed manicure than with Lily. I refuse to go anywhere else. I am moving out of Channelside and will still drive back biweekly for my manicures. This place is professional and kind, and they take their time with all of their appointments (my manicures take like 75 minutes, it’s amazing) Typically nail salons rush you in and out so they can get more people in the chairs, and it results in sloppy work that chips and needs to be redone in a week. Not here! In November, Lily did a shellac that lasted FOUR WEEKS, no chips, no peel, perfect looking with just nail outgrowth as proof of how long it had been. Best part? They charge very average prices for their services.Bottom line: best nail salon in Tampa. Don’t waste time or money going anywhere else.

I was excited to try Channelside nails as I justmoved next door. After the terrible customer service I received today I will never get my nails done here again. The girl who did my nails was rude and highly unprofessional. She had AirPods in the the whole appointment talking on the phone, did not listen to a word I said about my nails, and burnt my finger with the Dremel tool. At one point the whole staff was yelling at each other and the salon is aesthetically sub par. I will never go back to Channelside nails.

Stopped in last minute and they were able to take two of us right away. The place is very clean and the staff are super friendly and thorough. This would be my go to place if I were local.

Been going here for years and they always do a great job. Attention to detail & customer satisfaction. I love my cats eye gel nail color that I just got today. . . had it done right before NYE too & got lots of compliments on it. Lasted just under 3 weeks.

Ask for Diamond (shes from Cuba). She gave me the most meticulous manicure and dip of my life. I am super picky and have stormed out if many nail salons in my life. But Diamind at Channelside really cares about the quality of her work. First, she soaked off my old dip without any wear or tear to my nails (it slid right off). When she re-did them, she sculpted them delicately with a thin shell (not thick--they look totally natural, but very sturdy)--again, without ANY DAMAGE or drilling to my nails. Then she did a meticulous polish job. The manicure was also flawless, trimming the cuticles. Many other nail techs do a quick, okay job or poor job, but she was outstanding. And then she gave me a perfect brow wax.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Almost 2 hours for the nail tech to put acrylic on my hands. Didnt file, shape or polish, I had to leave as I had run out of time. The owner yelled at me for leaving, even though I paid. The kicker? I had asked for gel, and made that very clear several times, even on the sign in sheet where I put my name. Owner refused to work with me, even went so far as to say, on the phone, they will call the police and lie if they have to if I disputed charges with my credit card company. So I disputed the charges with my credit card company. Owner falsified documents, and it took just about a year but they finally found in my favor. Shady people shady owner. Buyer beware.

I got a facial that included so much more . It was relaxing and very thorough 😌 at first I thought it was just a basic facial but she took her time I left feeling surprised and very satisfied .

Was visiting in town for a big test and decided to stop in for a quick pedi to relax despite all the negative reviews. My friend and I were both very pleased and felt the staff was nice and professional. We didn’t feel rushed and brushed off. The place isn’t the nicest or most relaxing ambiance but for a last minute pedi, I give 5 stars! It met my expectations and I’m satisfied.

Made an appointment for 3:45. Showed up at 3:50 (my bad but I had never been and wasnt sure about parking). Picked my color and had foil wraps to remove my old dip. Sat with hands wrapped and in a plastic bag- which in case you were wondering having nail polish remover on skin in a plastic bag for 30 minutes burns. It wasnt until 4:25 (mind you my appointment was supposed to end by 4:35) that I said Id had enough and had to leave as I had to pick up my kids from daycare by a certain time. Wasted my afternoon and had to leave with nails that werent done. If I could give zero stars I would.

They were good. Everyone talked about my nails and how they liked them.

Sadly not as nice a salon as Id hoped. Manicure was fine. It did seem like the employees didnt get along very well.

This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. I got a basic pedicure and the guy doing it barely touched my feet and threw some nail polish on my nails. It took all of maybe 10 minutes and once he was done he threw the towel down walked away with an annoyed look on his face. When I complained to the nearest nail tech they explained that it was because he “doesn’t like black people.” I immediately went to leave and refused to pay for this $25 terrible pedicure. The owner (or who I believed to be the owner) started yelling at me and telling me that I had to pay or she’d call the cops. I tried to explain to her that the pedicure wasn’t done correctly and she continued to yell and tell me that if I wanted a better pedicure I should have gotten a more expensive package. I offered to just pay $10 and they threatened to call the cops again. After 10 minutes of going back and forth. They told me the lowest they could go was $15. I paid the $15 and left. This place is blatantly racist and the service is terrible.

I had my nails done on 6-18-2018 and the very next day, some of the nails started to bubble. I called the owner on 6-22-2018 and she asked for me to come in after ten on 6-23-2018 and they’d fix my nails for me. The owner asked could she help me, and there were several customers in the salon. When I told her Inwas the person she spoke to last night, she claimed she didn’t know who I was, as well as the two girls who did my nails for me on 6-18-2018. The owner stated I never got my nails done at their salon. I told the owner for $98.00 someone needed to fix my nails. They didn’t want to fix my nails until I started to walk out. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Don’t bother wasting your money here. They did only a KIND OF decent job on my nails. Thank goodness I only asked for a manicure. I sat down to be attacked by gnats the entire time! And while I was swatting then away the tech doing my nails said “leave my pets alone”. I cannot make this up! I was so pissed by these gnats that were everywhere that I couldn’t even TRY to enjoy my manicure. I won’t be returning. EVER. Her joke wasn’t funny. Bye!

