The facility is clean, and there are MANY options of equipment for all levels. The staff all seem to genuinely care about you, and what your goals are, which to me, makes all the difference in the world. Competing gyms will take your money, and leave the rest up to you. While Best Fitness is not the cheapest option out there, you really do get what you pay for. Real classes, real equipment, great staff, and decent prices make Best Fitness one of the best places in the area!

Awful gym, they locked me into a Personal trainer contract without explaining details. Charged me $250 a WEEK but never set me up with appointments or asked why I wasn’t using my trainer.. I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE TRAINER!Then while trying to cancel and get a refund they would not return phone calls or even talk to me in person, I had to close my debit card to get them to stop taking money and file a dispute with my bank.They then sent my bills to collections even after I got signed paperwork from the gym saying that I cancelled and will not be billed.Absolutely shady gym and awful managers, I’d rather go to a Planet Fitness paying TEN DOLLARS for free advice / training from staff.

I would like to give this place more stars, but two are all I can muster up right now. Heres why:1. The bathroom is often dirty, smelly and without soap or paper towels.2. Equipment is often unavailable: Although its a large place, many of the machines are old and need to be replaced. The good ones are generally taken during busy hours. They dont have enough add-ons or accessories for the number of members they have. Good news is you dont have to do any cardio here because you spend half your time running around looking for things.3. Members are not the friendliest. One guy walked right in front of me to grab some dumbbells while I was using them. Another shouted profanity at me in the parking lot because he didnt like that I was driving too slowly. They often take up multiple stations and equipment, and wont share. And, they tend to congregate in groups and take forever to finish making it difficult for you to finish your workout.4. The parking lot needs speed bumps to slow down drivers crossing through to get to the other businesses. They wont stop for you to cross.5. A couple of the staff are nice, but the rest are unhelpful and apathetic. I asked one of them to order more 35lbs dumbbells (because they only had one). She gave me a, Yea, yea, yea. Sure, sure, sure, but never ordered it. Turns out there were extra weights in another room. She could have taken the time to tell me instead of being dismissive.6. Doesnt respond to member requests: I emailed the corporate office about getting extra dumbbells when the staff was unresponsive but never heard back.

Great gym but terrible business!. STAY AWAY!!! 0 stars if I could! .with COVID they continued to charge me when I didnt feel comfortable to return and they didnt fill out the paperwork on their end.They were charging my account even in 12 month though requested to cancel. They are the worse! Its impossible to cancel your membership!! Even though I got sick, infact I got COVID and I went through 2 surgeries!! They still think its okay to keep taking my money. Even after explaning and showing them proofs (Although I dont need to). They still cant make exceptions or be flexible with the contract, during a pandemic!! Like I’m still trying to recover from the times I wasnt working by working more hours!! Truly evil and unethical of them!!

Great gym but terrible business! I loved the gym, instructors and front desk staff. Everyone was super friendly. However, with COVID they continued to charge me when I didnt feel comfortable to return to the gym. Due to COVID I had to move back home and I requested that my membership be cancelled. I called and provided the proof needed. But they didnt fill out the paperwork on their end, so I never got cancelled and somehow that was my fault... I asked for a refund and the general manager Eddie said its never gonna happen and had a rude attitude about it. I was obviously upset because I did what I had to do and I was charged $85. I asked for a corporate number or email to state my case and he refused to give me one. After a lot of arguing a decided to let it go and just cancel. I provided the same documentation and now theyre saying its not enough. THIS IS INSANE HOW DIFFICULT THEY MAKE IT TO CANCEL!! If its not Eddies fault then its the whole corporation. They are just stealing your money which is sad because the gym itself is great. Really consider everything before you decide to sign the contract.

Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful! You can visually see the gym is constantly being cleaned while you workout. All members are very respectful with sanitizing equipment after use and wearing masks.. Love the classes, Spin is my personal favorite, and I cant wait for more classes to be added like before. Its very comforting to see everyone is really following the rules and being respectful.

