Nick took the time to answer my questions late in the day proving helpful suggestions regarding urgent repair advice.Updated…. Nick, Eurotech owner, was able to work in our car for diagnostics. We are 1000 miles from home and unsure what we should do. Nick’s team did a great job to isolate the cause. He provided a detailed estimate. Throughout the process Nick provided excellent communication. He partners with us regarding a difficult logical matter (traveling and complicated repair).Very professional service.
I have been bringing my VW here for years. I trust them more than the dealership for honest appraisal of the problems. They also go the extra mile to get parts. They know who I am and I trust their work. Many thanks folks.
Great place. Knowledgeable very fair pricing. Just an over all excellent experience.
Very helpful people. Was able to have a part that needed some help with fixed at no charge. Great people to work with.
I did a good amount of research to find someone close to me as qualified as Danny to really take care of my Audi. He was not only able to find fairly priced parts for a rare car, but he also installed them for a very fair price and with excellent care. Eurotech is my new go-to for my Audi, worth every penny. Thanks Danny!
If you drive anything European this should be your first choice! Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Very good people very good service! Very honest as well! I had the differential on my mini replaced here (not cheap) and they only charged me about 450 for labor. Everything else was parts. Very fair priced! When I had the plugs and could done Danny called and said they accidentally charged me more than they should have. I dont know another mechanic that would do that! Very honest people. If you have an import this is the place to go. Sure they are busy but they always surprised me with how quick they got my car done!
I can not say enough about these guys & how pleased I am with their level of service. I first went in to have the front control arms replaced & have them look at a few other problems I had been having. They gave me a rough estimate on that cost. When they were done, they gave me a call & much to my surprise, informed me of a recall on my cars engine. Even more surprising was that the actual cost of repairs was HALF of what I had expected to pay! When I picked the car up, they had all the information printed out for me & I was able to speak to the mechanic so I could better understand what I was looking at since my car was slightly outside the extended warranty mileage for the vehicle. This is something the BMW dealership never mentioned to me when I had taken it in almost 2 years prior(under the mileage cutoff). We set up another appointment to come back in 3 weeks to address some other issues I had concerns about. When I picked it up they told me that they really had no explanation for why my car was doing what it was doing, but it seemed to be a common problem with that particular vehicle. They had done some research & suggested I try driving it in sport mode & see if that helped, as it had helped others with the same or similar problems. So, I did that & to my shock, it is like a completely different vehicle. It’s driving how you would expect an $85,000 car to drive. The car still has issues which will need to be addressed, but I have absolute confidence that these guys will help guide me in the right direction. Bottom line is that you always hear horror stories about mechanics either price gouging, missing the obvious, or doing unnecessary repairs. Eurotech is the opposite of all of that. They were friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and above all, they were honest. I would recommend them without hesitation! Thanks guys!!!
They were awesome and super helpful all for a great price!
I have trust issues with the automotive service industry based off previous experiences. The local VW dealership is one of those places, as they mis-diagnosed an oil leak on my car, and wanted to argue over the validity of my factory warranty. But they gladly took my money in return for giving me my keys back.I tend to do my own work on my vehicles, but with a small garage, and freezing temps, I didn’t feel like rolling around on the ground for this. I went to Eurotech for their assessment, and was comfortable with what they told me the repair needed, as well as the cost. I hesitantly agreed to the work, and waited for the outcome.Once I picked up my car and looked things over at home, I noticed they took the time to clean up the oil mess that was leaking onto the splash shield underneath the engine. They would have needed to remove this for the repair, and didn’t necessarily need to take the extra few minutes to clean this off, but they did. That one simple task is something I would have done myself, but showed to me that they cared about the seemingly small details. Whether deliberate, or just part of a detail oriented process, it was appreciated. For that I would be willing to return to their shop for any future work needed that I can’t do myself.
My 2010 Audi A4 needed the timing chain and pistons replaced so I asked them to basically do an engine rebuild but I provided a timing chain kit and some forge pistons and connecting rods. After waiting a you month for my appointment and a week for them to complete the repairs I got my car back and all was good. However, about 2 weeks later it starts running rough with the same timing codes as before so I took it back. At that point I learned that they didn’t do several thing that you should always do when rebuilding an engine i.e. replacing the water pump, oil pump and, most importantly, inspecting the cylinder head and engine block. After a week I got my car back and they said that a solenoid had broken and was replaced and it was good to go. An hour later the same problem came up again only this time it stopped running completely. So, I took it back again and they said it was either the cam bridge or the cylinder head (which should have been inspected before). They replaced the cam bridge free of charge and sent me on my way, but yet again an hour later I was stranded. So I ordered a Head($1,300) and waited another month for them to look at my car again. Finally, 5 months after scheduling my first appointment they discovered a problem with a camshaft. After everything I spent over $10,000 on the repair when I only paid $8,000 for the car plus $200 to return the cylinder head they said I needed but I didn’t actually need.In conclusion, they’re nice people and professional but in my case they were guessing, took forever and kind of lazy. I have no hard feelings but I’m never go back.
When driving from Oregon to New Mexico, our car broke down in Idaho. We found Eurotech through a search and decided to go to them based on their positive reviews. We rented a car to drive home and left our Mercedes with them for almost three months to get repaired. They ordered the abs part, which it came wrong the first time, and we also asked them to replace the water reservoir for the windshield wiper.Unfortunately they replaced the reservoir with a used part, when they told us it was coming from the dealership. The part had a big crack on it and when we called them they told us that the part only had a 30 days warranty because it was a USED ONE!We feel very misled and taken advantage of, specially from being out of state . . .I only instructed the ABS system to be used. The water reservoir, I was told it was coming from the dealer! I do not lie! I was charged $106 for the used part when a brand new one would have costed $132.