Channelside Nail Salon is the best - very efficient, fast and everyone is so sweet. Minh personally does my pedi and mani - she is so awesome and so fun to talk to. Definitely recommend this nail salon if youre in the Channelside/Downtown Tampa area!!! Cherry on top is the price is not outrageous. :)

I set up an appointment the night before to get a gel fill for 9:30 this morning. They say online and on their doors that they open at 9:30... so when I got there at 9:26 for my scheduled appointment, I waited there for 20 minutes before I decided to just go somewhere else. No one was there y’all!!! And when I was telling one of the girls at the new salon I went to, they told me a horrific story about how they went and had a roach crawl on them 😭 more upset at the lack of professionalism. Can’t speak for their work or cleanliness. BUT I ended up going to Pearl Salon on Ashley dr and it was SOOOOOO nice! If you go, ask for Sevette. 😍 they open at 10 but she’s there everyday at 9.

Best shellac manicure I have EVER received. Lele is 5 stars. Salon is clean, chic and has a great selection of colors. I was in an out in 45 minutes. Definitely my go to nail salon.

Oh lord forgive me, I don’t normally make bad comments because I know everyone has an off day and there are usually a mix of factors to consider. But in short : Im in agony after my treatment and everything went wrong 1) She ripped a nail 2) filed so thin my fingers are tender 4 days after 3) the shape/colour were wrong 4) overcharged. My fingers are throbbing. It’s not like she couldn’t feel/see me flinching! Ive had a lot of treatments around the globe m worst sofar.....

Literally just left this salon as a walk-in and what an AWESOME experience!!! Gel polish change with designs done by Nina! She did such a fab job and is such a sweetheart! Can’t wait to see her next year on my vacation!!! I will BE BACK!!!!

HORRIBLE! Only values money. Walked in to get a quick color change and asked if they had time. They said yes and then made me sit there for 20-25 minutes before I just got up and left. Told me 5 minutes. There were other people available but went to the back. Also they charge $10 just to take off nail polish and put a new one on. Thats $2 less than a full manicure! There are many other salons in the area to chose from.

Decided to try this place since it is so close to my house, worst mistake ever!!! Got dip manicure (I usually got this at my regular spot) 2 weeks later my nail turned green and I find out it’s fungus! Don’t offer a service if you aren’t educated in how it’s done correctly.

It was a little dirty, and they didn’t have a good appointment method, but they did some beautiful nails for me that I loved and they were friendly and professional.

I love this place, Im always satisfied with my acrylics and they have the best most relaxing pedicures. I highly recommend this salon. While they are a touch more expensive its so worth it!!!!!

Best SNS manicure. I’ve been to many salons in Tampa and this one seriously has the best manicures. I had an older woman who took her time and was skilled enough for a French tip SNS manicure. It lasted two weeks with no lifting from the nail bed. So worth the money.

Had the nail dip powder application. Started to chip and peel the first few days. Returned back on the 7th day to show them the poor application and allow them a chance to correct it. They fixed it for $30, a $10 discount. The application should last three weeks it didn’t last 4 days and to practically charge me full price to fix their crappy work. Never ever would I visit them again.

Ive had my nails done twice here on my lunch break from work. The first time I went I had an older lady do my shellac manicure and it was PERFECT! She took her time and really cleaned them up well. The second time, I had my hands and feet done at the same time. The girl doing my pedicure was on a FaceTime call for half of my service which I found very unprofessional. I was extremely uncomfortable once she brought the nippers out and continued her conversation because I didnt feel like her full attention was there. I will probably go back in the future but will request someone else to do my services.

This is the only place in Tampa Bay I go to my nails done. I initially started going because of the convenience of a nail salon right in Grand Central. However, I have continued to go because the quality of services offered is second to none.The salon is very clean and comfortable. The owner (Shonda) is always there to greet customers and get last minute appointments or walk-ins serviced as soon as possible. When I’m short on time they can do my gel mani and gel pedi simultaneously, which saves me tremendous amounts of time and doesn’t compromise the quality of the mani or pedi at all- a service I have not encountered at other salons. They use quality products, the lacquers never appear old, and they always have the newest OPI colors (in addition to several other brands) available to choose from.The staff is friendly and everyone there is exceptional at what they do. No matter who does my mani or pedi - I know my nails are going to look exactly how I want them to when I leave. I prefer the SNS dip manicure and I truly can say that every time my manicure is flawless and still looks fresh weeks later.I no longer live in Grand Central but now make a 45 min commute to Channelside Nails for all my mani/pedi needs because the quality of the services they provide simply cannot be found elsewhere.

Made an appointment last minute, my pedicure was AMAZING and I got the best eyebrow wax I’ve ever had, pricing was great too! I will be back!

Absolutely terrible and unprofessional salon. They used the same gloves on each of their clients. It’s a gross place and expensive.

Worst nail experience! Their gel and SNS colors don’t match the samples and they gave me attitude for complaining about it..tried 3 times to pick a color and not one matched! Very rushed and didn’t do a good job in the slightest. Extremely overpriced for what you get.

Called ahead for a pedicure and full set and after 2 hours I walked out with only a basic pedicure. They were slow and I guess did not have enough people working to deal with all the clients they had. My pedicure was okay, my feet weren’t scrubbed fully so I have to do that myself at home.

2:40 appointment for a pedicure with Tony & a gel manicure with Saina. Arrived at 2:30. Tony took me as soon as he finished his other client which was around 3:15. Saina took 4 walk ins and then asked me to wait another 20 minutes as she started yet ANOTHER walk in. I didnt leave until 4pm - and only got a pedicure. Unacceptable, especially as a regular.