Ive been thinking about going to the gym for a long time and had problems walking and moving. Now i can walk without my cane and im almost issue free because i worked with their amazing coaches! The facility is extremely clean and the staff right from the get go were very very helpful! The front desk people were very knowledgeable and concerned with your goals. The whole gym is perfect from my eyes! i would highly recommend this gym to all my friends and family. It truly is the BEST gym in town! Fredrick White.

One fine day after I had my second shot of COVID, I stopped by to Best Fitness to check if they are fully opened. The guy who dealt with me on the front desk was outstandingly professional, informative and costumer-friendly. He offered me a great plan/package for my working out. I got interested and joined them right away because I wanted to loose my weight ASAP. I got pretty heavy (225lb) during this pendamic time and I wanted to be below 200. The combination of a good quality service of them & my consistent working out has really brought me close to my goal. I am 205 right now, yeeeey! and Ill be getting there pretty soon. I am happy that I made a right choice to choose Best Fitness for my fitness. The only drawback that I have for Best Fitness is; you guys need to open that Sauna asap. Thanks - Taran!

The gym itself is fine... I did have issues with cancelling my membership over several months but, once I was able to get in contact with their GM, he was able to resolve the issues quickly and professionally. Eddies customer service skills were top notch.

This location has been under new management / staffing for the past year or so, and it has definitely improved! The staff is overall very friendly, and is more than happy to answer any questions, or address any concerns. Due to COVID-19, many businesses have been backed up, and unfortunately Best Fitness is one of them. However, I give props to the employees as they are doing the best that they can to push things along as efficiently as possible without having to sacrifice the quality of service.

This is the best gym Ive ever been a part of. It is filled with high quality and clean equipment. The environment makes it very easy to maintain motivation and to power through every exercise. The personal trainers are strongly committed to their customers.

Although the gym offers a huge layout and options for equipment to use, I was shocked in September that members are not wearing masks, or even worse, they rebelliously wear their mask around their neck. The staff are not monitoring or enforcing the mask policy obviously. If the staff become more diligent to address this problem I would give 5 stars.

Opportunities for improvement: This gym is oriented more towards classes and boosting its membership than towards being a good place to lift weights. A lot of the members don’t re-rack the weights and leave them all over the floor. You’ll see weights on the floor in the evening and they will still be there the next morning because the staff doesn’t really do anything to keep the gym tidy, not even at the end of the day. The equipment could be maintained better. Construction of the locker rooms took forever and the men’s locker room is worse than it was. There is not even one real pull up bar in the whole gym. More standard size barbells are needed. Maintenance and upkeep in general is marginal.Positives: Very good community of people. Not too many douchebags. Not too much waiting on equipment. Staff is very nice. Good hours and availability.

My experience has been wildly lack luster. As others have complained it’s impossible to get a membership price quote without doing to the tour and getting muscled into paying a membership. It also seems that the price you have to pay to end it varies (I have to pay $100 to end a $20 membership).I believe I paid $60 upfront + $20 for the first month of membership, or something like that. Two months later was charged $50 and my monthly $20 totally unbeknownst to me (no email, wasn’t told his by the employee who signed me up, not in any disclosure I was given). I was told this is an annual fee that I won’t be charged again.I chalked all of this up to gyms are generally very expensive scams I just got got from not reading closely enough. Fine.After paying for 3 months and never actually going (I moved and it’s now a 25 min commute that I’m not interested in doing) I went for the first time last week and it leaves a lot to be desired.Front desk staff looks like they would rather rollover dead before they say “hello” or “good morning.” After visiting twice, on my way in and on my way out, staff gives me a bored look up and down and then just look back to their phones.The gym itself is a mess. Free weight dumbbells are all over the floor and often missing from the area so it’s a hunt before your workout. There isn’t a culture of wiping down equipment at ALL in this gym so if sanitation is important to you, good luck. The only spray bottle I could find in the whole gym was behind a desk. Most of the paper towel dispensers were empty. No trash anywhere near the one that wasn’t.Listen, moral of the story is you can pay less for gyms that are cleaner, friendlier with way better availability for machines and weights. My best fitness experience was the best I had I gotten good workout experience and learn many new routine in when I first started. Personal trainer are super friendly and patient they work with u every type of the way and give u good tips. Member work with u in your every need they survive u with warm greeting....

