Absolutely love this place! The girls who work here are super friendly and knowledgeable. They’re extremely good at ALL services they offer, are honest about what they can/can’t do, and customize the service to the clients’ requests. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place…definitely come here if you are considering it!!!

This was my first time at Selis Beauty Salon, they gave me a royal treatment and the staff is friendly, when they were going to do my eyebrows, they checked my eyebrows and they told me how to keep them healthy and thick. I also got my eyebrows tinted and they did a excellent job, I am going to get full body wax next week, I just made an appointment for it. I highly recommend them, their service is 10/10!

Both the women who service me, are very friendly, professional, thorough and kind. They always do an excellent job and their salon is always clean. They practice safe social distancing and manage to do exactly what you ask for. I found my new brow place. I’ve been coming here about 8months for brow threading and tint. At least 6 of my family members come for the same service, we all have different brows and they do a GREAT job each time! Going to get a cut next time and give a review on that

She was rude and yelling at me. When I first came to the store she was frustrated for no reason. I was her first time customer and she yelled at me. Worse salon everyone. When I first came i started coughing because of the dust. Very dusty and things are not clean at all

This place has a ring of LED lights around each window, with additional LED signs in the windows, plus a backlit sign over the front door. the amount of light pollution they are creating is extremely ignorant, particularly considering they are by a residential area and that it probably doesnt help their business at all. The handwritten signs in the window look like garbage, which is not surprising considering the extremely tacky and rude lighting job. This place is a blight.

They also tint my eyebrows. They are very friendly, clean and sanitized

I used to go to a different place. I wont name it because Im not bashing her, but years I always ended up plucking at least 3 strand after I left...since I found selis... I leave so happy!!! Eyebrows are perfect! I get compliments all day long and feel so good!

This was my first time getting my lashes done! I got the full set! (Something dramatic for my birthday!) She explained they were temporary & proper care to assure they last the longest they could.. Her energy was good, calm & positive! Definitely made me feel relaxed for my 15-20 min job. I will definitely be going back for other things, soon! I see theyre known for theyre brows! Definitely want to go back for waxing as well! Will make an appointment soon, based on the ladies energy & how great of a job she did! I will definitely be returning soon!!

I had a great experience for eyebrow and facial waxing services. This is my go-to place from now on. Affordable, and my eyebrows look great and she is consistent and takes her time. Wax was less painful (50% less pain) than most other salons I have been to. Parking available and lately never a wait time. I hope you all go and give her lots of business so I can wait : ) I cant wait to try eyebrow tinting or a facial next. Very cozy place and great energy!

My favorite new local salon! Pretty and clean environment! This is the only place I come to for henna! They do henna, eyebrows, eyelashes, And all waxesFriendly and professional staff, design booklets available in salon if you’re not sure what to get! Highly recommend!

Went in for eyebrow threading and the lady was on the phone the whole time messed up my eyebrows so bad left them crooked and just told me to fill them in. Avoid this place!!!!

I’ve never experienced henna artwork until I stepped foot in Selis!!! They did a beautiful job and also gave me a bit of history behind the actual meaning of henna!!! There’s no other place I will go for this service amongst so many others that they offer..the staff is very welcoming and professional not to mention very clean and upscale!!!

I went in for eye brow, arm pit and Brazilian wax. The lady was very nice, polite and clean. She explained what she was doing and answered all my questions patiently. Their prices are the best I have see in the area. I highly recommend.

I messed up my eyebrows using tweezer. So I came in get it fix with a possible tint, and they ended up fixing it beautifully with no tint needed. Shah is amazing and I will be a repeat customer!!!

My Mom and I went to Selis to get our eyebrows done and they were done so beautifully!!! You have to come here to get your eyebrows done!!! Coming from Skokie we were so tired of going all the way to Devon to get our eyebrows done; parking is so hard to find and to be honest its hard to find someone to do your eyebrows nicely. For $7 my Mom and I get our eyebrows done so nicely: nice full shape and arch, what else do you need?! I also read the reviews before coming to Seliss Salon and one of the reviews was correct when they stated that they treat you like family; the two owners are very sweet. Trust me you wont regret giving these ladies a shot. Say goodbye to thinly threaded eyebrows that you didnt ask for that take forever to grow back (its the worst). Plus theyre not heavy handed so you dont walk away with cuts around your brows or your eyebrow area wont be swollen like some other places Ive been to. Happy threading ☺!

Top of the line service. I went to get my eyebrows cleaned up, and instead threading them too thin and trying too hard to make them look official like my previous salon, they threaded along the line that it grows and made my eyebrows look spectacular. I got my eyelashes done not even a week ago And it started coming off, so I went over there and ask the lady to fix it for me they asked me for an extra $10 after paying $25, Usually I get it done at Walmart for only $19 and it last me a month because I don’t wash my face I use wipes!!! Very upset!

This place is amazing and the people who work there are so kind. They make you feel like youre their friend and I saw a review saying that they are creating light pollution with their leds but those lighting and the posters on the windows were the reason I found this place in the first place. Theyre also on the main Street so Im not sure how it is creating any light pollution as every residential buildings are in the alleys behind the store and there are also many other stores on the street which has lightings so Im not sure what was the reason for targeting Selis Beauty Salon specifically. But other than that this place is amazing to get your eyebrows waxed as theyre very good with the services they offer. If you do go there then ask for either shah or seli. Those two ladies are amazing.
