I normally dont write reviews like this, but I wanted to make my experience known to other people. I moved to Slidell from NYC about 3 months ago. In NYC I had a hairdresser that did an outstanding job for the last 2 years. I moved down here and looked for the business with the best reviews and figured Id give Bella Style Salon a shot. I was given an appointment with a girl named Holly. I always bring my own dye because this is what I have been using; getting excellent results for years. When I asked Holly to use this dye, she said it was a liability to use any dye that is not the salons. I found the entire appointment to be in-personable, minus the champagne. She dyed my roots and never checked on me, but only to wash my hair at the end. For the money I spent here, this is not right. Most importantly, the result is horrible, about a week after appointment I started noticing my roots turning reddish orange. My husband and I used the dye at home that I initially asked the salon to use. As you can see in the pictures (left and middle are before / right is after). My husband has no experience dying hair and did a better job, this is not cool. The liability here is that I was not allowed to use my own product when I was paying a lot for this appointment. I will not be back here, that is 100% certain. Again, I do not EVER leave reviews like this, but I am extremely disappointed with this.

Holly is truly amazing!! At first going in today, I was nervous going full on blonde, but she picked out the right tone for me that fits my skin tone and looked great with my dark eyebrows. And her energy immediately flushed my nervousness away. I’m so happy with my experience today and I’m so excited for my next appointment 🥰

I had the best experience at Bella hair the customer service is exceptional they really listen to what their clients want she did a beautiful job on my color and cut they offer several different drinks and even a hand and arm massage with my shampoo!!! Will definitely be back

I just returned home after a haircut appointment with Lauren, and said to my husband “I absolutely LOVE my new salon!”I’m NOT a “foofoogirl” so when I do go to a salon, I really want it to be special… and Bella Salon makes me feel like a princess!Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, surroundings are pristine and hip, and Lauren is one of the only stylists I ever had that listens me to and does what I ask while giving me good advice if I’m a little “off”!

Lauren was so knowledgeable about hair and my hair in particular- even though it was my first time at this salon. Everyone was very friendly and I loved the confidence in Lauren regarding my hair. I love love love my new style and color! I will be a regular customer from here on out. Oh and it didn’t break the bank! Amen!!!

As always a fantastic experience! Color is beautiful….perfect hints of Auburn. Danielle always listens patiently and delivers spot on. Everyone at Bella is a pleasure and genuinely happy to see you.❤️

I’d like to say my experience in the salon with the employees was wonderful. Everyone is extremely sweet and they make you very comfortable. I paid for the master stylist which is the most expensive hair cut they offer, but I figured you get what you pay for and had no issue doing so. She is a lovely woman so I hate to leave this review, but before going in and even as I was in the chair getting my hair cut I overly expressed I do not like my hair straight across I like it to go into a smooth point down my spine. I was reassured the entire time it was easy to do and not a problem. When she was done with my hair it looked beautiful in the front, she styled it nice and the cut looked great from the front. It wasn’t until I got home and my sisters mouth dropped from seeing the back that I had noticed there was a huge issue, she then took a picture of the back so I could see it. I have a gap of hair missing and one long strand on the side. It’s very choppy and un even, and I messaged the salon first just wanting an apology (after what I paid an apology was the first thing they should have done) because there’s no way I would let her work on my hair again. But I got no apology and was told to come in to have it fixed. No thanks I will not be returning.On a side note the waxing though was great, I had my eyebrows done and they look incredible and she was also a doll to be around.*****Update, the did not wait til Monday to make sure I was happy, the contacted me RIGHT AWAY on a weekend day ❤️ I will say the way it was handled I would definitely give them another try!

I had come in here once before and had a good experience. Unfortunately, the second and third time I went were not good. I went for a balayage style color in rose gold. I came out with pink and purple hair. Not only did she not get it on her first try, but she didnt get it on her second try either. She must have said ill be right back three times as she tried different colors before telling me I had to go a week with this mess until she could fix it the following week. The second attempt at rose gold came out reddish orange! And this was after consulting with the colorist. $340 and two weeks later it all washed out. Sure, it was pretty while it lasted, but if you want what you ask for - pick another salon.