Classes are included - that is a great deal for the money. Had experience with one personal trainer which was excellent. Number of machines also good. can get crowded at times even though its a large area. A lot of body builder types that are not always etiquette savvy, staff should enforce rules a little more but...All in all, its one of the best values Ive seen ingym memberships.

Where do I even start with this place. I am an out of town guest visiting the city for a few days. My friend and I were trying to find a place to lift for the next few days. We called this place ahead of time as we saw that they had a 2 week free membership for new comers. As we would not be permanent patrons of this establishment, we called and asked if they could accommodate us. The lady on the phone told us because we were out of town, they could not give us the 2 weeks but we could try it for 7 days. We said great and drove 10 miles to their location. On the way, I sign us up for guest passes on their website. Instead of sending me a guess pass, I am given a notification someone will contact you!. Thats a little odd but whatever. We walk in and the receptionist greets us. We explain our situation and she looks confused. She proceeds to tell us that we can try one day and then its $20 every other day. We tell her thats not what we were told but whatever. We understand. Were out of town. Makes sense, I suppose, even though we were told something different. We walk around and check the equipment out. About 5-10 minutes in, I get a call. Its Scott, the manager. We said we need to go up front to sign a waiver. So as right now, weve been told 2 different numbers by 2 different employees and the manager giving us different information. We sit with another employee who we had to explain our situation to all over again. He then tells us that he has to go talk to the manager who he just spoke to, and he comes back and tells us that we can now workout for up to four days. He takes our IDs to go make copies. He comes back with our IDs and tells us that its $20 a day. At this point weve been given various different information from various different employees. The manager himself seems confused by this whole process. We asked to speak to the manager and we explain to him our situation. I think its worth it to visit this place just to meet the absolute horror that is Scott. He sits us down, crosses his arms and without care just disregards everything weve been told by all of his employees. He explains that we have to live in a 25 mile radius to get this deal. We explain that weve been told time and time again given three different numbers by three different people and he just does not seem to care. At one point he even commented that his employees dont get to make the rules. The lack of training and management in this place is absolutely ridiculous. Scott is a human being that should not be allowed to deal with anything relating to public relations. The fact that people put up with him on a daily basis is a miracle. The whole place and employees just seem confused. For your own mental health, if youre reading this, find another gym. Its not worth the headache.

The staff is great. The contract isn’t worth it. There’s so many other places that don’t force you to pay up the way that they do. It’s not a responsible business from what I’ve experienced. A lost release file, An over charge bank card about 1,000$ 5 times a week for a payment already settled. I haven’t had a good experience with this gym on a financial level.

Its a great place to be! They offer a variety of classes, have lots of machines, free weights and more. They also offer a great membership program, that you cannot turn down and their staff are a great bunch of people! Best fitness an all around great place and provides you with all the equipment you need.

COME TO FIND OUT THERE IS NO CHILD CARE OR GROUP CLASSES AVAILABLE ON DAYS THAT SCHOOLS HAVE DELAYS OR CANCELLATION. IF ANYTHING THATS WHEN ITS MOST NEEDED. SO I DECIDED TO CALL OTHER GYMS IN THE SPRINGFIELD AREA THAT HAVE CHILD CARE TO SE IF THEY HAVE SUCH A THING CALLED A WEATHER POLICY AND NO SUCH THING. THEYRE OPEN ALWAYS AND THEY HAVE ALL THE GROUP CLASSES AVAILABLE AS WELL. WHILE I WAS THERE I MUST OF AT LEAST SEEN 20 OR MORE PEOPLE WALK OUT, BAD FOR BUSINESS AND NO WAY OF FINDING UNLESS YOU CALL THEM.

I had no contract with Best Fitness and they charged me even when I didn’t go to work out back in October and November and will continue to change me until I go in person to cancel!

