My wife and I just got back from an amazing Maui trip where we rented from Maui Lifted Jeep Rentals because we wanted the ability to see all of Maui, and having this Jeep made it that much more memorable! It definitely turned some heads from other Jeep enthusiasts and valet guys. Thomas was great to work with and made the process quick and easy so we could get on the road right after landing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure on Maui.

This company is hands down what you are looking for. We took our Jeep everywhere. We did the whole road to Hana and around the back. We drove to beaches, golf and other activities. They said if you get a flat we will come to you. That is first class! (We never needed it) They say you don’t need a 4x4 to drive Hana or the other scary road in west Maui but our Jeep definitely made it much easier and less scary. Highly recommend getting one of you are in for adventure.My experience:The owner text me as soon as we landed and met us at baggage claim. We had a quick drive to the Jeep, did our damage checks and went on our way. We also rented their nice Tommy Bahama chairs - worth it. We had a blast!Then he drove us to the airport on our last day. We used Mostly email or Text communication-which is easier on vacation. But you can also call him-obviously. So easy and no stress.One note: we lost our Road to Hana shirts (long story). We were very upset because that was a big part of Our trip. He mailed new ones all the way to NYC!!! That is above and beyond service.***Don’t use rental car companies they can’t guarantee jeeps if that is what you want. Use Maui Lifted Jeeps! Book early!

Hands down the best way to experience Maui! We circumnavigated the entire island and loved every minute and every view. Thomas provided easier, friendlier, and more personal service than any car rental agency Ive ever used.

My wife and I spent two weeks on Maui for our honey moon, and it would not have been as magical without our custom lifted jeep. It made us feel so much more comfortable on the roads, as some of the roads are not well paved and in dangerous areas. Also, the jeep is VERY COOL, we received multiple compliments from locals while on our trip - which we passed along to Thomas whom is great. Wish I could give zero stars!!Sent this company a message at the end of December - 12/30 asking for their recommendation for a vehicle for our trip in February. They messaged me back with options for our dates and I made my reservation the next day.. well a few days later they randomly cancel everything without a reason and say they’ll start processing refunds that day. This was 01/06. My husband and I both try reaching out looking for an explanation, thinking maybe we filled out their booking form incorrectly only to be told that all further questions should be directed to the owner Thomas Scott. After I send this person an email asking what’s going on because it’s been several days, we get hit with another email saying that apparently they’re in bankruptcy court and we should file a claim against Maui Lifted Jeep Rentals through their lawyer to get “some or all of our money back”.At this point I totally feel like they took advantage of us to make some money, knowing they couldn’t provide us with a rental because they were going out of business. I just really hope they do the right thing and give us and anyone else who rented from them their money back. We’re still going to talk to our credit company about this and try to dispute it since they’re completely unhelpful and unresponsive, but the fact that we have to is ridiculous.

We had the best experience in Maui and Thomas at Mauiliftedjeep was great to work with. We arrived 4 hours earlier than our reservation and he made special pickup arrangements for us. We drove the road to Hana backwards and had tons of fun lookin cool in our jeep! Skip the restrictions and pay the same for a lifted jeep from these guys.

5 stars is too low to give to this company… Should be 10 stars or above! Renting our lifted jeep from Maui Lifted Jeep Rentals was sooo smooth, easy, and the price was right. You might ask yourself, why would rent a jeep instead of a sports car or convertible when visiting Maui??? Well, for starters, you can’t drive faster than about 45 mph anywhere so speed doesn’t matter. We were able to take the top off everyday and enjoy the wind in our hair and sun on our faces (just like a convertible), which was especially great on the road to Hana. And the MAIN reason we got the Jeep was to visit Jaws on the North Shore. You MUST (I repeat MUST) have 4-wheel drive to drive all the way back to it, unless you want to walk about a mile through the mud (and yes, the entire road is mud and half washed out). There were multiple abandoned old cars on the “road” to Jaws, but our Jeep plowed through the water/mud and up and down the mud-soaked hills without so much as a hiccup or even slip of the tires. The drive to Jaws was by-and-far the highlight of our Maui trip 😊… oh, and Jaws was cool too! The icing on the cake was when my wallet fell out in our Jeep on the road to Jaws and I accidentally left it there after we returned it (we returned the Jeep and then went to a different part of the island). I called Thomas about an hour after we left (once I realized it) and he found it and literally drove 45 min to where we were staying to bring it to me out of the goodness of his heart! He’s an absolute #boss. I’ve NEVER had customer service like that in my life! Great ride. Great price. Great owner. Unforgettable adventures! Would rent nothing else if we get back to Maui again!

By far the simplest rental car process I have ever experienced. Picked us up at the airport and were driving the jeep away in a matter of minutes. Jeep was well maintained. We were able to stay in communication with the owner when we had questions. Would not hesitate to rent from again.

This was one of the best and easiest decisions we made when we planned our trip to Hawaii! The gentleman that runs the company is super responsive and excellent with communication. He picks you up right from the airport and shuttles you to his shop where all his Jeeps are. We had no complications at all while renting the Jeep, and even if we did he assured us he would meet us anywhere to come fix any issues! After doing some research on rental cars on the island, this ended up being the same price if not cheaper than renting a normal normal boring vehicle. And if that’s not enough, you look really cool when you’re driving a jacked up Jeep around the island. 10/10 would recommend their services!

