Highly do NOT recommend renting from here. put my application in about a week ago and they wait to tell me that it was denied until i call them and then she tells me she can’t tell me why we got denied. the lady working at the office is the most rudest person i have ever met. they definitely do not work with you. when we went to view the house the guy even said the stove was out and that he wasn’t going to fix it until someone complains. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT U DO NOT RENT FROM RNA. RUDEST PEOPLE EVER!

We have had a great experience at RNA. Maintenance requests are answered promptly. I had an issue with my dishwasher early on. The maintenance workers couldnt fix it so they replaced it with a new one!These apartments are affordable (especially compared to other apartments in Owensboro) and they are renovating many of them. Our apartment had energy efficient windows.. the OMU bill was never over $80, which was amazing. The only issues we have had is littering and parking. There is always so much trash on the ground! This is no fault to RNA, but rather, its tenants. Parking can also be an issue when tenants have unauthorized vehicles on the lot repeatedly, so that is something to keep in mind.Overall, I would recommend Oakbrooke apartments to anyone that is needing a smaller space. They are located in a centralized area and are very affordable.

Moved to Owensboro from IN 2 years ago and was so fortunate to find RNA. Rates are great and units are clean. Quick response to repairs or any issues. Only moved because we bought a house. Thank you Debbie and all RNA staff for making our stay a good one

If I could rate this lower, I would. My best friend and I were in talks with RNA for a while, applied, paid our application fees, and waited. We were told when we applied that it would only be three to five business days to hear back. After two weeks or so, we even looked at the house on 4th St., which we took as a good sign, and the house was actually quite lovely and within a decent proximity to our places of work. The same day, we went to the office and asked about when wed hear the verdict on background checks and the whole shebang, and we were told it would be just a few hours when they would call to let us know. (And Debbie absolutely said she would call us without any doubt.in either of our minds.) Over a month has gone by, yet we havent heard a word from them. You got our $50, so congratulations. Thats all youre getting from us. Weve found somewhere else to live, and it took no time at all to hear back from them following background checks and get the go ahead to move in.Food for thought: If your professionalism were better, you wouldnt be receiving such unfavorable reviews. Perhaps you should spend less time trying to discredit people who disapprove of you in reviews and start calling people who need places to live. But what do I know?Update: Neither of us received phone calls on the first as RNA claims, and our phone logs prove it.

I love living with RNA. They are very nice and have done a great job renovating our building with new windows and doors. Todd does a great job fixing any issues I or any of the people around me have. I really like the way they do pest control service every 60 days. Its nice to know they care about their tenants!

I have rented from 5 different companies from all over the country and I can say that RNA is by far the best rental company I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I have been living in one of their properties for almost 3 years now and if I ever have an issue (I rarely do), I call the main office and speak with Debbie about the issue. She is very nice and sends a repair craftsman right out to fix the issue. The individuals that RNA trust with their tenant’s issues are very nice and knowledgeable and they have always fixed any issue right on the spot. If you are looking for an amazing rental company around the Owensboro area, I would definitely try out RNA rental properties first, and you will see for yourself that this the only rental company you should deal with. RNA Rentals provides superior customer service to their tenants. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment from them this past summer. It was easy and fast. The staff has been a real pleasure to work with.

Excellent rental company. Most of the negative reviews you will see on Google are from disgruntled ex tenants who trashed their apartments and expected to get their deposits back. RNA tries hard to get and retain good tenants and takes very good care of their properties. You can see for yourself - all of their properties have their ownership signs on them. Stop by the office on Carter Road and see for yourself before discounting their business due to mad tenants.

I lived with RNA for 2 years and they were awesome. They were prompt with any maintenance as well as worked with me when it came to moving out to make the process as simple as possible.

