While the staff are friendly, the quality of service is not. This is possibly the most disappointing dip nails I’ve ever had. Uneven dip so each nail looks uneven and bumpy, nails weren’t filed at the tip, complete mess. Nail tech suggested it’s because I have short nails. I’ve done dip for years at various places and have never had this issue. I would not recommend coming here. All this photos are taken right as I walked out of the salon!
They literally did the worst nails ever! Had to go back for a full fix which was better but definitely not the best. They tend to not come to the front to greet customers. Quick to say they are busy before knowing what a customer needs. I sat in the waiting room and watched so much business turn around and walk out the door simply because of their lack of professionalism and greeting and making people feel like it’s OK to come back soon to get what they needed. I also watched them look over a customer they had been told to come back at a certain time and had been waiting and they basically took someone over her and made her wait longer. They are also overpriced so in short if there is no other option then pop by there m good luck … but if I was you try to book elsewhere
Poorest quality of nails I have ever received I went and had a full set done the technician had clam hands and could barley do my nails at the end she had liquid acrylic all over my hands and herself, I had my toes done and they all look lopsided. No one in this store speaks English had to remind the technician how to do her job like putting the toe dividers on when putting polish on placing shoes on my feet so I can go to the next room. I was so displeased I refused to have her place polish on my fingers because they had already done a poor job on everything else. Please stay away from this place they are all nice and sweet when you book a reservation but after reading multiple reviews below they are ok to let the customers walk away displeased.
Walked in and was put in a seat immediately! Nancy did an amazing job on my gel manicure and my moms pedicure was also done very nicely :)
Great service. Catered to our 6 ladies at one time.
They had to call a junk hauler to get rid of my cuticle debris and they didnt even flinch.
My pedicure is REALLY good….. the tech’s attitude was not the best. 🤷🏾♀️
I was skeptical given reviews, but had fantastic service, great care, and will be back. I got a basic mani/pedi & brought my own polish, and even though I arrived after 7 (they don’t normally seat new customers an hour before posted close time), since I called ~7:20 & rushed over, they squeezed me in. Two ladies (one is my name-cousin Shayilah) did my mani & pedi simultaneously, and even though they stayed late, they still made sure to give me focused & detailed attention. And a third guy up front stayed longer just to let me dry my nails for a “little extra longer”. I have been to a few different nail places downtown Seattle, and when combining their price, service, quality, and accommodation for my late arrival, they are at the top.Note: re-reading bad reviews, speculating their acrylic/gel nails &/or in-house polish (neither of which I had) might be the root cause for the lower reviews. But if you’re ok being a basic b like me & have your own polish, I strongly reccomend.
Terrible place! We were group of 5 who wanted to get our mani and pedi. The quality of product they used for normal pedi was so bad and that it would just not dry, we had to redo it twice. The worst part was that the gel manicure started peeling out the very next day! Dont waste your money by going here for gel manicure
Nancy does my pedicures and I’m super picky. I will not go anywhere else 🤗 Thank you Nancy 💕
Hands down the poorest dip job Ive ever had.
I think her name was shayla or shayna but she gave me a fill and a couple days after two nails broke Im really mad I wasted my money and I have to pay to fix it. Never coming here again.
Very calm and peaceful they do great work
I have been a regular at Myano for several years. Nails and eyelash extensions. Great spa!
Reasonably priced and wonderful employees.
I will never be spending my money or recommend anyone to come to this nail salon. I walked in hoping to see if a specific nail tech was available or otherwise make an appointment for the following day. Luckily I was told his 5 pm appointment cancelled and I was asked if I wanted to take the time slot. Naturally I said yes and told the receptionist I needed a full set. I left to run some errands and then came back at 4:45. I sat and waited until 5:40 before said specific nail tech was done. While I was waiting I asked the receptionist if he was close to being done or if I should come back. He told me he was finishing up and I was next. When I sat in the chair and showed him my nails that were clearly in dire need of a full set he proceeded to tell me that he had an appointment at 6 and was unable to do a full set but he could fill them in. Once again... had there been full transparency I would have just scheduled an appointment for the following day rather than wasting my time sitting for almost an hour with nothing to show for it. I am extremely unsatisfied and will never be coming here again. If you value your time I suggest you frequent a different nail salon that respects and values your time. Because clearly Myano nails spa didn’t value mine.
