What an amazing day at a fantastic place. Manicure and pedicure by Erica were great. Relaxing and great quality gel hands with color match. My hair was with Quincy, who was amazing. I love it! Maddie did her hair with Tiffany. It was better than we even hoped. And Tiffany gave her great instructions on how to maintain it at home.

Love this place. The service is great, the price is right, the drinks are fun.This is a favorite spot for my wife and I.Why then, the 4 star instead of 5? Since the new owners took over a few years ago, the quality of the experience has gone down somewhat. The old staff and flow of the visits were much more personal and gave you the warmth you are looking for in a spa setting. Dont get me wrong, we still love it...one of the best salons, but not what it once was.

UPDATE: already lost one nail and 3 more are already lifting up, keep in mind it hasn’t even been a week yet. This salon is a joke. When I called to complain they told me there was nothing they could do. Do not waste your money here.came in to the salon with an appointment with Erica and was let down when given Kathy to do my nails. I showed her an example photo and she picked the colors and I explained I wanted regular Polish. She used Pink acrylic powder to fill in my nails which confused me. When she began painting she didn’t even paint a base coat over the ugly pink acrylic l. You can also see how the pink acrylic only goes so far on my nails, not all the way to the tip. I also told her that I was not happy with the colors she ended up picking since it looked nothing like I wanted and she carried on. I want a refund as these nails are not worth anywhere near $70.

The only Salon I go to for my nails and hair. Debbie does my nails and Quincy does my hair and I’m always happy! Everyone is very nice and the service is great for drinks also!

When we got there seemed like they were very busy (which i won’t complain about) but it seems like this made them put someone inexperienced to do my nails. if they had told me the person could not do a design i would have been fine with a solid nail. i showed a picture to them a general idea (last picture). they switched to white acrylic half way through and just told me it would look better. it seems like they have people there that actually can do nails but if they’re busy they’ll put you with whoever. wasn’t expecting the design to be identical but definitely not what i wanted, my nails are still bumpy and uneven, the white doesn’t even go all the way to the edge of my nail on some fingers, there’s still glitter around my finger, acrylic still under nail, etc.

I would not recommend coming here at all. I had Filia do my nails (dip) and not only did it take 2 and a half hours but I have never had someone do my nails like this. She only used a buffer to smooth out and shape my nails and nothing else. This is after a week and now I have fungus under my thumb nail which was not there when I got them done initially and they have all either fallen off and completely torn my natural nails off or lifted. Ive never had an experience like this getting my nails done. She clearly had no idea what she was doing.(I edited this review with her name. I paid Via Venmo for a tip so I verified) Her name was Filia and looking at others reviews, Fungus is not an uncommon thing here. This place is very unsanitary!

I would highly recommend this place. Danny took care of my hands and feet and made it a great first trip here. This is the first time ive ever been to a salon that did not cut me or cause my nail damage in someway

Danny did an amazing job with my nails today. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he did exactly what I asked! I could not be happier. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive. If you’re in the area come here !!!!!

The owner Mary is super nice and made sure our champagne glass was always full! The most fun experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. They made us laugh and smile the whole time! Great quality and super nice! If you haven’t gone here, go ASAP!

2.5 stars, rounded up to 3. I won’t be back. From most of my nails not being painted to the edges to the point that I ended up taking off the top coat and redoing it myself, to crooked nails that I ended up evening out myself, I expected more from this place.

I made an appointment today over the phone and I was very pleased when I walked into the place for the first time. Jenny did an excellent job with my manicure and pedicure, I definitely recommend this salon.

First time trying this place and felt so welcomed the moment I walked in. Front desk was super nice. Theres hand sanitizer and a masks available the moment you walk in. They took the time to listen to what I wanted. My hair stylist was Quincy and gave me his ideas before doing anything to my hair. I was so happy with my experience and kind of disappointed I didnt start coming here sooner.

Tipsy gets ALL the rounds of applause! I went to 5 different salons all over Ft. Laud, and they were either completely shut down, or just booked solid (on a Tuesday evening at that). I went to get full high lights, cut, blow dry from a hair stylist named Tiffini. My end result was exactly what I wanted. She has the skill and knowledge to provide the ultimate service. Definitely recommend. My hair is blonde and beautiful!

Maia did my mani pedi and she did a great job. She tried to do the best job possible as efficiently as possible.

I got a gel mani/pedi and the service was not good. Very unwelcoming staff, the tables and nail tools were very dirty, they tried to overcharge me & didn’t want me to use the first timer coupon, and my toes and finger nails are already chipped after 1 day. She also did a HORRIBLE job on my nails, painted over the cuticles and had nail polish on my fingertips. I do not recommend going.

