This was my first visit to Noire Nail Bar ATL. I made an appointment and waited a few minutes to be taken to a pedicure chair. The pedicure was good. I got the basic so it was pretty standard. There was a small miscommunication as I asked for a manicure and pedicure, but they thought I only wanted a pedicure. They quickly got someone to do my manicure once the pedicure was finished. The manicure was also good. I got gel on my fingers and it looks really good! I’ll likely be back. They seemed fairly busy so you might want to make an appointment to ensure you don’t wait too long.
I am very disappointed because I spent a good amount of money on these nails, so I expect to get what I want. First off the nail tech was 30 minutes late and didn’t even tell me until 30 minutes after my appointment time. I was fine because things happen and I wasn’t in a rush. But the rest of my appointment felt rushed. After I examined my nails, there were bubbles and they didn’t really paint all the way to the edge. So I kindly asked for them to help with the bubbles and paint to the edge. They blamed it on the nail polish and I’m like well that’s not really my problem. Figure it out. I’m paying for this. They also said that they didn’t paint to the edge because they didn’t want to mess up the shape of my nail. Don’t quite understand that logic. So after they went in and fixed the bubbles, the entire design was messed up. I debated on saying something else because I could already tell that they were annoyed. But I said politely to them that I’m not trying to be petty; I just want my money’s worth. Mind you, When they were fixing my nails, they didn’t even sit down so they were just rushing and annoyed at this point. They fixed the design, but they didn’t finish painting to the edge of the rest of my nails (I didn’t press for it because they had attitude). My nails don’t look terrible (they could be better), but I just expect to be treated with respect even if I am asking you to fix something.
I came in today for a pedicure over two hours before close and the whole process felt very rushed and unprofessional. The pedicure lasted no more than twenty minutes from when I sat down, with the nail tech actually working on my nails for no more than fifteen minutes. Note: I did get the basic pedicure with none of the add-ons but still, it was $30 and I believe if you are paying $30 for a pedicure it should last at least half an hour. I’ve paid less and gotten a lot more at other salons. The nail tech never asked me if I wanted my nails cut down and trimmed them unevenly. He hardly spent any time shaping and filing my nails. They advertised that their basic pedicure included “exfoliating your legs and feet and a massage with hot towels.” The exfoliating included about thirty seconds of rubbing the inside sides of the arches of my feet with the exfoliating sponge (I don’t even have any callouses or dead skin here and it just hurt) with no attention to my legs. The smallest dab of lotion was used on my legs and I guess it was “massaged” on for about fifteen seconds each leg before he washed it off. No foot massage included. Finally, the singular hot towel (hot towels were advertised) that was supposed to be part of the massage was drape over my legs while my toenails were polished, not even wrapped around my feet like other places do. The polish itself was okay- hence why I’m giving two stars instead of one. All together- I left with uneven toe nails, dry feet, and feeling like I wasted my money.
Of all the salons Ive frequented, this one is quite guady, over-priced, and basic for the services rendered. The owner should be ashamed of that plastic orchid in the lobby....please dust it, as indoor allergens could naturally upset clients who may be hypersensitive to dusty spaces. There was no professional receptionist there to greet clientele. The techs appeared to be teenaged college students lounging around listening to/watching TicTok clips.Check their licenses prior to receiving service. The tech working on my overlay fill could not file, nor could he cut cuticles safely. He cut me, then pretended he couldnt understand my request for liquid bandaid. I literally had to pull my hand back. He did a poor job of nail shaping as well.Heres his tip:Please ensure that you know how to use the a simple nail kit so that you can avoid injuring clients. Realize the salon is liable for any infections or effects of mishandling utensils. Also, understand this: leaving nail filings and other particles on the clients clothing, after you are done working, is just as tacky as the plastic lobby plants.
Worst experience EVER!!! I will NOT be returning. Poor service, did not know what he was doing. I asked for acrylic on my big toe and he did not know how to do it. The massage was awful he never massage the feet. He does NOT need to he doing anyone nails... Very disappointed... A waste of .. money. Ruined my mother and daughter time.... Lol.... Child im so mad... My feet dont even look like they have been done. I give this place zero stars. This place was highly recommended and im highly disappointed. Also my hot stones WERE NOT HOT!!! at that point I just closed my mouth......