I came for a pedicure and fill, kim did my pedicure. It was okay minus her coughing on my feet & getting mad when I asked her to put a mask on. She then continues my pedicure and mid file she uses the nail file to scratch her scalp and proceeded to file my toes with that same file and of course got mad when I asked her to change it. She later got rough while doing my nails so I politely requested someone else to finish the job, this lady grabs my foot and says no I can do it. That was the last straw, her manager had to tell her to let go and that she would finish it. My first experience was great. But this was enough for me to never come back again.
Nice and quiet
If I could give this negative star I would. They destroyed my nails and then expected me to pay. When I explained what happened they continued to say they could fix it. How can you fix natural nails that you destroyed with filing, and over clipping of my skin so I will for sure now have hangnails. I went in with chipped nail polish and come out with polish that a 10 year old could have done better and my nails a wreck. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Andy does the most amazing job on my nails. They last and look professional and natural
Ive been to this place on a whim twice now, and I love it that I dont need to book in advance. There is a great choice of colors and polish type for your mani/pedi, and even though there is a language barrier with the staff, they are very friendly and customer obsessed. The end result is great too. So why only 4 stars? Because its super expensive. $75 for a gel mani/pedi is a bit much.
I absolutely love this salon. I started going here for eyelashes after I saw how beautiful my girlfriends lashes looked and I couldn’t be happier. Dennis is gifted! I’ve been to 6 different lash boutiques and non of them compare to his work. He has incredible attention to detail and it shows. Highly recommend.
Got the most beautiful ombre acrylic set done here. Definitely coming back!
Super friendly staff. My girlfriend and l go here every couple of weeks
Dont recommend!!!I got the dip powder on my natural nail and it started lifting from the nail within 2 weeks and chipping (usually last the entire month, other places). The dip was very thick around the edges and uneven. My daughter got a gel polish on her nails and they lifted and completely peeled off within 2 weeks as well.
I used to come regularly but my nieces and I were always rushed out when getting manicure/ pedicures. Not to mention, when I came back alone, I was charged extra money for top coat on my acrylics. The woman helping me took advantage. I will never go back.
The place was nice and calming. The technician Hannah did an amazing job on my pedicure. I was very pleased! I will be going back.
I waited over half an hour today for my nails to be done. I was told it would take half an hour for someone to be available. During this time two white women came in at different times, with no appointment- you could tell by the questions they asked- asking for the exact same service I requested. The owner/manager (?) showed them to the back. After the second person I asked how long it would take. He said 10 minutes. I walked out.Ignorant management. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!
Best salon downtown Seattle, hands down. They are quick, which is great when you have 60 minutes to get in, get out, and get back to work... but they do not rush through their work (and your nails dont look rushed either). I always come out feeling like ive been at a spa for several hours, and will continue to return.
Nice enough folks, but kind of slow. I had 2 people working on me, one on my hands the other on my feet. It took them over two hours to take off and reapply gel nail polish. They asked if I wanted anything to drink, I asked for hot tea, I didnt get my tea until I was completely done with my service. When I walked in I was told to choose my polish, which I did. The lady working on my toes had no problem with the color. The guy working on my hands said the color wont work well. The color worked just fine. The place appeared to be clean and sanitary, they were just a bit off and slow.
Visiting from Boston and my wife had a great manicure. Kim gave me a superb and restful pedicure
Pretty good. Cindy did a good job correcting the acrylic mess a different shop did. She was pleasant and efficient, price was good. My regular go-to is on maternity so Im still shopping for a replacement. Would come back, except I dont live or work downtown, was just for a drive by mani, not worth going out of my way.
