I had the most wonderful experience training here. The owner, staff and members was so helpful. I will definitely train here everytime I visit Tampa. I recommend this facility to everyone.

Great atmosphere and very professional people who go to the gym and owners and the people are very serious about their workout they dont cut into your routine and hold up the equipment which makes it nice to follow your routine! The gentleman that come to this gym are very respectful toward the women so if youre a woman this is a good gym for you to come to where you wont get hit on and you can concentrate on your work out! Great place!

This gym has gone through a major reconstruction and the staff is beyond amazing. Clean, professional, and allows you the opportunity to get in and out quick without having to wait on machines like those commercialized gyms. Seriously, come check it out and see for yourself

Hey USF guys!! If you’re tired of the USF gym, the people, and their hour changes and requirements come to this one!! Just past the highway and an awesome place. Never super busy and everyone is kind. Excellent equipment selection and the staff is super cool. One of the best decisions I’ve made. They like students here too

Been a member for over a year and it’s exactly what i was looking for! Not super busy, a machine for anything and everything you would need. Plus the staff is always super friendly and working hard to improve the gym!

We’re going to this gym for years wouldn’t go anywhere else 24 hour access for a very reasonable price. People come here to work out not take selfie’s in the mayors endlessly like those other places so if you’re serious about working out do you want to put the work in this is the place you wanna go

I’ve been a member for over 3 years and this gym is the real deal. The previous owner, Jerry, and new owner, Eddie, are both awesome! Powerhouse on N. Florida is a great place for beginners, families, and advanced fitness enthusiasts.Cleaning protocols are performed regularly, personally witnessed. Spray bottles with cleaner and paper towels are stocked and always available for members to clean equipment after use.If you need a personal trainer, they have independent highly experienced trainers on-site for you to work with if you need a good kick start or on-going guidance. I was always nervous to come to the gym until I found powerhouse gym the atmosphere is warming welcoming and a family run business which made me feel more secure and confident in working out.There are a lot of professional athletes as well as professional people that come here. They are all friendly and welcoming and willing to help if I ever get stuck in a work out. I highly recommend this gym for any newcomers or elite people committed to their fitness goals.

I love this gym! When I think of the movies like ROCKY they trained in gyms like this. They have pictures of champion bodybuilders all over the walls (thats how you know youre in the right place.) The owner Jerry is very professional and his staff is as well. This is not some big chain gym that has no personal connection to its members, mission values, or help if you need it.....they take it personal, imagine that.... Great job powerhouse!

How anybody could give this gym less than 5 stars truly doesn’t belong at Powerhouse anyways. I’ve been there for 5 years now and it’s my home away from home. You will not find better prices either. It’s the last of the dying breed when it comes to the old school equipment that I love. I’ve met so many awesome people there too that I now call my family. Thank you Jerry for one of the best gyms I have ever lifted in

The gym has great hours and it’s the perfect size to come in for a good workout and leave in a timely manner. They have all the basic equipment you need for a solid workout

It has all weight lifting equipment that you’d want. The cardio equipment is all old and don’t work properly as they should. If you want to pay for 24hr access this is the place for you. But outside that accommodation nothing else special offered here. Management could do a better job cleaning equipment

This is a GOOD gym. If the owner got some newer equipment an an power bars so help accommodate everyone. So we dont have to hunt down the only 2 in the building. An better matinance on the old equipment. Like this stuff rust is older than me. This has been a ongoing complaint for years. It can make the gym go from GOOD to GREAT👌🏾.

Best gym you’ll ever find! 24 hour access 7 days a week! Very affordable gym with the old school look. Anyone is welcome to join whether you are a professional or just an average person like myself trying to stay in shape. People that workout in this gym are very friendly. The owner is the most laid back guy you’ll ever meet. His staff that works for him are also very courteous to members and are more than willing to show you around this amazing gym. I’ve been hooked to this gym since 2015 and I wish I had signed up before then.

If you’re into an affordable gym that is no nonsense compared to a chain gym, with all the equipment imaginable, and a smaller lifting community of athletes and staff, this is the gym for you. It may look like you’re stepping in the past with some of the equipment but it’s tried and true. Be prepared to meet your goals wether it be total fitness or big gains. Located in North Tampa it’s not far from USF or other attractions.

Amazing gym not only is the staff amazing but the members as well. No one gives you a problem when you ask for a spot or share equipment with them. Their cardio machines do need to be updated.

Old school feel with some serious equipment, if you dont get a great workout in here, your the problem.

Old school and you will get results. Wear stilts in the shower. There are several small toilets against the rear wall as these were small businesss that had walls knocked out to make a gym ..................and people have bowel movements all the time stinking up the place. Fights once a month there and if you need any juice or roids.............head there. I used to roid up and got my start there. Filthy bathrooms and air conditioning is bad bad BAD. So is parking. No shirts required either. 60% ghetto members.
