The first couple of times I went to Vicky’s nails I was very happy with the results. However, the third time I went in, was a disaster. I had to get in because my acrylic was lifting and my real nail under it broke and I was in pain. I went in and told them that the nail hurt because it broke. They used the machine on it anyway and it hurt so badly that I jumped. They then tried to pry the nail off with clippers which chipped part of my nail off down to the skin and destroyed it. I kept asking the tech to stop using the machine and to please just soak it in acetone for the nail that hurt. After the acrylics had soaked in acetone for a while they continued to use the machine on my bare nail and filed it so thin that now it’s down to the skin. I also got a pedicure and as you can see it is sloppy. I was assured the powder would come off much easier and be better than gel. Had I gone back to Vicky’s I am sure they would have used the machine again on my already super thin nail and I would have had to walk out, which is what I should have done in the first place. I will not be returning to this salon. I found someone who actually knows what she is doing and doesn’t use the machine to take the easy way out on the bare nail. My new tech had a very difficult time getting the powder off and I was very mislead about how easily it would come off. This place will use the machine drill on your bare nail even if you ask them not to.

I don’t know where to start. This was a terrible experience. The lady doing my nails, literally ripped my old acrylic off, didn’t try to be gentle at all, then didn’t bother to make my natural nail even just left it all raggedy. Acrylics are super thin and move up when picking up anything or doing anything with the nails themselves. Pedicure was ok but after I left I still had stuff left over on tue backs of my leg. Waste of $119 dollars for less than mediocre work. Do not waste your money here. Also every person in there was 60 yrs or older, they don’t know how to do young hip nails.

Love my nails acrylic overlay asked to have them thinner and Don did a very good job, I will be going back there. I have also gone in there twice for pedicures and they do an excellent job

I went to this salon because the place I had been going to for three years screwed up my appointment and I am so glad I did! The salon is very clean and comfortable and the prices are comparable and, in some cases, lower than many other salons. The staff is friendly, professional, skilled and efficient. Ti did my pedicure and manicure and I’m extremely pleased with the results. The gentleman at the front counter could teach customer service classes - he was professional, attentive and kind. I highly recommend this salon.

I love this nail salon!!! My nail tech is Tommy. He is the freaking bomb. Tommy can do whatever you want on your pedi. Dont want to wait I advise you to make a appointment because hes always busy.So you know what that means his nails are the BEST. Hes worth every penny.

Incredible experience! Such friendly staff and really clean environment, especially with pedicures because they put a plastic wrap around the tub to keep it extra clean. The massage they gave was so relaxing and they didn’t rush at all. Nails were painted perfectly. I brought my mom and dad to get our toes done back in 2018 and we visited again about a year later and the service was still impeccable. Michelle and Tim were great, they gave great massages and provided us with hot stones and a hot towel as well. 100% best place I’ve been to. I fell asleep in the massage chair and they were very quiet and respectful and let us relax. Love love love! The best part was that they remembered us a whole year later!

The nail place that my daughter wanted to go to was unexpectedly closed. We searched online reviews for a different salon and decided that Vickys sounded like the best choice. Its tucked away on Grand Avenue next to the Goodwill. The store is on the south side of the building. Anyway, it wasnt busy so my daughter got right in. The salon was neat and tidy. We did not have to wait to get noticed. My daughter said the tech was friendly. The tech did a good job and styled my daughters nails exactly as I requested. (My daughter is 14) Needless to say, we were very pleased with the outcome. We will definitely be returning.

I was going into regular wont be going anymore was charged 60 bucks for french nails and he was rude was shocked was too much for french nails She first said 50 then He told her 60 WHY.. It was just french manucure I cant afford that way too much he was rude to me QUETLT..you just didnt hear it I accidentally smeared a nail and he got mad at me when I apologized he didnt even acknowledge my apology

Went there yesterday on a day out for mani-pedis with my sister-in-law we had a 1 oclock appointment but they let us in early and swiftly got to work on us the staff was great and super friendly! They took their time with pampering us and really made us feel special, while in their salon they talked and joked with us and werent stuffy like some other places are. Theyre truly professional and even tried their best to do a design I wanted on my nails