Waited an hour to get serviced, when they said half an hour. The lady that did my nails barely cleaned my nails, some of my old nail polish was still there when she finished cleaning and painted over it. While she was waiting for my nail polish to dry before the top coat, she started filing her own toe nails right there and then, infront of me, AND USED THE SAME TOWEL SHE WAS USING WITH ME TO WIPE HER FOOT!!!First and last time i will come to this nail salon.
Wanted to schedule an appointment 2 weeks ago to make sure I would be taken. Counter assured me I didn’t need to and would be seen if I came in at 9. Made it seem like they would have enough staff to take walk ins at that time. Sure enough, I come in at 9, there’s one person there, and they can’t take me until 10, and of course I have appointments all day. The guy didn’t have answers for me and just said, I don’t know.” Yeah you know you don’t care about customer service since you have the volume and foot traffic being at a prime downtown location. Only thing going for you: sheer quantity, no quality based on all the other customer reviews. Guess I was spared. Gotta go find somewhere they take walk ins fast now.
Had to walk out of this place unfortunately. Showed up for an appointment, 20 minutes later still had barely been acknowledged. Finally flagged down the front desk guy and tried to ask a question about the products used, and he literally walked away from me mid-sentence. I waited a bit longer, still no one brought me in for my appointment, and when I told the front desk guy that I was leaving because no one was helping me and he’d walked away while I asked a basic question (about gel polish) he didn’t seem concerned. Obviously customer service isn’t their priority.
Less than good nail job. Asked for pink tips and the lines werent even ir clean looking. Looks amateur.
I dont understand the bad reviews below. Ive been going to Myano for my nails for about 7 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful- the comments from others about the staff being rude is ridiculous and some reviews border on racism- the staff is professional at Myano. When I book ahead with Helen, shes always on time and does an amazing job. My nail are always awesome. Ive never had an issue at Myano and my powder nails generally last 3 weeks before I need a fill. Nails for people who get them done regularly is very much like a hair salon. You have to find a person you like who understands your style. I recommend Helen, Shayla and Cindy if its your first time at Myano. Theyre all excellent.
I came in upon recommendation from my mom as well as another nail salon owner to have my previous acrylics removed and to get another full set done. First of all, I had an appointment at 2PM yesterday, came 10 minutes early, but didnt get helped until about 2:15. And while the staff was nice and accommodating otherwise, what really matters - my nails - ended up terrible. My nails are all different lengths, none of them are shaped well, I have extra acrylic all around some of my nails, a lot of them arent sealed properly - so I know Im going to be lifting in a week, if that. I have globs of acrylic and gel polish under some of my nails, and overall, Im just so unhappy with how they turned out. Customer service wise, would give everyone 5 stars. Actual nail service, Id give zero if I could.
Service was good, but my nails look like I painted them at home (I’m pretty bad at doing it). $34 for a manicure and gel polish where I have nail polish on my fingers, my nails aren’t filed nicely, aren’t fully painted and the color is not as on the chart. At all. No thanks.
I don’t often get my nails done anywhere except my local salon. However, I recently went on a business trip to Seattle, and as I hadn’t had time to get a manicure before I left and was overdue for one, and I had some free time on my first day in Seattle, I came here for a gel manicure. The salon looked very nice and appeared clean. However, while my manicure looked very good at first, it began to chip and crack within two days. I normally get a good two weeks from a gel manicure at my regular salon; my manicure usually grows out before it begins to chip. I did not recognize the brand of polish (my local salon uses OPI and IBD polishes), so it may have been due to poor quality product or bad nail prep. I would normally go back to the manicurist and ask for the job to be repaired, but I didn’t have time before I had to fly home so I immediately had to get another manicure upon my return home. I’m sure you can get a great manicure in Seattle; just not here.
