Very nice shop, great lighting and I love the nail polish selections! The guy who did my nails was obviously really passionate about his work, and did not rush. However, I had to file down the excess shellac and remove paint off my fingers, when I got home. In 2 weeks the shellac was lifting and catching my hair- Had to pay for a whole new set at another salon instead of a Fill.
Went to get my powder nail polish removed. They used a drill the multiple times in between acetone soaks (which is fine) BUT she was careless and drilled down my actual physical nail to a point of immense pain. And then proceeded to charge me $15 when the initial price on the board said $10. It was my first time getting this type of polish removed so I didn’t know if this was normal (to leave with your nail essentially thin, frail, and nonexistent) but after to speaking to friends, they said it was the result of the removal team and their lack of knowledge how to do it without damage. Terrible job. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
Love this nail spa, super great service. The people are friendly and always do a great job on my nails. Once my polish came off as I was leaving, so the woman who did my nails came over and redid it. They were very understanding and kind. Highly recommended.
Clean and bright, this place inspires confidence in hygiene procedures by opening sterile sealed utensils for each client. They were happy to accommodate a walk in. On the basic pedicure, they do the thing with the wax in a bag, massage and exfoliation. The chairs are nice massage chairs. I was very satisfied with my experience.
Amazing pedicures with massages and attention to detail. Been coming here on and off for 2 years. Best place for affordable and wonderful pedicures! She always cuts my ingriwn toe nails out with such care!
I love coming here. Prices are pretty good but the service is very good. If its not too crowded and they have time, they will give you a massage and/or hot parafin, such a treat. Dont try to call ahead, its a loosely run operation.
This is the worse place ever.. rude ladies.. and service is horrible. Yesterday my wife went into this place. They cut her nail and her nail was bleeding and they still charged her.. she didnt want to be petty so she paid them... they had the nerve to charge full price.. I would not go there ladies... ever..
Had shellac done here and the service was ultimately rushed and overpriced considering the quality of the service ($35 for basic shellac manicure). She barely let my nails cure under the uv light for less than 30 seconds between each coat and put 5 coats of gel in total (base, top coat and 3 of colour) which I felt was unnecessary because it was quite a pigmented polish. The gel was very thick and resulted in my thumb nail lifting and chipping within three days which has never happened before when I’ve gotten shellac done elsewhere. Also, there was shellac on my cuticles which I was not pleased about, but with regular hand washing it went away in a couple days. Went out of my way after work one day to go back and have the one nail fixed as it as just basic shellac on one nail and I assumed it would be a quick and easy fix. There were at least three ladies there and one lady (who I assume is the owner) said they were all tired and wanted to go home so nobody could help me even though I arrived before their posted closing time. She told me to come back in the morning, and I explained to her that I would be out of town and ultimately they refused to help me. After this underwhelming experience I will not be returning to Venetian Nails and would recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking to get your nails done in the Wallingford area.
A little bit pricey, but the people are really nice. Will probably go back
Nicely done manicure/pedicure, and the people are friendly and professional. No problem with walking in without an appointment.
Nice ladies take good care of you....
Prices are 50 for a basic regular Mani shellac pedi. Mani cut my cuticals three times to the point of bleeding. Its convenient and clean enough.
Terrible. pedicure was terrible and nails were beyond uneven. absolutely gross. not good hygiene. people were beyond rude and tried to use a language barrier as an excuse. one women told me i didn’t have to pay but then upon leaving i was stopped and tried to make pay.
Permanently closed. Space is up for lease 6.24.20
Absolute worst nail salon Ive ever been to. I get my nails done every two weeks, typically by the same nail salon but I wasnt close to that one when I needed them done so I tried this salon. I told the guy that I needed a nail replaced 4 different times and he ignored me everytime until I finally had to stop him in the middle of putting on my acrylic. He applied the acrylic extremely uneven and when I was showing him the spots where he missed, he told me he couldnt do my nails and left them like that. I have never had such a bad experience with a nail salon.
They always do a great job!
Clean, easy parking, good variety of polish color. Satisfied, and a repeat customer.
Very good.
Had a manicure and pedicure. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would go back.
They asked me three times about nail shape and still g0t it wrong and then the woman doing my manicure kept making me bleed.
Clean, friendly, expert staff with products that last.
Nice spa