This is the only place to rent from on Maui! Thomas was great to work with. He communicated well with us before we arrived about picking us up and then we just signed the paperwork and were off with our jeep. It is a great vehicle for exploring the island and keeping all of your gear in, or pulling the top off and cruising in the sun. Would definitely rent from Thomas again!

We are a family with two kids. We rented a jeep end of March 2019. I can only say all the best about service. It was outstanding. Jeep was amazing, cannot think of better way to drive in Maui and see the island. Thomas provided an excellent service from the beginning to the end, very friendly and personal. Maui Lifted Jeep was awesome! Save time standing in the two-hour airport car rental line and book with Maui Lifted Jeep instead. Thomas was extremely responsive from the get go and picked us up right outside of baggage claim to take us to our rental. We were in our Jeep and on our way within 20 minutes. The 5-passenger lifted soft top was the absolute perfect rental for the week, including our trip to Hana. Even the two chairs in the trunk was the perfect touch! I can’t recommend this company enough!

We rented from Maui Lifted Jeeps last week while staying in Kaanapali. This is NOT the type of Jeep you can get from a chain type rental place, these Jeeps are the best. I got so many complaints on how nice our Jeep was and believe me there are Jeeps all over the island, but these Jeeps are custom! It was so much fun to drive. We had a soft top which was easy to learn to remove/put on the top. Thomas was so nice and helpful, I highly recommend shopping local and getting one of the best Jeeps in Maui throng Maui Lifted Jeeps.

Rented a soft top 4 door Wrangler Sport and it was perfect. I hate that all the other rental companies only have hard tops - who wants to drive around in such perfect weather with the top on the entire time?!? The Jeep was brand new and in perfect condition. The lift and bigger tires not only makes this Jeep not look like every other rental (wont look like a tourist) but also make it very off road capable for all those dirt road explorations. Ill definitely rent from them again next time.

Great service and rad rides. It’s nice to be in something a little different driving around the island, so many mustangs and regular jeeps. Also pretty reasonable considering all the options out there for anything 4x4 through the big rental companies.

Unfortunately due to COVID and border closures our trip had to be cancelled to the island back in March. We contacted Maui Lifted Jeep Rental regarding the cancellation and the possibility for a refund. We were told that it wouldnt be an issue and that it would be processed in the next few days. After multiple calls and assurances (with excuses to the delay) it would be refunded it has still not been processed 5 months later.

So at first I had booked a Jeep and needed to cancel it a few days after. They wanted to still charge me 50% of the entire eight day rental cost! Mind you, this was several months in advanced. So I decided to go with them because if not I would need to basically gift them $600. They picked me up at the airport on time which was great. But when I got the jeep; the tires were low on air (TPMS light displayed on dash), the spare tire was missing, and the engine was low on coolant (low coolant warning light came on)! It was a whole gallon low on coolant! If Im paying over a grand for a rental car. I expect it to be in top shape! I should not need to top off the radiator and I should not need to adjust the tire pressure. I own an auto shop in Los Angeles, so getting in a rental car and seeing warning lights on the dashboard is especially annoying to me. Also its a risk renting out a jeep (Or any car for that matter) with no spare tire. I told the employee Thomas about these problems and his only response was, I would have changed the tire for you if you had a flat.When I spend time on the island I do not necessarily want to wait on the side of the road for someone to come bring me a spare tire. Justifying a mistake with an excuse rather than apologizing for your lack of professionalism is not okay. Especially after I paid more than a grand to rent your vehicle for a week. Service was okay but not worth the price tag. There are several other Jeep rental companies on the island that offer free cancelation and offer much better pricing. Wish I had better things to say about this rental company but they left a bad taste in my mouth. With their predatory cancelation policy and their unmaintained Jeeps. I do not think I will be renting from them again. Oh and guys, pay your local mechanic. I heard what you did from a local.

Yep, we did it. We rented a lifted Jeep on Maui. And oh so glad we did!! It was fun to cruise around in and Thomas couldnt have been more accommodating. We booked online, received our confirmation, Thomas texted us when we landed said he would be outside baggage claim waiting on us. He loaded our luggage and shuttled us maybe 4 blocks to the Jeep. He already had paperwork complete. We just signed and drove off!!We drove the road to Hana and Seven pools, Haleakala Crater, Iao Needle, Lahaina, and Kaanapali. Never had an issue one and everyone commented on how sharp the Jeep was.The return was just as simple. Met Thomas back at warehouse, he transferred our luggage, and drove us right back to the airport. He is aone man band I guess but ALOT easier than standing in line at rental counter!!! I would highly recommend renting a lifted Jeep from him.Thanks again Thomas for the Jeep and all your help. Easy as pie!!We WILL be renting again next time. The Holleys from TEXAS!!!

This was an awesome vehicle to have on the island. I surprised my wife with upgrading us to a jeep from a normal rental car and Im so glad I did. We needed a jeep to get to our place we were staying at. The guy was so nice and let us take the jeep anywhere on the island. We were able to go anywhere we wanted on the island even place they wouldnt let other rental cars. This was so much better than going with a normal rental agency because we didnt have to wait in line to get the jeep and the paperwork took less than 2 mins to do. The owner was so nice he picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. When we dropped the jeep off we told him we had a flat of water in the back and he said that anything left in the jeep is given to the homeless which we thought was an awesome thing. These people care about giving you an awesome time on the Island. This is the only rental vehicle we will do on maui. Mahalo!