Im writing this out of sincere appreciation. We applied for the house next to the rental agency on Carter back in July. Paid the $25 (×3) application fee, and were told by Debbie that our financial situation shouldnt be a problem. Were from out of state, so we waited. And waited. Called every day trying to check up on the latest and were always give the same old tagline: the guy that approves wont be in until four or so. They close at five. When we finally were just told You were denied., we were given the same line. Debbie wouldnt tell us why and her boss never bothered to called us back. They LOVE to fire back in the comments. Its useless knowledge, now. Im writing this to praise and STRONGLY RECOMMEND Rose Reality. They did literally everything RNA didnt and actually did it with a smile on their face. If youre looking for a rental property in Owensboro, I HIGHLY suggest that you skip this place. We dodged a serious bullet here and seventy five bucks is a very small price to pay for it!

We ended up not moving to Owensboro, so we no longer needed a rental. However, from the very start, the entire staff was professional, yet friendly and very prompt. The entire process went very quickly and we were approved. I appreciated that they corresponded via email, as it is difficult for me to hear, especially on the phone. The owners genuinely care about the reputation of the company and simply seeing that they responded to all of their online ratings, lead me to the decision that our family would chose them to rent from. This is a long standing, respectable organization in Owensboro and is a clear choice for anyone in the market for a clean and safe rental.

I moved to the area in July, looked at a couple different companies, RNA had the best looking properties by far. The original apartment I was supposed to get had a broken pipe, due to the time frame of my move, I was moved to a different apartment with out problem. The AC was out when I moved in but was fixed within a couple hours of notifying the office.Both of the Ladies that work in the office are very pleasant to talk to and work with.

Recently rented an apartment at RNA; really nice people, great apartments, and the rent was really fair

Absolutely awful rental company. They tried to claim I owed them several hundred dollars when I moved out, and when I called to dispute the charges I always got the runaround. I called a couple times a month for a year after I moved out and could never get in contact with the person in charge of assessing damages. 4 years after moving out, RNA claimed to another leasing company I still owed them $160. First time Id ever heard that figure. At that point I decided $160 was well worth never having to hear the letters RNA again. So I dropped off payment in the night deposit box. It took them nearly 4 days after that to verify they got the payment. Totally incompetent, terrible rentals, extremely rude staff and apparently an owner that cant be bothered to settle previous balances or even check the deposit box for payments. An all-around nightmare.

In February I went to rent and got a sheet and explained what I wanted and the lady explained they had one not posted, wrote down the details. I asked if I could view it the following week and if I liked it for the price she informed me, I would take it. When viewing day came I around I wanted and even attempted to speak with the neighbors and I waited a additional 10 minutes only to call and wait a additional 5 minutes. For a onsite. Then returned to the office for a price hike as opposed to the original rent rate and when I mentioned it. The office lady got extremely rude. Long story short I will not rent from them. Regardless of there convenient locations to many work locations on the west end.

Ive really enjoyed living here. The management works really hard to make sure the place is nice. They dont tolerate sore heads or people mis behaving. Makes for a really nice place to live. I saw some of the negative reviews and thought I should put in my 2 cents. If you decide to rent from them you wont regret it!

AWFUL! I rented this place after seeing it posted on Zillow. I had spent the time and money communicating with Rodney Bean the property owner who sent me photos of the home. I paid him an $850.00 rental deposit and $350 partial months rent. When I arrived the gas was not turned on and I could not take a hot shower. There were rodent droppings in one of the kitchen cabinets and along side the refrigerator which had small dead roaches in the freezer. The oven was missing oven racks and did not work. There was a strong stench of urine in another kitchen cabinet . The hot water tank was condemned by the gas company Atmos and I couldnt shower or wash dishes or cook for my first 5 days there. I told Rodney that he should have made sure the house was move in ready before he rented it to me and took my money. I paid him through Zelle so he had access to cash immediately. When I asked him to refund my deposit he told me he had to check with his lawyer since I broke the lease as the place was uninhabitable. He wanted me to wait and then give him my new address so he could mail me a check. I dont want this creep having my new address. He could easily send my money back through Zelle but refuses to do so.

There a lot comments about the staffs is rude.. i think I know who you all talking about. But not all of them are rude. The ladie that show me the apartment is very nice, friendly and fun.. the reasons why I want to move to another apartment is up stair people is loud during night and quiet during day while I was sleep at night. And there people who always fixed their car on parking lot twice a week during weekend that make me park on the side road. I have no problem with RNA tho. It took a little bit time to waiting for response but at least it doesn’t took a month..