I really hate leaving less than stellar reviews, but I was disappointed. $36 for an 18 minute *rough* manicure. Very, very rough. My cuticles still hurt, two days later. And the gel paint on my nails is all over my skin and under my nails. I’m still picking chunks off. They didn’t even do a lotion massage-just oil on the nail beds (which were so tender from the aggressive mani). Uneven nails. My friend also still has hangnails she’s complaining about. The lady in charge was very sweet and friendly but, unfortunately, I will not be back. I really do want to support local businesses so I hope this salon values my feedback and changes some things.Update 3/13/2020: Thank you to the business for your response. Not very attentive. Left the hot towels on my legs til they were cold. Just make sure the tech is not doing anyone else to distract your time.

First time at the salon. I feel like they rushed... a couple of the gel topcoats they missed on my nails and there were pieces of fuzz in the acrylic. Was not really friendly or talkative and did not use a topcoat on my toes. The salon was not busy at the time and still rushed my service and charged $80 for a basic fill and basic pedicure. I will definitely drive further to get better service.

I was a walk in at Vicky’s Nail salon. I wanted to get the special spa pedicure. It was $25.She gave me some colors to look at, I don’t remember her ever saying what she gave me was gel polish samples. So I got the pedicure and went to pay for it and it was $40. I told the gal that I just got the $25.00 special. She said you got gels so it’s $40. I said I didn’t ask for gels, I was given the colors to pick from. She proceeded to tell me it was $40.00 so I paid for it. I ended up going back a few hours later because the color I picked was so light, you couldn’t really see it. On the samples it looked darker. I asked if I could change the color, she directed me to the regular polish. I said that I paid for gel. So proceeded to tell me it was $15 more.I felt like they took advantage of me... I will never go back.

The place was very clean. They use disposible bags for foot spas, everyone wore masks and their is plexiglass between you and tech for manis. The tech I had was gentle and did a great job. I will be back.

They had 2 employees that were not there and they were very apologetic about being late w/ our apt.( that we just made about an 1 1/2 before). My friend didnt care for the color of gel on her toes (it did not look like the sample) and they quickly sat her back down and put new color over it! My friens was very happy! I have been a customer of Lee for over a year. I had tried several other salons and was not happy. She does careful gel fills and great pedicures. Have never had a problem! She is very sweet as are the others in the salon. Henry, Sally and Maya are all experienced and fun!

I got my nails done by Vivian and she did such an amazing job I would recommend to anyone and everyone to come here they really took their time making sure they were doing exactly what we wanted and I really appreciated the end result I have gotten so many compliments on my nails and I have been meaning to post a review for a couple weeks now but since it’s been a couple weeks I can also elaborate that my nails are still in great quality like I had gotten them done yesterday thanks again for your amazing service I will be coming here again. SHORT VERSION: Call before you show up.I can’t say anything about their actual service because I wasn’t given the opportunity to utilize their services. Husband and I drove there (during business hours) because it said walk ins welcome. We arrived to see all the lights off and and doors locked. There wasn’t a sign on the door saying they were closed or going to be gone for a certain amount of time. Nothing. We called the number provided and no answer. We decided to wait around since maybe they were taking a lunch break or something. During our waiting time we tried to call a few more times in hopes to figure out if we should check out another location if they were in fact going to stay closed. We waited around for another 30 minutes and still nothing.Their hours of operation were clear on the door and on google, yet no one was there. My guess was that it was slow so they decided to go home for the day. From a customer point of view it would have been nice to at least have a sign on the door saying they left for the day or were closed for an emergency so we wouldn’t have wasted our time waiting to be seen.I do believe the other reviews are probably accurate and maybe it was just our luck that day, so hopefully if we ever decide to try them in the future we get great service.

Vickys Nails does a great job catering to different varieties of clients. I usually make an appointment but I have seen several walk ins. I respect the quality of their work. There are also several options for types of treatments for both manicures and pedicures.

I went here the other day with my sister and the staff here did an amzing job. They were so sweet anad kind and very friendly. My sister and I had showed them pictures of what we wanted and they did an amazing job n recreating them, we both absolutely love our nails. We will definetly be returning to Vickys.

