Mavis Tire is my go-to place for replacement tires, plugs and quick air fill ups. Never a charge or fee for the air, and fair pricing for the other services. Quick services too. As a woman entering a tire shop, i feel confident i will be treated fairly, professionally and respectfully. This applies to both the Long Beach and the Island Park Mavis locations.

I called the Long Beach Mavis Tire Center and was helped immediately.. They ordered my tire and pushed to get my car in after I explained it had a bubble from hitting a pothole and I was nervous driving it! Mavis Discount Tire has always been my go to for tire repair. They are incredibly convenient, only an hour and a half between dropping off my car and getting the call that it is ready for pick up (compared to other places which take ALL DAY). Harry, in particular was helpful and knowledgeable about the needs of my vehicle. 5 stars!

Waited for a tire for over a week, while paying for a rental car. They never called with the status of the ordered tire, I called 4-5 times asking when the tire will come in, “we’ll call you back” they never did. I finally called another tire store (not mavis) and the tire will get done within 24 hours. Over 600$$ in rental fees. This is not the way to do business and stay in business.

It’s no secret that the best thing about a secret is secretly telling someone your secret, thereby adding another secret to their secret collection of secrets, secretly. And Ill tell ya Mavis is definitely the secret you want added to your collection. Not only are they reliable but knowledgeable and affordable. Definitely Recommend

Well I just came from the Mavis on Long Beach Rd. The gentleman that helped me harry was as helpful and as nice as the day is long. I guess I found my go to tire place. Everybody was really helpful there and nice what a pleasant treat.

Harry and Corey were a great help when I needed a new set of tires on short notice. Professional and speedy. Took great caution to be socially distant, wearing masks and covering the drivers seat in plastic so as not to get it dirty or potentially contaminated. Would definitely work w them again.

I called to make an appointment for an oil change and they told me to come right over. Wait time was reasonable and Pete was extremely helpful in letting me know that I had a nail in each of my back tires. Thank you for keeping me safe on the road! I use to like this place but not anymore. Too many things went wrong. Terrible communication between the person who takes your order and people who do the job, miscommunication with a customer - they called my friend and not me for some reason. Finally I came to pick up the car when they told me its ready and nothing was done, and after all I end up with a surprisingly large bill. 40$ just for a wipers that cost only 10-15$ in any store for my small Nissan. I feel they really got me this last time.

I run a local business and have used this location regularly for years. Since the change in Management has occured several months back, the customer service in this location has DRASTICALLY declined. What used to be a quick visit has now turned into a very long process. There are many times I walk in and there is no one at the desk to help, on several occasions I have waited upwards of 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, let alone helped. When Phil and Jose ran this location it was friendly, fair and efficient. The revolving door of Management/Supervisors has resulted in what appears to be a lack of care for their customers and community. The staff which works on the vehicles can be seen wasting time and at times you can even see the supervisor with them in the back just chatting it up with no regard for their business. On one particular occasion I placed an order for a specific tire which they did not have in stock and was expected to be delivered the next day. I spoke with the Supervisor the day that it was expected to be in and he confirmed that it was, but when I went to pick it up i was told by the Manager that not only did they not have it but I would have to reorder the tire and wait another day. It truly is a shame because this location is extremely convenient for me and it was, at one time, a pleasure to do business with them. After having spent thousands of dollars at this location I will now be taking my business elsewhere, even if it means spending a little bit more for better service. My advice to the Regional Manager and whoever else may care; pay closer attention to the people you put in charge of your businesses and focus on the quality of service they provide. YOUR inability to do this will result in not only the loss of revenue but many jobs as well. Good luck to you and your staff, I hope you get your act together.

Stopped by to because I had a flat and I was surprised they was open. I ended up needing a tire which they did not have in stock. The new manager there drove his own car to get my tire from another location. Now that’s dedication. Thanks to him and his staff I was good after.