My niece (in pic), my sister and I got our nails done, gel and dip, as well as spa pedicures today. Booked it all online and arrived to prompt assistant and starting our spa time! ALL of the staff was sweet, helpful and it was an overall relaxing and elevated experience! They did a great job on everything, the overall look and feel of the space is lovely and they were very attentive to detail and any needs. Super personable, reasonable prices and an all encompassing salon for hair and nails! Will most definitely be returning ! (And Im very picky in this arena)

Terrible! Don’t do it! I get my lashes done often at another place but they were booked so I gave tipsy a shot. Hoping for the best! It was the worst. It was chunks of lashes that had been cut up and glued above my eyelash. I almost stopped her mid way bc it didn’t feel right but the whole appointment took her about 30 minutes anyway. Because it was so incredibly poorly done. They were falling off as I was leaving and driving home. It was like a bad joke. I’m in a crunch bc i go on holiday in 1 day and needed this done, I quickly made an emergency appointment at amazing lashes and was able to get in. Don’t waste your time at tipsy for the eyelashes, I can’t stress how terrible it was and how disappointed I am. Thankfully they have all almost come off after only 5 hours anyway.On another note, they do great pedicures and nails! Just whatever you do, don’t do the eyelash extensions!!!

Yikes - I’ve had probably 150 pedicures and many more manicures. And this was the first time that I have ended up with an infection from a nick when the technician was clipping my cuticles. It’s been two days and it’s still getting worse. Do yourself a favor and find a cleaner place.

Pedicures are parted out with a separate person doing massage portion. Masks are still required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.

About 3 months ago I wrote a not so good review about this place. HOWEVER, I decided to go back and give them another try, after I heard that they had hired all new staff. I asked for Danny. My experience this time was REALLY great!! I will go back to him again! Im glad I gave them another chance, because, I love the powder dip color, bubblebath but Danny suggested his combinationlightpink and I LOVE it! Thank me later!!I am so glad I went back and I had a great experience with Tipsy this time around!

I have never had a worse nail experience. I asked for a French gel manicure (super basic) and the lady made the French so wonky that I ended up just having her do a clear coat and leaving. On top of that, she made my nails SO thin, literally paper thin. I verbalized several times that she was inflicting pain and she continued to say she was removing my previous gel when in fact she was removing a layer of my nail. I never write bad reviews but it would but the experience was just that terrible.

Filia did an amazing job with my manicure and pedicure. She gifted and very creative. I love her style and its always a pleasure to visit. Ill be back!

Terrible - booked online and got there and nobody was free. The manager acted like he was doing us a favor by fitting us in.The lady who did my eyebrows was so incredibly rude. Not a happy place to spend your time let alone your money.

Sweet people but i went there for a regular mani and the lady cut my cuticle and it was bleeding. the worker put on some green stuff that did absolutely nothing. i had blood on my finger nails and it stung. she said it happened because my nails are sensitive which is no excuse . Do not go here it is also very unsanitary!

Receptionist (straight strawberry blonde medium length hair) felt a little dismissive. Saw all these reviews about being offered drinks, but I had to ask. Figured maybe a combo of being in sweats and looking kind of young (about to turn 22) so Im not too bothered about not being offered. But when I did ask, my nail tech (shes great btw, and Ill touch on her below) asked her and she didnt acknowledge it and proceeded to tell her about something unrelated before going back to the counter and just when I thought she was looking for glasses she was fixing her face in the mirror behind the glass rack... so after a few more minutes I asked my nail tech if maybe she forgot and so she asked her again and got a short ya response... FYI, I had my ID out and everything so it wasnt a question of age issue, cause even when handed the drink I felt a bit of a turned up nose vibe... I mean idk, I work in food service, so I can completely understand absent-mindedness with end of day or anything else going on, but I definitely felt a bit of youre young and dressed down dismissiveness from her... ..BUT my nail tech herself saved this whole experience! Malla (pronounced Maya/Maia, the double L sounds as a y cause its spanish) was polite, sweet, professional and did a beautiful beautiful job! Prices are reasonable for the area, and I honestly thought drinks would be a lot more expensive considering, so I was pleasantly surprised. Overall clean place and great results, so if the receptionist can give the same service to clientele from all walks of life I can give that 5th star! Thanks!

Really disappointed. The pictures attached show how my nails looked. I felt like the lady that did my nails was in rush and i complained to her that she cut off too much of my nails, she re-did couple of the nails but the end results were still terrible. I would never go back to this salon and would no recommend the older lady that did my nails to anyone. The salon staff is really friendly but the quality of work is horrible.

Overpriced for no reason. Worst pedicure of my life. No talking about the file in my finger nails. I had to correct them myself. She was gonna start applying the gel polish with still previous gel non properly removed (by her). Very disappointed and frustrated. Pretty place and awesome location for nothing. Dont waste your time and money. There are plenty of other places with much better service quality.

Went for new set acrylic set, it’s was done poorly. My nails were thick like if you have three layers on top of my nails, gel color smudged. Amazing place... Incredibly clean and spacious. The vibe in there is super chill and friendly with the music and massage chairs. You may be able to find something more economical, but its definitely worth the price to come here. The nail techs are great (I have OCD lol so my nails need to look a certain way) and the manager Mark makes you feel right at home. P.S. Make sure to try a couple of their lychee mimosa!

