This place is so awesome! Alex did my nails and was so kind and took such time to really perfect the shape of my nail. He stayed late to make sure I was satisfied with the job he did. This is an awesome group of people and I highly recommend Alex or anyone on their team!

I walked in and specifically asked if they had enough time to do a full set and he eagerly replied yes and said there would be a 15 minute wait. I didn’t mind waiting, but then 30 minutes went by… Two girls also walked in about 10 minutes after me and were sat first. When i asked why they were sat before me, he said “i wrote the order of people down” very snippy. 5 minutes later he sat me in a chair where I waited another 20 minutes for anyone to come work on my nails. When i got my nails done, she was rough and my nails did not turn out anything as I described but I was ready to leave.I understand when nail salons are busy, but if it was going to be a LONG over an hour wait, that could’ve been clarified instead of saying 15 minutes.

I had a good experience and hope to have more.

I love this place. Excellent pedicures. Nails are always on point and if you arent happy for some reason then they will fix it. Never a mistake when getting my eyebrows waxed. The lady is very gentle.

Visiting from out of town and walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Got us right in and were very friendly. LOTS of choices with services (loved all the different scent options) and colors! Also very clean and professional. One of the best pedicures I’ve ever had!

I came here to get a pedicure before spring break, the service was good. BUT A couple weeks later I went to go trim my toe nails, and half of my big toe nail came off and did not look good. Never have I experienced this with any other nail salon or has this ever happened to me before now.Yeah..... I wear sandals. They aren’t tight on my toes.If you look at the picture you can see yellow crusty stuff under my toe nail.

I got a 50 dollar set of nails done. I cut them as soon as I got home. I did not like them what so ever. They were too thick and were not even at all. The reason I am giving them a 2 stars was because the guy who did them was super sweet, I just hated the nails.

Pedicure looks good, but the tech dug into one of my toe nails I nail it hurt.

It was a great experience from start to finish. I believe Tom is the nice man who gave me a pedicure, he was extremely kind.

WORST PLACE WITH APPOINTMENTS. They never keep their appointments they say they are going to. The owner and manager is so rude. They don’t care about their customers one bit. I definitely will not be coming back. I had a broken nail after 2 days of having them. When I went back, the lady absolutely rushed to get my finger done. To take off the nail she ripped it off instead of filing it down. She didn’t add the white protective coat before the powder dip and didn’t shape the nail like any of the others. Terrible service when you can tell they are talking in a different language about you too! Do not recommend

Love, love, love the brow service. Ive been coming here for it since they opened and have had brows I didnt like only one time. When I ask them to only clean it up, I like the shape, they actually do it. The same cant be said for other placesPedicures are great. Service is awesomeBut only 4 stars because my gel manicures only last a week, when they last two weeks everywhere else. Theyre too thick and peel off easily. I have been going to Lux for over 6 months and always got great service. The manicurist “girl” that did my nails yesterday cut me 3 times and hurt me with the grinder. I mean I was bleeding when I left the salon. I asked her why she was so angry but she ignored me. I prefer the guys, because they always seem to pay attention to what they are doing. I should have known when I sat down because she had a T-shirt on that said “blah, blah, blah.

Went in to get my color dip removed. They rushed through it and left some on. Looked a little rough. When another lady tried to fix it, she didn’t see the problem. The second lady also had just been working on her own nails and when she went to handle mine, she cut me with her own nail. Been there multiple times before and never had a problem, so I don’t know what’s up.

Ask for Ben! I had an idea in mind and he helped formulate what I was trying to come up with, and make it look so good for my NFR set!! He’s so nice and gave me my favorite set I have ever had!

Beautiful experiance

Ive been to this place twice and havent been happy either time. The first time was a pedicure, I didnt like the way my toenails were shaped. The man made my big toenail very round and the polish chipped quickly. The second time I got a full set and wanted short nails, and they are short but the man used bigger sizes than my nail bed and made them look like duck nails. Also the nails were full of bubbles. Everyone was nice, but the quality of their work isnt great.

I was so disappointed in this place when I went. A woman was doing my nails and acted like she didn’t even know what she was doing. She literally made my nails bleed. I will never be going back to this place again! SO UNPROFESSIONAL

I had a great experience as always when i come to Lux. I had the honor to have Ben as my nail tech he did a wonderful job! I showed him a picture and he did exactly that and more! So pleased with my nails and I’m usually hardly ever happy with my nails!!! So thank you! Will be back again!