I had a great experience here. Went in on Thursday at noon. Had black french tip gel nails. Tina was gentle, careful, and precise. The salon played instrumental Christmas music which was calming. I wanted to fall asleep in my chair.
Had a pedicure done by Kelly. She was simply amazing. She got out an ingrown nail that was very painful, convinced me to try a bright color on my toes for summer and gave me a great message. Got a full set and brow wax from Shayla and it was seemless. They are clearly the team to book. The environment was relaxing and clean. I will definitely be coming back!
Awful place, worst pedicure of my life. My toes looked better before I had them done here, how is that even possible?Worst paint job, there was barely any cleaning up done, and they call it the spa pedicure!I am actually embarrassed to wear sandals, will have the gel polish removed ASAP.The staff that works there don’t even understand what you’re asking them, and they constantly mumble in their language, very rude.Poor quality and poor customer service. Will stick to Nordstrom Spa, what did I even think coming here
My mother and I went in for a quick manicure while on a trip in Seattle. The service was nice, however we were charged twice on the card.
I went to Myano, for eyelash extensions. They are getting two stars because I have gotten them in the past and been very happy. This experience however was a disaster, and I wont be going back. The woman who did my application did a horrible job, and may have damaged my natural lashes because she rushed the job. She put too many extensions on each of my lashes, (three or four instead of one or two), she put the extensions too close to my eyelids, and she left strips of glue on my eyelids. All in all it was a mess, and I ended up with swelling and irritation on one eye. It was a mess. When I told the salon about it, they wanted me to come in so someone else could fix the lashes, even though I told them that my eye was irritated. The experience was disappointing all the way around.
I was having a terrible and stressful day, and decided I would go get my nails done to feel better. Andy was the one who did my nails, and he did such a wonderful job. He really earned all five stars. I wanted a French tip and the last time I went here it was a little sloppy but this time it was literally perfect. Andy did a fantastic job, and when I go back I will definitely request him. My day did a 180 turn, so thank you Myano and Andy :)
To be honest, reading the reviews I was hesitant to go here. But it was late after work and most of my go to places were either booked or closing. They got me in right away and did a fantastic job! Hanah did my toes and she was super sweet and efficient. The gentleman that helped me (I mistakenly forgot to ask his name) was amazing. After hearing my complaints about past shellac experiences, he took his time and made sure I was happy with the results. Will definitely go back there!
We went there for a pre wedding pampering and was a great experience. Staffs were attentive.
I have been using them for a year and they do it ALL waxing ..plucking...clean toes ..put on eyelashes that last for a few weeks..and they make eyebrows...i get my nails painted in colo changing polish...i see andy hes awesome good atmosphere super clean
I’ve been going to Myano for about a year. I don’t understand some of these reviews...I’m always a walk-in for a mani-pedi. Service is quick and friendly. They offer some of the cheapest, good quality nail care around. They give you a choice of different hot teas, included with their nail services. It’s a little oasis in the middle of 3rd avenue but affordable and good quality for the price.
Seemed quite upscale to me! Loved it! Very nice and professional.
Do not get your eyebrows waxed here!!!! Whoever did my eyebrows practically took them all off she did not listen to me at all. I have barely full brows and needed a quick clean up and she left me with thin uneven brows
I had a horrible time here. They rushed my pedicure and forced me into getting a horrible overlay instead of the full set I wanted. The acrylic was uneven and chunky and they didnt file my nails to the right size. They left chunks of acrylic underneath my nails and barely filed them. The paint was also uneven and transparent. I immediately went to Walgreens and bought non-acetone nail polish remover to take it off. I had to refile and paint them myself. The acrylic also chipped off and lifted in less than a week. I rushed home and forgot to take pictures so I apologize for that. I will attach photos of my nails after going to Polish Boutique in Capitol Hill a few weeks after. I recommend just going there instead if you want a good experience.