Good convenient gym in a great location with nice helpful staff and management. I love working out here at best fitness, good affective equipment with good trainers as well... I recommended the VIP membership and take advantage of the daycare, tanning, sauna, and protein shake discounts. Two thumbs up!!!!!!!

Definitely room for improvement. I have called this place 4 days in a row to ask for membership pricing since they don’t list their prices on their website. The 1st day I was told their were no reps avail and that they would give me a call back- never did.The 2nd day I actually got someone but he spoke very fast and got me to sign up for their 7day trial+ tour of the facilities; but didn’t answer my question about membership pricing.When I re-asked my question he said he was only the scheduler for the trial&tour and that the rep who will give me the tour will tell me afterwards—the tour was 5 days away. So I asked if there was a rep who was currently free and he said there was not.......HOWEVER someone would give me a call back later—no one called me back.The 3rd and 4th day of calling I was told there were no reps who were free to speak with me.I’m not understanding why there needs to be a specific person to talk to about pricing.No other gyms I’ve called have had this issue. When I called into Century Fitness to ask about membership the rep who answered the phone was able to answer my question no issue. And LA Fitness/ Planet Fitness all have their pricing on their website.It’s really frustrating because this gym looks really nice and has great amenities. I just want to know $$$ amounts, but no one can give me a straight answer.

I recently joined Best Fitness on Allen Street. I have not been a member of a gym in over 15years so I was a little worried about joining. I am so happy with my decision to join it has been a great experience! The staff has been so helpful and not once have I felt uncomfortable. I encourage everyone to try Best out!

Dont sign any contracts with this gym. Its nearly impossible to cancel your membership. My son joined the gym while he was in college in the area, and once he returned home, he was told multiple different stories as to how his membership could be cancelled. This took months to resolve, of course we had to continue paying the monthly fee. This morning, we noticed another payment was charged to his credit card. I was told they received their certified documentation 7/24/18 which started the 30 day cancellation clock. The clock didnt start with the first of multiple calls made back in June. Charlatans. Ive heard similar horror stories from other students. I would give zero stars if it was a choice.By the way, as far as the gym itself is concerned, my son said its a $10 gym. Just stick to the college facilities.

Nice, clean gym that we really enjoyed.....but billing practices are difficult. Contract expired but is automatically renewed at a higher monthly rate and an additional enhancement fee. I have moved and now have a new bank so ABC billing will not cancel my membership until I pay $194 for 2 months missed payments (again, thought contract was completed). Make sure you read every word before signing anything.

I did not appreciate this gym while I was going because of the crowds and the fact that it would close so early. The equipment is nice and they are sectioned off well. I haven’t been since the remodel but going to other gyms I have learned that this gym has a lot more of offer for the same or a cheaper price. I loved the TRX section which was spacious and available to all. The trainers were also very nice and personable.

Avg gym with free weights, cardio equipment etc. Only reason Im giving this gym a 1 star, is they give you an difficult time to cancel your membership contract. This location only provide one contract that force customers in signing hidden 2 year agreement. Lesson learn on my end, to watch out for these low monthly fee gyms with 2 year agreements. Living in New England, we deal with hard winters, but during the summer most people try to take in the sun and workout outside. I was going to cancel my membership for the summer and rejoin in the winter (which I used to do offer at LA Fitness). They offer me to freeze my account for $10 a month, which doesnt make sense to me. I will just pay the $100 buy out and never return this this scam of a gym. Gyms that dont offer free cancellation when you are current with your membership bill are scams. Again lesson learn, sometimes it pays to pay more for a gym than to deal with hidden 2-3 year agreements. Oh and always read the hidden fees**

I love this gym! The staff is great, the gym is always clean, and I always feel welcome. The classes are awesome and the personal trainers are very helpful. I would definitely recommend joining here!!

