Took my girlfriends car in for an oil change and tire repair, took them over an hour to even pull the car in from the scheduled appointment time, then completely deleted the oil chain he off the service order. Nobody seemed to know what was going on, and the tech was covered head to toe in grease. Not too professional if you ask me.

Went to get some tires because one had a a big white nail in the sidewall, very obvious. I only replaced 2 this check and planned to do other 2 next pay. Pick my SUV up and had take it back because they left the tire with a nail in it on my vehicle!! The manager Wayne, I dealt with was very kind, unlike the sales rep I dealt with previously and fixed it and gave me deal on new tires but just having that happens sadly makes you question everything else, like if you missed the huge white nail, how do I trust the rest of the work was done correctly! Again they were apologetic and resolved the issue but my point is this shouldnt have been an issue, it was a HUGE safety hazard.

Been here multiple times with my Jetta TDI always synthetic change, $53. This time I was told my car wasn’t in the system and that it would be $178 for the oil change! VW dealership doesn’t even charge that much! Either they’ve been doing it wrong this whole time and I’m going to have engine issues, or they’re just attempting to suddenly justify charging my over 3X the normal amount. Either way not right, and terrible way or running a business. I wouldn’t recommend going here, spend your money elsewhere.

I had a 9:30am appointment for an oil change set up 2 days prior to the day of my appointment. My husband went to drop off my car before work and said he was off at 5pm but to call him when it was ready and he would come and get it. my husband called me to call and find out if the car was ready because he was able to get there on his lunch break. I called conrads around 11:30am and they told me my car wasnt ready and would be ready by 5pm. With a 9:30 appointment for a simple oil change my car wasnt ready until 1 pm.

Friendly good service with a nice waiting room with free drinks and 🍿 with a TV to watch why your car is getting worked on. Avg price on tires and work. Open at 7:30am thats a plus also. After I got new tires for my car there was still a loud noise coming from the car when driving the guy said it was wheel bearing going out. I told the guy I wanted to take the car on vacation and I was going to be driving 12 hours one way. The mechanic said oh itll be okay and I thought really!! Never drive a car on vacation anywhere if you know theres a problem like that and it should be fixed right away is what he should say.

I took there to replace all 3 fuel lines they told me it would be 1600$ in work. Long story short got it done for 350$ parts and labor still no problems 2 years later after work was done. Very high prices I understand everyone needs to make money but really VERY HIGH PRICES

I needed tires and an oil change for my daughters car. She lives in Pittsburgh and was visiting for Christmas. I did it on line, but selected a different product once I came into the shop. The guys at the Vermilion store always have done a great job for me, and I have bought many many sets of tires from them. I have been taking my cars to Conrads in Vermilion for almost 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and keeps you posted on their progress. I havent really shopped around, but if their prices are higher than other garages, its worth it to me because I dont have to worry about a shoddy job or having my car held hostage for weeks or even months (Ive known people who have had that happen at other places). Their turnaround time is usually same day, maybe a couple of days for a really big job.During my most recent visit, their employee, John, provided a level of service that was well above and beyond the call of duty. I was already very happy with my experience, and that was before I went to pick up the car and their mechanic, Jeff, casually showed me something he had found while moving the seat to replace the struts. It was my ENGAGEMENT RING that I lost THREE YEARS AGO. I never thought I would see it again, and I am so grateful to the staff for their honesty in reuniting me with this irreplaceable item.

Always friendly and very trustworthy. I know they are not gouging their prices and although very thorough and up front about your vehicle, have never pushed repairs or products on me. I appreciate that.

We visited the Conrads in vermilion, Ohio in an emergency car situation. Our van was shuddering and trying to stall out. We brought it in and I was already in years. Finances were right, we were trying to save for our wedding and we would be missing work that day because of the van not working. It ended up being a cylinder not firing and the spark plugs needed replaced. The amount was way outside what we could afford. I asked them to just replace the one trouble spark plug, feeling like I was putting a bandage on an artery but seeing no other choice. After a few hours, they called us saying they had replaced all of the spark plugs for us at a way, way, way lower price. They had heard us saying we had to use wedding money for the repair and wanted to help us as much as possible. Of course, I cried again. I was so relieved and in shock over a company being willing to help us like this.Thank you Conrads in Vermilion. You have no idea how much your kindness and understanding has meant to our family. Not only will we be back for our car needs but I will be telling everyone about our wonderful experience with your amazing staff!!