I absolutely love it here!!!!! I’ve been getting serviced here for a while now and it’s always a vibe. No one shapes my nails like them & the pedicures are next level!
It seems theyre under new management and I have to say its not good. The tech convinced me not to get a matte color so I didnt. What I didnt realize was that they use a white color powder acrylic and just put clear polish on top. It looked ok until compared to my feet...they waited until my nails were completely done to do my feet. I preferred the color on my feet. They wanted to charge me $15 more to polish my nails. Keep in mind I just paid $97 for something they screwed up. I made it clear I wanted the same color on my feet. However my nails are a dull white while my toes are a bright white. I wont be returning.
Vy, Andy and their team are always professional! The service is always perfect! I have NEVER left unhappy or unsatisfied! I’ve been going to Vy for over a year and I can’t imagine going to anyone else!! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment!!
I have received better service in the past. Not sure what happened this time. Maybe just one of those days. Normally, I love it.
I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review to see how my nails would hold up. This is 3 weeks later.. I have no complaints except the fact that the polish job couldve been better but thats my fault. Im positive it wouldve been fixed had I noticed. The nail tech Cindy I believe was very attentive and nice. A few of the pictures on their instagram is of her work. I took away a star because I noticed a guy going around asking the people in front of me if they wanted something to drink but he NEVER came to ask me.This full set was $55A little on the pricey side for something so basic.
Excellent experience. I got the P4 with collagen an hot rocks. To put it simply HAPPY FEET
Holly was amazing ! Super professional and my nails look incredible. I will definitely come back !
Cathy was very attentive and very nice. I knew the salon was very busy due to their booked appointments, but she really helped fit me in. I wasnt mad at the fact I had to wait, because she helped to start my services even though she wasnt a nail tech. Mike is the one who helped take over, but he was very gentle and very nice, I would recommend him!
I loved my nails so much i was convinced i’d be returning but im disappointed cause $85 nails should not be breaking by two weeks.
Honestly, I almost dont want to leave a review because once the masses find out about this amazing place, I know theyll swarm 😑. BUT, Ive gotta give props where they are do!Let me say, Noire Nail Bar (Chamblee) has become the it spot for me and my bestie. She put me on and we havent looked back. Particularly in the dark times with COVID-19, they havent missed a beat. Clean, seamless, hospitable, timely. I just love scheduling an appt, showing up, and not having to wait. The owners and staff, hands down, are not only the nicest, but well dressed too! Im telling you, you are missing out if youre NOT getting your nail services done here.To be clear, I drive 30 minutes out of my way; thats how much I appreciate this place. Nothing but quality, you get what you pay for, and the place is just wonderful. A true lux experience each and every time. Why, I was just there yesterday and had another awesome, relaxing session. Also, to note, this is not your corner nail spot. So if youre looking for quality, ensure you can pay the quantity 😉 Thanks Nail Noire (Chamblee), Ill be seeing you soon 💗
Tommy is an amazing nail technician and I’m so glad to have him service me. He is worth every penny I spend at Noire Nail Bar ATL.
Amazing job and friendly staff! Will definitely be going back.
I used yelp to find a great nail tech! Im very particular, and Noire was exactly what I was looking for! They have so many options, the building is clean and glam, Cindy is AMAZING, and theyre reasonably priced!!!! I cant believe I found my spot on the first try but yall, THIS IS MY SPOT! I hope Cindy doesnt get tired of me!
Great place! Very clean and professional, I didnt have any concerns whatsoever. Their policies are clearly established on their website and I felt safe the whole time.My pedicure was fantastic, very relaxing, and my nails look great. The atmosphere is also very calm and relaxing. Highly recommend!