Andy does great work! However, I had to edit the review and reduce the number of stars. Simply due to the fact that Ive come to learn this Salon uses CHEAP materials... Each time I have done the Nail service here, they break off in less than 7 days. To make matters worse, the owner refuses to honor any policy around time and life of Nail service lasting for at least 7 days, without crumbling, like my Salon in Florida and other salons do. Instead, he insists on charging for their poor quality products... I know good quality, as the product will uphold its qualities beyond a few day. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with how this place treats a customer of 8 months service.**THIS IS WHAT MAKES YOU DECIDE TO NOT CONTINUE TO PATRONIZE- ULTIMATELY DISCONTINUING YOUR BUSINESS**TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!!
Nice selection of colors and chair massage, however I paid U$ 85 + tip for a very poor service! Arrived from there right now and just needed to remove everything! It took 3 hours for a pedicure and manicure (VIP service). They left a “whole” on the cuticule (all peeling) and the nails, filed my nail bent and the guy who did the manicure added so much nail polish that it was impossible for the nails to dry. They did not use gloves, and removed nail polish around my cuticules with their own nails. The VIP service for manicure massage includes only the and half arm area, not upper arm or shoulders. Horrible!
Love my nails.... thank you Andy for a great job
Took my daughter to get her nails done last week - not happy at all because I wasted my money. Half the nails fell off in 2 days! The staff seemed nice, but the quality is not there.
My nails have never looked so bad. I tired to post a picture but the website will not allow me. Its so dark inside the shop by the look of my nails they couldnt see what they were doing. I got the done yesterday and they look like they already grew out she didnt paint my entire nail. Sooo bad
Great service
Wasn’t able to be seen for a polish change, literally a service that takes like max 15 minutes. They told be there would be be a 10 minute wait. I waited 50 minutes then ended up leaving. They need to be more upfront about how long the wait is. Waste of time/money.
I found this place a few years ago and it was great, clean, friendly and super convenient to walk in. Ever since it has gotten a bit worse every time I went to the point that yesterday I got completely grossed out and pissed off. The place is filthy yet there are tons of people sitting around. Every surface is covered in a heavy thick dust, the service was non existent and the product I received was marginal. Im done.
They are very clean, nice, and work together to get you done fast. Really enjoyed my time there...and my nails look great!
They got me in right away which is wonderful, but I happened to get two ladies that were rude to start. My pedicure was great actually. Manicure started chipping not even 24hours later. By day 3 chunks of polish fell off. Total bummer.
I went in to get a full set and I had the worst experience. The lighting in the room is dark so you cant really see what your nails look like until you go outside. The lady shaped my nails unevenly, some looked unproportioned. When I asked her to fix them she was very triggered. The lady added so many layers of polish, my nails look so sloppy. This is my second time going to get my nails done and I was unsatisfied both times. She charged me $58 and I am very unsatisfied with my nails. I have to go to a different nail spa and get them readjusted. This is not worth your money!! I also got my lashes done here and the lashes started falling off the first night.
No waiting line
Wandered in not knowing if they did eyebrows and was pleasantly surprised to see they did . The fragrance was lovely and the place was beautiful . I walked upstairs to my own room and laid down on the nice comfortable table with a pillow and she did an amazing job on my eyebrows ! Afterwards she offered me water and also gave me a free gift which was some nice mango lotion . I highly recommend this place .
Worst place to go and get anything done period. When it comes to spa treatment or getting your nails done, the staff are rude the ones I interact with to be exact. The short midget look one is very rude I asked a question as to why theyre so expensive he said well maybe you should go to were they are not cheap, theres a lady who doesnt understand a word of English and has to call someone all the time. Worst experience ever!!! People please dont go to this Salon
I had to stop to get my Nails done And was the horrible experience in my life ! Do not go here they were being racist with me a guy made pay first what they dont usually do just because Im Hispanic, then while I was getting my nails done the guy was hitting my hands and making fun of me because he though I didnt speak English. My nails look like they need a fill up what a ugly job 👎🏽👎🏽
I only left 1 star because I couldnt leave zero. Terrible customer service. I was on a time crunches I opted for just a polish change. It was very apparent that the gel didnt like that. My nails look terrible. I brought it up a couple times asking the lady to fix it before she added another layer. She called over a guy who blamed the terrible job on my cuticles!! Because I didnt get a full manicure. He said they werent able to paint my nails all the way to the cuticle! But only in one side... one side looked fine, not great but fine. Apparently they can only paint all the way to the cuticle on only one side. They refused to discount it at all and just kept explaining why it was the fault of my fingers and the nail polish and none of their own. I will never go back again!