Despite the fact that they actually are friendly people, I was misled and lied to. They replaced a part for my vehicle witch it was used and told me it was new (ordered from the dealership). The part was defective and they did not take any responsibility for their shortcomings. They charged me for the used part $106 plus installation, when the part brand new from Mercedes would have costed $132.What a shame!
I have had the pleasure of doing a lot of business with Danny and Amber, they are professional and kind and I look forward to much more positive business with them
These guys are professional, quick, reasonably priced, kind, facilitating, smart and all-around good guys. I came in today for my DSG service and they did an excellent job. They went above and beyond and made sure my tires were inflated properly without me asking, all when I thought my sensor was bad. A dealership recently did my oil change and didnt inflate my tires properly, but Id recently gotten new tires. I thought my sensor was out when assured my tires were properly inflated. Eurotech gave me calm reassurance when they told me simply my tires were low. If youre having second thoughts on if you should come get your car taken care of here, dont. Just do it, youll be happy you did.
The best shop for your BMW service. Honest, and your car repaired correctly the first time. Thanks Danny
Eurotech is definitely the place to go to get your BMW fixed. Their prices are extremely fair and they are the best BMW tech in Idaho Falls for sure. With that being said, why would you not take your european car here, lower cost and the best european import tech in Idaho Falls. Makes no sense, why you wouldnt. I do not know them personally at all, I am just a very passionate BMW owner. If Im going to leave my BMWs with someone, I am going to leave them with someone I trust and If I am not doing the work myself (which is usually the reason Im in there, because I need him to fix something Ive screwed up.) then I am only taking them to someone that I know is going to take care of them and fix them right. From now on that will be Eurotech. I couldnt be happier with the service, professionalism, honesty, and quality that I recieved there. I found my new mechanic and they will get all of my business in the future going forward.
These guys are the finest of mechanics ! iwould rather have Danny work on my Panamera than Porsche in SLC. Bill Fay
Danny and his team are extremely knowledgeable. They did a great job getting me back in the road... running better than ever before. Honest and quality work, fixing more than what was asked for less than what others would have charged. A+
WAY better rates than the VW dealership. Very impressed with these guys. They are busy but do you really want a mechanic who isnt? True Professionals.
Honest folks and very competent. Been there three times and have been very happy with the service each time.
The best place in Idaho Falls for Audi service. Danny knows his stuff!!
These guys ARE PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY!!! They are thorough, professional, and they know their stuff!! Ive taken two different vehicles to them (one while they were on N Holmes) and Ive never left disappointed. These are the guys you want under your European hood!! Theyve always been good to me and I wont take my VWs to anyone else, including the dealer.
Great, knowledgeable guys that are very helpful!
These guys are great! I have taken my Audi in to them because of the good reviews on their knowledge for German cars and was not disappointed! Very professional and fair!
Ive dealt with Danny for almost 20 years. He is the best VW tech out there. I can go years without talking to him and he is always helpful. His work and fairness is always the best.
Eurotech has worked on our BMW twice. Excellent work both times. Literally saved me thousands of dollars over other shops. Highly recommend.
Took my Mini Cooper to Eurotech to investigate engine rattle. Required timing chain replacement. Danny even dealt with the warranty company. Only issue was the Mini was in the shop for over a month but that was to be expected given the holidays. On the bright side, Eurotech saved me from making several trips to Salt Lake City (nearest Mini dealer) to haul the Mini for repair. Theyve learned to work on Mini which is a big plus since Ive seen many of them around town. Would recommend Eurotech to other Mini owners.
Didnt use them for anything just looked at their website
Best mechanic to take Audi cars..... these guys know their engines..... my timing was off one tooth they fixed it and reasonable on price..... when I take it and I have problem they tell me reason of problem, where the problem is and how much it cost for part.... most awesome thing is they tell me all this and I sometimes fix it myself or they fix it for me for a great price........ definitely recommend to anyone with Audi Volkswagen vehicles
Hired them to fix the head gasket on my 1996 Volvo. Took a little longer than they said, but they did a very good job of it, and took the initiative to fix the radiator fan, and the wastegate. 10/10, would definitely go there again.
If you own a German built vehicle youre wasting money if you take it anywhere but here. Danny has spent his life working on everything from Porsches to Volkswagens. Heres got more experience than your dealer and charges a fraction of what they charge. Better work for less money... Hey, thats what they call a win, win!!
Ive had excellent service on my Audis at this shop ... for a fraction of the price charged by Audi dealers. Two thumbs up.
I have a 2000 audi a4 and they have gone above and beyond to fix it in multiple occasions very personable guys and knowledgeable. My a/c wasnt working and when we tried to find parts and couldnt they still managed to fix it. Reasonable pricing on a German import car is hard to come by when it came to fixing my car at the bozeman Audi dealership that was expensive these guys are reasonable. these guys are awesome
When our Range Rover transmission stopped shifting into drive, we thought we were looking at hundreds of $ in repairs, plus a massive headache of transporting to the RR dealer in SLC. A friend recommended EuroTech, and within 12 hours and $80, the problem was fixed. Great service
Eurotech is a great place to take your import for mechanical and electrical repairs!
Very professional! Treated my car like their own and they did fast clean work. Im sure I will return!
Theyre professional, knowledgeable, and speedy. They get the job done.
Great mechanics who know how to fix your Audi.
Danny know his imports!
Great guys to work with
The owner knows European cars. Worth calling.
