If it werent for Marys Place... Id be dead in the water. They are a major blessing and everyone on staff is absolutely awesome! Theyve fed and clothed me during an outrageously difficult time. Thanks yall!!!
Pretty chaotic environment. A safe place for woman on the street but have yet to find the help I was really needing. Good sopapillas for lunch. The woman that works at front desk is the most patient Angel Ive ever met. She is a true saint.
Safe haven for women. They help you with bus tickets, laundry, essentials for hygene, 3 meals a day. They help you find shelter from what the signs I read say. They do group sessions which never occurred while I was there.Staff is very mean. One member denied me of essentials because she assumed I already got them. Granted there are many with mental problems these staff members are not trained nor equipped to handle it. They treat everyone equal but a bad equal. They assume many things but yet not trained professionals to assume closer to accurate. I would recommend get in get out;as in go there get the information you need for housing, counseling info, transportation, mental issues. Just ask for any info but be ready to be spoken to in a rude way. Then get out and never return unless specified, avoid the rude crowd if possible. If you come back for meals just say your there for food and say no more as they will set you up for an opportunity to be mean to you.
Marys place helped me four 3 years love this place.
A great place to get a meal or get your mail. Marys is the best place to spend the day or night.
I visit on occasion to stay informed and they have services to help people get their housing process started. Deborah
Staff should not be allowed to reprimand guests in front of other guests. Guests are all trying get each other barred so they don’t have to share services regardless of what the guests say. They’re not friends. And they think attacking someone who’s been yelled at by staff will gain them favor. Staff should show more patience and consideration here, I should be allowed to film what they doing.
A great place to give back. Local Chef Holly. Cooked awesome meal for the guest she volunteered for the project. Chef Tom provided this treat. Hes the Head chef for the Marys Place. Thanks.. Great place for homeless woman.to have a place to be safe. Great staff.
Real down to earth help here for those in need, and meaningful worship services on Saturdays.
Yay. Empowerment and respect.
The staff didnt even know I was there. I stood there for 10inutes waiting for someone to help me. The people there are rude, the homeless and the staff. They all disrespectful and wont help u at all

These 5 stars are for Amanda! :)I spoke with Amanda over the phone and when I tell you she was so sweet and nice and she really seemed to care about me and my situation she went the extra mile to help me and give me services and resources. Thanks Amanda it’s hard enough as it being a young black women and living in Seattle with housing rising and wages not covering the rent the strict mean tenant laws, discrimination... you made me realize there are good people out who still care and help people - Zanisha (Zee) 🖤
Lately they withhold basic needs items like bus tickets and plasticware, they also hoard cleaning supplies and donations that should be made available to all women there including for use outside of the center. I have been a client many years and several new rules have started that require us to jump through hoops while staff says we should give back knowing were disabled and/or homeless. Ive recently been told not to take a plastic fork or spoon or even a napkin when I know they are donated for client use or purchased with donated funds. There is frequent miscommunication between staff as one staff member, Carol, only works one day a week, Friday, and is not told details about what is required of us. She said I had to do a full chore, which I dont have time for, just for bus tickets. A few days before, the site manager, Serena, had said a full chore isnt required, just a small task. The site director, Hedwight Amoda, did nothing when she saw something of mine stolen by another client. They are stingy with the donations they get though they sometimes receive so much they cant even open the store to us because its so crowded theres no room to walk. This ambience is not conducive to ending homelessness but rather causes us to seek other ways to get what we need, ways that ultimately cost society more.
A place to obtain daily hygiene services, 2 meals Mon.-Fri., housing referral, clothing, shelter services for families, Bible study on Tues. with Pastor Linda, a safe day shelter.
Most staff is niceA bit of violence.
Marys is better than Angelines still, yet it seems to be morphing into the same atmosphere! & Watch out for the moldy oranges donated by Safeway! The Amazon food is wonderful though. Ty Amazon.
They could use some tablets, phones, laptops, bandanas, sneakers, t-shirts, and snacks.
People are very rude, the staff tries hard to do their job but could hire a couple people for front desk instead of the volunteers who show favoritism and can be rude also
Amazing support for women
They make you feel welcome
Always there, open early, Helpful, knowledgeable, convenient, caring...👍
Luv the workers there
My soft spot
