We drove from Atlanta to Tampa last week to catch a cruise. Noticed that a wheel bearing was going bad during the drive down. Have had tires changed and rotated, and oil changes performed here. No complaints. Get there at opening if you want to wait for your vehicle. Kudos, also, for helping me discover Id been ripped off by a local Chevrolet Dealer on Florida (who advertises on TV a lot), when I went in there with a coupon for their oil change, only to discover that they charged me, and did not change my oil at all! Competent work for a fair dollar is all anyone wants.

I have a 2010 Sprinter Van RV I bought used which came from up north... and it has a lot of rust underneath.Well, the generator exhaust pipe fell off due to rust ... and we were leaving for a 5 week trip to California in 2 days.I called all around today, desperate for help. Every muffler shop I called either could bend the exhaust pipe or accommodate a 22 ft van... but not both.When I called Fosters, Jessie answered the phone. I explained the issue & the rush. Jessie said to drop it by as soon as I can and he’ll gladly take a look at it.Upon seeing the issue, Jessie said I can fix your exhaust, just give me a few hours.Jessie is amazing, a life saver... not only is the new exhaust perfect, he also added another metal brace for the generator as the current one was questionable due to rust damage... best experience ever.I will forever use this company for mufflers & let anyone know... EXCELLENT company & staff... especially Jessie, you were my angel today.... you saved my trip when no one else would help... I truly, truly appreciate it.

Good honest mechanics, usually a faster than expected turn around with an upfront quote. Always courteous and polite service. Have had to have a few of the dreaded this is also broken calls but I never feel like Im being gouged or taken advantage of. Not as cheap as your shade tree mechanic but worth every penny. I get a great value and if something goes wrong, they stand behind their work. Cheaper and faster than the large chains. Great little family run shop.

I was just there. I have to say this has been the singularly best experience Ive ever had from an auto repair shop. I am a woman traveling alone from NY state. I had been to 2 other repair shops who were clearly gouging me on price before I just started looking for positive reviews and found Fosters. They were the nicest people and they immediately set my mind at ease. They found an additional problem (a leak that they showed me which was pretty bad) that the other 2 shops were unaware of, and they are fixing it at a cost of less than half of what their chain competition was charging for just the 1 fix. I HIGHLY recommend them for any and all of your automotive repair needs. I thank them so much for the outstanding service. Seriously, thanks guys.

I’ve had my exhaust fixed 3-4 times at mad hatter and other muffler shops for the same issues which costed me about 100$ each time, these folks did the job the way I liked and only for around 40$. Plus they have the really low ramps for any low car guys.

They did a full inspection on my mustang and knew how to fix the ac tubing as it was a simple in and out...he let me know about my compressor leak but after 3 yrs it still blows cold! This shop, never tried selling me a car as they are a garage for fixing and replacing, not a car lot, and the only lemons they had were fresh squeezed from next door! I will definitely be coming back and using their services for maintaining my vehicles in the future as they are very knowledgeable and very very fair on price! Thanks Foster!

Nice people but way too over priced. They were charging $500 to get a radiator fixed, when i just bought the piece for $135 at advanced auto parts. They said they extra money was for the 3 hours it would take to fix. Not sure what there per hour rate is but 100 per hour sounds like much.

My family recently took a cruise out of Tampa FL. When we returned to Tampa and retrieved our vehicle to make our trip home to Virginia and our battery was dead. We got a jump and when we turned on our AC everything started smoking. We had no idea what we were dealing with. We stumbled across Fosters by pure luck. They checked out our vehicle right away and had us back on the road in no time. When they could have taken advantage of up being tourist but they did not. Charging us $ 20.00 and would not even accept a tip. We were so grateful for them and dont know what we would have done with out them. These honest family businesses are very hard to come by these days. Please support them and local business across America.

I bought a used car from foster for 1200.00$, with the understanding that it was a good running car that was not cosmetically attractive. The paint was worn, and the seats faded and torn. But within one month the Head Gasket Blew out, the alternator died, the starter failed and now I am being told that the oxygen sensor does not work and thus why it can not idle well. I feel that the mechanics knew of the additional problems and failed to disclosed it just to make the sale. Then they under played other problem, such as the drivers door was not unlocking properly. They said it just needed some wd-40 to loosen it up. Now 40 days later the door doesnt even close. I had to screw in a latch so that I can drive the car. Basically I was sold a patched up lemon and they were aware of that. They must be good mechanics to make this lemon run long for a while. But they will still sell you a lemon.

I drove to work and my Chevy Tahoe was smoking in the rear. Called around and found Fosters Auto within a mile from work. Later they called back saying that I needed all 4 new tires, front and rear brakes and front and rear rotors, rear calipers and oil change, for the price of around $1695.00. Because I was at work and needed my vehicle I gave the ok. A few days later I realized my old oil change sticker was still in the window and the check oil light was on. Had I not seen these things I would have never knew and could have blew my engine without oil in it driving an hour each way to work. When I called they told me it was changed and when I asked them to please double check the man said it was never done, and to just bring it down. So, on my 12 hour work day I take my 30 minute lunch break to bring it back down here. Spoke to the owner and he said something to the affect of, some people get upset about cars but I dont I work on them all the time, if it was myy kids Id be upset and walked back into the garage. Well, buddy that vehicle drives my children and grandchildren daily and Ive never paid for anything at a shop and they told me it was done but wasnt done. Awful for business and after I told his wife that and she knew I was telling my co workers and friends and family she came back with a free oil change card, but no refund. This card will do me no justice because I will never be back nor will I recommend anyone to the shop. Now I have to question whether the brakes rotors and calipers were done too. Im a female and have no idea how to check. So here I sit. Its been 30 minutes and I will be late getting back from my lunch break so not only will I be reprimanded but I lose money on a 12 hour work day. But I have a free oil change card, thats awesome right? Advice...go somewhere else that you can trust or else you are just giving them a big tip.

At fosters i knew i made the right decision the woman who runs the office is amazing shes such a sweetheart she was patient and understanding with me and the mechanics are great they do quality work and they do it in a timely manner. They took the time to explain things to me which i love. Very honest and fair family operated business i am very happy my car came in putting and shutting off i left with it driving as smooth as a caddy! BEWARE I called and asked for a mount and balance, I arrived and told the lady at the desk i was in for the mount and balance.. After the guy finished i asked if he balanced them and he said no, he said he could see they had weights on them so they must be balanced.. I went down the road bouncing and found out the next day the tires had broken belts i didnt know about and sure enough when they were removed all those weights that were on tires fell off on the ground.. I was charged $45 for the mounting of 4 tires that took about 10 mins.. Im told one is not supposed to LOOK at tires and say yes they are balanced.. I am not a mechanic thats why i went to the professionals