Was traveling in a rental car and got a nail in a tire causing a slow leek. Conrads was able to get me in quickly and get it fixed in about an hour. And to top it off they were able to bill the rental car company directly. With friendly fast service Ill certainly return if Im ever in need in the area again.

I was at the gym across the parking lot and noticed I had a flat tire. I couldnt get the tire off and walked across and asked if they could help me. Without hesitation, they got my spare on and got me on my way. I couldnt afford a new tire at the time. They didnt charge me. I really appreciate the generosity!

In and out in less than an hour for an oil change and air conditioning recharge. Social distancing was in place, everyone was wearing a mask. A good experience.

I wouldnt have given them any stars but this makes you give at least one. They have NO clue what they are talking about. I had another mechanic look at my vehicle and I had a major problem that Conrads should have seen and never mentioned. The other mechanic took only 5 minutes to figure out what my suv needed and he only jacked my suv up off the ground a foot or so Conrads had it for over an hour and on a lift and still missed a major issue which was my upper valley joint were so bad they were about to just basically fall off my suv. They told me there were issues with things on my SUV that were not even close to being an issue and tried to get me to let them do a diagnostic that wouldve cost a lot of money. The issue with my SUV was solved without a diagnostic. Its a shame places like this really only care about getting your money.

I got all my oil changes and my girlfriends done here. Got all my tires from here everything I needed. My check engine light came on and they said they were gonna charge me 114$ just to check the code. Lol what kinda shop are you running dude.

I have always have good experiences with Vermilion Conrads. Today they found out the problem, made the necessary repairs, showed me the bad parts. I am now home. Happy with my experience and would recommend them for good service. Price was not bad either.

Great place. Very professional and polite. They do great work in a timely manner. They have tires to fit any car and any budget. They also have the cheapest oil changes anywhere. Nice waiting room with fresh popcorn water, pop and coffee. Highly recommended.

I truly want to thank the staff at Conrads in Vermilion, OH. They had no idea I was having a bad day. I needed my tires rotated and one tire checked. I had an appointment and they were running late. I asked about my appointment because I had so much to do before I started my trip to Florida. I was worried, nervous and anxious because my fiance was burned in a work related accident in Florida. I almost cried when they handed me the billing statement. Conrads did not charge me for their services because they had run past my appointment. They made my day because someone had done something nice for me. I will definitely be returning when I purchase 4 new tires before winter. Thank you Conrads.

This was my first visit to the Vermilion Conrad’s. I had recently had a wheel alignment done at another Conrad’s location, but noticed my vehicle was pulling to the right. I called this morning and even though they were booked they said they would take a look at it today. They performed a second wheel alignment and that fixed the issue. Always good service from manager Ron and staff in vermilion. Took girlfriends car in for oil change and squeak in front end. Front steering needed greased nothing else. Didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. Made some recommendations for down the road preventative maintainence. Will definitely be back. Took my truck in 2/5 for an oil change, tire rotation and they were able to do a repair on my exhaust. Shout out to Will for that. Sent me a text with a video inspection that helped me make a decision to get my wheel bearing replaced. Good quality to video text. Again great friendly service from Ron, Adam and all the staff.

The Vermilion store did a fine job. Everything delivered as promised and on time. They beat the heck out of the Avon Lake store. I would recommend the AL store take training from the Vermilion staff!

I feel that getting a car fixed is always so unnecessarily expensive- when it comes to the actual price of wholesale parts and the large charge for the labor...it never feels good to get a call saying your charge will be over $700 (brake pads, rotor, calipers) BUT their customer service is so above and beyond excellent I was surprised. You just don’t get that kind of service from anyone anymore. They even sent a video showing what was wrong with the car which was really cool. They had the car fixed in a couple hours! So convenient and professional and pleasant- it made the bill sting just a little less. Adam was great and the head guy is always great from my experience.

We have been taking our cars to this Conrads location for 20+ years and receiving great customer service. Within the past 2 years or so cust service has been horrible. In the past, the front desk has been proactive in applying coupons and Conrads rewards but now I even when I drop off coupons, come to find out they dont apply them to my bill. I have to ask, and wait for the credit to be applied. The old manager, Ron, knew us, knew our preferences (night drop), and knew our vehicles. Lately we have to explain everything to the guys at the front desk each time we come in. The work seems to be fine, but the customer sercice is seriously lacking. I will now try another conrads location and hope they are better.