I’ve been using this nail salon since I moved to the area just after covid shutdown, and I’ve been in every few weeks since. I have also referred several people. However, I had my nails done with a gel manicure just over a week ago, and almost all of them have peeled off and did so before the week mark. They look terrible, and I called to try to get an appointment to fix them (didn’t ask for anything otherwise), and the person who answered told me they were booked and made no effort to resolve the situation. I have a work event tomorrow and these nails don’t exactly look professional. She offered nothing to help whatsoever, so I will not only not be returning, but I’ll be sharing my experience with the people I’ve referred.
Been 3 times; twice for pedicure and one eye for fill in/gel polish. I absolutely love my nails done by Pin! He is very nice, attentive and does quality work. However, I prefer to go elsewhere for pedicures due to the lack of quality in the work. They are pricier than other salons but very clean and professional.
Visited this nail salon twice. The first time my gel manicure started to peel the next day so I had to return to have them fixed. I went back because I wanted to give the salon another chance as it’s very clean and the workers were professional. However, the second visit was worst than the first. I was cramped in a chair trying to maneuver getting both a pedicure and manicure done. The man filed my pinky nail down to my skin, rounded off the others when I asked for square (which they already were from my previous service), and this set is also peeling after the second day. I also still have dead skin around my cuticles which should have been removed. The pedicure was good. However, the man painted on my skin and I was too over the service to ask him to remove it. Said to say, I will not be returning.
They have such a great color option! The ladies in the front really helped me pick out a great color for my beach vacation! Ben does great massages for pedicures!
I walked into Noire nervous because I had just moved to ATL from Chicago. It is a beautiful, super clean, and relaxing space. Helen did my full set and did exceptional job. She paid very close attention to every single detail. I love my nails. I will be back & only go to her! Thank you Helen.
I got my nails done here last week . The place is beautiful chandeliers everywhere and the place is soooo clean . However I wanted my nailsTo look exactly like in a photo I demonstrated but they were unable to do them exactly but they did a designs close to it . It’s a little expensive but worth it. ! Coming back again for sure .thanks to wonderful nail techs that did my nails I left $15 tip . Wonderful guys keep it up !
I came in today for a Pedicure and SNS and they were so gentle and kind to me! They have awesome complimentary snacks and drinks! COMING BACK!! (:
Cindy does the best job ever
The place was absolutely clean. The young lady was very helpful with making sure my appointment was all set .
Very nice place. The staff is professional and very friendly. They did a great job on mine and my husbands pedicure.
My first experience with their pedicure was great. The tech took time and gave great service. It lasted weeks. I had my nails done next and it came out nice. But today??? Worst most horrible pedicure ever! I asked if it was too late at 7:30. But they insisted it was OK. The woman who did the pedicure was ride from the beginning. She had cold water, then proceeded to scrape at my nails with a file, which was painful. She never allowed me to soak my feet, which was just disrespectful. She rushed through it and left my feet rough...she barely got the polish off, burned my legs with the towels, then the front desk attendant had the nerve to ask if I wanted to tip her when he pushed me to pay while the awful service was still going on. Yes, the decor is lovely. But that woman literally robbed me of $25 because my feet are not at all pedicured. I may as well have thrown that money in the trash. What a waste of time! Dont go there!
This salon is one of the best ones in ATL, since I got to the salon the girls in the front welcomed with such a friendly attitude and the staff is professional for sure I’ll be back.
This place was great... great ambiance... the staff is great, but they havent been the most organized. Every scheduled appointment Ive made has been recorded incorrectly. As a result, Ive had to wait for someone to become available (15 min to an hour) or go somewhere else. It stinks. Everything else is great. Just wish theyd get that situation figured out. You go in with hopes of a seamless and carefree appointment, which you scheduled weeks in advance, to find out they wrote down the wrong time or day.
They say walk ins welcomed which isnt true. 3 nail techs will look you in the eye and say they dont have time for you, even as a repeat customer. Dont waste your time. Prices are also on the very expensive side ($60 for a full set w/ glow in the dark polish that doesnt actually glow) though I was willing to look past that since the work was good. But you can get the same work (or better) for less and closer to the city.
