I dont like writing bad reviews, but this was hands down the worst gel manicure Ive ever gotten. I went here on a whim because it was close by and the manicure was so carelessly done and so rushed. She barely filed my nails and they were so uneven, the paint job was beyond horrible, theres so many mistakes and Polish not even on my actual nail, there was nail Polish fading and missing at the top of my nails, didnt even bother to paint around the brim. If youre looking for even a decent gel manicure this is not the place, save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Great experience, they squeezed me in and took time to get my nails right. She fixed my nails that I had done somewhere else and she listened to what I wanted and worked with me giving me beautiful nails. Its been a couple days and I still love them. She put in so much effort to make them perfect. I got simple french tips but Im usually displeased with the line work but she did an AMAZING job! I highly recommend!

I found this place because I was nearby and had a nail emergency. I walked in and Amy saved the day. I never had tips with dip and I like them more than I thought I would. Amy was so sweet and skilled. Will definitely come back.

Pang does beautiful dip powder nails!! Ive tried several different nail salons close to where I live and they were all very disappointing. Im now driving 40 minutes, to have my nail done by her. She is the best!

I read the positive reviews and had high hopes, I got a full set acrylics and requested them with pink flames, they quoted me $90 which is understandable. Unfortunately what I received after 3 hours was a bad deep cut on my pink finger, and wiggly and misshapen nails with stickers. I will say the only redeeming factor was that my nail tech was nice. Pics available upon request for proof!

I had a horrible experience at Wow Nails. I went there, because my regular nail salon was booked up into the next week and I just wanted a pedicure. After arriving I had to wait atleast 30 mins until I received my pedicure (I did have an appointment). Once I started receiving my pedicure I started to realize that it didn’t seem very sanitary at all. They ended up pressuring me into a manicure that I was sure about, but I figured I would just get something simple. That was my biggest mistake. She cut my nails shorter than I identified I wanted, and my thumbscrew told rounded out like my other nails. She didn’t use the colors I wanted, and didn’t do my design. They also made my friend wait 45 mins before starting her nails. I never like leaving bad reviews on businesses but I didn’t know what else to do.

This place has GREAT reviews, but I had a terrible experience. I called ahead, made an appointment and asked for acrylics. AFTER I had 1 hand GLUED one of the women comes over and says something like “my nails are very short and I need the dip, in 2 weeks when you come back they will be great!” What she meant was to take the acrylics off and use only the dip. Before I could say I want the acrylics regardless how long my nails are, the women working on my nails cuts a glued on acrylic nail way down. She didn’t even attempt to make it look good, just cut it off.As a result I have a right hand that has short square acrylics and one hand that does not. I wanted to have short coffin nails and walked out paying $45 for nails that are messy, splotchy, square and uneven. I am really really upset that I can’t fix this and will not be back again. Ever.

I have never been so satisfied with my nails before. She took the time to make sure everything that perfect. Her work does not go unnoticed. Definitely coming back. Julie was fantastic; I walked in just before 4 on a Saturday without an appointment and my pedi and dip mani started by 415. Techs seemed to care about their work and clients. Facility was clean. Probably the largest selection of dip powder colors Ive seen (which means I got just the color I was looking for)

I had an amazing pedicure here. Only catch was I asked for a regular, basic pedicure... going to a new place I had no idea their spa pedicure included certain things. When I went to checkout I ended up paying for a spa pedicure (not going to argue because I guess that was the service i received) however, it wasn’t the service I requested. I would definitely return! I will just be much clearer with my requests. I left paying more than I had intended to.

I visited WOW for a gel manicure while I was in town for a wedding. The nail technician was wonderful and my nails turned out beautifully! Would definitely go there again!

Good service, the lady who helped me was very pleasant. My inky complaint was that the color i choose was very different on my nail than on the sample, the lady was very kind and did her best to apologize and try to fix the color but in the end i still left with a color i did not request. The quality of the nails was impeccable and thats why i still would come back.

These ladies are special! Jeanna and Amy have been wonderful. I feel as if the entire group is family. August will mark 2 solid years of my going there faithfully without being disappointed - ever!!!! Love these ladies. Great service, clean, respectable and very kind. I cant say enough.

Beware of their prices and up charges! I went in and asked for a full set of acrylic nails. She offered to do gel and I said no thank you, just the acrylics. She did a nice job, but at the register charged me $55. I paid and left, confused at the cost. Later at looking at their website I saw that acrylics were $30 and $10 more for French tips. She took it upon herself to add another upcharge without asking or telling me about it first. When I called later to inquire she told me that it’s what I wanted, when that choice wasn’t made by me. That’s bad business and didn’t sit well with me. Be honest and upfront about prices FIRST. Give customers what they ask for. I’m sad, I really liked the convenience of this location.