I have made so many referrals to this gym and always seem to get the run around about my reward. Scott the manager always gives me an excuse, as to why I cant get my reward. My husband was suppose to get an amazon gift card and NEVER got it. His rate was suppose to drop for referring a friend and $0 nothing!!!!Scott you have no idea how to keep long standing members who bring referrals happy!! And for that and the broken tiles in the entrance of the gym I give it 2 stars. The only reason I stay at this gym is the classes and the AMAZING INSTRUCTORS!!!!

I simply tried to get membership information over the phone. The woman refused to give me information and just repeated that I should come in and try 30 days free. I reiterated that I was just pricing around and would like that basic information. She again refused, so I asked to speak to someone else. She refused to transfer me to someone else. She was rude and unhelpful. I simply wanted information. If this is how this gym conducts business I want nothing to do with this place. Beware people.

$9.99 sounds great right? Not so much. Instead of people training you got a gym full of kids hanging out, taking up space, starring at the women wearing yoga pants. Secondly, whose the genius that decide cleaning the gym, i.e. taking ALL the running equipment off line, in the middle of the day is a smart decision? God forbid your in there way too... Way to many options to put up with a trashy environment.

Be prepared to be spoken to by the staff as if you were a moron. They are condescending and dismissive. Arrogant and uninterested in your problem. I write this after literally begging the woman behind the counter for a current schedule. She just get robotically repeating it is on the website, it is on the websiteI had just checked the schedule on the website but had misread it as it is not clear. Rather than help me figure out what my mistake was, she dismissed me.On another day, as a new member I tried to bring a friend in to view the workout space, just view, not touch any equipment. He signed a release but was still not allowed to enter until he completed a multi-page sign up sheet. He refused and we left.The equipment is broken and unsafe.I wish could get out, but Im locked in.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Has a wide array of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. Plenty of quality equipment with enough of it to go around that it never seemed crowded.

The clowns in the office are calling me about an account that was settled over 18 months ago. Their record keeping and people skills are both about a 0.5 outa 10. Dont sign up here. I moved from Springfield to Nevada and they threw an almost $800 bill at me because I didnt go through the 648 steps necessary to cancel your membership due to a move. Just go to LA fitness.

Ive been a member since the opening of this facility and have experienced every gym locally at some point I give best fitness four stars for cleanliness and daycare is awesome along with aerobics class that I visit here and there. Only observation is that their is a high turn over rate in employees.

I have been informed that no paper towels will be in the womens bathroom. I will not use the hand dryer. Please add paper towels to the bathroom!

This place the worst gym ever! I was in training session with 6 months agreement and suddenly unexpected things happened and I lost my job and etc. first my spouse went there for cancellation and they said it was okay they didnt mention cancellation fee to my spouse ! And we saw our bank statement they still take money from us we went there to whine because they are not professionally acting right! They said we have to pay a cancellation fee total training payment 310 $ . I paid it because I cant take it anymore well guess what happened next after cancellation payment they took two months payment from my account! This fitness is just unprofessional. I just feel so sorry I lost my job and I did have to pay this training... just horrible

Its a nice gym and equipments but the Gym is always crowded . (Scott) is the worst manager I have ever dealt with. ( I had to pay $160 cancellation fee after using the gym for only 4 days). they refused my request to cancel my membership after only 4 days of using the gym).

I only go for the classes which are awesome. Some issues with AC.

While I was working out a panel from the wall fell on my back. I reported the incident to the receptionist and they did absolutely nothing about it. There was nail sticking out of the panel and it was still laying on the floor at the end of my workout.

All they do is take money from you with their hidden fees in their contracts. Not worth the money, too crowded at all times of day, the trainers are annoying, there is no AC and like 2 fans, and all their shakes have milk in them with no substitutions.Your better off going to a small owned gym that wont steal all your money or a college gym for free.I would give it 0 stars at this point but it wont let me post without it.

Worst place! Charged me for 8 months of physical training when I didn’t use any. I’ll see them in court. Don’t sign up what ever you do. They took $2400 from me and did not perform the service I payed for. Steven was not helpful in resolving my issue. I guess the 93A letter I sent wasn’t a strong enough gesture of my intent to sue them. Treble damages here it comes!

