Outstanding customer service, excellent repairsI have been a customer here for over 3 years and one of the biggest reasons that I am is because Kenny finds the problem and fixes it, he doesnt try to convince you that you have other underlying issues like other mechanics do.I recently heard a noise in my car, not being a mechanic it was hard to describe the noise or where exactly it was coming from, I tried my best. He tried a couple of things but finally was able to pinpoint the exact problem and fixed it.Im a driver and keep my car immaculate as well as have my vehicle serviced regularly. I have referred several people here and they all repeatedly thank me. If youre looking for a respectable, honest and sincere mechanic Kenny and his team are who you should see.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Route 5 for at least 15 years. The service is always excellent with fair pricing. They are honest and always explain what needs to be done and why. I totally trust them and highly recommend them.

Ive used Rt. 5 over the past few years for all different services, from oil changes to car repairs. Every time Ive gotten any service from them, they follow through with great prices and always set accurate expectations with when I can expect my car ready by. I happened to start using here due to not having a regular mechanic because the one I used to use retired and now I plan to stay using Rt. 5 for all I can going forward.

Rt. 5 is the most professional auto body shop i have ever come across.By the way, They are truly honest and upfront about all aspects of repair, pricing and go out of their way to accommodate you.

Very smooth state inspection process and friendly staff

Brought a tire from my wife’s car to be patched due to a screw. So there’s no confusion it was already off the car and I installed it back on. Mechanic says he’ll just plug it. I hesitated thinking it should be patched and then figured meh good enough it will be fine. I never asked how much but I wished I had. $32.50 the clerk asked me for after my 7 minutes being there. I did not argue and just handed it over the cash. My personal opinion that’s a rip off to plug a tire. Funny thing is I was going to buy a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports off them but now not even interested how much.

I brought my car to rt. 5 auto because I had ONE squeaky break pad and they tried telling me I needed all 4 breaks AND rotors replaced for $650. So no problem, I told them I would not like them to proceed with the work and when I picked up my car they hit me with a $52 diagnosis fee. Now, maybe this is a common fee at these auto shops (in my business we call them estimates) but Im in the painting business and were happy to provide current and potential customers with free estimates AT THEIR LOCATION because were happy that they considered our company for their painting needs. Its unfortunate that companies can get away with this right now because the economy is hot and business is plenty but when things slow down and the business stops flowing in well see how carelessly these shops throw around their fees.

I stopped into this place, heading to a meeting, with an unexpected flat tire. They were so accommodating. Changed the tire and had me back on the road in about 15-20 minutes! They ordered a new tire and took care of it the very next day. Great experience and very reasonable!

Been going here coming on three years and had a variety of work done from small to moderate work. Excellent fast service, whomever works on your car will come and talk with you if need be. They always try to accommodate me whether I call a day or a week ahead.Not many places you can go and be in and out for an oil change in less than 30 minutes... Give them a try.

I was having a near emergency with a borrowed car; leaving work the oil was practically empty and the hood was stuck shut. I pulled in literally one minute before close, desperate for some help before driving 30 miles home to Massachusetts.The gentleman (not sure who) inside helped me out, topped up my oil, charged me a very reasonable price, and gave no indication that I was inconveniencing them by coming in at literally the last minute.Of course I cant speak for the quality or price for repairs, but at least the customer service was absolutely the best I could have asked for.

Holly is so nice and theyve always been able to get me in right away for breakdowns. Ive called with some rediculous car questions and Route 5 always takes care of my questions and services/repairs my car at a fair price.

Truck didnt even start I was a 2012 dead battery and who knows what else so I left. ask them if they accept trades and they didnt have an answer but they told me it was 7500 for the truck good luck with that two stars Im being generous

I went here for a belt replacement. In less than an hour they diagnosed it and within 4 hours it was fixed. Very fast service. Their labor charge is a bit higher than other places Ive been but the speed and good work made up for it in my opinion.

The folks here are like dealing with family. Helpful, pleasant, and always professional.

I took my vehicle there for a repair that I knew what the problem was and they did not try to diagnose it as anything additional and the parts and labor was in line with what should have been charged. They were professional and the business has a nice enviroment. These days it is hard to find mechanics that are fair and competent and so far they meet this criteria. I will take my truck there for any future repairs.

Great service, took car in right at appt time with no undue waiting.

They charged me $20 just to change a headlight on my car! I had to pay it, because they didn’t tell me what they were charging me when I first walked in. When they were done, then they said $20! That small incident will make me not go back there for anything again!

$800 charge for changing an alternTor on a Camry.Shoild be a crime.Stay away from here.

Would normally give this place a 5 star rating until the last time that I went in. They tried to scam me for an entire exhaust system when all I needed was a $ 45.00 exhaust pipe, and paid $25.00 for brake pads, when they tried to claim that I needed pads and rotars replaced. They wanted to charge rediculious prices!!!

Very pricy for what u get! They refilled the power steering fluid for me and charged me over $100! Very disappointing! I suggest Broad Street Garage in Woonsocket