Cindy was very sweet, my first time visiting I will be back. Very good customer service from the time I walk and and left. Thanks again
Everything is so nice, literally cannot complain about anything.. definitely my favorite
Over priced and not very friendly. 40 for sns and doesn’t come with manicure. Paid for a pedicure didn’t even massage my feet or rub lotion on them. Tries to nickle and dime for every service. Left powder on my nails I had to ask him to take off and he filed my skin down. Did not make sure my nails were even and did not ask if I wanted a tip for one that was broken. Left my nails to soak way to long my skin was flaking and then I had to ask for lotion to put on. I told manager all they said was sorry did not offer to make it right or offer to come back. Felt rushed the whole time and was not happy and came in with two hours prior to closing. Will not be back. Go somewhere else.
My second visit is where it went downhill. I was displeased with how my nails were done and let Steven know. He advised hed explain to the nail tech next time exactly what I was looking for. What I was looking for was for the color of the powder on my nails to be completely opaque, versus my first two times when it was transparent -- likely because they didnt use a base coat which is just bizarre to me, since Ive had SNS some other 100 times and have never seen it done without. Who wouldnt want an opaque manicure unless they specified otherwise?Anyway, from there on out, it has been one sub-par pedicure and terrible SNS job after another. Ive had to have them redo it because its too thick, my nails are uneven, there are bubbles in the top coat, and I always, ALWAYS leave there bleeding on at least one finger. My last visit was the last straw. I asked for different colors on each finger, which they let me know would be an additional $5 (they actually charged me an additional $5 per hand, not total, which wasnt explained but fine). I asked for a manicure. I didnt get one. When I saw she was about to dip my nails without touching my cuticles, I reminded her I wanted a manicure. She said okay, and then still proceeded to NOT give me a manicure. When I got to the counter to check out and the woman at the front asked how everything was (Steven was not in this day) I let her know I was displeased. My nails were different lengths, 2 of the 5 colors Id chosen were dipped unevenly and partially transparent, and my nails were incredible thick and lumpy. She acknowledged they did not look good and grabbed someone else to fix them. By fix I mean that she drilled them down, re-dipped them in the WRONG COLORS (ended up with dark pink instead of light and orange instead of peach), and put on the clear coat. She didnt let them dry before doing the clear coat, so the oil ruined it and it had to be redone. When it was all said and done, their poor job caused me an extra $10 because I felt obligated to tip the woman who spent 25 minutes redoing my nails, on top of the original woman and the one who did my pedicure.Meanwhile, within 5 days, half my nails were chipped, cracked, and lifting. In my 5+ years of having SNS done this has rarely happened to me and when it does, its been one nail and its usually after a full week.I called and they told me to come in and have it fixed. When I came in the next morning they let me know the only person available to redo my nails was the person who initially did the poor job, which I said was fine. I was going out of town and this was the only chance I had to get them redone. I chose to just go with one color for the sake of time.I reminded her AGAIN I wanted a manicure and would pay the extra for it. I got no manicure. She did a horrible job. I left with clumpy, uneven nails, with another ruined top coat because she also put on the oil too early. As a result they had to be buffed down again and the clear coat re-applied. So frustrating and a waste of my time, as well as making them even thicker! While Im grateful they started over rather than trying to salvage what was terrible to begin with, and didnt make me feel bad about coming back, citing a new product line was likely the culprit of the poor quality work. However, the new work was horrible.I will not be back.
I have no problem with my nail, my nails typically last up to 3 weeks whenever I do a full set! Nice work! Never disappointed (:
The nail techs are always incredibly nice and helpful! The reason for the rating is the woman who mans the front. I think her name is Kathy. My friends and I always come as a group, so we always make an appointment. Every single time weve made an appointment, the services are messed up and so are the times. Before our last visit, one of my friends came to the salon and handwrote all of our names and what we were getting in the appointment book. I was the first to arrive for our appointment and the woman at the front desk was confused by what we were getting and how many people were in our group. She didnt look at the book once. Not only that, she had a nauseating attitude and limited the services available to my friends. We absolutely love coming to the salon, but it gets frustrating having to deal with scheduling issues and an attitude everytime we come as a group or a pair. It completely ruins the experience. Please invest in a better appointment system, and calling customers to confirm appointments would be great. Especially when theyre coming in a group of 6 or more and are spending over $60 each.
