I’ve been going to City Nail for over 10 years. If you want your nails done very well with the highest level of detail and attention, then this is your place. Linda, the owner, is no nonsense and has a unique sense of humor, but that’s what I love about her. Linda and her staff don’t cut corners, even if people are waiting to get in. Linda has very high standards for every single service and the cleanliness of the salon. The pedicures include a several minute foot and leg massage, hot paraffin wax (for ultimate soft feet), and a hot towel. Ann is my favorite nail technician, but honestly they’re all fantastic. I’d suggest calling ahead and making an appointment if want want a guaranteed time.

I’ve never been the type to have a ‘regular’ place to go, but The team at City Nails make me feel like I’m at home. They’re so nice, and so skilled at what they do. I’m happy every time I walk in the door. Highly recommend. Great value too!!

Proprietor could use some lessons in being polite or how to be more tactful. The work performed was ok to decent. Also, ignore the 20% off sign in the window. I asked 2x when paying if she was going to take 20% off, she said yes, and when quoted $80, ran my card for $90. Will not go back.

My friend and I went to place last night and we had really great service. The place was super clean and they went above and beyond to stay within the COVID restrictions. Shout out to Linda. Both ladies who tagged teamed my Mani-Pedi were thorough and professional. I was extremely satisfied with my service and will be going back for sure.

Squeezed me in last minute but I worried that I delayed existing appointment holders. The flowers on the big toe nails are top notch.

This is one of the only salon’s we’ve found in the S Seattle area that offers a kids chair. This was our 2nd visit today, and just as the first, we received exceptionally attentive service. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and prepared/excited for their underage clientele. Snacks, patience, and all the colors imaginable = kid approved pedicure! We’ll definitely continue making the drive here.

I walked in because I needed a soak off my gel and I was pleasantly surprised to see Linda and some familiar techs from when they were located on California. Although I did not get a gel mani this time I am satisfied with my mani pedi! They do hand and foot massage with services whereas most salons dont at all. It is extremely clean and such a great location. I took pictures of unique details of this salon. Ill update and hope to give 5 stars after getting a gel mani in a couple weeks.

I have loved my experience at City Nail Salon. As soon as I walked in they had me wash my hands immediately and sanitize afterwards. The clean the door handles and sanitize everything to make it safe. I feel safe. And Cindy does a great job!! I will keep coming back here!

This used to be my go to nail salon but I only would like one lady to do my nails. I made an appointment and I came in and my nail lady wasn’t there and Linda told me to come back tomorrow if I wanted my nails done by my lady. I paid for them ahead of time and I came back the next day and my lady wasn’t there again. So Linda said to try a different lady cause she is just as good. I was very disappointed how my nails turned out but since I already paid, I dealt with them. I come in next time and Linda tells me my nail lady doesn’t work there anymore and asks if I wanted a different lady to do them and I said no. Linda says “remember last time, she did a good job.” I said no I didn’t like them last time and left. I am really sad that my nail lady doesn’t work there anymore because I loved my nails when she did them and it was about 2 blocks from my apartment.

Cindy did an amazing job on my pedicure and gel manicure. She even added a beautiful freehand nail design on my ring fingers!

This is my go to Nail Salon now!! The quality of work is truly INCREDIBLE. Jenny is the ABSOLUTE BEST. She really takes the time to make sure its perfect. I came in with a design in mind and she executed it better than I imagined🥰🥰 Would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I love this place. They do a great job and care about their clientele. The rates are reasonable and parking is convenient and easy. It has always been extremely clean, even before the pandemic. This is the only place I go for my acrylic nails and pedicures.

The owner is a fun-spirited woman with a passion for her business and her craft. I liked the time she took with my pedicure, making certain that I was happy.

Decided to try this salon out as my regular one was to busy, I went in for a removal and full set. I had a good experience with the nail tech she did a good job listening to my requests about the shape. As the nail tech was almost done with shaping my nail the owner asks me if I would do gel so it will be quicker for me (and her) as they was almost closing. She offered me a discount and I said sure, when I went to pay I ask how much a she said something along the lines of “How much you want to pay me, $80” confused I handed her $40, she handed me back $3 as my “discount” and “didn’t charge me for removal”. According to their website it would have been around $38 so thanks so much for the $1 discount.