Went and got a multi color manicure (showed her a photo) which was all shades of pink (pinky was white) and came out w purple shades and deep red. Then when I brought it up she said it was to late to fix it, and was unwilling to fix my problem. Will never return, terrible customer service.

Building is so nice. Interior design is fantastic and very comfy and large. Provides free drinks as well which was new to me. I really liked it and the art was fantastic, done by a local artist! Honestly, the best nail salon I’ve ever been to! The salon is super clean and holds lots of people, the workers are so kind and make you feel like a personal friend, and they do great work! I do suggest an appointment because they get so busy- but that’s a good sign, right? Also, they have a full bar. What more could you ask for?!

Worst set i have ever gotten will not be going back. My nails where lumpy and shaped uneven. i kept telling the lady the problems with my nails and she preceded to try and fix them only making them worse .

It was my first time here, and I got a pedicure. My nail tech, Tommy pampered my feet with so much love and care. Tommy is such a great addition to Lux nail spa, as he has such a great sense of humor, and was a delight working with.

Some of the employees are rude but overall its a really nice place.

I’ve been going here for a few months. Only gotten dipped nails. I almost always get a coffin shape and they are almost always crooked and not shaped properly. I think everyone there is great, but most of the time I feel rushed and afterwards I notice that they aren’t THAT great. I went this past Saturday and I have some different colored specs on my nails, they’re thick, poorly shaped, but they are always nice.

That was the best pedicure Ive had in a very long time. Thanks Lux!!

Standard price and service for a pedicure. Lots of televisions, clean, well maintained massage chairs, and complimentary drinks. The only thing keeping this from a five star review is that the extended massage was not much of a massage at all.

Pedicure and eyebrow and lip wax. Lovely experience! The inside is really nice and open, bright and clean. Staff was pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend!

They did an absolutely beautiful job. There were a couple things that disappointed me during my visit. While the lady that did my pedicure did a wonderful job massaging my feet and legs, I felt like my feet barely touched water. I guess if the soaking part isnt the best part for you, however, then its a non issue. During my manicure, the gentleman who did my nails was incredibly meticulous with his efforts to make sure my nails came out flawlessly. Unfortunately he was rough on my cuticles almost to the point of tears for me. While I felt there were a couple of missteps, overall it was a dang good experience and I got exactly what I asked for. As you walk in, the place looks beautiful and very spacious. They have a huge variety of services and nail colors.... Anything from normal colors to metallics and etc.Lexy - the girl that did my pedicure and gel nails was outstanding. Went out of her way to make sure the service was excellent and that I left feeling happy. Definitely recommend.

The owner and manager are all by far the rudest people I have ever dealt with. After spending 2 hours in there getting a full set as a tribute to my service dog. A few days later the shellac started to peel off. I go in there to request a refund so I can go somewhere else and get them fixed and I was asked to wait over an hour to speak with the manager. She then proceeded to ignore me and once I finally got her to talk to me she walked off and I then had to wait even longer to get the owners phone number. I could not read the handwriting therefore I submitted an online request to be contacted and I was not contacted. Once I got the owners phone number I called him and he was very rude to me throughout the entire phone call he did not seem concerned as to what happened and what I would like to be done for it to be resolved. After explaining that less than a week after getting my nails done it started out peel he told me he would call and see what happened. I informed him that it was a tribute to my service dog who lives her life to help me. After speaking with him today he was very rude to me and almost provokes me into a stress induced seizure. It seems like he has no sense of what its like to have to worry about not waking up in the morning. I do not reccomend going to this place if you are looking for people who care about what they do for a living or their customers. I would expect someone to be understanding and sympathetic to the situation at hand.

This is the second time I’ve gone here and both times I had a rude nail tech. On top of that this time the lady I had rushed, pulled on my wrists and hands, and complained about how dry my hands and cuticles were but did not even attempt to work on the cuticles. When she finished doing the dip, they were uneven and she wouldn’t let me wash my hands off. Never going here again. Thank goodness I had a gift certificate and didn’t pay with my own money.

AMAZING my nails are still painted

There is nothing like making an appointment with the manager to do your nails and you walk in and find out that they have double booked and then you have to rearrange your entire day to accommodate them because they want you to come back in two hours.