Absolutely love her! She gave me a first great experience at the salon! I’m in love with my hair and already received so many compliments!

Bella Style salon is my go to, this salon really has it together, absolutely gorgeous, very skilled and professional staff, have been going here for many years, they did hair and make up for my daughters wedding, had derma plane facial today and let me tell you, it was the most relaxing hour I’ve had in a long time and my skin is so soft and smooth, I treated myself for my birthday, but now I feel like I will treat myself to this every month !!!!

Awe!!! I loved meeting Lauren, and I am so happy with how my hair turned out. She was recommended by a friend, and I remember the first time Lauren did her hair, I was blown away by how beautiful it looked. And now, my hair is pretty too :) Not only is she a very talented hairdresser, she is SO NICE, so easy to talk to, and I genuinely enjoyed the whole experience because she put me at ease :)

I LOVED the entire experience! Today I learned that a hair appointment should be an experience and this certainly was. You can just tell when you walk in how professional these girls are. They are well trained and educated. Theyre all very pleasant and made me feel at home.The biggest thing for me though was my hair stylist, Tiffany, listened to me and actually did what I wanted her to do to my hair! She took her time and did an excellent job! She explained what products she used on my hair and I was able to purchase those products in the salon as well.I dont have to search further for a salon! I am new to the area and I brought my son in for a much needed cut and it was a great experience! We were greeted at the door with such a positive attitude, the stylist did a fabulous job with my sons haircut and was so pleasant, and one of the girls even walked us out to my vehicle with umbrellas so we wouldnt get wet!! What amazing customer service to go above and beyond like that!! Weve definitely found our salon!

We called to see how much it would cost for a basic 2 year old boy hair cut. They said $30!!! Then the kady said but we go by how long thw hair cut takes. So if it takes 15 minutes it would be $15. Im sorry but yall are wrong to charge people for baby haircuts that way. We will never go to this place. Im sorry yall care more about yalls time and money overhappy customers.

Such a friendly,clean and inviting environment. I went to get eyelash extensions and was very happy with my service. I did have a minor issue a couple of days later and called, they instantly offered a solution. Great customer service,I would highly recommend Bella for any services you need that they provide!!!

I love Lauren! She is helping me transition from dark colored hair to my natural gray without going full on gray. Lauren is an expert with colors and she always cuts my hair perfectly. She explains all options to me. I completely trust Lauren to provide the best care for my hair. She has been extremely patient with me throughout this process.

Noelanni is always so nice and does an exceptional job with my hair and Sarah is always smiling and so nice when she greets me. An amazing business that truly caters to the people!

Now this may come off as weird but I had an affair with this lovely man with Blue braids. Now my man may provide for us, but he doesnt know how to provide me with my needs. But blue braids over here has a strong sense wonder in him but thanks to his lovely blue braids, they really sealed the deal for me bb. Caitlyn (sp), was terrific. She took time to hear what I wanted and made it happen. This is the first time I have ever left a hair salon and did not feel the need to redo my hair or unhappy because it was nothing like what I asked for. I will definitely be back 🤗

This was my first time visit at Bellas and I have to say that this was a very organized, friendly and clean environment. My haircut stylish Taylor was awesome. She had to actually fix my hair from another salon not to mention my hair was uneven all around and a big section of hair on the back of my head was cut so sort that I had to cut my all my hair real short to make it look right. Taylor you did a great job fixing my hair. I love it and Im keeping this style. Thank you very much.

Kayli did an excellent job with my hair color, highlights, and hair cut. She took time and listened to my needs, I was very pleased with the results. Kayli is knowledgeable, professional and skilled in her profession. I highly recommend Bella Style and Kayli! She is wonderful!