I am from New York City and I find City Nails is far superior to any salon in New York.It is airy and spacious and very comfortable and clean. It also has the largest selection of nail polish - no other salon compares. Linda, the owner buys only high end products, the finest. Annie who services me is a very dedicated and wonderful manicurist. I would highly recommend this Salon to anyone who is looking for good service and a relaxing atmosphere. Love Love it!!!!!!!

I love this place, super 80s decor and amazing massage chairs. The owner seems a little scary, but its just her manner. Shes actually incredibly nice, she just has a dry, no- nonsense manner. I brought my 5 year old in for a pedicure and all of them, especially the owner, doted on her. It was super cute.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Linda, the owner, is the best. Her team always does such a great job especially on my man feet. FYI theyve changed locations and is hard to see from the street. Very clean, comfortable, and friendly. Highly recommended!

I have tried over ten salons in West Seattle and Linda’s is the best for pedicures!!! My pedi last so long I have to only get it redone when my nails get too long. She takes extra time to do it right. I will never have them done anywhere else!!!!

I wish I could put in to words how amazing I feel looking in the mirror and seeing my lashes. City Nails Salon is place where have a real artists! I cant even begin to explain how amazing they are. I have been getting my lashes done with ther since summer 2013. I will never, ever stop! This is my biggest beauty secret. I can leave the house without even looking in the mirror knowing that I look fabulous because of my lashes! Dont get me wrong, I am totally beauty obsessed, so the thought of being able to leave the house without make up was horrifying!!! Not anymore! These lashes are simply amazing. They are so talented, not to mention so much fun to talk to!Nothing in the world could stop me from getting lashes! I drive to Seattle every 3-4 weeks just to get my lashes done. It is worth every penny and every minute on the road.

Price is decent, but my manicure only lasted three days..so you get what you pay for. I told the woman doing my nails (which I think is that manager) that the top coat was too thick (they have really old polishes there that need to be just thrown away) so much so that it wasn’t even drying straight. It was wavy and obsessively no longer good...but she just put an even thicker coat on. The polish peeled off by itself on half my hand three days later. I don’t work with my hands so there is no reason on my end for this to happen.

Last week my 87 year old mother and I went to City Nails. We had a great time. The care and pedicures were first class. Thanks to the team of professionals....

After doing intense research on who carried Seaweed Biogel nail builder (instead of acrylic nails) i discovered that this place is the only one in all of the Seattle-Tacoma area. I love the fact that they carry the brand and that they really know how to work with it. This nail salon carries other known brands of Polish and gels, and their work; wether is pedicures or manicures is excellent. I love how Judy did my nails today. I am glad i found this place.

I thought they were pretty decent with their acrylic nails the first time I went. But, still would want to give a zero for what happened to me today. I got a full set and a pedicure. But the full set wasnt as pleasant as the pedicure. I mightve got a new nail technician right out of her school training, and had the worst nail experience in my entire life.She sawed into my nail bed/cuticles with the electric tool, and continued to hit the nerves inside my nails and also made me bleed from the unnecessary over-filing of my cuticles.And while I was bleeding she did not notice, did not try to disinfect it, and did not care about my own complaints.While I did not complain about the pain, (because Im usually not one to confront), I did get out a little observation to her that there were still acrylic stuck under my nails, she shook her head as if I was the person in the wrong.But did try to fix it eventually, only to my realization after leaving later on, that she had only made it worse.The cost was another bad thing. Their website states that a full set manicure is $23, and the same for a regular pedicure. Every Thursday apparently is a 25% discount for all services. So I did the math and still got cheated by the owner, when she kept talking about 15% to 25% discounts and tried to confuse me into paying the price she wanted.I tried to negotiate but she told me that her website address had changed and the prices hadnt been updated on the old one. I reluctantly payed, tipped, then left to find out that the business card she gave me with her new website address was the same one I checked before going in today.My only advice is to make sure youre getting an experienced nail tech, that they clean their instruments properly, etc.

