My friend Pete is 70 and recently released from the VA Hospital after 6 months there following a stroke. He asked me to find a barber for him. He wanted a shave and a haircut. I Googled barbers in Citrus Park and found a few. Willie T had great reviews so I called and we went around 6PM today. Johnny took care of Pete and did a great job. Everyone was very friendly. The place was clean and neat, even the restroom!. DJ, the owner, learned that Pete is a Vet and gave him some info on where to get help with VA benefits. DJ introduced me to a young man who said he has been getting his hair cut there since he was a little boy. Willie T barber shop raised money to help send him to Loyola University in Louisiana. DJ said he gives back to the community, along with help from Derrick Brooks - Buccaneer. DJ wants to serve food to his customers and we all agreed that would be really nice. I bought some 50/50 raffle tickets to help with the scholarships. We were welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend Willie T Barber Shop

Ive been going to Willies for about 8 years. The shop is nice. Willie is professional and knowledgeable. After hearing about the shop being sold to DJ I had to leave. DJ is unbearable at times. Rude, obnoxious, always in your face and forces you to talk when you just want to talk to your barber and get a haircut. Hope he doesnt kill the business there. He will drive away the good barber.

Theyre usually pretty good but the cut I just got is noticeable worse. He took off way more hair than I wanted and too much off the sides. The appointment felt rushed too even though I booked an appointment

NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE !I went to Willies for a little over 2 years. It was the first and only barbershop I went to, after moving from up north. It was a great shop to be at, with a great atmosphere. Once the shop was sold and taken over by DJ, I refused to go back. DJ is loud, obnoxious, and makes people uncomfortable. I hope they can figure it out - it would be sad to see such a great barbershop go to waste.

The most Honest and Respectable place to get an excellent Haircut and a interesting conversation. They usually have topics and everyones opinion gets heard without pre-conceived prejudices. Very accommodating to every ethnicity. Did I mention excellent Barbers with appointment logs - so call ahead. They do take walk-ins but appointments come first. I have been going to this barber shop since 2007.

Used to be a great shop to go to until the recent management change. The new owner “DJ” has many unnecessary and somewhat inappropriate conversations involving the entire shop and has caused a drop in the morale within the shop. He’s also caused one of the better babers to leave and and such I have looked into a new shop for my cuts.

I have been coming to this barbershop for sometime now and have always enjoyed the environment, the people and the barbers. However, when D.J. is in the shop a sense of professional decorum diminishes which alteres the once pleasant environment into a loud and unwelcoming one. I am open to discussion on any subject but understand and respect ones ability and right to not want to engage in such matters. This barbershop has turned into a loud discussion zone with little to no respect for those around who didn’t come for a discussion, rather a hair cut. It’s an environment of say anything, to which those who choose to engage may or may not enjoy, but those who choose not to have to be subjected to with little to no regard of the possibility of offending someone. This is all carried out in a unnecessarily loud manner which makes not hearing the subject at hand impossible. This shop isn’t what it once was when D.J. is around.

This location is the best. I go out of my way as Ive had a much better experience with their stylists.

I was sad to hear of the change in ownership. I met and got my haircut by Mr Willie over 20 years ago and after meeting a customer of mine! We talk and he asked where I got my haircut I said after moving away and not trusting anyone in a long time I did it myself. He gave me his card and the name of the shop caught my eye, And on my first visit I was pleased with the shop and my sons first haircuts! It’s sad to say that after all the memories with my sons I was told that the shop had sold? And upset me and my boys the new owner is someone I’m not interested in spending my money or bringing my sons to a disrespectful individual thats careless of others space and time!!!

I used to get my hair cut here but one of the guys who cut my hair moved to another shop. I still went into Willie T and waited for an hour while other people came in after me and they were called before me when I was the last one left in the shop one of the barbers left and did not say a word so I just got up and left. I been going here for over a year but no more they did not even acknowledge I was there.

My sons barber was booked and my mother decided to take him to a place weve never been to. This is the result! My Mama Bear wants to come out SOOO bad, but I responded with grace and decided to call the shop. I spoke kindly and explained and asked if I could text him the picture.