I called ahead of time to make sure it wasnt busy when I walked over since I was staying in the hotel across the street. I was told to come in at 5pm, and when I arrived at 4:55pm, I was seated immediately. I got my nails done by Tony. I was politely offered something to drink. He then fixed the mistakes a nail tech from a salon in my hometown had made, while he did my fill-in. My nails turned out perfect. I would visit this salon again if I have the opportunity to come back to Fairfax.

My wife visits this location. The place is really good. The professionals work over there. Always do a perfect job, you just need to say what you want to be done. Way better than the other places. Great service!

Decided to try to place out since I was in the area & I absolutely loved everything about the place! My nail technician, Lee, exceeded my expectations my nail & brows! First time getting a dip powder ombré, and Lee did a perfect job on exactly what I wanted! Definitely would recommend. Will be coming here from now on!

Lee has done my nails twice and hasnt disappointed! The techs here know what theyre doing. I havent had a pedicure here yet. I recommend making an appointment as they always seem very busy. Parking is in the attached garage in the visitors spaces. I was recommended to this shop by my friend, Kabrina and couldnt be happier.

Had a great customer service experience at W.O.W nails today! Called on Wednesday in need of a last minute appointment (heading out of town and needed an early morning slot on Thursday). The shop got someone to come in at 9 a.m. even though they open at 10 a.m. Nails look great!

Got a full set/ SNS manicure tonight. Very friendly staff. Good service and products. Technician was great and even massaged my hands with lotion. I will probably be back. 😊👍

If you want great nail work then head on here. These guys really know how to glam up nails. Their prices are really inexpensive too. This is definitely one of my favorite nail places around.

I went to WOW Nail salon for a Mani/Pedi since on their website they advertised $5 off during happy hour; when I signed up they even sent me an email with the coupon code. I was seated right away and my technician was nice. The service was great until the end when after my nails dried there were tons of bubbles that developed. I told my technician and she said it was bc of the dryer and there is nothing she can do. I then showed her the coupon code and she said that was old and not valid (I received the code the night before). All of that time and great service (in the beginning)for in the end the whole experience was destroyed. I would like to give them another chance bc the place is convenient to work and other than the paint job everything was fine, but Im not sure.

It was a reasonable experience, except for the technician called Lee. She kept changing the price up and demanded that you come back to her every 2 weeks or else she would not do your nails. Her work was okay, but not enough to demand when you get service. Very poor attitude. Beware of Lee!

Worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I got sns about a week ago, 5 nails broke within three days. All of my nails are in so much pain, I was literally almost in tears while getting them removed. I’m not sure if this has to do with how they were applied or if this is typical of sns powder, but I will never use it again or go to this salon. The shaping and thickness of the nail was not what I am used to either. Different shapes, and the nail was pretty thick. As my nails were getting worked on other employees gathered around and watched their coworker do my nails which made me feel like the guy doing my nails was either new or lacked experience. Not sure. Go at your own risk.

The technician was good and my nails turned out alright. Nevertheless, the salon was dirty, the chairs highly uncomfortable, and she was very harsh when doing my cuticles that it lead to a lot of pain and my finger bleeding. To finish off this experience, after being heavily pushed to get gel manicure the nail lady wanted a tip. I’m a teen so i’m working part time and don’t get much money so i wanted to add a $5 tip to the already $60 charge. They straight up told me to go to the atm which only let me take out 20 dollar bills. Very sneaky of them. After telling her i can’t tip that much because i simply can’t afford it ( I went in thinking i’d pay $45 for acrylics and eyebrow waxing) she made me tip in my card. They ended up charging me TWICE with a grand total of $120. I need to work two weeks to make that money back and did not appreciate their greed, especially after i told them i’d be returning and tipping double. Will not be going back. They did give me a refund after i had to make my brother drive there for the third time that day. Hopefully it goes through my card.

Highly recommend her.Been coming since 2018-2021, and have watched the shop change and grow. I dont typically update reviews but the remodeling (July 2021) and changes to the staff have improved over the years. Plus the changes on services has grown. They offer SNS dip powder, gel and acrylic, plus eye brows and lashes. There are several staff now (Nina, Pang, Cindy) who Id recommend for various services. Highly recommended this growing local business! Call ahead if you dont want to wait, appointments get you in faster!

It’s a hit or miss with this nail salon. The first time I went here I got coffin shape and gel which is $75. A week later my nails broke. The gel was not strong enough. They fixed it for free and made my nails thicker. Now my nail shape is ugly. If you go here don’t get the gel just get regular acrylic.