Service was adequate for the price, but customer care is definitely lacking! When I called to book, I was told that only 9:30am or 11am appointments were available. However, I was the only person there from 9:30 to 10:45 with the exception of a walk-in (Sat morning). The owner had her feet and hands done, and was doing her makeup in one of the chairs, all while talking non stop to the other staff loudly in their language. She would answer incoming calls and make out that they were so busy, and chastized one customer for previously making her appointment in person rather than by phone (her excuse for losing track of the booking). She tried to keep back $5 of my change, but I made a point of not tipping. The technician did a good pedicure, but laughed when she saw the underside of my feet (I know my feet are a mess, which I why I pay to have them done!). I will probably go back because they are conveniently located and inexpensive, but I wont look forward to it, and wont bother to make an appointment!

I think the ladies there do great work! That being said, I do not plan to go back. I called to make an appointment with a particular person. When I arrived, she was nowhere in sight. Two other ladies began to give me my mani/pedi. Although they were very nice, no one ever explained to me where the lady I made the appointment with was. The owner came by several times to tell me how nice they all were. After she waxed my brows, I proceeded to pay and tip for my services. Although she did the least amount of work, she took a third of my (generous) tip. I ended up pulling out a few more singles so that the others received what I thought they deserved for their work. When I pulled out my punch card, I reminded the owner that I didnt have it with me on my last visit and she said she would remember me and would give me credit for that visit. Now she said she would only give me credit for the current visit. I thought I had found my nail spa, but I didnt feel the owner was up-front with me about what was happening. I give it 2 stars for that reason.

Way too much acrylic paint of my gf nails, turned out super thick and off center, cut my toe during my pedicure, would not recommend ..

I am in from out of town and the service at this location was sub par. Pictures are not of the West Seattle location. I just paid $23+ i was guilted into leaving a tip for a foot soak and a crappy paint job, no thanks! Also, dont bring your kids here, a woman brought her daughter in for mother daughter Mani-pedis and got charged $500 for an ugly table that was not assembled correctly. The girl moved some magazines and the glass fell and broke.

Im kind of confused over all the five-star ratings but maybe I came in through the wrong door and found the darksided version of this place. First of all, when I asked for a regular manicure they demanded to know why I wasnt doing gel, which like, I get it be on your grind and all but thats off putting.I asked for almond-shaped nails and she (the manager?) gave me like, sort of almond-shaped but with the tips filed down flat so I had these weird ragged edges that kept snagging on stuff. When I expressed some doubt about how they looked she got really annoyed with me and said that was the best she could do and complained about my uneven nail length? (Note: Later when I fixed my nails myself I had plenty of nail to work with, since I had, ya know, grown them out before getting a manicure.) She hassled me until I said they were good (since she clearly wasnt going to do anything about it anyway and at that point I just wanted to leave.)Another technician came over to paint them and not only did I have uneven coverage (all the nails were different shades!) but she didnt paint them all the way to the cuticle so I needed to recoat and fill in the polish (again, once I got home). Annnd that was it! The tips of my nails were uneven and ragged so that was... cool. They made me feel like I couldnt ask for anything and literally my nails looked like they were done by drunk me. I paid $15 for that.You guys do you but this place is apparently not for me.

Seriously, the worst nail shop I ever been to .. I dont know how they have 4.1 stars? I got a full set and the same night the tip of the nail fell off. Two days later another one fell off .. I went to POSH nails in federal way (really good and expensive salon) to get them fixed and a color change .. When she was taking off the polishe TWO more were Cracked AT THE TIP. I havent gotten around to a full new set but just today another one done by city nails has broken off again from the tip... Not to mention the old lady there will rob you for your money she tried to charge me 10 dollars for a repair that was their fault ... My cousin also went there for a color change and she charged not according to prices on the board .. The nail polish also bubbled ...Yes, I will be one of those people to say if I could give no stars I would !Update: 5-5-16 broke another one ... Taking my pony tail out... Smh