Prompt repair of flat tire, including remounting on vehicle, checking tire pressure and lug nut torqing of all tires. Very satisfied with their service and pricing. I highly recommend.

It was very disappointed with Conrads on my last visit. I scheduled my Jeep in on Tuesday to have them check the brakes, soft pedal. They did not get to do it Tuesday, or wednesday, or thursday. On Friday they bled the brakes with no improvement. They said they didnt have time to check anything else out

Wow! Conrad’s took incredibly good care of me and my children when we were on a recent road trip. We were about an hour and a half from home when the indicator on the car I had just purchased two days before showed that one of the tires was well below the recommended PSI, and falling fast. OnStar gave me directions to the nearest tire store that was open on a Saturday afternoon, and we made our way to Conrad’s in Vermillion, Ohio.Ron was slammed, but assured me we would be back on the road in a couple of hours. We went to look at the car, and he showed me the hunk of metal sticking out of the tire. The good news, he said, was that he could fix it and have us on our way, without having to replace the whole tire. But, you know, it would be awhile because they had so many appointments lined up.We went inside, where he made sure we knew there were complimentary beverages and popcorn. That popcorn, by the way, was darn tasty. My two kids and I watched some TV while we waited, and before I knew it, Ron was telling me my car was done! He’d squeezed us in, made the repair, and charged me less than $25. We were out the door in about 45 minutes altogether. He told us to take drinks for the road, and was as kind and pleasant a guy as you could meet.Thanks, Ron! We so appreciate your service!

I got my oil changed here and the service was very good. I had an appointment at 9 and by 9:45 I already had my car back. Will definitely be back!

I always had my truck oil changed and tires balanced within an hour when I waited. This time I booked an appt for 9 am I did not leave until hour and a half later. Also while I was there too many customers complaining.

Friday at 4:00 pm is not a good time to schedule an oil change but they made it work. They let me see the tech working on my car which means a lot to me. Good communication is key to good customer services.

Csr Alignment was done on time and correctly. Only one area of improvement, I was quoted $79.95 for an alignment, but was not told about the $7.95 shop fee that was added to the bill. Please quote the shop fees too. Nice staff

Padding the bill!! My wife blew a tire and and had a flat spare so she had her car towed here on a Friday afternoon. She had them put 2 tires on so I could pick it up Monday morning when I got home from a trip. When I picked it up the bill seemed quite a bit higher than expected but I paid it and took the car home because I hadnt had a chance to talk to her. After looking at the bill with her that night I noticed there was an alignment snuck in there for $80!!.... she didnt ask for it or approve it!! Theres no way she would have authorized the work when we are getting rid of that car in a few months! Im done with Conrads !!

Everyone at the Liberty Av conrads had been so good to me. I have an extended warranty and the crew always goes to bat for me and makes sure the warranty company comes through. I had an issue that conrads could not fix but they called the local dealership and got me all set up they even installed a new battery 30 min before they closed thank you a million times for helping me get back on the road

I worked in the automotive industry for many years. Therefore, I know how many shops operate. I have been going to Conrads for several years because I feel they do things right. No up-sell, no scare tactics, etc. ; just straight forward advice. Although they are not always the fastest, they seem to do business the way it should be done. More shops could learn something by operating the way Conrads does.

I had sent my mother in there a couple of days ago because of a issue with her car. She had told me a angel was sent to her at conrads due to the fact of personal family issues and she vented to a small blonde girl there. She told me that the blonde girl comforted her and took care her and talked about similar family matters she just went through and told my mom everything will be okay and that if she needed anything else she could always come up there. My mother said she was a wreck and the girl kept comforting her and checking up on her while her car was in the shop. I purchased tires directly from Conrads and had them installed there. There were several issues with the Firestone Tires I originally bought online through Conrads website. First, the website allowed me to buy 4 discontinued Firestone Tires that were also on a $60 rebate even though there was only 1 left in stock. Conrads moved me to an equivalent Firestone Tire and allowed me to keep the $60 rebate since I had to reschedule the install amd deal with a few phone calls. Then, when the rebate wouldnt move over, they just took the $60 off the price. All around, Conrads did what was fair and right and demonstrated again why they are the only Auto Care shop I trust.

Went in vermilion Conrads to get tires rotated and oil change. Tires were never rotated. Their representative tried to tell me they were rotated. They wereNOT. Had to send car back in to have tires rotated which I had paid for.