Everyone was very nice there and thats why I am not giving a one star. But my nails are definitely a one star. I have been getting dip for along time and wanted to try a new salon. I found this place which had great reviews. Im very disappointed 😞 they are more expensive and my nails have never looked so bad. The color isnt even (have white spots randomly one different nails). They also chipped in two days. I think they were short staffed that day and maybe In a hurry. Either way Im a little upset for how expensive they are and how awful my nails look

I just moved here from Washington. My Mom and I came in, asked for two pedis and two full sets ... it felt like we were being rushed and they cut my moms finger and our nails are chunky and not even ... the girl who painted my nails did a terrible job, you can see where she missed and didn’t apply the color on evenly .... we got charged 180 dollars ... we will NEVER give our service or money to these people again. I recommend going somewhere else

Lady was pushy who greeted me, a d assumed Id been there before.Nail colors are unorganized, and couldnt see them very well- bad lighting. You pick a color and they try and talk you Into picking different colors.

My usual salon let me down quite spectacularly a few days ago. Through Yelp and Google I found Vickys and I felt it was worth trying. My nails had been ground down to the thinnest layer and acryliced more. I needed help. I got it. Vickys was pleasant to walk into. It was quiet and the two working today were perfect in asking what I needed and helping me. I gave the lady the story when she sat me down and said for what I wanted it would be this price. Not a list of services but the finished total. Awesome! She got me filed (soooooo gently) and soaked. Then she got me prepped and switched with the guy to do the acrylic. He also filed, but gently and only where stubborn acrylic sat and NOT the bare nail. Double awesome. Then he laid down the acrylic perfectly and made sure I was happy with it before finished. Then he found the colors of gel i couldnt and studied the reference pictures I had and asked questions until he got what I wanted. He checked with me Every Step Of the Way. I tell you I am so used to people of anywhere I go just assuming and this was just exactly what I needed after the other salon. They look great and I look forward to coming again to see if we can pull off some more elaborate designs for the holidays. Not great pictures but they are exactly what I wanted. I went in on Saturday morning for a pedicure and decided to also get a full set manicure. There sent any other customers, so I was the only one the. The pedicure was great. Relaxing and overall pleasant. The manicure however was severely lacking. They didnt soak or trim my cuticles, the tips of the nails are crooked, and the nails are so thick i cant really do much. For $100, i would expect more.

I had the best acrylic and gel nail fill and polish I have have experienced in 20 years (in numerous salons including much more expensive ones across the country). This salon and the owner’s skill tops them all. I plan to have him do my nails every time I am in the Surprise AZ area. This couple is the best!

I have been coming to David for over 1 year. He is a SUBURB technician! He is precise and gives excellent customer care. My polish looks perfect each time. I have never had to go back and have something repaired. Vicky Nails uses disposable liners in their foot baths and all their equipment is sanitized so there is no change of contamination. Went there for my birthday cause a mani pedi was my b-day present from my sis and because it was my birthday the woman doing my nails was kind and gave me a free flower design it was very cheap as well I got a mani pedi and my sis got pedicure and acrylics and it was like 70 bucks at other places we would have got it for like 90 dollars. Never been to a better nail place 10/10 would recommend definitely will go back there when I get money.

Went in for the first time to get my nails done. Called ahead to make sure they weren’t busy, did have to wait (a whole 5 minutes). Got my nails done in no time and they look great! Asked for shorter nails (because I type a lot) got exactly what I asked for! Couldn’t be happier!

Since Rose saw fit to review this business based on someone elses review, I will too. The reason Im giving it 5 stars is because I loved the owners response to the original complaint as well as to Roses so called review. My impression of the people I have dealt with wherever I have gotten my nails done is that they work very hard for what I imagine is not a lot of pay. Most of them are of Asian descent and that makes me wonder about the motive of some people to post such a negative review and for someone else to jump on the band wagon. I decided after reading the owners responses that he or she had a lot of spunk and that alone made me want to go there.

The liquid gel nails are the best! Months later and i am still a huge fan. Tried their pedicure and enjoyed that as well.

Vickys always gets me in when I stop by without an appointment. However, I have found that the gel nails I have gotten from there seem to chip quickly. It would also be nice if they ran the AC more.