I just got my brows done here and I told the lady just a clean up.. she THINNED MY BROWS! WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST EYEBROW PLACE EVER!!!! I told the girl in the front desk that I am very picky with my brows and she goes “well you are in the right place” LIE! I had thick beautiful brows now I have thin two completely different brows !
I love my nails! Absolutely GREAT service ! Kathy was SUPER attentive she helped me pick out a great color! Ben did absolutely wonderful on my pedicure and Cindy did so good on my SNS! I’m definitely coming back! This salon listened to what I needed and helped me choose the right decision for my nail service !
Literally the worst gel manicure I’ve ever gotten. I paid 35 dollars for nails that are already peeling off. Not to mention that it took the lady FOREVER to finish and the end result was awful. My nails look textured; there are bumps all in the nail. This place is definitely not worth your time or money.
OMG! I’ve visited this beautiful location 3 times! It’s awesome! The attention to detail by the owner and employees was EVERYTHING! I held one of My daughter’s 21st Birthday celebrations here and it was the best experience for her! I will return! TREAT YOURSELF DON’T CHEAT YOURSELF 😀
I got my nails done not even a week ago and the color totally changed from the one I picked, and the accent nail has cracks in it. The color I chose was like a mauve and it turned into a yellow/nude. Not cute. The gel on my real nail cracked and tore my whole thumb nail.
Noire Nail bar is beautiful on the inside with even better service. Christine took care of me from the time I walked in the door and had my nails looking fabulous. I will definitely be back.
Sadly this was the most expensive gel manicure Ive ever gotten, and also the worst....My nails literally peeled up and off the NEXT day. I was excited for a local nail salon but I will never come back here. The nail salon in the Walmart plaza does a better job..and for 1/2 the price.
Helen did a great job on my nails ! She was polite, very gentle & offered me a beverage ! I will be returning
First time visiting, I’ll definitely go back. The staff is amazing
Very good Cindy the best
HORRIBLE, I was a faithful customer for 6 months but never again. The nail tech ruined my natural nails soooo bad that the last time I went, 8 nails broken before two weeks!! Constantly using the drill will KILL natural nails, also I expressed my concern to the tech about putting false nails on, but she continued to ignore me and thats why they will never make a dollar off me. A proper manicure should include soaking your nails in water not acetone, CLIPPING cuticles with a proper clipper, buffing and filing. Nails shops are basically on every corner so doing less than stellar work is a detriment to your business.
I love everyone there !!! Cindy, Tommy, Pin, Quality work, Very Clean, and Professional
Beautiful, clean salon. The nail tech was great! Very attentive! Will definitely be back.
I love this place, always so professional whenever I go there. The prices are great, everyone is super friendly.its a great experience every time
This an upscale nail shop with a nice atmosphere!
Had mani (Tommy) and pedi (Tracy). Both did an excellent job. Loved getting 20% off using their Mon-Wed morning special. Very clean salon, nice atmosphere. Will be back.
Took me and my daughter here for a mommy daughter date! And let’s say we LOVE it here! Very fancy scenery!
Pretty disappointed from my last visit. I had a luxury pedicure and a gel manicure. My pedicure was okay but my manicure was one of the worst I have ever received. The guy was extremely rough on my nails and was rushing the whole time. My cuticles look worse than ever and my gel manicure started chipping the very next day. I know most places would fix it but I don’t even want to go back there and risked getting injured more. At one point during my pedicure my shoes got pushed to the middle of the room and one of the technicians just kicked them to the side, the were just regular sneakers so it wasn’t like they were nice or expensive but I found that very disrespectful. I spent $80 here and I will be going somewhere else to redo my nails before even a week.
Super great staff, super nice! Even though it was busy they tried their best to accommodate me!
Cute nail salon but the receptionist up front (Kathy) had a rude stuck up attitude . Everybody else was nice and provided great service .
