This was my first and only experience using Bolt Laundry. I purchased an overnight cleaning for two oversized comforters. When only one of my comforters was returned the following evening, I immediately called Bolt Laundry to find out about the missing comforter. The woman I spoke with said she would contact the driver right away and call me right back. An hour later, I was still waiting, so I called back. Apparently, she had gotten in touch with the driver but had no intention of getting back to update me had I not called to follow up. She simply said the driver had not been given the item. I asked if the item was lost. She assured me it was was “just left at the laundromat”, that there was nothing she could do about it tonight, and that someone would call me the following morning. When no one called by the following afternoon, I called back and was informed that yes my comforter was lost. I asked about compensation since this was originally a $218 comforter. They said they would issue me a refund and compensate me for the cost of the item. I said, “Great. Put me on with a manager so we can resolve this”. She told me a manager would call me within the next 15 minutes, I waited an hour without a call and called back. I was then told that the manager would be calling me in 5 minutes. No one ever did. All my calls after that went to voicemail. I had to get my husband and then my father with an out of state number involved just to get someone to answer our calls! Never once did any Bolt Laundry employee, let alone manager, ever initiate contact with us to apologize, update us, or attempt to resolve this situation. We eventually got in touch with a Supply Chain Specialist named Renee. I asked her about the refund and compensation we had been promised by the other employee. She said they would NOT be refunding or compensating us at all at this point, as they were still attempting to recover our lost item by contacting other customers. I told her that’s fine if they are still attempting to recover the item, but that we should at the very least we should issued an immediate refund for the cost of the laundry services they failed to provide and for the inconvenience up till that point. Sensing this would become an issue, I filed a dispute with my credit company, which prompted Bolt to finally issue that refund. I asked when we would be receiving an update on recovery. Renee said sometime the following week. Of course, no one ever contacted to us. When we finally got in touch with Renee again, she asked for us a receipt for the replacement comforter before they would issue a refund. We did happen to purchase a replacement, but why should this be required for us to receive compensation on an item they lost?!!! I sent over the receipt and never received a response. My husband called again and spoke with Renee who said they would only issue us a refund of $75 for our item that cost $135 to replace. We said, “Great. Fine. When will this happen?” She said they would issue a Paypal payment to us within 24 hours. Of course this never happened and we are still awaiting this reimbursement that we now know will never come. I am hoping this review makes it to the eyes of a manager or owner (if one actually exists) so that they are at least made aware of all these issues. But mostly I just want to warn others to avoid or at the very least, DO NOT place any items of value in Bolts care! This company not only provided poor quality laundry services for the services it did provide but there is absolutely no accountability or support if they lose or damage your items!Response to Owner: All of our customer service interactions throughout this experience were with your main branch in Seattle, as there is no actual Colorado location to contact and never once were we provided with one, if it actually exists. Its unfortunate that there is no accountability in this company. I did receive my promised refund finally within hours of posting this review, so I know it at least was viewed by someone in management who was able to help.

BTW I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the services with the laundry company. Now I want to give them more clothes. I don’t usually let people wash my clothes since when I was small, but I hate folding clothes. They have done a super job now I feel like callin them to come for the others that I didn’t send out to be washed. And for almost 30 lbs of clothes, the price is reasonable.*Thanks for the referral Catalina *I will find out when they’re coming back to our hotel this week. I received today and I already have an other bag for them. LMAO

This might work under limited use cases, but it didnt work for me. On pickup I was given a two hour window, but the driver arrived 1 hour outside of the window. I was then told a separate window for drop off that was also missed. They also didnt finish the dry cleaning, so I had to coordinate a separate pickup the following day...which was also missed.Unless you are able to leave your laundry for them to pickup and deliver with a person available for the day (i.e. reception of your building) I wouldnt bother. The price of the service would be justified if it were convenient, but with the way they manage their pickup/delivery it just isnt.

States on the website no hidden fees and no confusing pricing. This is far from the truth. Before placing my pickup, I called to get pricing for a 35 lbs queen size weighted blanket. The person asked me the weight, I told them, they said it would be more than a regular blanket. I asked for a quote. It was given. I said great, how do I book. They told me to wait and they’ll update the site. The day of delivery, I received a text saying the are charging me by the pound. This came out to be double the quoted price. And they never answer the phone! The delivery driver did not initially deliver my entire order. When someone did answer, they sent the driver back. I’m disappointed and Will never use them again. Please Take names of whom you talk to. There’s no accountability.Edit: a man called me back and told me that they had to dry the blanket 5 times in order to get it completely dry. I explained that I shouldn’t have to pay for an employee’s mistake. He told me he would refund me the price and we agreed on another price. This has yet to happen but instead they responded to my review passive aggressively (see below) and exaggerating the situation. I understand the person quoted incorrectly the first time but once a difference in the price was noticed, I should have been informed so I could cancel or go about it another way. The way they went about it seems like a scam to me. Sad because this could have gone better and they would have gained a happy and loyal customer. Again, lack of accountability, honesty and customer service. Beware this business.

To quote there web page No hidden fees. No confusing tiered pricing. But turns out first 10 lbs is totally different price then the flat price on there web page. The flat rate on there website was not what was charged after that. Stay away. Will lie about pricing on there website.

I thought this was going to be complicated but it wasnt at all. I just dropped my laundry bag off at the hotel front desk and they came and got it from there. My clothes are spotless, smell nice, and were folded. Easy easy

Visited Seattle for my birthday, sent two pairs of pants in for wash, one came back stained. 50% is a failing rate, in my book. Called about their quality assurance, was told that the tech most likely tried to clean them, but we cant guarantee anything.Theyre fast, but I wont be using them next time Im in Seattle.

Ive never in life paid anyone to pick up my dirty clothes, and am the type to first clean up and then try to help out a paid housekeeper, so I felt awkward and uncomfortable scheduling an appointment for someone to wash my laundry. The pandemic (and elusive quarters) made a lot of new things necessary, and Im so happy this group of folks are the ones I chose to help literally lighten my load. They communicated at every step, did a GREAT job washing and folding my sheets, towels, and blanket, AND their driver had biceps and a smile that made me not feel guilty he had to carry my heavy bag. Ill happily keep using them, even after quarantine ends. Excellent service!

Friendly and helpful staff who make me want to return. They folIow social distancing & mask requirements. I would get rid of the carpet to improve appearance & reduce chance of germs. Overall a good experience and decent prices.

They did a great job on my long wool winter coat. Came back in great shape and earlier than anticipated.

Highly recommend! I have a large, king comforter that I can’t fit in my washer and dryer. I didn’t think getting it washed would be so easy. The Bolt team had openings the next day but then texted saying a driver was in the neighborhood and could pick up sooner if that worked for me. An hour after requesting service my comforter was picked up, and the next day it was delivered. I will definitely be using their services again!