Best Fitness is bribing people to write 5 star reviews its not hard to figure that out. BEWARE**Update** I contacted corporate and asked that they give me back the $200 they owed me. I explained that the manager refused to give me a hard copy of my cancellation paperwork and conveniently forgot to stop billing me because I trusted her. The guy offered me $100 and I would have taken it except that he then asked me to take down my bad reviews. Absolutely not. I cant even imagine how much money these people make in this way. Incidentally, I checked and my new gym has official hard copies to give to anyone that wishes to cancel...like a reputable business.THEY ROBBED ME!!! This place ripped me off so bad. I think one guy on here said it perfectly PREDATORY BUSINESS Avoid doing business with these people at all costs. I dont know how they can get away with doing such shady business and have such awful customer service. I really hope this place gets shut down like the other gyms all did that used to own the facility. Read your contract carefully and even if you do dont expect to get out of your contract without paying some amount that you did not agree to. Really sad companies have to operate like this. I was clearly taken advantage of and they make me sick. Like the other guy said I think the girls name is Lisa who is the Manager who REFUSED to give me a hard copy of my cancellation agreement before I left the building but had to wait for it to be emailed and it took a few minutes. Even then she spelled my name wrong. In all of the confusion in life its a wonder this kind of a thing doesnt happen to more people and people with good reviews...try and end your membership and see what happens. BAD COMPANY

Im contemplating whether or not this place deserves 3 stars and here is why;1. On going construction for ever, stuff that could get done in a couple of months takes almost a year.2. They dont keep their promises towards their members, ever.If something is out of order it never ever gets done on time. Broken steam room/sauna? It took weeks to fix it. They built brand new locker rooms. New lockers have been advertised, and when BF did actually blew my mind, not in a good way. They took old and worn out lockers from old mens room and put them into brand new locker room, they also build a brand new sauna but left a huge gap between the door and the floor. I started that to the manager two months ago and that never go addressed. Im not surprised that they didnt do anything. The front desk had marble top broken for several months and it was a hazard to the customers, they didnt fix it for months, they put a note on it dont lean. Dirty equipment too!This used to be my favorite gym in the area, the price point was right, the equipment was good and always fixed in a timely manner. They absolutely dont listen to their customers, no forums, no experience related questions so they could improve their service and gym experience. I wish I could give this place zero stars. BELIEVE ALL REVIEWS on here. I usually dont write reviews but this place needs to closed down and turned into a library or something productive. I signed up in December and was told the price was 9.99 a month and all I needed was first and last payment to start. Then in January Im charged 19.99 I call and they say it was a mistake we will refund. Then today I noticed I am charged 49.00 I call and they say its an enhancement fee. Never once was I told about this and when I talked to the manager Lisa she says its in your contract. Once again never was I told about this charge and whats worse when you sign up they ask you for your first and last name tell you that whats due is first and last month then they give you a paper and you are on your way. This business is a joke I will contact my attorney and corporate to see what can be done about this business.

Horrible and underqualifed management. MANUELA PEREZ to be exact is an uneducated leader, with a narcissistic bad attitude. Not worth the time. This place has had a complete staff change due to bad leadership and ownership has done nothing to rectify it. Spend your money at Century fitness or planet fitness, but definitely not here.

Misleading membership cost and free trial advertisment. Ive wasted time trying to become a member twice based on the advertised no enrollment fee and 9.99 a month. The truth is they charge 2 months up front plus a 2$ fee if you pay with a debit card. So thats around 25$ to become a member. Its not a huge deal breaker but Ive lost trust over this and I would now never give my banking information to them. Also found that the2 week free trial is only a ploy the get people to physically go to the location for the sales pitch. They in no way offer a free trial of any kind. The gym itself seems to be progressive and big enough with enough gear that you wouldnt be waiting for equipment.