Honestly, im surprised that this place has not been put out of business. The management staff is rude and obnoxious. They like to steal peoples deposit money. I do not recommend this place at all!

Go anywhere else!! The receptionist Debbie is one of the rudest people that you will ever encounter in life. They wanted $2500 down for me to move in, ludicrous!!!! They wanted to charge me $863 non refundable pet fee(my two dogs weigh less than 10 pounds together) on top of the 5% rent increase for the dogs, ridiculous! They also wanted to charge me extra deposit because I was changing jobs. I was moving from a different city, and going back to the same job that I was at for 6 years before I left town. They didn’t even have the decency to call me and let me know that I was approved for the apartment.

I have nearly perfect credit so naturally I was offered a rental immediately. Apartments are disgusting, staff is unfriendly. After applying and looking at the rentals, we were informed by a reliable, accredited, source that RNA will steal your deposit for normal wear and tear, lying to do so, specifically elderly/disadvantaged which is the story I heard about. IFinding this out only once we paid application fee and wasted our time and I wish we had looked at google reviews first. I’m glad people are doing that now. If you have ANY other option, even a hotel, for a rental explore those opportunities first. Anything but here. I am surprised this company is in business, although I’m sure they won’t be for long if we get word out. Terrible. Karma will not allow them to take advantage of working citizens for much longer either. Gross, unprofessional, thieves, and fake. They sold us a dream good thing we didn’t take it. God Bless RNA and I hope you pursue better business practices and find a conscience soon. In the meantime, you didn’t get any of our hard earned money!!

Poor management! It took them about 10 days to deny my stepdaughter. It didnt matter to management that they had successfully rented to her in the past with myself being a cosigner. Management lost a good renter with a proven past history with RNA rental. They took 10 days to deny. Im happy that Im not the owner of these rental properties. You might say that they have a case of the Slows :-)

Debbie at the reception center was very rude. She interrupted me several times while I was just asking questions. Not only that, but she also had a very hostile tone in her voice, and kept repeating herself, making me feel like I was stupid. Very poor service, would not recommend

The maintenance crew has no clue what they are doing & the office personnel tend to have a nasty disposition. Things did not work properly (like water line, gas leak upon first week of move in date, & hot as Hades in apartment) but rent was cheap. The lady below me was a HORRIBLE-IMPOSSIBLE person to have to live near but I guess in this case you get what you pay for

The lady at the Carter Road office is a monster. She ran my background without my consent. Talked to me like i was trash and ive witnessed her do it to several others in person and on the phone. The apartments on Towne Square Court are infested with brown recluse spiders. I have pictures and ive been bitten while visiting my boyfriend.

Never got an answer on my application until after they rented the apartment... The bad thing was they took my 375 dollar deposit and didnt hold the apartment.... They sure kept the application fee without giving a yes or so on the approval until I went to get my deposit back... they still gave me no answer on appoval even when I went to get deposit back due to them renting my apartment out... I called about a week or so later to find out my appoval status and the rude office staff said management didnt approve me.... In other words they stole 25 Dollars from me and pulled a Bate and switch... do not rent from this company that has terrible business practices....

I see nothing but bad reviews for RNA. I applied for RNA apt over a year ago...maybe 2 yrs ago? RNA is very unprofessional. So rude and unfriendly. I went to the office to check out apts and one of the staff members was at war with another staff member over chairs. He locked an office chair in his work van to hide it before showing me apts. He later called me and told me I had been approved for the apt, but the rent increased and the deposit doubled. I asked why everything was wayyy more than quoted. He got defensive and offered no explanation other than that was the owners decision. I asked him if he could find out from the owner why the deposit doubled. He said something like, look, do you want it or not? There are other people who will take it if you dont. So, I said, no, thank you. Crooked.

Debbie the office manager is rude. They just throw the apartments together. And they’re fraudulent in the office. I hope Debbie is fired!!