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon. They do AMAZING designs... just show them a picture of what you want, and they make it better! Something I do have to say is I went in the other day and Nina did my nails. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had out of the 6 months I have been going. She has no concept of the terms slow down and be gentle. She shredded the crap out of my cuticles because she was going entirely way to quickly and not being careful with the grinder thing. She kept jerking my hands over to her. And she was the rudest nail artist Ive ever had work on me. I felt the heat on every single nail as she shaved the excess nexgen off my nails.My favorite people are Leon and Vivian.Also, they discontinued their student discount and didnt even tell me before they did my nails. On top of that, they got to where they would tell me I cant have my nails as short as I want them if I get a design even though they have done every design you can imagine on my nails at my desired length. They just dont want to have to file them and put a little more work into it. Sadly, the best nail salon I have ever been to has gone down hill within as little as a 6 month period.

Nice, comfortable and clean. Best pedi I have ever had. Made appt for 2 @ 11AM, walked in and there was NO WAITING!!! Excellent serviceWell the second visit was horrible. The tech I had an appt with quit or something, was not told when we checked in. A guy named Chris is who I ended up with. He was lazy and used the grinder to REMOVE my polish on my toe nails WTH! I have never had a tech do that, NEVER! He was not careful and gouged my toe, hurt like hell. Then the polish I picked was so old & thick, we both asked him several times to thin it out but noooo, he didnt give a flip. We will not be returning.

This place started off great! However the last 2 times I have been in there they have been rude. One man who was doing my nails refused to offer to let me see all my gel nail options. I knew they had more than what he handed me because I wanted the same color I had before and it was not on the round nail wheel I had. I had to ask 3 times when finally he got up and got me the other options, which had the color I wanted on it. He was very put out and rude that he had to get up and get it. Not to mention that a week later one complete nail just popped off. The previous visit I was getting a pedicure and waited so long in the chair that the water got cold. On top of that I did not receive all the services listed for the pedicure I chose. When I asked the girl just acted like she didnt understand what I was trying to tell her. Today, I call to make and appt and get the price of what I was wanting to have done and all the sudden they are no longer offering the TSU discount. Thats the last straw for me. I had hoped this nail salon would be great but they have completely gone down hill fast. It seems as though they got the business and then stopped offering good customer service.

When i picked out what i wanfed my nails to look like from the fake hands upfront they waited till he already started on me to tell me the only person that cluld do all the bling stuff wasnt there. So behold, i just bad black nails that were pointed. The service there was not so hot. And they charged me an arm and a leg. Dont go here.

My husband gave me a gift card to LUX. I was a little hesitant when I saw the reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised. Most times I absolutely hate getting my nails done because they are rough, make me bleed, and grind my nail bed too far The guy who did my nails was the manager or assistant manager. They were so busy and the other employees needed his assistant many times while he was working on my nails. He was working his tail off but he was a joy to be around, polite, and courteous. he also did a fantastic job! My girls had mini manis and were very happy with them. I will be going back!

I went in to get a full set of pink and white, a pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. The pedicure was great and the place is very clean and nice. I had three different people help me that day and every single one messed up. The lady that did my toes did them in regular nail polish instead of shellac like I specifically said I wanted twice. The guy that did my nails was nice but he messed up one of them pretty bad. Even the girl at the desk to checkout said it needed to be fixed! (and he let me walk away like that..) He fixed it the best he could at that point without having to redo the whole nail. The guy that did my eyebrows literally just did the wax strips and that was it. No tweezing, or making sure they were strait or anything, and he was rude. I had to ask him to trim the hair and then he butchered one side. Makeup and a little tweezing myself could fix my eyebrows but not my toes that were already messed up the very next morning. So I went in even though I hate to complain. I asked very politely to speak to a manager and they told me no!! (really????) To finish, they made me pay the difference ($10) to get shellac.. even though it was not my fault and I had to come back in.. needless to say this is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. And they werent even busy. Lol(I also still tipped 20% which was more than what they made me pay to have them fix their own mistakes)

I know this is a long review but if I could give this place no stars or possibly negative stars I would!My friend and I went here to get our nails done the weekend before her wedding (so she was getting her wedding nails) and when we got there we had to wait about 35 minutes before someone started on us. I understand these places can get busy and no one likes to feel as though they got rushed on and shoved out the door but they were not even that busy. When we got seated everything was fine through the whole process for me personally but my friend said that her tech would grab her wrist and just yank her closer to her in a very aggresive way.We didnt notice before we left the salon that her full set job had bubbles and cracks and mine were just completely ugly (like there was more white tip than pink base when I got a French tip full set) and one nail was not even finished!!Our rage drove us all the way to another spa where we got everything fixed.I regret 100% going here and will NEVER go here again!!!So rude, impersonal, and no one seemed to speak English well.