I’m surprised with everyone’s comments about there being racist people there. I had Cindy do my nails and she was amazing and did a great job. I recommend her.
WONDERFUL! Easy to get in BUT if you have a favorite 💅 best to schedule appt.
This place was awful! My appointment was at 3:45 I was finally taken back at 4:08, Helen complained and was up and down many times.....Definitely will not be returning my nails were to be filed coffin shape and are square and to top it off she tried to keep my polish... NIGHTMARE!!!
This place is unbelievable. I paid for a “VIP pedicure”. Waited for 45 minutes for the polish to dry except that it melted due to heater they put my feet under instead of cold air setting. They tried to fix it, didn’t work. They restated again but I didn’t have time to wait for 45 minutes for another dry. I asked for shelac instead because I had plans and needed to leave. They said that I needed to pay extra $15 even thought it was their mistake. Never had this happen in any other nail salon. Nail polish melting on my feet!!! Will never go back to this place. Terrible quality and service.
Got gel dip powder first then a gel French manicure later, very patient and kind.
Traveling for work found myself in need of a manicure in Seattle. Went to Myano. The salon is really dark feels a bit sketchy. First set of tools were not clean. Switched out with set that was appeared brand new. Glad I looked! My nails were a mess. Yet the tech managed to cut one cuticle and made it bleed. the skill level really lacks.Take an uber and go somewhere else
I had the worst nail job done here. Dont recommend it. The workers are rude. You will pay for a mediocre service. I am very unsatisfied with my nails. Now I have to deal with that and they get my hard earned money. This is not fair!!
Perfect place for small group of friends to do Mani pedi day. Reasonable price and great service.
I was able to walk-in and get a Manni and Pedi right away (11am Thurs.) Two ladies worked on me simultaneously, and they did a very nice job.I followed immediately with a 90 minute massage, the room was quite with good ambiance, but the quality of the massage was only mediocre. It was more like a glorified oil rub than an actual massage. I guess thats why they were 30% cheaper, but I was able to walk in on my schedule and that counts for a lot.If you need a real deep tissue massage, I would find a licensed therapist.
THE WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN IN MY LIFE.the edges of the white lines for my french manicure were SO crooked its unbelievable. I will definitely be going back tomorrow to either get it fixed or get a refund. Not worth a single penny, this is the second time they have done a horrible job, and I will NOT be coming back. Such bad service for the rip off prices.
Absolutely terrible experience!!! The dip powder lasted less than 3 days before chipping AND lifting. Dip powder will normally last me 1.5 weeks at the worst nail salons I’ve ever been to. $52 down the drain...I do not recommend.
I just walked in to get my acrylics taken off. Not only was she quick, but she did it in a way that was least damaging to my nails. I would recommend!
Beautiful salon with amazing selection of nail polishes. Staff was friendly.
They open early so I can go before work! Perfect!
Is expensive than the average but the service was great. The lady that helped me was very professional and patient. The best thing is that they accepted me on a Sunday, like 50 min before they close. They save me that day.
I walked in, they said a 10 min wait and I waited about 20 but so worth it! Gel was around $38 with tip, and stayed on for 3+ weeks no chips
They treat you like royalty
My sister and i went here while i was staying downtown on business. Absolutely LOVED our pedicures! We got the parapyn wax and 10 min message! Felt great!