Katelynn did an amazing job on my hair! I honestly went in for a chop because I thought my hair was helpless, and she talked me out of it showing me that my hair was healthy enough and that there was still opportunity for growth like I wanted! Called in to schedule an appt for me and my fiance for cuts. I told the receptionist I need a hair and beard trim for my fiance. She didnt mention that they arent doing beards right now. She just played it off... a couple minutes later I explicitly asked if they were doing beards THEN she said they werent due to masks. Could have said that before and saved all of us time.Plus they were weird about beauty budgets. Wanting to know what my beauty budget was. Like lady I need a haircut. How expensive can a cut be? Throw some cost tiers at me instead of making me feel stupid.EDIT: The the director of operations called me to apologize and worked with me on a solution. Would consider coming here! :)

I enjoyed my time at Bella salon so much!!. My stylist, Katelynn, really was invested in helping make sure I had a personalized experience. She was very knowledgeable and eager to help with recommending products she felt would help me. With her recommendations and personal testimony to the product, I purchased the “Aveda Botanical Repair” that I can NOT wait to try. She also cut both my sons hair, and was very kind and patient and made sure they were comfortable and stood from her chair feeling more handsome than ever. All in all, our time with Katelynn left us feeling as though we were her most important and loved clients, which is all you can possibly want when looking for a salon to call home... Spot On!Ive always wanted to try hair extensions, along with other trending beauty desires.I absolutely love the outcome of my hair. Noelani matched the hair extension color perfectly to my own hair. She was very friendly and professional throughout my visit. The install time was about 3 hours for 3 rows and and it was painless. I decided to do it for added length and fullness. It looks sexy and natural. The hair feels real to the touch. I braid it at night so it stays virtually tangle free. It was an added bonus to receive Full bottles of Shampoo and Conditioner along with other hair products and instructions that are meant for extensions and maintaining a healthy look. I also received a curling iron to create my own looks and locks. I was offered a variety of beverages while there. Some of the choices were for adults only. I really like Lauren. I appreciated her honesty at my visit yesterday, the 17th. She could have told me, yeah, you need toner, lets get started but she looked through my hair and said it was all good. No brassiness, etc. and recommended a purple treatment and conditioner instead and we booked for October. I believe shes a keeper! Not many stylist would have done that. I believe I chose wisely with this one. Thank you Lauren!

The best haircut experience ever! Tiffanie took the time to teach me how to volumize my fine, thin hair. She introduced me to some unique styling products without pushing me to buy them (...but I sure DID buy them!) The cut she gave me was perfect for adding movement and depth to my otherwise flat hair. I found my new stylist, for sure. She was so personable, down-to-earth and easy to chat with, as well. Im really thankful for her.

Tiffani is truly amazing! I have never loved a hair cut as much as I love this one. I got a bad haircut when I first moved here, and she fixed it. She’s also really well-versed in the products and found me a perfect fit. I will never let anyone else cut my hair. I would give this 10/5 if it let me.

The truth is.... I’ve never really LOVED my hair.... it was thin and over processed. I also felt like getting my hair done was such a “chore” and then I met Danielle! Danielle has given me confidence with my hair and I actually look forward to coming in and getting my hair done! I now have the confidence that I’ve always wanted in my hair with extensions and a healthy color! Danielle has been a true game changer for me and my hair goals! I was celebrating my 60th birthday party and at the last minute contacted the salon for makeup application and hair styled. Noelani did a fantastic job. I received many compliments! Holly styled my hair which came out perfect. I never received many compliments when I have had my hair styled before; however, this time I received many! Much love and gratitude to these ladies as well as Angela who fit me in to have it done. Yall rock!

Bella Style Salon is not only beautiful and very clean, every employee is friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable immediately. I was greeted by my stylist Tiffany and escorted to her station. Tiffany is beautiful and is delightful company. Very talented, highly knowable, and gave me the very best hair cut In 40 years. She actually sold me products (I never buy products from a salon). I left the salon smiling and thrilled with my hair, my products (don’t tell Tiffany), and my new stylist.

Allison is so sweet and answered any questions I might have had. She makes sure every eyelash is perfect which I appreciate. It’s so relaxing that I fall asleep each time!

Kayla is an excellent esthetician; shes very skilled at her craft and well informed on the latest skincare products and procedures. Ive been getting my lashes done with her for a few months now and I always leave happy. She takes her time and shes super thorough. If youre looking for a talented esthi, I definitely recommend Kayla!