Probably the worst nail experience Ive ever had. I went here because of all the amazing reviews it had online. I went in to get ONE acrylic nail fixed. When I walked in they debated on the price they were going to charge me for fixing the nail. One person said 10 dollars, on person said 5 and the next said 8. After the decided on charging me 8 dollars for my one nail, they sat me down in the corner and tried to find a color to match. One lady started working on my nail 10 minutes after being sat and then got up and walked away. A man started to work on it and did the WORST job ive ever seen. He removed the whole nail afterwards and started to work on it again, after the second time the finished product was FUNKY to say the least (looking back i wish i took a picture). After I expressed my concerns with it, he clipped the whole nail off and told me to leave.

I get my mani pedi here with Julie she is awesome, very friendly people welcome you in a very nice way they help each other when your nail tech is busy, love the service.

Whatever you do please do not go to this salon. I read alot of the reviews but the good outwayed the bad. I went in and said I wanted a pedi and eyebrow lip and chin wax. The pedicurist (Nancy) was rough but Im mostly there for my rough heels so I try to handle the tickling while she used the scrubber. Then i go to the front. I sit as my toes dry. Then it stops and Im still sitting. I turn and ask the young guy if someone is going to wax me. He wakes up a worker beside him who jumps up to check my feet. She has the spray but never uses it. Then i get waxed and i can feel the tacky parts that (tina) leaves but she doesnt give me a chance to say anything. I decide that i should get a manicure since Im there so I show them a pic on pinterest. They say ok. Tina sits to do them and she says ombre $65. I say for a manicure on my natural nails? She says yes but I ombre nail $5. I say ok. She Foles my nails then Nancy starts digging for dip powder. I say no I dont want dip I want a manicure. Tina hears that and tells me to move to another chair. Then Nancy comes over and starts to file my nails. She files the to nothing and leaves them jagged. Then paints all my nails one color. I say what about my ombre. She says we take over. I was watching her painting and I was starting to really get upset because I literally could have done a better job. The polish was so sloppy I had to tell her to stop. I had the staff take it off paid and left. I was and am very unhappy. Will never go back!

I got tips done here with the dip powder, and when my nails grew out I got a manicure with dip powder. They do a good job. Twice I left and saw flaws in my nails, but it was never had enough for me to complain about it. The staff is friendly, and they dont try to upsell you too much.

Horrible customer service. I used to go to this place and I had no major issues in the past until today. I went as usual to get mani-pedi. the moment I came in, I found a young lady on top of my head rushing me to choose the color I want. They seated me quickly, still indecisive about what color I like for both my nails and toes. Long story short, I picked a color for my feet. No problem. Then the lady moved me to work on my hands. She literally clipped them off with no filing whatsoever. I asked her if she was going to file them, and she was startled at what I mSaying. Another lady came to help and file my nails. Quickly, I grabbed my phone to look up a nice color on Pinterest. I found it as you will see in the attached picture. I asked her if she was able to polish me nails with the same EXACT color. She looks new so she went to another lady to check with her. The other one confirmed that they can do it. The one I was working with put 3 layers of white polish on. Then the other lady came and asked me to move to her station to put the Pink/purple chrome on. She tried everything and nothing came a bit close to the color I wanted. She told me that they don’t know the base color they needed to put on my nails first to get to the chrome shade I want. If that’s the case, why in the world you both confirmed that you can do the color I picked! If you were honest about it, I would have picked a different color!!! I was frustrated and tired. I told her do whatever, I don’t have any option anyway. She started putting the powder and it’s still white. Devastated and so disappointed, I went to the cashier to pay. They charged me $58 ( the regular price) for mani-pedi, and then another $15 for the chrome. Total is $73! I asked to speak with a manager hoping she is a professional one. She argued with me claiming that she has a professional staff who know What they do and, as if she was doing me a favor, she waived the $15.Seriously! What in the world?! First, you rush me, then you clip my nails with no filing, you confirm that you can do the color I asked for which turns into a total failure, and then you argue with me that I should pay for your horrible job! What customer service is that?! Instead of apologizing and agree on your staff shortcoming?!!!Never again in this place. My money should go towards the service I deserve. Horrible customer service and beyond unprofessional staff!

I dont appreciate it when staff talk in their native language. They ask you first what nationality you are and then talk about you. Too bad, I speak their language too. Will never go back to this place. Also, I didnt have cash on me that day and only have a credit card... the staff said she wants cash for tip and even directed me to the atm inside their salon to withdraw cash. Wow.

I booked an appointment 11/3/19 it hasn’t even been 2 weeks and my acrylic nails broke off the lady was rushing trying to get home I Reyes to tell her one of my nails are crooked and she yelled at me I stayed quite and surprised it was my first time going there I’ve heard great things but my experience was one of the worst

So I got my acrylics filled here only a couple hours ago and they have already broken on two nails. I believe it’s from filing down the nail too much. The nail tech also buffed my criticizes to a point where they feel like they are burning. I would not recommend this place for acrylic filing.