Worst environment- filthy vents which I was told 3 times were being cleaned- lies. Now during renovations they are too cheap to shut down & do it properly, so everyone is pushed together on available machines. Other than cheap paneling and turf on floor in front, no one has a clue what plans are. Too bad such a poor excuse for gym in such a convenient area

Called to find out JUST the PRICE of the membership they would not tell me if I did not sign up for the free trial. When I said I just wanted a price they gave me attitude now it’s 2 days later and I keep being harassed by them with phone calls and voicemails about coming to the gym to look around and sign up. Ive been a Best Fitness member for about 3 years, and theyre a great chain. They have several locations in MA & the greater Albany area and Ive been to most of them, but the Springfield gym is most convenient for me on a regular basis. The gym is gorgeous. Lots of space, a very nice selection of: machines, free weights, and cardio options. Things to note: this Best Fitness has TRX, a turf area with sleds, three squat racks, multiple bars for deadlifting, several flat benches and incline benches specifically for benching, a large dumbbell selection, various types of cable towers and attachments, and lots of machines to choose from.The gym is also very affordable compared to other options. Personal training programs are also offered here for an additional cost, but I would caution you when signing up to remember that not all trainers are created equally, and to learn about the credentials, experience, and attitudes of the different trainers before you sign up with one.Youll find a wide range of people training here. Cardio bunnies, bodybuilders, power lifters, people who are just getting started, you name it, theyre there. All sorts of ages and body types too. Best Fitness doesnt have an official no judgements policy the way other establishments do, but youll find that the environment is inclusive and open to all, as long as youre respectful!

I dnt take a look at the inside, I just came in today to activate my 30 day complimentary free membership which was the biggest waste of my time. They bugg the hell out of you with texts to come activate it and when i walked in I got greeted by scott he started a process of taking info and asking lots of questions about my goals and telling me about group classes and what not. I explained to him that all I want is to activate my 30 day free membership and just proceed with my workout, but this guy kept going back to the same point trying to force me in joining group classes and that I am not achieving my goals, which was very annoying and unprofessional. In the end he told me you cant get a free trial cuz u dnt live in the area.I simply took my stuff and left.

Typical terrible gym membership management. Let me start by saying they have a great setup and great personal training staff which I enjoyed. The problem is that their business model consists of locking a member in and then even when they move out of state, somehow losing the cancellation paperwork you fill out in person. They then turn around and send it to the best harassment collections company in the crooked gym membership business, swift funds financial. Its now affecting my credit report negatively and Best Fitness continues to fight me saying I owe them over $300 for months I never checked in to the gym since I had moved across the country. I handled the cancellation in person twice and over the phone with the location and corporate and yet somehow they still dont have any paperwork on file. Beware of what you sign and keep copies of everything you sign, especially if its cancellation paperwork because they can and will try to steal your money. My trainer at the time actually quit working at Best Fitness because of their shady practices. Again other than typical fraudulent membership fee stealing its a good location w/ good equipment.

Went back after avoiding summer months when they did remodeling while people tried to work out. After all the hoopla- it STILL has filthy dirty vents on ceiling and almost no ventilation so warm, smelly air everywhere. The manager told me 2 years ago that the vents were being cleaned- liar. If u open windows they throw you out. Seriously Unhealthy

Best fitnest corp or abc needs to Fire Lisa Dumbrowski the manager who is destroying best fitness in springfield. Best fitness has the worsted business practices and expect to have your credit card improperly charged if your dumb enough to sign up. Ive been a residential of spfld for 50 years and have worked our at many gyms. Best fitness staff will make sure you over pay and will use predatory business practices to harass you if you cancel you membership. I understand why best fitness would not accept a up front one year payment. It is because they want to get your credit card number. Buyer beware of Lisa dumbrowski she says she is a manager, but could even introduce herself concerning my matter. Expect best fitness and abc financial to take you money and run. January 2016, best fitness is still trying to get another 20$ from my accounts. It is sad that best fitness are crooks and not working for the best interest of their customers.

Attention! New management is horrible! Her name is Manuela Perez and she continues to harass people who no longer work or attend the gym. She also has a bad customer service history at best fitness and very unprofessional. The Business practices are quite frankly awful!
