Great place that handles my laundry no matter what. Always folds nicely and are very quick.
Very nice staff. I was late in starting my last load to dry it and he assured me I could stay as long as I needed to make sure my blankets were dry. Totally cool and very accommodating.
I wish I would have come up here when living in lower QA instead of using my apartments small machines. I’m in Cap Hill now without a laundry room and this place is great! Very fair prices (I wait and wash/dry/fold my own). I have never had a problem finding a machine and can sit and catch up on my phone (or write a google review) while waiting. Starbucks across the way and a Safeway a block away for when I forget to pack detergent (like today). If no parking out front there have always been spots within a block. Thanks for operating this great laundry room in QA!
I wanted to love this small business, but my wash and fold laundry came back covered (and I mean covered!) in dog hair. And I didn’t see it until I opened the bag at home. They were friendly but unfortunately it didn’t make up for it.
Nice and clean! The manager was so helpful! Overall had a great experience 👍
How does, do you have parking turn into a 5 minute argument over the definition of a parking spot. It is a simple fing yes or no answer.
Very clean and friendly. Best place weve found in town to do laundry! I highly recommend!
Ive done my laundry here for years. They have new machines and the owner is a really nice guy.
Its a laundromat... small... not very clean but I finished quickly. Staff was in my space a lot.. theres not enough room to stay 6ft apart. I think he was trying to help but I didnt need help.
The owner doesn’t wear a mask. The machines are filthy. Where you put detergent is covered in mold and buildup. I feel like I need to go wash my clothes somewhere else now because of how nasty it was.
Friendly, drop off or self service.great rates on both services elevates this Gem to awesome.
Reasonable prices and quick machines!
Very nice laundromat in the Queen Anne Neighborhood. Recommended.
Funky and Local Laundry JointGreat place to wash a lot of laundry or large comforters and pillows. Also has drop off wash and fold service. Doesnt take coins so youll need about $10-$25 in cash to buy an electronic card for the machines ($3 for card). Otherwise bring cash and the guy on duty can help you out. (he looks gruff but is super-cool)
Was in the area and curious with the mixed reviews. Its unusual in that its not just a coin op laundry; theres a card system of sorts, the guy activates machines and you pay at the end.I get the impression the guy working there is homeless; hes super sweet and helpful and Im glad he has a job.If the owners really care they should give the guy some clean clothes, a shower, maybe shelter? Why is he working yet homeless? The management should take better care of him.Great magazine selection and tons of neat businesses nearby. Will come again.
A little pricier than I am used to, but they did a phenomenal job at getting an oil stain out an expensive white shirt! They also were able to put a rush on my items as I needed everything back in time for a last minute event.
Had a machine lock shut on my items. Was told to come back the next day to get my stuff! Had other machine stop early so my items had to be washed again because they were still soaking wet. Also looks like mold and other build up in the soap dispensers - place is not clean.
This place is clean with washers and dryers that get the job done. When I have ultra big loads, will definitely come here again. One note though.....dont bother getting quarters, everything is run on a cash card. The attendant was helpful in fixing this situation. Plus, when waiting for the wash to finish, what a nice area to walk around in! Upper Queen Anne!
The staff it is very friendly
Great location. Needs more places to sit.
Was in Seattle for vacation. Needed my laundry done. I came here and had a good experience. It was nice to see the owner had no issue letting the misfortunate work there. Very nice staff. Would use this service again if ever in Seattle again.
Nice laundromat. 5 dollars for a large washer that accommodates 2 loads and good dryers. I use 2 coin operated dryers which completely dries a two load batch for 2 dollars very nicely. So seven dollars for 2 loads. They also have a drop in/carry out service for others that are busy and have more cash and need the convenience. People are friendly and down to Earth and I havent smelled BO like another reviewer claimed. Listen, its not the Taj Mahal but it gets the job done.
Not bad. Some of the machines are in need of maintenance. But its a good facility in a good neighborhood and the only game in town that is open late.
Entered and was unsure of what to do. This was my first time to a laundry mat but assumed you load, pay and start your machine. This place has an attendant that watches the machines and also pays with a debit card to start them. Id rather be able to do it all myself.Machines could be cleaner. Theres a lot of crusty soap build up in the trays and the floors and chairs (fabric) dont look like theyve been cleaned in a while. Uncharacteristically dirty for this neighborhood.