Terrible Sns job
Horrible experience. Went in for a brow wax and the lady had no idea what she was doing. Brows were so terrible had to wait weeks for hair to grow back to get them done right .... if they would’ve said the brow lady wasn’t there I would’ve been okay. But they just wanted ten bucks I guess. Will def never go back.
Kathy has unbelievable customer service. Kimmy is best at pedicures. Cindy does the best nails!
I wish I could write no stars for this review. DO NOT GO TO NOIRE NAIL BAR ATL. They use some kind of SNS powder that makes your actual nail split down the middle. This could be some bad kind of chemical and harmful. When I went back to get my nails fixed, they said they would use glue to fix it so that they can save the fake nail. Hours after I left, my nails cracked down the middle even more. Now I am afraid to take my nails off because I know my real nail is damaged. This happened to four of my nails. This is so weird because at other nail salons ( I only go to two others) their SNS does not do this to my nails. I am thinking about reporting this salon because I tried giving them a second chance and they ruined their chances AGAIN!!!! Will attach photos later.
I love this place . All staff is friendly.
This shop is beautiful and staff is friendly. I walked in and was serviced right away. Kathy was excellent!
I liked this salon initially. My pedicures were not as neat as Im used to though, and I tried 2 different people. Tommy did my SNS during the 2 visits I paid to this salon and it always turned out beautiful. My problem with this salon was that on my last visit I paid a total of $86.00 for SNS and a pedicure plus tip. When I reviewed my credit card statement a few weeks later I had a charge of $101.00 on my bill. I called them and they guaranteed that they would take care of it. For whatever reason they would not credit my credit card the $15.00 but insisted I come back into the shop for a refund. At the time I was not able to revisit the shop, as its not very convenient to where I live and I was out of town. They mentioned they would mail it to me, so I accepted this and assumed it was a done deal. Fast forward 2.5 weeks later and still nothing in the mail, I called back and they apologized again and said that it had been mailed and they would fix the issue....fast forward another 2 weeks......still nothing. Put in another call and got more of the same. I basically threw in the towel at this point and called my credit card company to dispute the additional $15.00 charge. I kept my receipt so have proof that I was over charged. $15.00 is not a lot of money, but its the principle. They overcharged me and should have fixed it. I wont be going back to this salon because of this. Its bad service and they should have credited me right away. I did give it 2 stars because as I mentioned, my SNS always turned out very nice.
I live here at Solis & this place isnt worth the convenience. Ive given three tries, and theyre out! At a high end nail boutique I do not expect files and buffers to be reused, extremely unsanitary and dangerous. I also do not expect my gel polish to be lumpy or chip the SAME day. Communication is important when receiving a service that is so personal and there is a lack thereof due to a language barrier. The pedicures and manicures are below average. Owner needs to realize a fancy place needs to be attached to elite service. I was a manicurist for 15 years, places like this DO NOT LAST. I recommend Sugarcoat Vinings or Buckhead, Remede Spa or Bliss.
I have been coming here since I moved in the building. I strayed once, but never again. Nails always look amazing!!
Great place if you go ask for Tommy
This is my favorite nail bar in Atlanta.... Everytime i leave and try another place Im mad and v back to NOIRE..
I had such a wonderful experience. Great customer service and attentive service. Amazing mani (SNS) I never had it done before; loved how natural it looks. Highly recomendable!
Perfection every time!
Me and my other two girlfriends came in for a sns/pedi service and I definitely recommend this place for someone who is looking for quality! The service was outstanding! Very friendly staff!
They had the WORST attitudes I have ever encountered
Decent pedicure; not good sns ... lumpy and didnt last!!! Waste of $45 and my time.
Awesome customer service.
Exceptional customer service! Kathy did a fabulous pedicure!
Gorgeous nail salon and attentive and excellent customer care.
Everyone was so nice and they did an amazing job!
Cindy is the best
Great experience. Beautiful salon.
HORRIBLE!!
Excellent service and attention
Excellent service and attention
Love this place!