It was one of the best manicures and pedicures I have ever gotten. The ambiance is wonderful. Nice wine selection which accompanies a great play list. Wonderful staff. And the manager is fabulous! Will be back when Im in town again.

Dirtiest salon I’ve ever been to. Very dark. Couldn’t see the colors they were trying to show. Overcharging for no reason...really taking advantage of the Covid situation. Didn’t even have white tips. Did not know how to do what I was asking for. Was trying to do 2004 work for 2022 money...and yes it is still 2020. Very disappointing.

I wouldnt go back or reccomend if your looking to relax.Gel mani, regular pedi, 2 mimosas=$88Pros: They have a ton of colors, located in the middle of Las Olas and they were nice.Cons: The pedi chair was uncomfortable and sounded like a lawn mower, water was cold even after I asked for it to be warmer, gel mani came out uneven and spots left unpainted after I asked for it to be fixed and overpriced. Had an appointment with a friend and she sat there for 30 minutes before they helped her. Water was cold by the time they got to her. Lastly, the sound system is crazy. One second low music then it plays super loud.

My hair is smooth and silky and in its best condition ever by far! My hair was burnt, and had literally fallen in chunks when I found Faye, LOVE this girl and Love this place! This place is like no other salon in Fort Lauderdale. The staff was friendly from on the phone when I booked the appointment until the moment I left. The salon was spotless and the ambiance made my time there so relaxing. I haven’t had a pedicure in two months because of the pandemic, after Michael was done it was like my feet were brand new. Mark is so pleasant, helpful and informative about preventive measures in regards to Covid 19 and he also gave me some tips about relaxing and posture for my daily life. Mary is just a darling. I can’t wait to go back, I’m actually considering having lash extensions for the first time just because I believe in skills of the staff at Tipsy Fort Lauderdale.

Tipsy is the best salon for all of your personal needs. Everyone there makes you feel like you are part of the Tipsy family. They take care of me and my husband. They do the best pedicures in town. Quincy is fabulous with hair for color and cuts. Lily is wonderful for nails. Ben, Ly and Carmen are the best for pedicures and manicures. Was price gouged at check out. Prices online say $75 for Tipsy pedicure (my boyfriend got) online it says this service included the parafin wax. My gel manicure is $35 and regular spa pedicure is $32.My total came to $178 with no receipt and not break down of prices when I asked.( I called the next day to check prices and these were the prices she quoted over the phone)I then explained to her that I was charged $178 but the prices online and what she just quoted me on the phone should only be $142.She then said oh, his service was actually $95 because they did the parafin. I said no, your website says it’s $75 and INCLUDES the parafin service. We will never told the prices were higher then advertised during the appointment.Also she charges an extra $5 a person because of covid. She said they had to do this because “covid made product prices go up”I told her I’d like her to email me an Itemized receipt emailed to me and she said she will tomorrow when she gets into the salon.Even with this non-advertised, seemingly randomly increased prices. $95+$32+$35+$10 post covid fee for 2 guests= $172. Not the $178 charged. And still $32 more then I expected to pay based on their advertised pricing online and in store.I told her had they explained these absurd fees I would have gone somewhere else.Our services were not near as good as other salons we have tried. I didn’t get a hand massage and my boyfriends “$95” pedicure was the worst he’s ever had. A pedicure at the ritz spa is not even that expensive.Businesses trying to price gouge during these times will not make it. Especially if you are trying to Robb people at check out.

Levi, Master Stylist is Amazing. I am Very Fussy about my hair. Levi soent a lot of time with me before doung Anything. My cut is perfect and choosing a new color experimental. Prices given over phone and online and in person are not accurate and sketchy. After service is rendered, the price increases. I was quoted $70 but after service was provided I was charged $100.

I had an awesome experience at Tipsy SalonBar in Fort Lauderdale! The employees were great and very professional! The salon was clean and well-maintained. I love how it looks like a Bar/club! My nail technician was very nice and attentive to my needs. He completed both my manicure and pedicure....and my nails and toes looked great! The owner spoke to the customers to make sure everyone was satisfied. I had a great conversation with the owner about their establishment. Also, we cant forget the free wine!! 💇🏼Elliot is my favorite hair stylist. I feel safe and at home getting my hair cut by him. He is so friendly and caring; yet so professional. He is really good at what he does so sometimes I let him do whatever he feels is best on my hair. I always recommend my friends see him. Got a dip manicure and regular pedi, way more expensive than other places without anything to show for it. At first the nails looked nice especially the dip mani, the pedi just ok. After 10 days most dip fingernails chipped or broke ( supposed to last 3 weeks didn’t even last 2). Very disappointing will not go back.

I decided to try a different nail salon and it was an awesome experience! I loved the bar setup and the staff is very friendly. Ayesha did my gel manicure and I have gotten a ton of compliments. She took her time and was extremely patient with me when I was choosing a color and design. It is very hard for me to find a nail technician to do my nails to my liking but I will definitely be returning to this salon for Ayesha to do my nails again.
