Besides the fact I work there, it does great service for the community and helps others that otherwise would be off in situations that often are dangerous and not at all healthy. But with Plymouth Housing Group they have the leg up of a roof over their head. Which leads to so much more ability to help other issues of all types.

I was denied because they said I made to much money. The thing is they counted income I no longer receive. I would have very much of like to point out there mistake but they would not return my call. 5 voicemails and not 1 returned call. Thanks Plymouth... Knocked it out of the Park on this one.

Definitely a place to consider on whatever the spectrum your on, needing housing or wanting to help in some kind of way. This is the place, Housing is just the beginning… the first step to building hope and transforming lives. We envision a day when every person has a home and a better quality of life. And the work done here reflects every commitment to the vision.

Communists doing what communists do. Sit on their high perch and try and tell everyone else what to do. Their business model doesnt work because as people do better Plymouth housing does worse. Sociopaths and liars at best.

Paul Lambros the Plymouth Housing CEO pulls in about $250,000 of total compensation per year--about a cool $1 million every 4 years. Paul isnt going to be homeless anytime soon, is he. In fact the top 6 highest paid employees at Plymouth make a total of almost $1 Million per year.Things are not much different at DESC--helping the homeless has it rewards and certainly not for the people on the streets being used by the Homeless Industrial Complex.Plymouth Housing Group and their partner DESC Keys to Home do an excellent job at keeping people in a perpetual “marginalized state.” If you start to succeed theyll use any means possible to sabotage your recovery to keep you in “your place.”“It’s disgraceful. When we started we kept our costs low and helped people get back on their feet. Now...It’s more important to keep the staff paid than to actually help the poor become self-sufficient.” These are the words of Eleanor Owen, one of the founding members of DESC.My experience with Plymouth Housing/DESC Keys to Home goes beyond disgraceful—First, a Keys to Home case manager, knowing that I was working, filed false documents stating that I had “no income.” I had written communication with this guy and others that I had a job. I had disagreed with his radical Socialist views—hes also a UW-educated journalist but I was supposed believe that this was an accident or misunderstanding.I filed a written complaint. Of course programs don’t engage in retaliation right away—it’s too obvious—they wait.A few months later a different DESC case manager entered my apartment for an inspection in late November 2018 with a confrontational and abusive demeanor—she was absolutely scary. She took a U.S. Postal Money Order for over $800 for my rent.On December 7, 2018 I had an eviction notice posted on my door—after her abusive behavior in November she didn’t pay my rent. In fact Keys to Home, even after it was discovered that they were in possession of the money order, failed to return it to me or send it to the apartment management—I was out over $800 for over 60 days. Keys to Home had absolutely no right to hold that money order (of course she may have destroyed it and they were lying). The big problem was that I have a home surveillance system that documented everything, but rather than protecting me and my rights they informed this staff member that there was a video. Essentially they protected their staff member over the interests of a person they were supposed to be supporting. When I met with my attorney in December 2018 I actually predicted what would happen next—since payments were no longer being made through Keys to Home the only thing left was the Plymouth Housing portion of the payment.Shortly after they failed to get me evicted by stealing my money order I started to get monthly reminders on the 4th of each month that Plymouth Housing Group’s portion of the rent hadn’t been paid. This had NEVER happened before.Due to their failure to provide anything that could be considered “supportive housing,” a decision was made to remove my belongings to storage. My apartment had become nothing more than an expensive storage facility where I was harassed and abused—a place where I had a zero sense of safety— I felt safer in a tent on I-5 or in shelters. They wanted me to go from this situation to another lease right away even though I told them that I had no idea where I’d be working in late August since I had several offers. On the most recent visit, after theyd been notified that there was a federal complaint to HUD against them, my current case manager came to my apartment “inspection” with a supervisor. They came in “two-on-one,” a total violation of “best practices” with trauma survivors and an act of intimidation. At this point theyve done everything except physically assault me. I have letters from two doctors (not Medicaid types) that state, among other things, that these programs have ... engaged in a pattern of unprofessional and damaging behaviors.Who do they blame? The clients--LOL.

Plymouth housing group does not stand by their. mission statement. I live in one of the buildings, and have been repeatedly harassed and bullied by male tenants on my floor. I have reported it to staff they tell me to stay in my room. I have had to call SPD over 10 times in the last year and a half on three of my neighbors for attempting physical harm to my person or because of other harassment while they are either 1 off the meds they take for mental illness, 2 because they are very high or drunk and think its okay to come into my room uninvited. All 3 tenants have either been arrested for hate crime or for physical attacks on my person, or admitted into a hospital for mental health reasons. on 10 29 2018, one of the 3 Ive had to call SPD on finally was able to get his hands on me. On 10 25 one of my neighbors walks into my room rubbng himself staff did nothing however on 10 30 2018 placed a 10 day or comply stating I was harassing tenant from the court yard and was yelling at staff. I did yell at staff and I did tell them the ignorance and down right unprofessional way this build is now being managed was a direct violation of Plymouth Housing Mission statement. not to mention the VAWA. Plymouth housing group is a great org., this buildings management lacks in ways that are to numerous to count. I have taken the steps to once again request a move with another note from my Dr, stating this is not a healthy nor safe place for me to live. Staff has continued to confuse me with another tenant on the 4th floor whose first name is the same as mine and whose last name is close sounding to mine however spelled with a C not a K. This was brought to my attention while renewing my lease I had to show my drivers lic, to I wasnt that person, her violations have been going under my name. The tenant they confuse me with is a raging drunk how is very violent when she is drunk. She causes a lot of problems up there on the 4th floor, which you need a key to get to and I dont have one. So, how do I someone who cant stand the smell of beer or whiskey, and doesnt drink ever get up there and reek havoc whilst drunk. Nothing is being done staff has been told by other staff to not speak to me and to log everything I say. I was told this by another staff member who is sick of the way this building is being run. this isnt the first time staff was aware of the harassment Ive put up with here. The case management person here told me that I DONT HAVE PTSD and if I do, I use my PTSD as a crutch because weve discussed the harassment from the male tenants on this hall plenty of times before and that Ive have never yelled like this at them, I stated well the guy hadnt got his hands on me and now he ha and its messed with my emotional and mental health, in said meeting with building manager case manager and case managers boss said case manager stated the whole you dont have PTSD and if you do you are using it as a crutch in that meeting and also staed that they felt grand standed by me......wow yep, all true.. so here I am trying to stand up for myself and getting road blocks set up by the org. that is supposed to be a safe place to heal and live...Only to be mentally pushed down and allowed to be harassed and abused by other tenants on my floor. I have many tenants in this building that are witness to the bs Ive had to put up with from my neighbors and staff. I have reached out to the higher up within Plymouth only to be told its staff word against mine. I dont even know what the heck that means. I dont need to defend myself because I have done nothing wrong. I have no crimnal histroy nor do I have a violent histroy. The fact of the matter is they have neglected to protect me and have thrown the Mission Statement out the window here in this building. I am once again requesting a move. The staff does not have the best interest of the tenants in mind. The facts stand by themselves. The calls to SDP speak volumes. Once again I am a female tenant of Plymouth Housing, and I have been continually harassed and attacked by male tenants.