An amazing friend of mine received horrible service from the manager, John. After refusing to make change for my friend, John made change for another customer. When my friend asked why he was denied this service, John threatened to call the cops and charge for assault. John then later denied all of these actions. Dont give your money to a gaslighting racist, please!
Its a ok place. Quiet and peaceful.
Very helpful if you need change or whatever, always available washer and dryer average cost for both $7-8
Quaint laundry room with very friendly staff. Amazed this exists where it does. Pro-top you can buy individual servings of laundry soap for a few cents
My friend asked to turn change into dollars to put on the card, owner refused saying they dont do that. Another person walks in behind him and gets dollars for their change. So my friend asked again for dollars and the owner said he was calling the cops for assault!!! My friend was scared and had to hurriedly finish their laundry while the owner yelled at him from the back to hurry and leave before he calls the cops. When confronted about it, they pretend to not know what were talking about.
The primary attendant is very friendly but has the worst body Oder Ive come across in a long time. This seems ironic since he works in a laundromat. Do the owners not allow the staff to use the machines for their own use or can this guy only afford one change of clothing? Can the owners help this guy out a little? He seem capable enough for the job.
Attentive staff with diverse customers. Good availability of machines even during peak times.
Dont show up past 7:30ish pm With a load of laundry attendant will get visibly mad and point at signs posted in obscure corners. Bring cash if you do end up coming here (minimum 5 to get a stupid card to use the machines) machine if they arent broken work great. Just use the starbucks Wi-Fi.
I would give it 5 stars but the pricing is inconsistent.
Very unqueen-anne like.old, slightlysmelly, inexpensive laundromat.drop off or do yourself.anyway, myexcuse for visiting fav neighborhood.
Out dated machines, strong odors, and a messy unkempt interior space. Try a different laundromat before resorting to this space. Also, the whole idea of having to use a prepaid card to swipe for machine usage was confusing and expensive.
For this review, I will expand upon the previously addressed grievances, which are prima facia to a degree that I am truly shocked anyone has left higher ratings:1) Upon arrival, it took me ten minutes to find the place due to a lack of any noticeable signs or visual advertisements. Additionally, the geolocation on apple maps is around the corner.2) The attendant was incredibly rude and annoyed from the moment we walked in. He has signs posted with the establishments wifi credentials, which are completely incorrect. When we asked for assistance acquiring such credentials, he immediately raised his voice in annoyance and directed us to a small sticky note on his table with a completely different wifi network than the one blatantly posted in 72 print font on all signs.3) The laundry card payment system used here is even more archaic than the good old quarter system. Absolute absurdity. I suspect it would be more effecient to pay for your laundry by bartering machine repair services than to use this card system. This is because 33% of the laundry machines are currently out of order.4) The cleanliness of the premises is truly incredible, upon which one will find boarded windows, exposed electrical wires, exposed plumbing, and various hardware laying about. The establishments scent features a cocktail of cigarette smoke, cat urine, general body odor, more cigarette smoke, burnt machine drive belts, and wait for it... more cigarette smoke. We had to direct one customer waiting to pay at the counter out to the curb to discuss her fare with the attendant over a Marlboro.5) The time it takes for these aged machines to complete a basic cycle of laundry is notably slower than other laundromats. But not to worry, this provided me with plenty of time to complete a short essay. This is truly the worst business establishment of any kind I have seen in the United States.
An interesting experience. The guy manages the place is a trip
The male attendant was annoyed by me even walking through the door. Frustrated with every question I asked. Rude and mean. I seemed to be a burden to his existence. I observed him treating others this way also. I will never return.
Great service, prices and really easy to find parking.
Inexpensive and good service, drop off is pretty good too they take good care of your clothes.
Very friendly people, good service
They have a great wash and fold option
When I wash my clothes there, I get all matching socks back ;)
They wash, dry, and fold for pickup in 8 hours. Great service
Clean place. Good budget laundry. Friendly staff.
Open weekends. Drop you bag before noon and it will be available for pickup folded by six pm.
